Hey BT - Do you think that it would be safe to say that this lends to proof that AFTC is indeed moving into a production faze in 2011? I know that we have all been talking about this.
To me it would seem that if you are barrowing money to pay people you have not hired yet, or have just hired it would not just be on a whim. You would really want to know that you are going to have somthing for those people to do - IE produce some pumps, if you were going to barrow money to pay them.

I can answer the name change. Also many of your questions have been talked about over the last 4 months. Aft bought the shell company name for the pinks. Aftc has nothing to do with the company that was aftc purchased.

Gainmaker - We have every right to ask him what ever we want. But that does not mean it is the right thing to do at this time. you have sent him an e-mail. I think that that is enough, if you do not, then send him another one.
BTW - I thought the last e-mail you posted from Jim was packed full of info, more then any I have seen from Jim yet. It was very useful info and is the main reason I do not need more info until the next PR.
Also - What you state does help the investors both short and long. I ask again how does this grow the company? How does this make PR news? If there is no PR until they have it then we will have to wait. IF he gives us news that is not real or does not pan out I think that is un ethical.
If there is no news yet then news that we already have hurts more then helps. Am I wrong?
I say this all in the good nature of the process of debate. Can you tell me how our e-mails make Jim move any faster? We are not what keeps the company afloat at this point.

Gainmaker - Not the point, the point is if you want to e-mail him, which you already state that you did. Then do it. I think that it only hurts things to try and get the whole board to bug Jim. We get news when we get news. Anyhow I question the legality of pressing Jim for back door info.
This was Luna Tics point I think. We have already been told from many that Jim has been bombarded with e-mails.
Honestly he gives us more info then most CEO's would. They only reason he replies at all is probably because they are small. The main reason we should leave it be for at least another few months is also because they are small. He needs to put is time to other things.
The last e-mail that posted with info from Jim stated it would be early 2011 when they get the auto contracts pinned down. I find it odd that that info is not enough for you being that you are the one that posted it.

It would take a lot to make me vote Democrat! I have not met one I would vote for yet. But that is neither here nor there. :)
No, I regretted pointing fingers at a possible pumper because in that instance it really did nothing to benefit the DD of the board.
I have learned allot from this board about the market and how to do really good DD. So even when a pumper is here I start to see and learn how and what they do.
Heck’ I think there are some on this and other boards that have multiple names and push it up and pull it down at there own design.
I think it is happening as well, but I have started to just talk about what I know, and what I think on this board - with a little bit of wishful thinking. I do try and keep my own thoughts either well titled as my thoughts or out of the post all together.
I think that you bring good points to the board on the neg side of things, and I have not always come out on the positive. I do not think that Jim has what it takes to remake the sun, moon and the stars. However I have not seen anything that would make me think that he is a out right liar who is making money off the ignorant either.
In short. I think that without a voice such as yours we lose the argument that keeps us looking for good DD.

I think that you bring up some good points. I think that the SC moving needs more defining from the top (Jim). The one time I asked Jim about it via e-mail it did not sound like a done deal, nor did I get the sense it was a move that was because of "Growth" needs. But if we are going to start speculating on SC then I think that we need a clear view of what that SC move actually is all about.
Also - I think you are right that longs do not mean forever, everyone has a plan. If it got to a 1.00 I would have not choice but to sell for the plain fact that I could pay off all of my debt in this world!
However - Shorts are still killing things. On the other hand, once we get some real productions PR's, not just PR's about what will happen in the future, the shorts are going to have to make a choice. It will not be advantageous for shorts to play that game with AFTC.
I think that we can all afford to wait a bit longer for PR news before we bug Jim to much. In the last e-mail that posted from Jim it was very detailed regarding a time frame on the possible new contracts. Early 2011 that to me could be any where from Jan to April.
Brookside. I do agree that we need to find out the truth about the auto company in euro. If it is BS, trust me when I say I would be ticked.
Many things came from that e-mail to gainmaker from Jim that I feel sternly were facts. But again we are going to have to see if Jim pulls though or it was just pump.
I like that we all can talk about these things though. Brookside brings perspective. But it is still not going down to 001 brookside! ;)
I think that the army projects trumps this being a scam possibility. There are plenty of things that AFT is doing right that brookside does not mention that could be put in the legit stock 101 catigory. Brooksides professed goal if you look at the bulk of his posts is to see AFT drop to the 001 range and then load up. He has said it is a good stock to buy, but no until that price. I have no problem with Brookside. But take that into account as where he sits when he tells you where he stands.
As I have said before. 2011 is production year. Jim has said so. And he has never promised anything else that I can see. We need to wait and see about the contracts that he said would be cemented in early 2011.
Hey Zcloud. I have not heard anything about that, but that same post I was speaking of earlyer states that they were going to have to hire 2 more people to handle the work load for phase 2.

It is for that very reason that I think that Jim will wait until he has the contracts in place for the Euro car company (that I think is Ford Euro).
There really is not much more going on with the Army stuff that is worth paying for a PR they are in phase 2.
After re reading Gainmakers post with Jim's e-mail response on Dec 5th I saw a few things that can give us a clue as to next PR.
Jim stated that there were things in the work that would not be cemented until "early 2011" with the auto company that they are working with, here is the quote.
"We have new business in Europe, both in the passenger car and heavy truck field. Contracts are not yet in place, but we expect to cement the business early in 2011. We really have no competition, and the customers are anxious to proceed. (Gainmaker post # 3063)
I think that once these contracts are in place we may see either a few stacked PR's or one big one with update on all things including army updates.
But from the looks of these e-mails and things that we already know about the company from Jim, AFTC is going into production mode this year. It makes sense, AFTC has spent the better part of 3 years getting there product out in the open in Europe, now that they have some contracts in place. I would hope we see come real sales numbers in 2011.
Disclaimer - I make some assumptions in this post, but I have researched what we have to go on, and all of my thoughts are based on all of our research.

You can't have it both ways. You are saying they never were a contract customer, and now you are saying they no longer are.

I had thought for sure we put the Volvo talk to bed when we all decided that AFTC did not do work with Volvo 2 months ago, and then I figured for sure we did last month!! I am starting to feel that people like to through Volvo out there to keep the new investors away.
Enough Volvo!! Lets wait and see who the Europe Car company is, and hold his feet to that fire.
This is all a mute point. I thought we had put to bed long ago that Volvo was not working with AFTC. I even think that Jim admitted to it (not sure on that last one, just stuck in my head that he said something about it in one of our many e-mails about to him about Volvo).
Moving forward however we are being told that there are contracts lined up with car companies in Europe and Asia by Jim.
I am not blind to the fact that we need more real PR information to verify what Jim has told many of us. Volvo is no longer our concern.
It is make or break time for AFTC, they need to come through with the before mentioned contracts. This will tell us al that we need to know about the validity of 2011 being a production year. And if Jim is telling the truth and Ford Europe is still interested and testing AFTC product that is a good sign.
At this point we will only know when we get the news.
At that time we will find out who is right.

My hope is they will be. I have the feeling that Ford Eourpe is our mystery guest.

Yep I expect that we will keep holding each others feet to the fire. That is why I like this board.
All the more of a reason for the Germans and Ford to go with AFTC.
You have been saying that for months now. It has gotten close and then goes back up.
I think that it is just as more of a gamble to wait and buy in the sub 1 then it would be to buy the stock at all. The fact is that every time someone buys it goes up some. There are to many buyers that are keeping this from dropping under .002.
Maybe everyone on the board does know this. But I can also say there are those on this board that desire it because they want to make that quick buck on the next PR.
Once 2011 comes we are going to be well past the quick buck. IT will not drop past .002. We are going up. And there is nothing that anyone can do to stop it :)
The more I think, look, search and ask question the more I feel that the Europe stuff is not propaganda.
In late 2008 early 2009 AFTC gave Ford pumps to test. This was not just an e-mail from Jim, this was actually a news PR. It is how I found AFTC in the first place.
I have asked Jim if Ford is still interested in the equipment and if anything ever came of those tests. The one line answer from Jim was "Yes".
Brookside - I was the same as you, I thought that the Army stuff was the only thing that we had to look forward to. Now I am not so sure. I think that Jim is being honest, and 2011 is the next phase for AFTC, taking all the contracts and beginning production. This makes sense being that AFTC touted 2011 as a probable banner year.
This is still all just opinions based on my research past PR’s and info from Jim. If in fact Ford is going DME in Europe, we are in GREAT SHAPE! Ford is less likely to screw AFTC like the Chinese would. Some of this may just be my hope, but when you add it all up either Jim is a total liar, or AFTC is getting ready for some real production.
