Kisses From Italy Headed to Canada
INDUSTRY NEWS | MARCH 18, 2021
Tweet Share on Facebook Share on LinkedIn Forward via E-mail
Kisses From Italy Inc., the U.S. based fast-casual and quick service Italian deli concept with an All-American flair, has signed an agreement with local entrepreneur, Denis Senecal, to open new restaurants throughout Canada in Ontario and Quebec.
Senecal is planning for a mid-2021 opening for the first restaurant. The new restaurants will be conveniently situated in key metro areas and surrounding suburbs, and will offer a diverse menu of delicious, fresh offerings that attract customers of all tastes.
“What stood out to me the most about Kisses From Italy was their commitment to fusing the authenticity of a traditional deli with their restaurants,” said Senecal, a seasoned finance and investment professional with a history of ownership stakes in businesses involving the food industry. “The commitment to this authenticity creates a welcoming and family-like atmosphere for everyone. I am incredibly excited to introduce Kisses From Italy to Ontario and Quebec and bring our unique experience to their community members.”
Founded by two childhood friends, Montreal natives Claudio Ferri and Michael Di Turi, Kisses From Italy began as a quick-service restaurant with Italian-American roots. Inspired by the delis and bakeries Di Turi’s grandfather owned in Italy in the 1950s, the Kisses From Italy concept boasts a traditional Italian charm paired with modern restaurant technology and service that doubles down on customer convenience. When customers visit a Kisses From Italy restaurant, what they see on the menu is what they get—unique offerings that avoid processed foods and tasty, fresh and authentic meals.
“When we first began our search in Canada, we knew right away that Denis was the right entrepreneur to help us grow,” says Claudio Ferri, co-founder and CIO. “His knowledge of the community, and commitment to the authenticity and family values we uphold, are remarkable. We can’t wait for Ontario, Quebec and the rest of Canada to finally experience Kisses From Italy.”
A fusion of Italian heritage with American staples, the Kisses From Italy menu includes fresh sandwiches and panini off the grill, with an array of fresh steak, chicken and sausage or deli meats that you can top with a choice of cheese and fifteen different types of fresh, marinated vegetables, toppings and a selection of sauces. Menu offerings also include angus burgers, chicken wings, and other sides such as fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, lasagna, panzerotti and an assortment of deserts. Coffee and breakfast are served around the clock, making savory omelets, bagels, breakfast sandwiches and sweet pastries available to guests any time of day. Kisses From Italy’s coffee selection includes high-quality brewed coffee and Italian roasted espresso, among other beverages. Store hours cater to both night owls and early birds, starting the day at 9 a.m. and closing at 3 a.m. in some locations.
