Putting more pressure on the FDA which is good.
And again, to reiterate what has already been beaten to death over and over, this could all be simply solved with labeling instructions.
As Elite continues to work again on reformulation in order to satisfy the powers that be, maybe the more pressing issue is peoples lives. There is a solution to a better reformulation of SequestOx and Elite will arrive at that solution, of that I have no doubt. It comes at the price of time more than money.
In the meantime abuse will continue at a crazy pace and folks will die. All when the FDA could have stepped in and could have done something already.
The more pain docs know what could be available to them the better. Let the pressure continue to build.
I am also in cleaning mode. Scarfed up 20K. Early retirement still on the table.
Thanks for that N2K.
Long term partnership with SunGen will possibly add massive value to this
pipeline of Elite's.
Pipelines pipelines.... every pharmaceutical is looking for a pipeline to sink their teeth into. Cost much less to acquire a company then it does to develop a new drug or delivery platform for that drug.
Pharmaceutical companies are cutting cost by reducing testing, finding more efficient means by which to package their drugs for more flexible uses
and reducing R&D expenses. Also by doing more with less employees. Buying companies with large lucrative pipelines and novel delivery/technology is better for big pharma. Let the little pharmas do the leg work then buy them up.
Elite will just need to execute a few of these platforms, then the share price goes up exponentially. Just my opinion.
Lasers, the warning letters (483s) should go away. Is there usually a waiting period before they are cleared by the FDA? And do you happen to know the approximate length of time, ball parking it.
TIA
Never say never. Thalidomide was on the market in the mid 1950s, was found to cause birth defects such as malformed limbs. It was banned in November of 1961 due to public pressure to get it off the market. Now it is back on the market used for multiple myeloma in combination with dexamethasone along with other drugs.
Other uses for thalidomide are for tuberculosis and graft versus host disease.
Just because heroin is a readily abused street drug, it does not mean that there may not be medical uses for it, just as there are medical uses for marijuana and its derivatives. Everyone should keep an open mind to the possible medical uses of such drugs in my opinion. These street drugs have been around for thousands of years and many people native to areas where they are found have used these drugs for centuries.
Takes time.
Let's stop the leakers! LOL
Could be some buyers just stepped up to the plate and saw a VERY good buy.
More products equals more testing as per the analytical chemist position.
Not just finished product but commercial stability for ambient and accelerated 40C stability of products at different time stations up to 24 month. 36 month usually used for informational purposes only since product has a shelf life of 24 months.
Someone started to buy. Congrats to those who bought in the $0.09 range through the $0.10 range.
Getting some cheapies tomorrow. 11 cents is not a bad buy in my opinion.
When Elite is 15 cents people will be wishing they bought some here.
Percocet approval will be huge for the company. Even a 1% market penetration will give Elite the revenues it lost from naltrexone/methadone plus more. That is only a 1% market penetration.
Projectile vomit no less...... LOL
So the Chinese version of an FDA agency is just as thorough as the US FDA?
Not likely........ they often over look things the US and EU do not.
In the US they have to watch themselves... in China not so much.
Elite STILL has the best ADF developed by anyone.
Not me... Buying/Owning ELTP shares does not interest me... It's my altruistic nature to hang out on this board 24 X 7 trash talking ELTP solely to protect other investors from losing money. LOL!!!
YES Conix... BUY, HOLD, and ACCUMLATE rather than dump right before news and chase it up trying to get back in.
And this is all with money I can afford to lose too.
Eventually I will take my profit and do what Dr Pete Rose did....
let the rest ride Bode ride..... for Eldorado.....
At this point just get on base.
whatever you wish to think..........
Lasers... nobody noticed... yet. Good post.
Oh... it IS understood. Always has been.
First Elite would never get any patents. Elite has quite a few right now including Canada and the EU.
Then Elite's technology was run again technology. WRONG! It is a stand alone technology some other pharmaceutical poo pooed at a time when said pharmaceutical could have probably wooed it from Elite for next to nothing. Their mistake and their LOSS is Elite's gain.
OxyContin came out and that was supposed to be a game changer. The formulation to turn the fortunes of a certain pharmaceutical around to becoming even more dominant. Laughable at best. Never happened. Abuse proof NOT! Easily abused YES! Next!
Then there was Pfizer's attempt at an ADF. Single beaded job that STILL
isn't marketed. Wonder what's holding them up? And it got approval too.
Maybe Pfizer just doesn't want to deal with the liability issues because their formulation is questionable? I dunno....... have to ask Pfizer... what up wit dat sheet?
Elite STILL has the best ADF developed by anyone. It has been proven safe to use and effective. 163 patient study is proof. Even this past study no adverse effects.
Aside from their ADF opioids Elite is now expanding their portfolio to include lesser produced generics which garner a very lucrative amount of sales in the US.
Believe me.... IT is ALL understood very well.
OR we may be fortunate enough to buy this gem at $0.14 ride it up to
$0.18 and sell before a bigger run to $0.97 and miss the run completely. LMAO!
So this SunGen Pharma seems to be making quite a few agreements with Elite
lately. Lucrative agreements at that.
Do not care that this is not a "Big Pharma". Dr Huang like Nasrat with Elite going for generics of a different nature.
Oh... to all of those who said generics were a thing of the past and will not make much money..... how much does promethazine HCL injection go for these days? Anyone? Promethazine injection is on the FDA shortage list.
Lots of different generics still make lots of money.
But Nasrat threw in the towel Couch.
Did anyone ever notice the word "pause".
Good post.
Apples and more apples..... IR opioids. The API is what is the key here.
Naltrexone is sequestered.
Tell that to the people who bought, held, and accumulated Netflix.
Tell them that was a worthless strategy. LMMFAO!
Tell those who traded and didn't hold what they are holding now.
They are holding NOTHING.......
Yes.... it means it is still a simple labeling issue. FDA doesn't seem to have problems with other opioids known to have the same problem.
163 persons BE for SequestOx. Point out the adverse effects please.
I'll be waiting.......
Couch, a trade could get us happy meals at Mickey Dees. I hear the minion toys are all the rage.
I don't touch my regular account, but if news does come I will sell some on my Roth, wait for the retrace and buy more for my Roth.
Hoping for the ANDA to be announced. OxyCotton.... as DEMs used to say.
Dems were da daze........
Thanks for the heads up conix. The only shares I will be willing to trade right now reside in my Roth.
Sold out means folks are holding tight. As a friend used to say... strong hands hold weak hands sell.
We await news. Perhaps the ANDA we all hope for......
Or approval of an anticipated ANDA previously submitted.
Until an ER or IR (which isn't going to happen) actually is approved by the FDA the tech is not validated for commercial suitability.
Been hearing that misinformation for a while now.
Anda filings don't = approval. We were told 10 months see it's already 12 and nothing. I said 47 months average time for generic approvals.
See ya! Good luck to you as well.
Not looking good folks. A lot of head wind and competition
Purdue WAS big everywhere. Prescription opioid drug abuse is changing
the landscape and ALL Purdue has is their "tamper resistant" proprietary
(was proprietary) run again technology. So antiquated. So yesterday.
And Purdue cannot even take advantage of being the sole provider. FDA will not let them.
Tell us again how viable Purdue is.
My bet is that Purdue will end up being sold by the family when prifits begin to drop like a lead balloon. They will be an after thought.
Red eye guy.... nice to see you here.
So we STILL have people expecting an approval every quarter despite the fact that that has not happened since Nasrat suggested that frequency.
$200 will get a person 20000 shares at 1 cent a share.
So Maz, you and John think Elite will tank that much... do ya?
Seems to be pretty clear to me. And I do remember NH saying this during the CC.
And said person has been published in med journals... so he says.
JAMA does not have a prereq for math skills.
EXACTAMUNDO! Very similar to what Lasers had postulated right after the PR
was released.
Sounds logical to most. Market definitely over reacted possibly not understanding the true context of the PR.
Lasers... great minds think alike.
Who cares what the CEo has to say
On another note.... the prescription opioid CRISIS.
http://www.cbsnews.com/opioid-epidemic/
Fake news, eh? It's as real as it gets.
~26% of the shares OS. Who holds the rest? Share holders and the like.
