Really? You find this amazing? A penny stock that left you out to dry???? Never, not in your wildest dreams.
Puhleeze. If anything, I hoped you learned at least something about pennies and these boards at the expense of your pride more than your money.
Powerful statement:
Spongetech was set up to be a scam and there is no way to undo what has already been done.
I actually find it very ignorant of you to make such a statement before all the facts are known. Yes, I've seen all the supporting "stuff" that has become public knowledge and how it keeps this board thriving, and it's all good to know stuff, but it's all speculation as to the spin posters put on them. You're opinion is pure specualtion.
I got time to wait it out and could care less if I lose out because I invested and devested wisely with SPNG since May 2009. Have some freebee shares I tucked away in my closet which I'll open at a much later date....they may just be worth something by then....kind of like like a collector's item but it earns value much more quickly.
All of you nay and pro sayers are too much. Just one right after the other feeding off every little drop of info...good or bad. And when there is no drop left, it's time to rehash something done back in September or June. Not sure how or why you all persist, every minute of every day, the same posters, on a stock/company that has become boringly distasteful.
I'll ride my free shares to the bitter end, but I refuse to get caught up in this fillabuster. I have a life. When interesting news comes out, I'll know it, and read what the take is. For now, it's all just meaningless rhetoric.
Aall great questions, sorry, but their are no legit answers unless you want to believe some of the "stuff" on these boards....then you're better off with no answers then. It sucks, but it's a wait and see. The company has elected to remove itself from the investment community....which could be good or bad news pending on how one looks at it. The pps ceertainly supports the bad news. The good news is that they may be focusing their efforts on business related endeavors. I emphasize "may".
Well, I've been in pennies enough to know that your .01% chance of a PR not happening is actually a "good chance".
Maybe he smoked his ambitions away. Who the heck knows. He's MIA and probably left some bagholders including me, but it's too small of a bag (dollar wise) to be mad or felt taken.
Pennies man...it's called pennies. It all comes with the teritory, scam city. Hard to find genuine management, with a product/service that sells, and potential all together. SPNG had the last 2, but the management turned out to be scoundrels.
Marred? How? You're telling me that the average American family knows about all the shinanagns going on with the company???? They don't know sh*t and they don't care. Most American families have nothing to do with the stock market or a brands stock price. (I'm assuming this is where you get the "marred" opinion). The only market the typical American family plays is in their company's 401K, 403B, whatever program which doesn't mean sh*t again when it comes to a company's stock performance awareness or their legal issues. The only time they see a change or can develop a marred opinion is through reviews or when/if the product is removed from the shelves. Don't see that happenning here except maybe a few here and there BECAUSE I see them in the stores and I read the reviews. Can't get more factual than that when you can place your hand on the product. Heck, the average news stories that address the products function mention nothing about the company, just the product and I don't see the reviews leading to a marred product. Marred management because we are "in the know" of the legal issues and no audited much less published financials, but marred product????
Explain the "marred" part and enlighten me.
Only allowed post of the day.
Where the Hell have you been? Sounds like you just woke up from a 4 month nap. Yes, they (M&M) can suck my....
It's quite pathetic the games they played on investors and now the silence is deafening. I've moved on and stay in touch because I have some free shares riding and it gets interesting on this board when news comes out.
GLTY, sorry to see you go, but totally get it.
This "puzzle" will never come completely together. There are and will be way too many pieces missing. My take-away will be simple....I either made a good or poor long term investment choice; regardless, I can live with it and sleep well at night because I managed my SPNG investment wisely from May to September and did not lose money on it. In fact, I made a little and have no regrets on the fact that I could have made a lot. My current investment is and has been for the last 4 months on the house. Everything I did in terms of buys/sells was my decision based on the facts, my beliefs, my research, AND not on the so called "opinions" (personal aggendas) a number of posters on this board have/had.
One thing that "puzzles" me to this very day, is that I don't recall anyone on this board ever taking a trip to NYC and attempt to confront the Mutt brothers. With all that's been at stake for some who unwisely bet the farm on this company, I thought for sure there would have been some personal "visits" to management.
GLTA...and what an interesting, frustrating, exciting ride this has and will continue to be. Only post allowed for the day.
Like a fricking balloon....wait, how can a deflated balloon pop?
Puhleeze!
It's DNR
Holy boring on both sides. Sorry I checked the board at the end of the day.
Now that was kind of funny...thanks for the smirk. It almost made it to a smile.
GLTY wylder111,
Although no PRs seem to be a good thing in light of how they have negatively affected the pps, we are owed some clarity. I don't care if it's bad news, i.e. 20B OS. It's time the guy starts getting real with the investment community and instills some honesty and confidence. He either starts providing an open honest investment forum or he's indeed a scammer/swindler. My money says the former.
Whatever. If you play in the penny game, then one should expect a scam from time to time. Not saying this is a scam, but it's cracking up to be one. I still give it the benefit of the doubt due to the interesting and new type of market potential.
Everyone who is whining hould just stop what they're doing and look in the mirror and say..." I am a penny stock trader, I understand the very high risk that goes with them, if I bet the farm and lost, I have nothing to blame except for me and my investing stupidity".
Man, all you guys are just so witty this morning. I'm just so amazed of all the different types of "waves" that are coming. Of course, the original poster certainly continues to leave the door wide open for this kind of response...post after post after post.
That's it, my one post for the day. My short lived amusement is over; time to go back to real investments and watching the snow melt which carries more interest.
and of course that makes them authentic....
That's "awww...thennnn...tick" meaning genuine...oh here I have to go again.... "jen...you...innn" meaning "real".
Wow, unbelieveable
I think "TG" stand for "Total Gossip"
Puleeze! If I'm trying to start up a company in an emerging market, like I'd be listening to IHubbers.....much less throw in the towel because some people hurt my feelings.
So many posters on IHUB are either teenagers or they try and manipulate like a teenager. Thank goodness I have much better things to do than listen to a bunch of BS on an a so called email or text message that even sounds like it came from a teenager.
Wake up people and sit back for some trust worthy info. My goodness. I'm out of this teeny bop land. Grow up.
My take on them being scoundrels is ligit and as a result of their behavior, the company is indeed in a world of hurt. Look at the pps, the law suits, the Wells notice, the suspension of trading, that's not hurting???? Note that I said "scoundrel", not "criminals"...at least not yet. Get with the frigging program. Look up the defintion.
Scoundrels are "wicked" people. Can you honestly tell me that all the things they did to shareholders since August 31st was not wicked, coniving, irresponsible, down right mean?
Wish I had more than one post/day. Been chomping at the bit to reply to your naive post.
Amazing how posters continue to spin things with this frigged up company. From the average down BS to the MOASS, it's all pretty pathetic, yet humerous I must admitt.
People (not specifically directed to you Mengo80), relax and chill. The company is in a world of hurt thanks to the M&M scoundrels, that's a fact. The product is accepted by the consumer and sells, with potentially more to come, that too is a fact. Pike is buying more stock, even with the regulatory hound dogs on M&M's trail. Not a fact, but my opinion, Spongie is here to stay.
Stay tuned, a lot more to come in the weeks and months ahead.
It's all quite baffling isn't it. Regardless of what side of the fence you're on, there are questions at every decision or turn this management has made since late August. Personally, I'm still riding some free shares, though not as free as they were of course, and that's the only reason I'm sticking around. I hate the fricking Mutt brothers, but still believe in the technology, product, marketing and it's overall future. My kids love the SpongeBob sponge and the car wash sponge that I tested over the summer turned out OK; it wasn't that great, but it wasn't a flop. I believe the M&M Mutt brothers were heading on the right track and bringing us longs at the time with them, but then greed got a hold of them and they started to transform into complete scoundrels...and now they got caught and investors are paying or have already paid the price. But don't forget those who knew when to walk away or flip this and made some serious $ on this. So not all were played. Many were players and hats off to them. I would some day like to say "hats off" to those that stuck through it, but I still do not see any light at the end of this tragic tunnel.
I have a tendency to speak/write my mind, so I'm allowed only 1 post a day and post about once per week. Too much BS both for and against for me to follow day to day. So I drop in once in a while and keep my focus on other more reputable companies/investments. Hopefully, this one won't get deleted, and I'm not sure why it would except for it me. No personal reference or attacks to posters and it's on topic.
GLTA
MoveOn...but not before the fat lady does her thing.
Wow, where have you been? Obviously you weren't here through the madness of June and September. Your list of management blunders is only the ships view of the iceburgh. I totally agree and I speak for most on this board with a $ interest. This recent development may be the beginning of the end...for management, not the company. GLTY.
No kidding, all pennies are high risk. What's your poiint???
Oh, sorry. I don't have time nor the desire to dig that deep in these posts. Just trying to keep it real.
20% is not significant for a stock that traded between 0 and 20% and nothing in between. Now hypothetically, if it was up say .0010 from a previous day close of .0050, that is significant. See my point. Not trying to burst your bubble, but come on, it's up one tick, that's it and it will just as easily be down a tick, or "20%" the next time it trades. Just keeping it real...nothing to celebrate as a 20% increase...just that it closed up 1 tick.
It's always the shorts when things are going south....PUHLEEZE! Get with it and stop the nonsense. People are selling because they are losing confidence; it has nothing to do with shorting this stock. That's the IHUB traditional excuse/reason and I'm tired of people throwing that out there as if it's a real event. Get and stay real for goodness sake.
Without digging into all the posts because I presume you know...., who promised news this week? I see nothing in the official PR's listed on the brokerage pages where the CEO mentions that he or his company will have an update on "Monday or Tuesday" before Christmas.
Long and not nearly as strong thank goodness. Got out most of my investment when things turned south in September.
Glad to see you're keeping the optimism going. I stop by every once in a while to see what's shaking and finally maybe all the bad fruit (wish it was the current management) may have been shaken off and the tree is starting to grow new fruit. I got sick from this fruit so I walked away anf got healthy. This company's management and their shanagan's were making me throw up. Pardon the analogy.
Only allowed one post because I speak/type my mind. I just have to learn to keep it subjective, but you know how boards and pps have an emotional affect.
GLTA who are still hoping for that miracle. Merry Christmas.
Not at all, and I'm not trying to save anyone either. People who post on these boards and play in pennies know the games...or they better if they want to be profitable.
I follow a number of stocks and boards to see when it time to get back in on a particular stock and I'm just saying, this is not one of them. Take it for what it's worth....I know, "ain't woth a crap"....then continue to average down.
All I can say is OUCH! Win some lose most in pennies. What intrigued me the most in your post is why you bought more on the 3rd, after the pittiful and telling shareholder meeting/update?
the update was bad news!
Famous last words....
Glad I MovedOn on at .017. I still have yet to see any bright future with this company. The industry, yes, this guy, no-way.
Yes, buying is limited and the sell off is over. Some brokers are not allowing buys for this stock. I'd like to buy a little more, but I'm stuck for the time being and don't feel it as necessary at this time to find a new broker just to buy more.
Maybe SPNG is not a scam? Many would certainly beg to differ, just go on that board for a check and you'll see. I've been there and a part of that fiasco since May. Got out the majority of my investment in time and riding some free shares with that one. What drama; that one will go in the record books regardless how it finally plays out.
I don't think HESG is a scam, but just too volatile for these broker's taste. Maybe the PPS has something to do with it too.
No kidding. This has been a failed broken record. Enough is enough on the NSS, MOASS and $1.00 pps. Come on! I still hold a few shares and like 1/2 of us here on this board still want this to turn out good, but keep it real and stop feeding the bottom feeders.
I think GolfAnyone has had the best potential take on this whole sucky deal. I still see product on the shelves and the clerks still say they are moving them, that is the only DD I can accept at this time because I know it's fact. I don't have to hear it from anyone else except the unbiased clerks. Now whether management are crooks or not, is the real question. The products and technology are not a scam, both are viable and tangible with plenty of potential. It's just a matter if the management are as greedy and misleading as they appear to be. Time will tell since other hands are now sitting at the table. The cards have been dealt and it's now a question of when they will have to lay them down. We are all just spectators in this sh+tty game. Most with some finacial stakes, others with nothing better to do.
there sure has been ALOT of SELLS today at 6 & 7
Looks like who ever created that shareholders list, needs to get it revised. I'd say it's way outdated now just after 1-2 trading days sorry to say. I'm sure most jumped rowboat.
Wow, thanks for the info. I'll certainly take your word for it and sell all my shares. Thanks for all your help. I'm so glad and lucky I have people like you to trust with my investments.
Not trying to be mean, just looking for some justification to go with those statements. Hearing something from another board and then learning it was based on some web-dweeb-guy named "Frank" doesn't cut it.
Sounds like she can take care of herself anyway.
OK fine, wherever. It appears you believe it since you posted it as if it was your own. Do you? I'm just looking for some input from someone who appears to have been here a while....well longer than I have.
and your basing this on what you got from another board????
Really, I do hope it's true, but come on. So many people get sucked into these boards. People need to remember that feelings aren't fact.
Why are you and a select few so high and almighty on the candy cigs? What's wrong with them if they sell. I recall seeing candy ciigs as a kid and if you blew hard enough, you could get them to smoke (some kind of sugar powder). My parents weren't smokers and didn't care even though they did not like cigs.
I find it just amazing what you guys dig up and spin to now try and discredit Marvel's decision making, of all comapanies. Just my take and not a personal attack.
Hope your health is OK or better since the last time we conversed. I've been banned to 1 post a day and saved it for you. Take that as a compliment Hasher.
