Interesting watch if you have nothing better to do:
Only one position had 10 applicants, the others didn't have any. But there may be other sources. My guess is it was a 30 day listing on Linkedin.
So it's anyone's best guess.
Not sure what you're trying to point out but this is unrelated. Six Sigma is a methodology. However it is most likely where the name b6sigma came from (beyond six sigma):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_sigma
Only problem is he's 102.
What's even better is it's recent!
You just gave me wood, wick.
"The 3D-printed nozzles are five times more durable than the previous model. 3D printing allowed engineers to use a simpler design that reduced the number of brazes and welds from 25 to just five."
I wonder why they need to have any brazes and welds at all? Most likely unimportant and I'm sure there's a good reason for it.
*clap clap clap*
Alan, will you adopt me? If not, I'll see is Cee-it will. I have a sneaking suspiscion he's related to (or is) Warren Buffet.
Right now my living room is only big enough for one person.
I think it's healthy to see all sides. This shouldn't turn into a battleground every time someone's views are different unless it's really off base and inaccurate.
THIS ISN'T SPARRRRRTAAAAAA!!!
I personally need a dose of negativity every now and again to keep me grounded, instead of this namby pamby we will all be rich crap. There have been some sayings that have been thrown around here, well here's another one:
"If it's too good to be true then it probably is."
So lets accept all sides and have a conversation instead of bashing. I think silversmith does pretty good with this and doesn't come across as condescending or rude.
And I believe alan's a genuine guy and has some relevant experience to bring to the table. It's quite possible his views have changed and he's allowed to change his mind.
OS shares, MCap, # of employees, time to market, etc are all certainly important. I'll keep reading, digesting and forming my own opinions.
Current mood: long and strong

Right on Yoda.
I've seen people flipping on less than pennies. Last year I recall someone commenting "50 bucks is 50 bucks" after buying SGLB, not seeing what he liked from a charts perspective then getting out minutes later. Then there will be those people with the red and green stock alerts programs. These are just people who don't care about the company, product or potential.
Look at the SA articles on DDD or ONVO, it's typically bull article followed by bear article, rinse and repeat. Then there's Andrew Left, Jim Cramer and other chuckleheads.
So we're up against a lot and I agree the next quarterly report should hopefully take us to the next level. I don't think new eyes or board members are enough to do it.
Still confident and long.
I should've went with my gut and plunked down 20k for this artificial rise. Not knowing technicals at all, it was pretty obvious we had a bit of a pump due to buyout rumors.
Oh well, I'm in no rush.

Jack did. Interested in hearing his thoughts. He seems to have a lot of industry experience.
Hopefully you stick it out and don't focus on the swings but if this is driving you nuts then you may want to sell at a point where you can break even.
My dad invested a couple hundred bucks at .21. It's a bit of money to him since he doesn't have a lot of disposable income. Not sure if he's still holding.
The important thing is to invest what you can afford to lose. If you believe in the company and you realize this is not a get rich quick scheme, then stick with it. If not, then pick a point at which you'll be OK with selling.
The day when we went from .19 down to .13 and back to .19 with 21 million shares traded shook me, but beyond that I've solidified my position and I'm done loading. I plan on selling some at $1 to get back my initial investment.
Best of luck to you.
I started 2 years ago. Vjet I got in at or near the IPO at 26 I think, out at 38.
I've seen SA articles affect stocks negatively and positively so swings based on a fluff piece wouldn't surprise me. I'm cautiously optimistic but since I'm in for the long haul I'm not affected by it.
Further to the buyout discussion, let me say that everyone has a price. It's possible that Greg Morris didn't want to sell but then he was made an offer he couldn't refuse.
I'm pretty happy either way. We'll see how it plays out.
Thanks for the details. I got into 3DAM about two years ago through a Motley Fool teaser. My first foray into investing. I got lucky and turned 50k into 135k (onvo, ddd, ssys, vjet, xone). Sold those positions last year. Put the gains and some of my own money into SGLB after finding mentions on twitter. Found Gary's site and made my first purchase at .06 after i saw they were in bed with GE. Unfortunately I only risked 10k (that's what I did with every investment) and I have averaged up since. I am almost out of the red now (-1.1% at 16.70).
In for the long haul with 600k shares (got loose hands last December and sold half but bought back in) and I'm not diversified enough. This will either make me rich or it'll set me back a few years. I'm OK with that.
Good luck to everyone with their decisions, positions and situations.
Yeah but many, including myself, don't think there will be. So if there is no buyout my feeling is we'll lose a lot of this momentum and gains. If there is a buyout, we all win however we may not see the full potential here.

Went SA pro first. If all of this activity is due to this (timings seem right) then we may end up losing a lot of these gains.
We'll see.
Buyout rumors / seeking alpha article supporting this premise.
Good point. Their first article was actually free to view then went pro after the fact.
Maybe 10k anticipation and/or 3/24 meeting anticipation?
Maybe he's thinking it's competiton? Lets wait for JJ to reply!
JJ, please stop with the personal attacks, it hurts :(.
I need a tissue but the only ones I can find have already been used.
Note to others: don't upset the almighty JJ, he doesn't understand parody and he'll try to dig up personal information and put it up on his blog.
IJJ went from passive aggressive monkey to pissed off girlfriend. I am sleeping with one eye open just in case he tries to cut off my winkydoo.
All hail JJ!
Read it on Reddit:
"We saved two babies’ lives with a 3D printer. Ask us anything!
http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/20q3uq/we_saved_two_babies_lives_with_a_3d_printer_ask/"
Not SGLB related but certainly 3D related and a cool story to boot.
Apologies if this is too far off-topic.
Oh you passive agressive little monkey! You and your stealth edits. In beta, in development, in production, etc are all quite important. A lot of this hinges on commercialization. Not betalization or developentization.
Just because it's on the Internet doesn't mean it's true and that's something you clearly don't understand.
LOL.
EDIT: I know I have said it before. I'll wait for the links. LOL.
Poor reporting? He probably has a blog too. LOL. Connect all the dots you want, I certainly don't intend on stopping you. LOL.
LOL.

LOL.
It's not clear if Cola said that. It's not in quotes.
I hope it's coming soon. I want to retire by 3pm ET.
What would make you think they're laying low? They're already confirmed for 2 "summits" this year.
I guess they just weren't invited to this one.
Why the heavy reliance on PR? I'd prefer quality over quantity. LOL, I said quality. Get it?!?!
Sorry.
Hey Aef, what are those IM details?
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=95245080
I don't think he ever posted more info but he is still posting.
I emailed him back on 3/5, never got a reply. Their website looks shoddy. A former board member posted late last year that he heard back from Yopak and he indicated that the deal was dead.
I'll see if I can find that post.
I'm right there with you brudda. I hate work so I'd love to see time speed up, but I've been in the same company for 19 years, another 3 won't kill me.
If you don't need the money you've invested to survive and you feel comfortable with SGLB and the prospects, then let it ride.
Nope, will you be attending?
End of March there'll be another summit. It's just a couple more weeks.
It's a shame they can't mention them by name. It leaves that outside chance that Sigma will not be the golden child.
Here's to hoping they are!
I was being facetious. Might've been lost on people since I didn't use a winky-face. ;)
It's as good as any other theory I've seen.
I think the next "summit" will be a catalyst. I think it's on March 24th.
