So... Good observation and Not so good. My order yesterday was for the CBD Collection. I ordered it as soon as possible because my mind told me product like that is flying off the shelf. My order filled. Yay Me! BUT, today im looking at the shop, and there is no more CBD collections for sale! Great for investors. Revenue. Sucks for that patient who went on to order the collection today. There are still a few CBD strains available in the shop. No worries there. But it seems there just isnt enough!
Lets use the Coca Cola analogy. If that was your drink, and it wasnt available when you wanted to purchase, wouldnt you be cheesmo? Replace Coca-Cola with any high demand product, or medicine.
Tweed Farms needs to open up production. Im starting to think the farm wont be enough to even keep up with RecMj demand
Volcano vaporizers ($684 Retail) in Tweed shop SOLD OUT! Wow!

Hi.
Our sister company, Bedrocan Canada has started a petition in Parliament to have the tax removed from medical cannabis.
We need your help to have this unfair tax burden removed from every single one of your purchases.

Ya, I picked that up. Like I said, I agree with the sentiments about the difficulties of accessing the MMpR. Just take Mandy Mc knights case for example. She could hv easily gone to a dispensary for extracts.
Where I call bs is the claim that LP product is lower quality.
Nd the days not over yet...
Order #6795- feb 17. Late evening.
More. My first order was mid day.
Second, late evening.
There is steady growth. Just look at the hiring. More customer service reps.
Mmpr sucks. CGC rocks !
Reading the online Twitter nd Facebook comments, there are some disgruntled customers, and that's too bad, cause it's good to provide great service to each call.
Absolutely
Order # 6787- Feb 17, 2016
Fina-ufkin-ly!
The MMPR is a spiders web of red tape! I did not enjoy the experience AT ALL. I completely agree with the sentiments about the difficulties getting registered. Even with medical documents, there are far too many hurdles. Lp's are really taking the lions share by having to follow regulations dispensaries don't. Straight BS!
With that said, I'm Very happy to be through the gauntlet. Top quality, legal, ordering was hassle free on my smart phone. I certainly hope it only gets better from here.
Go CGC!
There haven't been ANY Bedrocan strains in the Tweed shop for weeks. At least not since they Announced True Compassionate Pricing.
C TWeeds Updated Landing Page. Snooooooooooop!. Its nice to see Tweed making moves.
Let the speculation continue:
when will Canada Legalize Cannabis? Within the next 4 years :
y / n ?
If Yes; how many shares can you invest in CGC before then?
If No; Shoot, I dont know either.
Absolutely. I just don't intend to sell on a pop. And I like that the prices are slightly depressed until the Government gets their acts together, with med and rec. Buying time, literally. This is a great opportunity.
Am I selfish to say I hope there is no big pop from this? Unless there is great buying pressure. It's great news. Great PR. Not that surprising cause the Board at Tweed are geniuses not resting on their Laurels. Always on the forefront.
I'm hoping for a slow and steady rise on proven fundamentals, rather than crazy pops and recessions. I'm selfishly hoping for enough time to continue buying shares at these prices.
I'll be traveling pretty soon, so I wanted to put in my order before I go , cause delivery is ONLY to home address on file, and signed pickup to addressee. Restrictions Abound
. Ive had such a frustrating time with the BodyStream Clinic that other than the $0 cost, it would be very difficult to recommend them as a Clinic. Yesterday Tweed Called me, they had gotten the wrong birthdate from the clinic on my file. Another delay. The amount of clerical errors or lost faxes I've had to resend to have corrected is ridiculous. Time well wasted though.
Most Lp's seem to be retailing the same Vaporizers. I too prefer Rice, or Hemp Paper Joints though.
On another note. The page is approaching 30K messages. Whos the lucky bastard to get it! Probably you. Make it count!
Yes, something like 20%. With that said, sold out Vaporizers could indicate an steady flow or an increase in patient uptake. All those vaporizers that were listed as inventory are now listed in sales revenue. The manufacturer must be stoked at having to keep up with new orders.
Im not too excited about it either. Personal choice. Im no Hipster. I guess Tweed will know the benefit of the Program based on Interaction. What I read between those lines though is : Tweed is/ or will be gearing towards Pop Culture/RecMj, and Bed will focus on Medical Applications.
I wonder If we could facilitate something from Canada to get some T-Shirts to US investors interested?
The Arizer Air on Tweedmerch.com is now sold out. The listed price is $274. I believe new registrants get some sort of discount. Good Signs
http://tweedmerch.com/collections/all
Need ruling on Allard to straighten out all the unregulated dispensaries. The double standard is glaringly obvious and I'm sure the government is going to ensure there is a level field. I wonder why the courts haven't ruled yet? Are they waiting on Trudeau to legalize? Is Trudeau waiting on them to rule? Court Cases are the bane of any investment.
CGC is Boss. But there's a subtle present reality. More Dr's are authorizing Cannabis use in extract form. If those patients can't access extracts right now, Tweed or Bedrocan are leaving sales on the table for patient clients, and outright losing sign ups from new registrants that won't wait. So it's still the sooner the better. Nah?
I'm sure CGC boards of directors are saying the same thing. Almost a full quarter since it was "expected". It was mentioned in the last quarterly conference call. I hope it doesn't go that far again. I also hope this is strictly a HC being over burdened with applications and not a CGC compliance issue.
I was asked a while back wether going through the relentless MMPR regulations was worth the effort , when Street Cannabis is so readily available. Well after the long process, my answer is still the same and unequivocally reassured. Yes, it is worth it. Medicine needs and deserves 100% accountability. And so does RecMj for that matter. I now have the ability to dial up or down my THC /CBD intake with certainty according to affectiveness. No longer have to compromise personal freedoms to access Cannabis... And the list goes on. Like Jordan Sinclair pointed out, ~37k MMAR in the past decade. ~40k Mmpr in under 2 years. The patients will tell their own stories. I do wish the process was less cumbersome , but the process, with its faults does work.
Really, I don't know. speculation. I think big Money is holding their cards.
Couldn't they just buy the licenses? Buy the cash strapped companies?
CGC can be "A" Phillip Morris, but that huge Conglomerate is still there ready to go toe to toe with any other in the industry. CGC right now does have what it takes to not only grow, but compete and continue to dominate in the industry.
In my opinion, the Capital Expenditures are the touchy subject. 12 grow rooms at smith falls, room for 18 more. Plus whatever infrastructure and Human resources increases to meet demand. It seems like a lot of folks cry on this board whenever CGC drops a dime on growth. I can almost guarantee Phillip Morris investors wouldn't bat an eye if they invested NASA Money to get into, compete and try to dominate the Legal Rec Mj market in Canada and wherever else for that matter.
I think at this point, the Big Elephants need to be considered. Phillip Morris and their likes have been sitting on Capital and watching the game from the sidelines, ready do take a dominant position in whichever way they can. If/When Legalization opens up for more producers, that is when a corporation like CGC with diverse holdings will have to start punching above its weight. I can only imagine, with big tobacco already having the close infrastructure necessary for production, that they would be formidable competition, not to be taken lightly.
All Bedrocan Varieties in Tweed.com shop are sold out. "Only" 20 Tweed strains available...
I'm going to assume that the clinics, if they are private entities, with out contractual obligations to any specific LP, can recommend whomever they choose, that they are not obligated. Who they do "recommend" may be a condition of whatever ongoing relationship or lack thereof between the two.
Wasn't this topic the grounds for Tilrays disgruntled withdrawal from the LP Union ? The question of kickbacks being paid for patient referrals? Can there be some expectation that a clinic has some sort of financial benefit for volumes of patients referred? Or is this a conflict of interest?
I agree. I will do just that when I place my order. At least get some Tweed or Bedrocan labels in the lobby.
Sure . There's probably some below the surface stuff going on there that isn't fully apparent. It may have be an off the top name from the medical office assistant, or a clear bias. Who knows. The reason I chose this clinic is the zero cost process. Many other clinics charge a few hundred dollars, with no guarantees. Other than provincial healthcare coverage, the clinics may be receiving processing fees for documents from Lp's also. Plus, with a prescription for extracts, a CGC company doesn't seem like the go to recommendation right now.
No, no, no! Better by Tweed isn't a clinic. I went there to register and inquire into the Mmpr. I was then referred to a "clinic" that has GP's that writes scrips for MMJ. That Clinic had Mettrum hemp products and labelling inside, and there were referrals to Mettrum when patients got their scrips and it then has to be faxed out to an LP of their choice.
The Doctor himself was fairly easy going. Only 15-20 minute skype conference evaluation. He had my files prior to my appointment. It was the clinic that was fudging up. Taking weeks to respond to emails and calls. Losing faxes and documents along the way. Between registering with Better by Tweed and The GP appointment was 90% wasted time imo. For example, they weren't allowed to accept any documents via email, although that was their main method of communication. Everything had to be fax or snail mail.
Finally got my prescription yesterday. I must say, the MMPR regulatory hurdles are the MAJOR obstacle in this industry, and the reason why the Street and Grey Dispensary Market Flourish. Only through persistence do I think I got through.
I Approached Better By Tweed two months ago, and the time lapsed since then has been mired in Beurocracy. It takes me less than 15 minutes to Renew my Codeine prescription... Over two months just to see a Dr for Cannabis. Mind you, this experience is my own, and I cannot claim it typical, but the patient numbers and revenue vs street and dispensary markets are telling.
Better by Tweed is doing its job up to the point where it has jurisdiction. The Government Regulations are painstaking. Like an international boarder crossing after 9/11.
So at the clinic, other patients were getting their scrips and asking about which Lp to register with. Reception routinely recommended Mettrum ( who had a few hemp edible products inside on display, perhaps donated, or perhaps Mettrum has a sponsorship relationship ) , and Tweed. Otherwise patients were directed to Health Canada's List of LP's.
Half My scrip is for Oils... Tweed has No oil sale licence. Bedrocan has none either. I can only guess how much revenue is being lost at this point due to this imbalance. I will wait and be patient, but who else would? I wonder how many new or old patients are going to other LP's or dispensaries because of this.
I think these things will be ironed out in time. But it seems it's the the investors who are paying for this long wait, while patients with a CGC LP are being asked to wait a little bit longer too.

How Canada can ensure legalized pot trumps the black market
I think we all need to STOP and smell the Budds right here. !!
The leader of the formal Government Opposition, the former Harper Cons, the Anti-Cannabis, worse than tobacco, no medicinal benefit party is now promoting expeditious Recreational Regulation! ...
The debate in parliament will not be wether or not , but how and when, and the sooner the better from all parties. The Opposition will support tough regulations, perhaps those right inline with the regime they produced in the MMPR.
Stranger than fiction now is that the only clear opposition now is from the MMAR and dispensary zealotry, as if Legal Rec MJ is all of Canada is somehow bad for Cannabis Culture? Get the F outa here with that BS
Canada will withdraw from the treaties or amend their positions to legalize MJ. It will take legal drafting and beurocratic boring stuff that people will only get excited about when its reported or complete.
The treaties and consultations with the provincial governments about regulations and distributions are the only files left, nd six figure MP's are working on it everyday with their hired public service employees.
The train has left the station. It's on it's way. Rolling slowly because there is no map for the tracks. But it IS moving. Patience is an investors best friend, second only to financials. If the hard numbers look good, just wait for real party to start.
Remember this time last year when this was all huge speculation? It's almost unimaginable the difference between then and now. Investors are at the toe of a new industry that has exponential potential.
Hey buddy, who's the everyone your making this public service announcement to? Really Awesome... This is not an activist forum. Your audience isn't here. Try lift cannabis , or cannabis Canada. A lot more head nodders over there.
I hope u keep growing your own , if that makes u happy. Just note, all product sold to the public in this Country you call home, from tomatoes to Cannabis, will be traded under a regulated nd taxable system. These are basics. Even Garage sales have rules nd regulations. These are basic. Grow your own nx share with your team. Leave the Tonnage to the Lp's
Ya, your right. Nd I know. It takes time to develop a program that can stand up to the scrutiny of the citizenship for one, opposition parties for another, let alone the fact success is the only option. But! The Mmpr IS a solid foundation on which to build. It's an expansion rather than a reinvention.
I just don't want to see all this rhetoric about review and studies consultations that are never ending. We've already had a century of it. Did you see el chapo Guzman said he employed an entire fleet of submarines to transport product! One flick of the switch and seasons change. The end of an era
So really, if Lp's are doing it, and Unlicensed P's are doing it , successfully... What's the hold up on the Legal Rec Mj?
