Okay, then we'll let it go.
According to the tax lady, the lower your tax bracket the more you get back on the writeoff, just what she said. It's no different than writing off donations, the lower your tax bracket the more they give you back on your deductions.
To late, I divorced my wife last year. LOL
My tax lady says I'd get about 12.5% of my losses back based on my tax bracket. The lower your tax bracket the more you get back.
Jeff,
She's the one I asked about it.
If the company goes tits up or the SEC doesn't allow it to trade again, you can get a letter from your broker stating this and you should be able to write the entire loss off in the same year. Probably the only reason I'm still holding my shares.
They had an ad in the Super Bowl program guide, it's pictured above in the ibox.
another thing to stay away from is stocks with message boards that have LOTS of deleted posts...
Yeah, and isn't funny how some people's sole reason for posting on a board is to have their posts deleted so they can run and tell everyone how many posts are being deleted on the board. Hypocrisy at it's best.
For the sake of many, I hope it's the obvious choice.
Kind of like reading "Paradise Lost" isn't it???

As I recently noted elsewhere, I don't discuss the stocks I own.
I guess you'd be the exception. So you discuss stocks through PM's or email?
I don't find it necessarry to post on boards of every stock I own, as a matter of fact I sometimes wonder why I post at all on these soap opera boards. I own everything from penny stocks to large caps, just makes sense to diversify. Thanks for skirting around my question, I guess that's an answer in and of itself. GLTU also.
I never questioned her credibility, I questioned how you followed her trading when she never posts which stocks she owns. As far as the stocks I own, well, it's a free country and you can believe whatever you want. If it somehow makes you feel better to believe that I only own one stock, then have at it.
I'm pretty sure I know what stocks I own, yes. What's this have to do with my original question about following someone who never posts which stocks they own?
Must be hard to follow someone who states they never post about stocks that they own?
Seab,
I don't think there's a stock in the world that warrants malevolent behavior towards others.
I ask you again , Heenster and cohorts .....is this barrage against a viable company really worth that much to you ?
Wouldn't QBID or USXP or GZFX or IBZT or the hundreds of other
likely scams out there be more worthy of your ' benevolence ' to others ?
BOF,
Very nice post, which I think reflects the sentiments of many shareholders. It's now a waiting game, there's nothing left to say that hasn't already been said. To keep arguing and rehashing the same points over and over is a total waste of time and energy.
I think most have gotten used to a certain person's lapdogs showing up, it's just the darn fleas they have that bothers me.
Reading your post history, it seems the only thing you're really good at is criticising others. I done this a lot when I was younger, but then I realized I was doing it to make myself feel better about my own shortcomings, which were often times worse than those whom I criticised. The first step is to admit your shortcomings and work to change them. Once you get the moat out of your eye, you can see much clearer to help others get the splinters out of theirs. Also, the airlines sell tickets every day of the week, so buy one and fly to St. George and ask all the questions you want.
it seems like you guys are trying awfully hard, too hard, to gain instant credibilty and trust here for some reason.
I was posting on this board before you were an I-Hub member, I think my posts speak for themselves.
You may want to take a break for a while and clear your head, or you'll end up hurting this board more than you help it.
I wasn't aware you needed an I-Hub ID in order to place a order on a stock? You seem to imply that he couldn't have possibly been trying to buy the stock since he wasn't yet a member.
Quite the God complex going on over there. "The Divine Ones hath torn down the company and the shareholders, now letteth the Divine Ones build them back up." Nice. It does give me enough material for a chapter in the book I'm writting though, "A Lifetime of Lunatics".
Hey ambulance chaser, after reading your posts I came to the conclusion you can't possibly be as old as you state in your profile. I can't imagine a 55 year old posting immature garbage like yours.
Needmorecash, please define, "warning all along". Your last post on the board was on Oct. 10, if you wanted to warn people that badly you'd think you could've worded one post so that it wouldn't have been deleted. No, you're just another Monday morning quarterback trying to make yourself look like something that you're not. The end.

Yeap. I am not being filled at 0.0165.
Good point Coolcat, as nobody has of yet found a good way to get vomit out of a keyboard. LOL
Yes, everything truthful should be revealed in the light.
Looks like that was an Army purchase, not DOJ. I know our agency bought Ruger firearms last year, just as we do every year. Guess it just goes to show that just because you can't find something doesn't mean it didn't happen.
Hey Stockasaurus, since you seem to be a whiz at finding purchase orders, maybe you can help me out. I work for a Federal agency and we have a lot of Ruger handguns. I was curious how many dollars worth of business Ruger did with the Feds last year but, can't seem to find it. TIA
I agree, this board is starting to look like a bad soap opera. Everyone should keep in mind that when attacking someone, they become no better than the person they're attacking. Don't let your actions become the same as those you most dislike. Hold the high ground.
Agree, Serf seems to be pretty neutral on the stock and shouldn't be attacked for trying to clear up certain misconceptions.
Hey, maybe that's where those retained earnings came from?
Todd,
What I'm about to say probably won't make me the most popular guy on this board but, I don't think we're running a popularity contest here anyway. The last person I ever want to see show up on a board of a stock that I own is Janice, because that means the stock has just been involved an accident (going with the ambulance chaser theme here). However, long after most have moved on and tried to put the accident out of their minds, she continues to study and analyze it until the very end. In doing this she gathers knowledge that most of us don't have, knowledge that some hate her for having. She hasn't showed up like others who have claimed this stock is a POS, is sunk, will never amount to anything, etc., so lets not paint her with that same brush. I do agree with her that this is not the right time to launch some kind of campaign against the SEC, timing should be a key element when picking and chosing ones battles. I disagree that slowing the investigation wouldn't make matters worse, I think the quicker this matter gets resolved the better off we'll be. Plus, how do we know that one of the SEC investigators isn't a vindictive bastard who'll get pissed and seek to open up another can of worms? Why don't we just let JP's SEC attorney handle this, I'm sure he's much better at it than we are. JMHO
I'd prefer to be off the top of the list. Seems like stocks at the top of the list attract a lot of flippers. I wish we'd just drop out of site for a few weeks.
WOW!!! Look at that wall.
Apparently a signal to take the ask down?
thanks
Wonder how many of those were Neil selling at the ask?
