Why don't you send this article to Jim Simms for a response from him. I think we would all be interested to hear what Jim has to say about the article.
With all the news we are waiting to hear-Nordmin update-permits-financing-Commerce Report..etc..it is all a moot point if we have someone taking this project private. The only news we have had is Mark Smith is willing to pay .75 cents per share when the stock price is .40 cents. Go Team MS!!!!
I appreciate all the posts from everyone on this message board, and I have learned a lot from the information from the posts. I feel that the majority of the people posting here, have been following NioCorp for a long period of time, and have a substantial amount of money invested in this stock. I have been following this stock close to 4 years, and own a little over 100k shares. I feel we are the risk takers owning this stock at this point prior to having the project financed. It will be very disappointing to me, if financing is announced, and investors can come in and swoop up shares at pennies over what I paid prior to financing. I hope that is not the case and hope the risk takers are rewarded. Go Mark Smith and Team!!!!
When MS refers to "Competitive Tension" when talking about financing, could he be referring that they are getting close to securing financing, and this puts the "Competitive Tension" on the party negotiating with NioCorp to take it private.
volume up today also
I would be happy with $5.00
I agree with things are going well for NioCorp , but in the back of MS mind is how quickly things can change, as was the case with(MolyCorp).
$3-$5 is what MS said the share price should be at the last town hall meeting over a year ago.
Listening to MS interview back in 2013 about the options of getting this project financed-first option MS talked about was finding someone to take this project private. If that would be the case, the company taking this private would want to wait until the warrants expire. Correct MaxMillionz??
email sent to Jim Sims.
Question for Webcast.
As stockholders of NioCorp we waited patiently for the "Critical Mineral List" that was to be published pursuant to Executive Order 13817 on May 18, 2018. The report came, and it was great news to NioCorp stockholders as all 3 minerals were on the list. Also pursuant to Executive Order 13817, the Department of Commerce, in coordination with the Departments of Defense, Interior, Agriculture, and Energy were required to submit to the POTUS by November 14, 2018 a report that will be used as a blueprint to achieve Executive Order 13817's goals of increasing private sector domestic production of critical minerals.
Is it for good reasons that we have not seen this report yet?
Sincerely,
Greg Ellenwood

Response from Jim Sims.
I’ll have this question posed on the webcast, Greg. But the short answer is that the Administration is still working on the policy recommendations that are intended to follow the President’s Executive Order. It is possible that not all of their final recommendations will be released publicly, as some are focused on specific aspects of national security.

“We’re very happy with the progress and the pace of negotiations,” said Jim Sims, vice president of external affairs at NioCorp Development Ltd. “I will say, just generally speaking, on a project of this size and complexity, and it is a complex project, . . . raising capital always takes more time than anyone likes.
“The work we’re doing is going on at a furious pace - it is a seven day a week project.”
The pace of the project may be picking up, but that activity is going on behind the scenes.

Do you feel step 3 is directly tied to the report coming from the Department of Commerce?
Do very many people attend?
Glad I am not the only one wondering that-but can we expect to see the report at the same time the POTUS does?
The Department of Commerce report that was due to the POTUS yesterday, would that report contain some classified information that they might not want the world to know about be the reason we have not seen it yet?
So when they secure financing-the stock price should reflect the updated Net Present Value(NPV)??
It seems to me that they have intentionally kept this project under the radar-Why??? I am from Nebraska and ask people all the time if they know what could happen in Elk Creek Nebraska-they say no. Am I missing something??
This shareholder would not be happy with that
I agree-Are we getting "Punked" here????
I think Trump would love to be the one to announce to the world that the US will soon be the global leader in producing Scandium.
Or they are taking it private-do not need publicity.
I would think Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts would love to have this thing come to the publics attention before the November 6th election.
Is the announcement of financing, waiting for the report from the Department of Commerce due to the POTUS by November 14th for any reason? Thoughts
If they did have someone taking it private-who would be the likely candidates?
I agree-but if they have someone taking it private-they do not need to promote it.
New to the board-Own 70K NIOBF-From Nebraska
Even if they have the financing lined up-why are they not out promoting this project. Amazing how many people I ask do not even know where Elk Creek Nebraska is let alone what could happen there. Do they have someone lined up to take this thing private. Comments please.
