He registered through NOLA to sell 1000000 of teco last week. NOLA (as I had posted through Reid bio from plff) is owned by Reid. I am not alarmed but it is something to keep an eye on if it happens again. Putting the plff bio here was only to illustrate that Reid owns NOLA. Correct me if I am wrong but is it common knowledge that Reid owns NOLA?
Do not get overly excited moo it is only a million shares, beer and hooker Money for the Belize crew at these prices. Don't forget they are drilling DOZENS of wells. I expecting at least 400 barrels a day by new years.
yes i understand what you say. selling personal shares would be openly negative. Many of the questions i pose will be negated if they can make Belize work. However until they cross that line i trust no one. Do i want to believe they will be successful? Sure I do. Do I trust that management will do the right thing for stakeholders? NOT YET
all i did was state a fact. and i probably have at least ten to twenty times more than you in this sir so spare me the lectures. all i had asked is this an arms length transaction, an insider trade or some other transaction. if you happen to have the answer then thank you. does anyone with knowledge of this type of transaction know how this is categorized?
The question to the board is if Treaty is so close to finding commercial quantities of oil in a couple weeks, why would a company run by Andrew Reid want to sell shares before it happens?
NOLA FINANCE REGISTERS TO SELL 1000000 shares treaty energy. As you can see below NOLA was started by Andrew Reid in 2006. Will this transaction if completed be registered as an insider sale? The info concerning the sale came out this past Sunday nite. See below the bio from Andrew Reid gotten from Orpheum properties..

The treaty pictures do look a bit like hydraulic fluid. I googled pictures of oil seeps. Most look like tar balls, dark black thick oil or bitumen. There was one pic of light crude that had a rainbow color but darker. What the pics tell me is all deposits have a different appearance to some degree. The treaty pics look like refined petroleum. It might explain why the oil can be put straight in tractors. That oil in quantity will make us all rich. Those seeps on Facebook appear new. Older seeps have an area of dried oil around the fresh stuff. Lets just hope those seeps are naturally occurring . If they are we will be golden.
I give them 3 to 5 yrs. I wanted them though to make all the right moves. The two rigs should have Been on the first transport, need to make the right moves when you are operating so far from home, I hope it does not continue that is all. Great companies anticipate the future roadblocks.
You all can do the math but if the two wells were producing a 100 barrels each a day the company would not be selling large blocks on a daily basis. There can be no other explanation for the continued selling. How can anyone say it adds value when you are blowing through money without making any. Having to send a crew back and fourth and back is how to lose money. It is great to have cheerleaders but at some point the limit is reached. Feel free to tell me I am wrong but I am getting off my chest what I want. It is 7 am and I want to scream but my children sleeping
I would agree it is most likely the company selling shares. The apparent miscalculations with the rig and whatever else is wrong is costing every shareholder. Mistake this large can cost a small company dearly. I just hope there are no more big screw ups. So far it is costing at least a months production. And this was a big screw up, believe me. I am long but I just can not tolerate screw ups of this magnitude. Now they are going to have to hit oil on the first well. I hold a large position and I am not afraid to call it as I see it. I am tired of cheerleading screw ups
Good question something must be wrong. If they are so close to a commercial find this would not be happening. Makes very little sense to me.
That trade done on purpose
You are 100% right
I have no idea what is taking do long
Yes we will see what happens when it happens
Kansas update
Would be a good idea soon of course if there is one
Great post . I hit the buzzer yesterday!
Cool you are best suited to send today's action to finra.
Junk has already admitted naked short selling happens. In fact it is legal. The way they bend the rule is that the market maker has to locate the shares in a "reasonable" amount of time. "reasonable " to a market maker can be never because it would be "unreasonable" to have to lose money. And you can not look to the sec. The sec works for the market makers not investors.
I think your point is debatable in that comparing s&p company to teco Is a stretch. While they are in the same business, with teco the capital investment is a tad bit closer to the investor wallet. Lack of communication at this stage would feed into short sellers hands. The company is doing very well with communication IMO
So what you are saying by too much exposure the oil dries up?
If the oil is seeping there must be some form of pressure sending it a couple thousand feet of ground? I am not familiar but common sense tells me that
Whomever does not own at a least a million shares here will be upset when this goes to a dollar. You can mark this post. Build your position at these prices you will be happy you did. The negative energy that has hung over this issue for over a decade is disappearing soon
Thank you blind the larger message for investors is that the probability of success is very high. All the company needs at this point is an environmental disaster or injuries/ deaths from being shortsighted . I do not understand the impatience of a few here.
Dozens of wells on 1st site alone. This is very interesting
Thanks bull will take a look at that.
Anything over 100 barrels a day would be news
Finally setting up for take off. There will be no looking back. This is finally a real deal. Good luck everyone there will be enough oil for all of us
agreed nice post. When they find oil the word gets around and the top blows off the stock. This is not on autopilot now. People are watching. Why do you think some of the new faces are here. It is not coincidence
American gasoline is subsidized by the government so it is less expensive. The American people want to do away with those subsidies so you will see what happens to the price when that is removed.
There may be shorts still in the money hedging short higher on the hope no oil is found
Facilitating liquidity=selling shares you do not yet own
I am from the Netherlands. American gasoline is still very inexpensive and will become more expensive long term not less
Need cash when the system fails. Who is going to want to in a stock like teco when gas 8.00 per litre
Whatever money you do not have in TECO keep it under your mattress.
This is an excellent long term play as a hedge against inflation
I thought the oil in Belize is low in sulpher. Where does that oil price in world markets?
Bull I tried to be nice by trying to find the half truth in the half truth. Glad to see someone pick up on that because that is all he writes
Junk I agree we might see a more realistic price if we hit in Belize.
