I think that WAY TOO MANY posters have forgotten or would rather everyone forget, something that was in the December Field Report:
******************
The results of the assay reports continue to indicate high levels of gold in our samples and Sierra Gold Corp. acknowledges that a portion of the gold is at the micro level and is not attainable for extraction on site. Sierra Gold will be required to transport the concentrates (black sands) to a processing plant, which may be out of country. The company is currently stockpiling this product with the aim of recovering as much of this micro gold as possible. We continue to explore various options in order to have these AU rich sands processed in a way that will show the return on investment that is profitable for all concerned.
******************
We know the gold is there in the samples.
We know that it's mostly flour gold and most of it can't be extracted on site.
We know they have several JV's that haven't been announced yet.
We know at least one of these new JV's will be "out of country" refining the black sands.
So I'm excited about the future, even if most of what's left in here (IHUB) are bashers.
Charlie
oops I did it again!
half a million shares @ 3
Ima so happy!
I think I saw the April Field report in real time. 20 minute delay for the bashers... lol
it'sa so good! I think me have a piece-a-pie.
Charlie
yes, Great Prices for those of us wanting to buy! of course, it would really suck for those who bought at 9 hoping for a quick flip. I guess that would be a flop.
I blew out my flip-flop
Stepped on a pop-top
Cut my heel had to cruise on back home
We're gonna make money and my bikini girls will be laughing....
Charlie
You are joking, aren't you? Do you really need me to explain the basics to you?
quote:
If you believe so much in this company, why didnt you buy at .0004?
My plan WAS to buy at 4, but first I had to raise the cash by selling part of another position I have.
After that, the Bid was 2 and the Ask was 3. It doesn't matter if I place my order to buy at 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7. If the ASK is 3 and there are enough shares to fill my order of 600,000 shares, then it gets filled at 3 REGARDLESS of what price ABOVE 3 I place the order at.
Geez, 2 years ago I considered myself just an Average Joe. Now I'm explaining the basics.....
BTW, I hope you took advantage and bought some of these yourself. These are GREAT prices!
How do we turn this ship around?
Don't count out the gold just yet. Yes, the fuel shortage hurt us, but we ARE running and gettin' gold.
We have MORE JV's. We might be getting money from these that none of us knows about yet - yet....
We have PROFITS FROM FARMS. I'm hoping these will be announced SOON!
We can all be more positive on this board and knock off the bashing crap. Potential buyers of stock and investors into the company will most likely read these posts. WOuld you be a first time buyer after reading these?
BTW, I just bought 600,000 more shares @ 3. five minutes ago. It's not showing up yet....??
Charlie
You sound a little angry. When did strong negative emotions make anyone any money? Think about it.
Some people sing and dance in the rain while others just get wet.
We Will get through this.
Charlie
The last round of dilution happened on the 4th of April. We haven't HAD enough volume to raise that much cash - until today. In My Opinion, this should have been the end of it.
BTW, I don't think a reverse is being considered. make a call, listen, and figure it out.
Today was a great day to buy! It must have really sucked for those that had to sell.
Charlie
I gotta get out of the kitty litter box and get ready for my job.
I wish everyone the best. Really. I hope all of us make a lot of money.
John is living off his savings. A lot of people that start companies live off their savings while things get going.
If anyone is unhappy or unsure about what is going on, then pick up the phone and give the man a call. It's your money, don't you want to know the truth?
Charlie
John ISN'T getting a DIME from either company at this time. He hasn't been paid in YEARS. Actually, I don't think he has EVER been paid from SGCP and certainly not from this new company either.
So give it a rest and stop making stuff up.
What a GREAT opportunity to invest in something **I** believe in! I just sold another stock I own and picked up some more SGCP at 3! They look darn good in my pocket too!
Congratulations to everyone else that got some of this action this morning! I see there's still some left.....
Charlie
Do you realize how foolish and silly your post sounds? Gee, I really hope the company I own doesn't find any other way to make a few dollars to help out the bottom line. No Sir! We're a mining company and that's all we'll EVER do.
Hey I'm GLAD we have more than one way to make a buck! And my post was NOT a re-direct of the company away from mining. I'm just glad that we do have more than one way to make money.
But thanks for the Hee Haw entertainment.
Charlie

Sometimes I have to get back to fundamentals and remind myself why I bought into this stock and why I continue to support it.
I’m proud to be a SGCP investor. This stock is the closest thing to a green investment that I’ll probably ever own. This company does so much more for the people of Sierra Leone than most others. We got into farming so that the people working for us would have something to eat. Brilliant. It was such a great idea that we continued expanding the farming and have become, according to the August 2011 Field Report, the largest master farm within the district.
“In early July the Minister of Agriculture and the Director of Agriculture for the Northern District visited our area of operations and held a meeting with all 5 master farms of which we are one, in the district. The Minister and Director expressed pleasure with the progress and development and indicated to our Farm Manager that we were the largest master farm within the district.”
I’m sure we are even bigger now.
I think most of us investors have overlooked the importance of this. For the most part we choose to be happy or angry. But if you are starving to death and watching your family starve, then chances are you are angry and desperate. Under those circumstances, a man sitting on a bag of rice is wealthy and happy. Look at the pictures on the website again. We have made a difference. There are a lot more people with access to food because we are there. How many more would have starved without us? People can work on making their lives and their community better once they get the basics of getting enough food to eat. We are helping them stabilize their country by helping them get food to eat.
We also employ locals in Sierra Leone. Not just working in the mining concessions, but in the farms as well. Soon we’ll have lumber to harvest and all kinds of work from that. Providing jobs in a poor 3rd world country is something to be proud of. And we’ll provide many more jobs in the future.
I don’t have the details, but I’m sure that Doug brings lots of things with him when he goes to Sierra Leone. Things like clothes and medicines.
Then we have the Carbon Credit projects. I know, right now there isn’t a market for the credits, but still, look at the project and what it represents. The trees help the planet from getting warmer, there is also reforestation, and creating a lumber industry in Sierra Leone. A huge project, and once again it’s something I’m proud of.
It’s time to step up to the plate and voice your support.
Charlie
My conversation with John:
I’m not going to tell you all the details. People need to grab a phone and ask once in a while. I’ll tell you some general things, but please, call him. It’s easy.
Fuel is still a problem. We can’t run 100% of the time that we want to if there isn’t enough fuel. We're running, just not 100%. That’s NOT John’s fault, or Doug’s. We still have crews to pay and rents and licenses and I know he is doing all he can. No guessing about how much gold we’ve recovered, but I’m not looking for a large number.
Lots of talk about the JV and the bad, nasty, poison circulating in response to it. This deal doesn’t cost SGCP a dime and we stand to gain half a million dollars from it. So bashers, give it a rest.
We are still stockpiling black sands. He didn’t want to guess how much, and I don’t blame him. I feel there is a lot more going on with the sands, and I’m looking forward to the day when he can share more info about it.
I asked him if he’d post the assay reports on the website, but he didn’t have much interest in posting it. It sounded extremely technical, so I don’t think it’s going to happen. Again, I don’t blame him. The gold in the assay reports is total gold in the sample, and not all of that is gold that can be obtained through mining operations – so it’s misleading and establishes wrong expectations to publish xx amount per ton and then not be able to get the gold.
The $17,000 in crops that was reported in the annual report was just the start of the harvest. He hasn’t received numbers yet from Doug to tell us about, but it sounded like that information is coming soon. This (farming) would really take off if we had more equipment. We’re doing great with what we currently have to work with.
I tried to get him to talk more about the Carbon Credit projects. Yes, the market is soft so we’re not going to be forward-selling the credits anytime soon. But still, I told him I’m a long term investor with part of my stock in a ROTH so I tried to focus on the value of the lumber in 5 years. That could be HUGE and worth BIG $$$, but still, it’s at least 5 more years before the first trees will be ready for harvesting. I don’t care if it is 5 years out. As a long term investor I’m happy with a huge return in 5 years.
TOSCA, I asked for you. SL2 isn’t even on the radar because of the soft market. The land owners aren’t worried because they still get paid their rents, if we use the land or not.
So that’s it from me. I hope some of you give him a call.
Charlie
I just had a long conversation with John.
I'm not sure what I'll say in here about it, and it will take a while to write it up anyway.
It's not hard to reach him. I strongly urge ANYONE who has questions to call him. There are a lot of GOOD things about this company and a lot of GOOD REASONS why I'm invested in it. If you feel the same way, then give him a call. He's heard enough of the slander basher craper to death talk and could hear from a few of us supporters.
His number is Phone: +1 330 273 6181
and yes, a FR and maybe a PR is coming soon - as in a few days to a couple weeks from now.
Charlie
Well, I tried calling John twice. Once in the morning and just now. No answer. Maybe he is working on a PR or FR?? or just plain ol busy.
Charlie
I'm seriously thinking about calling John in the morning.
Anyone have a question or two they'd like me to ask? No promises, but I might ask for you..... if remember. I've got a bad bad memory.
Quote: Has SGC ever directly stated that the farming/agriculture was profitable?
Yes they have. We made $17,000 so far. It's in the annual report published March 27,2012
http://www.otcmarkets.com/financialReportViewer?symbol=SGCP&id=75956
I'm pretty sure that was just the BEGINNING of the harvest.
Wow! Look at ALL the posters that came out from silence yesterday to get a peak at Millers conversation with Parent.... How many were they?
And that's just the ones that were willing to post an e-mail address. how many more do we have that just look and NEVER post or write at all?
I consider all that asked yesterday, well at least half of them, to be potential buyers, either first time or adding padding. All we are waiting for is GOOD NEWS and Bam!
It's gonna be BIG!
More eyes = More buys
Boom Boom
out go the lights!
Charlie
That is exactly what it did for me.... confirm.
Thanks again Miller.
This could hit a dime this year. Anyone agree with me?
mjtwmiller, I'm interested to hear what SP had to say.
Thanks for offereing to share your conversation with him!
my e-mail is

(I was a piano major in college, so I liked the name pianist)
Charlie
BakerBoy, I agree! I see future profits coming!
Yesterday I was fortunate enough to pick up 725,000 shares @ 3!! They were GREEN within an hour! my first 3's! No more cash for me though, so I'll just watch today.
I wonder how much we made from crops in Jan / Feb / March?
I wonder how many JVs we have right now and how much we will make from them?
I wonder how many MILES of river concessions we have now? 40?
I wonder how tall our trees are right now?
I wonder what's going on with the black sands and how many tons we have now?
I wonder
I wa wa wa wa wonder
why
why why why why why
some would not stay
and I wonder, when this will pay
and be a runaway
my little run run run run runaway
Charlie
Thanks Bali!
I'm going to be pinging the 'puter all day trying to see that UPDATE!
I think a PR about production will do more good for the PPS than the Q2 fins, although either one will be most welcomed!
I aint dancing no hookey pookey
I'll be more traditional rock
cuz That's what I'm all about!
boom boom
out go the lights
Charlie
Good one B4,
We need a little play time once in a while.
I remember when this board used to share notes from phone conversations with John. I haven't seen anyone do that in a long long time. I might do it, but I don't have all that much time in the morning before I have to leave for work.
anyone care to share something postivie from talking recently with John?
Charlie
Kephri, I think it's GREAT that they reprint old PR's. Too bad they don't have anything new to show.... yet. can't wait till they do, cause I'LL be doing the Happy Dance too!

More Eyes = More Buys
Charlie
Jim, any reply to your text to SP last night?
Thanks for your reply, Dredge.
And Cork, I did not mean to ruffle your feathers. Yes, I KNOW that the fuel shortages have been well documented, but here is a man that has BEEN THERE and I am hangging on to whatever optimism I have left.
Dredge, I was disappointed to read your post about not seeing any fuel shortage in SL. I've read a lot of your posts here and in another board and have come to respect you. So I'm sure you are relaying your experiences to us.
Is it possible that the places you went HAD fuel while other parts of the country did not? or that maybe you went AFTER SGCP had experienced their difficulties?
I'm trying to put a good face on this. I'm hoping that SGCP will come out with a nice PR soon with some good news.
Charlie
Sorry Risk, I guess I'm seeing something different in Yahoo. Sometimes they post what looks to me to be a 'EDGAR summary' is the best way for me to describe it.
What JUST posted in EDGAR???
This looks like last years annual statement. Am I right?
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=sney.pk
Charlie
Great start for a nice run!
GO BRGO!
10?
hey! I placed an order AT THE ASK and they won't fill it!.... They show over 12 million shares available at the ask and they won't fill an order for 75,000 shares????
It's only been about 5 minutes, but it should have filled in seconds.
Charlie
Do *** I *** need to get this party started today? Well all righty then. here is an average Joe buy at 5 for 75k shares. Nothin' much really, but it get's us going in the right direction.
Charlie
Dredge!! So GOOD to see you back and posting again! You've been missed and I hope you'll be able to share some of the things you've seen and heard while in SL.
Charlie
Dickie D I'm with you!
From a PR:
TORONTO, Jan. 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sierra Gold Corporation (Pink Sheets:SGCP) is pleased to announce that 4 non-associated groups have shown interest and entered into negotiations to develop a joint venture situation to process its Black Sand tailings.
The company is in the process of reviewing all 4 offers. We will be looking at reliability and what will be in the best interests of the company.
Sierra Gold Corp. is also pursuing its own ability to acquire equipment to enhance its gold and strategic minerals recovery from their black sands. Black sands gold content, as previously assayed and reported by SGS Labs in Peterborough, Canada, range from 18-170 grams per ton.
*****************************
So now we know ONe of the 4 "non-associated groups". What happened to the other 3? Did they all go away, or did we strike a deal with at least one other group?
And another PR stated that SGCP was getting some addiational equipment to process the black sands on their own as well. Sounds like a lot of potential and I'm hopeful we'll hear about it soon!
Charlie
I feel like the old Mervyn's commerical with the lady pressing her face up against the glass door and her hands opening and closing, "OPEN, OPEN, OPEN".
yes, TOSCA, That was nice to see some income from crops.
I'll have to put my "I'm just an average Joe" hat on and say that I really haven't paid that much attention to these annual reports. I've SEEN them, but not tried to get anything out of them. I'd rather read it in a PR, which I'm still hoping we'll see soon.
I haven't read a lot of the back and forth mud and krud posts lately either. I've learned that there are ALWAYS those that will find, or imagine, bad things in these reports.
I'd like to comment on the Good things I saw in there.
First, and this is a biggie for me, Management Wages (Deferred) 144,000.00 I had forgotten that Doug and John aren't getting paid yet. It looks like they are keeping track (in a transparent way) of what they have earned and NOT getting the money for it. I'm assuming that this will be paid to them when SGCP becomes profitable. I like that they have that much faith in this company to hold off on getting paychecks.
Credit Carbon Project 77,250.00
This amount is less than it was last year. But still, $77k is going into this project. I wonder what the breakdown is for this? how much went into planting more trees, and how much went into the management of the CC project?
Total Geological 87,070.00 I'm STILL hoping that they will post a report from this on the website.... I'm VERY happy to see this is an ongoing expense.
**********************
and I know we all see that we closed at .0003 today. What a shame that was. All it took was one p'd off guy to knock it down with a small sale of what? $1.50?? What is a shame is that no body stepped up and bought a little at 4... instead we cry that it closed at 3. I guess that shows that all of us LONGS are tapped out right now, or just too tired to play Batman at the end of the day and buy a little to save us all. My family and friends that have believed in me and bought into SGCP based on MY reccomendation, well, they aren't too happy with me right now. (if you total ALL our accounts, it's about 20 million shares) I keep telling them that they don't lose if they don't sell, but all they see is the value of their account in decline and ... you get the picture.
So I'm hoping for a PR with GREAT news, and SOON!
Charlie
News soon! Maybe today?
From the last FR:
All crops have been harvested and are being processed and bagged for storage pending sale and/or use for the next season. The company has purchased another tractor from the Ministry of Agriculture which it had been previously renting on an as available basis. This will enhance both planting and harvesting capabilities. The company will have specific harvesting details by the end of March.
Well, it's the end of March.
Wowzers!! ASK is 4!! I could NOT resist and 275k shares at 4 are now MINE!
Maybe those shares will finance a vacation someday.
I just checked, and this magazine is still on-line and publishing new issues....
They alresady tried to do a reverse split a few years ago, but couldn't because they needed shareholder approval. We own more of the company than they do! I think they were pissed and abanded us. IMO
