Okay Lasers... I'll bite.
Chinese gov't would accept $ELTP's SequestOx Phase3 163 person bunionectomy successful data with zero adverse events conducted in the USA as proof that SequestOx has fully proven safety and efficacy.
And with SenGen in the picture one has to wonder what possible platform
technology could they hold that would compliment Elite's current portfolio
of generics.
Now enter the market in China of which Dr. Huang is well aware of. Nasrat also aware of this potential.
Hmmmmmmm
Big development.
Jim, how do you know that the elite version cannot be abused?
It is quite clear that they do NOT intend to pay for generics of Oxycontin
Hi PeteRose, Purdue is not going to give up OxyContin as a labeled product, this is their billion dollar baby. Elite on the other hand, should they get approval of their OxyContin ANDA will be able to enter Purdue's space in this market as a generic. Elite may be able to press Purdue out OR Purdue may have to cut their cost to consumers in order to stay competitive. However this works out, Purdue may have to sue Elite in a desperation move. Do not see Purdue winning, the FDA wants
other pharmaceuticals to make OxyContin because Pusrdue has a monopoly on this formulation which is not the answer to the problem, but is the only FDA approved TAMPER resistant oxy formulation out there.
Elite's formulation SequestOx is the only abuse deterrent formulation out there. Tamper resistant is not going to be good enough.
Really? Is that so?
It is quite clear that they do NOT intend to pay for generics of Oxycontin
In other news no comment on Cigna’s new policy from Purdue
No problem.... anytime Doc.
Ouch that does hurt Purdue. And what it says to Purdue is that this insurer
is tired of getting hosed by branded prices.
Wonder what the courts will do when companies like Elite get OxyContin generics on the market lowering prices Purdue used to charge folks?
What in the world can Purdue hope to accomplish by suing Elite?
It will just end up being a waste of legal defense money on Purdue's part.
Not looking too good for Purdue right now. If they weren't privately held and were a publicly traded company I would cash my Purdue stock and run for the hills.
Purdue is going down in the very near future. Mark this post.
Affirmative Lasers.
Agree Couch, VERY undervalued. Just look at NASDAQ's pipeline post.
Big pharmas will be salivating very soon at this pipeline.
Lots going on at little teeny Elite.
Elite is super close tp having enough revenue to cover all until
the big ANDAs come in.
I heard BK, RS, and Elite will never have enough money for a phase 3 trial
NBC Boston Anchor Brian Shactman hosts a look at the opioid crisis in New England. "Overdosed, New England Fights Back" airs Thursday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
(Published Friday, Sept. 29, 2017)
NBC Boston will air a half-hour special, "Overdosed, New England Fights Back," on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
The program will focus on the opioid-related death rate in New England, its effects on families and the community, and will also highlight what organizations and leaders, including police chiefs, medical professionals, school superintendents, social workers, parents and victims, are doing to fight back.
"Overdosed, New England Fights Back," will also deliver information and resources to help empower families and individuals to take a stand against the opioid crisis and get the help they need.
Brian Shactman, news anchor for NBC Boston and host of "Overdosed, New England Fights Back" is dedicated to showcasing local heroes in our community fighting this crisis,
"As a journalist, this is the most important story in our communities - without question," Shactman said. "Personally, as a father of three, I am frightened by what’s happening. During a post-overdose visit to the home of a mother whose daughter is still struggling with opioid addiction, I asked an officer from the Plymouth Police Department why he was doing this. His response: 'Because I am sick of administering Narcan all the time and bringing these kids back from death.'"
With the Massachusetts death rate surpassing the national average and every community in New England being impacted by this growing crisis, NBC Boston’s in-depth special "Overdosed, New England Fights Back" opens the conversation with police chiefs, medical professionals, school administrators, teachers, social workers, community leaders, parents and victims, who have all had enough and are now joining the fight against the opioid epidemic.
The program will explore the facets of their efforts that are working, from hospitals trying new medical treatments, to prisons treating addicted inmates with innovative care, and it will empower parents to engage with all children on the risks associated with opioids and how to make good choices.
"The numbers don’t tell the whole story," said Maggie Baxter, vice president of programming for NBC Boston. "The opioid epidemic is affecting entire families, workplaces, and our whole community. It is now our duty to take a stand and fight back. All of us at NBC Boston hope that 'Overdosed, New England Fights Back' helps to empower families and individuals that are facing this crisis to stand up and get the help
Always a pleasure to read your posts N2K.
So over 13 months and could possibly be resolved between now and god knows how long.
Not only is illegal to post/share inside information on a public forum
Kenn could do some serious jail time.
Very stupid of this person, Kenn, to say anything if indeed he did say anything. Really dumb.
PMCB IR should take note of this message board and any posts regarding this matter should be looked into right away.
Interestingly my place of work deals with nothing but generics. Competitors that sell what we sell are growing. The FDA hasn't stopped them. In fact, the competition has grown so much that we now have to differentiate ourselves in what we manufacture and sell. Both in a form of use and in other forms others do not go into because of cost to get there.
It is funny to think that the FDA would stop approvals and tilt competition
so that there are monopolies of only a few pharmaceuticals making these types of narcotics.
And for that reason the FDA can never slant their approvals toward the few. That would be favoritism.
I agree Couch.... just funny as hell how some try to keep Elite SP down with a lack of understanding and common sense.
Seriously? Drug supply limits to offset epidemic? Partnerships? WTF?
Some patients need their once a day for relief.
Limits on supply is a band aide approach, this will not solve anything. In fact it will just make more people miserable and Docs less able to address pain management.
Limiting supply punishes those patients who deal with daily pain and need relief. This is a bullshit fix to a growing problem.
Guess people in pain should start seeking alternatives like Canada to get their pain relief meds.
Who thinks up this garbage? Between this and the bloom in addiction centers it is easy to see where the thought process is here.....
the thought process is nowhere.
Keep thinking boys and girls. There is a simple solution out there that can be fixed with labeling. It's called SequestOx.
Hi PeteRose, I would like to tell this board that the one thing Chris Christie is getting right in New Jersey is the prescription opioid crisis. He is calling attention to this nationwide problem as a more than an epidemic or crisis.
He is the one person I thought I would never see as such a strong advocate of dealing with this national emergency. Think he is aware of Elite and what this small pharmaceutical in NJ has to help as a permanent stop gap to this nationwide state of emergency? He does.
Maybe he can capture the Donald's ear again and tell Trump about Elite.
I mean if this is such a theoretical problem then these committee members must not be living in the real world- BUT, guess what? They are REAL DOCS living in the real world
Elite is NOT going to make the API oxycodone. Much cheaper to buy it from an API manufacturer.
A generic version of OxyContin will be cheaper than the labeled Purdue version. OxyContin is just the name of the tamper resistant version of oxycodone. The formulation name Purdue gave it.
Yeah just like the claim that Purdue had all the patents on what is now
Elite's ADF.
And just like the claim that Purdue thinks Elite's PIP is junk and will never take market share from Purdue.
Generic OxyContin is just the tip of the iceberg, Once SequestOx gets approval there will be another hit on Purdue's tamper deterrent opioid.
Market share is slowly going bye bye. LMFAO!
FYI
Oxycodone is the active pharmaceutical ingredient. OxyContin is the name for the tamper resistant formulation.
Well, Purdue has tried to corner every aspect of the oxycodone market including suing those who manufacture oxycodone HCL.
BTW, their lawsuit against Epic did not hold much water. So Epic continues
to manufacture Oxycodone.
This is key for Elite. The FDA has stated that it wants generic manufacturers of OxyContin out there. Purdue has tried to monopolized this formulation and the government is not taking lightly to it.
See Purdue in court. They have to try to defend their market share.
Poor Purdue.
More PIP more value added to the company. Think Big pharma is working on anything like this? Not a chance. Big pharma looks for pipelines and potential takeover targets that acquire new technologies. Why waste money on R&D when another can do your work for you spending their money? LOL
Lasers, what technology could Elite and SunGen be working on that could be construed as a platform unto itself? Guess we will see...........
This patent I consider to do with a more refined ADF.
Thanks for this. Nice.
(after expensive legal battle for Oxy
Pete, am hopeful that PMCB is not super close so I can grab more, but cannot stop what is meant to be. If it happens that way I am not totally out of the picture. Would love to have a couple of hundred thousand shares in my regular account and Roth account.
It is like playing the horses Pete. I marked today at Belmont down, did my
usual scouting Saturday night. Saw that William Mott had a horse in each
of 4 races. Also saw Nik Juarez was riding Fortune Cookie in the 2nd race.
Mott is usually a turf guy, but this particular horse didn't have such a good outing on turf the race before, so Mott switches the horse to a sprint on dirt. Fortune Cookie came in first. Paid $14.80 to win and $6.90 to place. Nice little hit if one played this horse for $10 to win/place.
Race 4 had another Mott horse riden by Jose Lezcano which also came in 1st. It too was switched to a sprint on dirt which upped the odds.
Paid $29.00 to win and $13.20 to place. Another nice hit if one played this
horse to win/place.
So I did not play these horses today because I feel I am getting addicted
to horse racing...... too bad for me. Today would have been my day.
My point to all of this is this: if one is in the right place at the right time with a bet on the right horse one can come out in fantastic shape. Mott the trainer won 3 races at Belmont today. Mott was hot.
PMCB is a horse I want more money in. I feel that this company and its delivery technology are going to be groundbreaking in many areas.
The other moral to this horse story is if you haven't bet the race how can you possibly win? You cannot possibly win. Currently I am in the PMCB
horse race, just do not have the positions I would like to have. Hopeful that changes soon.
All the best to you PMCB longs!
Not if it happens..... it is when it happens. This horse is like the Mott horses. Great trainer with a few good jockeys running on the right
medium.
JJ
Pete and you PMCB longs, have not been keeping up with any events PMCB wise, but have skimmed through this excellent message board and pretty much come up to speed.
So much that this delivery CiaB can be used for. Everything from inoperable pancreatic cancer to diabetes to generation of follicular hair.
Wow.
Thanks for posting the URL for the CiaB being the gold standard Pete.
Dr Lohr said it years ago. This is a new and exciting type of delivery that can in and of itself become a game changer.
Still have a modest position, still waiting for another to pop. When it does I'll be able to grab a bunch more PMCB.
That being the case with acetaminophen and if a pharmaceutical had not
manufactured this type of formulation before I can see where the FDA
may have controlled storage (both temp and humidity) concerns for the API.
Thanks, that was very informative.
Lasers, with acetaminophen as the common denominator I just figured Percocet gets approval followed by Norco. The difference in opioids
should not make much difference. Like the ADFs, one gets approval the next should be easier.
Did not know about storage issues Lasers. Thank you.
Yeah... I hear you. And they scoffed at Jazz Pharmaceutical too.
Stay tuned.......
But but but Elite will soon be a 2 cent or sub penny stock Couch. LMMFAO!
They why is it not approved?????
Sorry, not part of an independent study. It was a BE study as part of an FDA requirement. Everything was good. No mishaps nor were their any concerns.
This was submitted to the FDA as part of BE requirements.
Elite is not bat shit crazy to think SequestOx will be approved. 163 person bunionectomy proved that it is safe despite what people ate.
This is all please jump through one more hoop please,, and that is all it is.
SequestOx despite what some have said on this message board never was dead.
Not by a longshot.
Not when all that was needed was a labeling.
SequestOx will come.
Percocet, and Norco are all Elite needs for the moment. Once approved it will be the OxyContin NDA to watch. BE studies already done and successful.
thinly traded with puny revenues and massive losses
Very possible tenor.
