Interesting....
My only objection on your theory is that Americans eat close to 2-3 times more than that of the average Chinese. How many obese people do you see in the streets of Beijing?...NONE, unless they're American.
Question: What is the startegy behind the "PROS" and how are they allowed to do this? Isn't the price dictated through supply and demand of the shares?
No kidding, this stock can't seem to get any legs and staying power. The number of OS is just too fricking high and until they either address this...again, but this time with no same time issuing of more shares, and/or start showing positive cash flow, it's going to hover here and it will be fliipers paradise with every PR.
I know, all in due time since it's leader is heading the company in the right direction. Just frustrating to watch time and time again.
Glad to see you came to your senses...I'm sure in that 1.5 hour time frame between your 2 posts, you maybe got some good advice from some fellow posters and/or friends.
I'm a small investor in GDHI (compared to some on this board), but I've been around for the last 6 months. I prefer to put the majority of my investment monies in the NYSE stocks, which have now become a recent challenge...again. I enjoy reading dh's perspective on GDHI and to me, he has some very interesting take-aways. He brings some balance to this forum which is healthy and every existing investor and new investor (newbie) should hear his points. He stays on opinion and facts (though some of it a little twisted and misleading to me) vs. just bashing, so I personally don't qualify him as a basher and welcome his perspective on GDHI.
I'm a believer in GDHI and the CEO, but I've been around long enough (5 years) in pennies to know that things aren't always what it seems and/or reads and dh keeps that alive which is good. Pennies are very risky. However, so far, I like what I see and hear with GDHI and having clarity on the share count (ungagged TA) is key as well as follow through on actions from the PR's and CC's.
I, along with some others prefer those that post/cheer the "GO GDHI", would rather see some substance behind such a post. I find those posts way more annoying than anything that dh posts.
Take care and GLTA.
Yah I know, catch22 there.
I was mainly refering to the posters that post daily. I check this board about once every a month just to see if anything has changed....nothing has including the posters and their pipe dreams of HESG. I just check to see if there is any interesting news on TG.
Your funds, if you're a bagholder.
I'm amazed people still hang around and talk about this dead company/shell/stock. I see a lot of it is sympathy jargon...."how many shares do you still have?". I guess is they have more than you, it doesn't hurt as bad.
I'm not a basher, just dumbfounded you're all still here.
MovedOn...as should all of you.
Someone who thinks the financials aren't going to be what they are cracked up to be. Nothing out of the oridinary here in trading; it's just whether you think they will be good, lackluster or outright poor....all of which will affect the pps and ones choice to buy or sell. Not everyone is a believer in this company. Like myself, I'm a believer and this board is primarily comprised of investors, and thus believers, so it's easy to only see the positives and wonder WTF when someone sells a large block.
Just keeping it real.
Please enlighten me/us on how you seem so sure of this. I don't recall any details from the conference call stating the exact timing, just that they expected to get them out by the end of the month.
I'm in agreement that the selling pressure may be due to the numbers not coming out by the end of the month and/or they are not as good as we investors would hope.
And the delusion is worse than one thought. Wow, hold on to those mega pipe dreams with HESG if that's what satifies your depression for making poor investment decisions. GLTY
Just wondering if you would be so kind to update me on something.
What ever happen to the Pike situation/investment? Were there ever any public comments made by a Pike rep, did the firm go silent due to the embarrassemt, or was this all a lie too? IMO, rhe Pike investment was the only thread of proof left of "ligitness" (if you will) this company had at the time.
MovedOn....some time ago and thank you.
OMG, you're delusional.
Get over it and move on. A logical bagholders realizes the situation and accepts the brutal facts and puts a POS stock like this to bed by taking his/her lumps and goes on....and a smart bagholder has a small bag.
Pahleaze.
The behavoir of the major exchanges have nothing to do with influencing this penny, much less any pennies. I too believe it will run much higher, but I've been around pennies long enough to know the flippers are at work here as long as we don't go much below .0014, it's a waiting game. We can all kick ourselves for being devoted longs and not taking advantage of this typical penny manuever, but it's all a part of the game. I'm not a day watcher of this investment of mine like many are on this board. What I am though, is a believer in this company being successful and expect the stock to eventually react as such, but time is what it takes and if you don't have the stomach for these ups and then downs, get out and invest in a NYSE stock that has more stability.
Accurate statement. But the company/CEO does have the power to influence it....i.e. share reduction program(s) which he committed to and has followed through with. However, I think he owes it to his investors what the deal was with the shares that were issued during this reduction program. I know they have to be able to finance some resources to get the business moving; I'd just like to have some clarity on the specifics.
Appreciate the reply. My main beef was the personal attack. No need to go there. There are all sorts of investors in this stock and to speculate on what type I was was too personal IMO. Enough said.
I'm sitting on this one and have been for some time so needless to say I share some frustration with many as to why we haven't seen a positive trend in the pps. I don't post much, so it's obvious I don't obsess over it, but it's about time we see the worm turn. GLTY.
Layoff Mr. Crybaltz, just keeping it real. No need to get personal. You must be one of those emotional investors who falls in love with the company and must defend it's honor. So just chill and pick on someone who cares what you have to say.
Really? I see we are back to the same old games. Maybe you haven't been here long enough. I'm a firm believer we will start breaking out of this rut, but it will take a step change PR...like positive/growing numbers in the financials or some out of the blue major annoucement. Until then, same sh$t, different PR.
Would you then be in agreement that one person (or MM) is doing this like Penny believes?

it is still one person doing all this!!!!!!! folks this is going to go to .05 t .10 fast soon believe me imo symbol change someone holding this down wonder why WELL its called moving to a different stock exchange soon writings on the wall.IMO
Unfricking believable. No idea why it behaves like this. People flipping is all I can think of. I won't be surprised if it drops on the news...seen that already a few times. Kind of frustrating, but when you're here for the long haul, it's just a "WTF" and I just go back to my daily routine...work, TV, reading, visiting friends, etc....and forget about it.
Yes there's movement....to the lows of the year. Why bother in this nowhere company/stock?
This is all good stuff, but we need answers/explanantions on all the stock that has been issued during this same time period. This was in the financials and was not so "public" from the company.
You must be lonely and looking for attention because your ideas on "How to Build a Public Company 101" is a failing grade.
This stock is not moving because there is no volume. 7.6MM worth of trades today is just $8,000 (approx) that changed hands. This is a drop in the bucket considering a poster on this board has a vested talley of many posters totalling over 500MM. Until something drives volume, like a quantitative PR showing growth, or a qualitative PR illustrating reachable and reasonable goals, here we will sit.
Well, one major event that was found out when the financials came out was that with all the plugging the CEO did on share retirement, we found out that almost as many were issued. We need clarity as to why; I fully understand this is part of the norm in start-up, young, growing small companies....but I for one felt it was sneaky. Didn't make me sell though. In fact, I'm buying a few more here and there as it has gone down because I believe in this company....and want to give the CEO the benefit of the doubt.
Just take it somewhere else please. You add no value. In fact, you're just a prick who invests with emotion.
Wow people/posters, please keep it real or otherwise this is just a ferry book board. While I admire the optimism and believe it great things this company has the "potential" of accomplishing, keep it down to earth. 50 cents will be quite an undertaking independent of time: when you're talking in the Billions of shares and just Thousands in revenue, that a big enough gap for a planet to orbit through. Stop talking about 50 cents; it won't happen without major and astronomical events taking place. Keep this board respectful with intelligent and practical thinking or it is nothing but a pie in the sky place to find gibberish.
Lets take it one step at a time and keep the momentum going. I'm an investor like the rest and have been around pennies long enough that this "to the moon" thinking is unproductive and actually quite childish.
MovedOn....to this stock.
Wow Dragon5, you should be part owner. Too rich for my blood.
I seriously hope it all works out for everyone invested. I wouldn't have the stomach with that kind of investment and seeing what the pps has done the last 2-3 weeks.
Thanks Drax and dshade, I actually thought I was a little harsh after re-reading my post and was going to see some backlash. I didn't mean to be offensive to porkchop or anyone.
You hit the nail on the head and I get that...It's all respective. For that kind of money and shares, I would think that would lead to porkchop having to file special (8K) because he has so much invested, but maybe not with a 3B A/S. Now that in itself has me a little fickle, plus we learned that stock was issued all the while the CEO has been very vocal about his retirement of shares and shareholder interest. Looking forward to him explaining that.
Take care and GLTYA. I'm seriously invested in GDHI too.
Wow, I just find it hard to believe that you have invested that much money into a penny stock. Assuming you've been here a while and got in early so your avergage pps investment is at say.... .0010, that's $80K you have in this penny give or take. To put that in perspective, that 4X the money the company even reported as revenue for 1st QTR. It's not even an OTB reporting stock; I'm not calling you or anyone who claims to have that much invested a liar, I just find that type of investing reckless.
I too believe in this company, but that type of money in this type of investment is delusional. That's why I have a hard time believing it. I've been investing in pennies for years now and I've seen the most promising companies and CEO's have a dark side. I don't believe that's the case here, but I'd never lay down $80K on any penny that has no sound employee foundation, financial strength, or exchange reporting responsibilities. Maybe you're a millionaire and can play with money like that.
I know, just like an A$$hole, everyone has one....opinion that is.
I just desire intelligent, informative, and accurate posts regarding this company as a whole, the SS, and opinions on what's driving the pps...all so I can make informed decsions and bounce ideas off others. This is my last bounce with you.
You are a baffoon. Please take your 1st grade level math and opinions somewhere else. As D said, they don't belong here and now I'm interjecting.
...AND the fact we deserve an explanation on why they issued 100s of MM of shares at the same time they are retiring 1B per their "public" plan. I'm counting on the fact they had a good reason, but the back door approach of disclosing it to the investment community has me a little pissed.
How do you know this?
That explains the TA count of the A/S and O/S. I didn't know 600MM shares were issued this year. Maybe that's why the drop in pps.... and enough of this fricking "short" talk. People are bailing because they don't like what they read in the financial report.
Understand and thanks for looking into. I guess the "fishy" part comes with some experience on penny's with gagged TA's. This one is not gagged.
It's all a part of pennyland, but GDHI is a company that appears to be one that can buck the trend.
Did anyone ever clear up the SS with the TA or the CEO? The last I heard was that the O/S was still about 2.4B which is impossible if the company retired 800M from a constant YTD A/S of 3B. These types of fishy things with no explanation can cause the pps to behave like it currently is. I know I'm not happy about this discrepency and want an answer. What about you?
He doesn't have to, the pps speaks for itself. This is a scam.
Yes, the A/S shouldn't change and can't change without a BofD vote.
Retiring common stock: When a company retires some of its common stock, it purchases them from owners and reduces the number of shares issued and the number of shares outstanding. Such shares continue to be authorized shares and may be issued by the company again at a later date.
So if the A/S is 3B, and 800MM shares have been retired (sent back to the A/S treasury and are now unissued), then the O/S can not be more than 2.2B.
Did he tell you what the Authorized total was? If you know the A/s and the O/S then one can figure what's going on with the share retirement program. On the surface, and in no way is this verified at this time, sounds like they are pulling more from the A/S treasury and issuing them to the market thus the discrepency....keeping the O/S little affected by the CEO's retirement of his shares.
May also explain the downward movement on good news. Verfication is needed from the CEO...as you said yourself.
Holy sh$t...welcome to pennyland. This happens all the time. The stock will break this f'd up pattern if the outside buyers continue to come on board. This won't last unless there is something scammy going on which by all accounts there isn't.
Better call the TA again.
Here’s a simple example with numbers to illustrate the relationship of all the different shares:
Authorized Shares – 100
Unissued Shares – 20
Restricted Shares – 10
Float – 70 (100 – 20 – 10 = 70)
Outstanding Shares – 80 (10 + 70 = 80)
Authorized Shares – These shares represent the total number of shares of stock authorized when the company was created. Only a vote by the shareholders can increase this number of shares.
However, just because a company authorized a certain number of shares doesn’t mean it must issue all of them to the public. Most companies retain shares for use later called unissued stock or shares.
Unissued Shares – Shares a company retains in its treasury and not issued to the public or to employees are unissued shares.
Restricted Shares – Restricted shares refer to company stock used for employee incentive and compensation plans. Restricted stockowners need permission of the SEC to sell.
There is a waiting period after a company first goes public where insiders’ restricted stock is frozen. When insiders want to sell their stock, they must file a form with the SEC declaring their intention. Even insiders of established companies must file with the SEC before selling their restricted stock.
Float Shares – Float refers to the number of shares actually available for trade on the open market. You and I can buy these shares.
Outstanding Shares – Outstanding shares includes all the shares issued by the company, which would be the restricted shares plus the float.
Yah, OK. I'd only mark this post if it was possibly believable.
This is one of the few penny stock crap company's I'm happy to say that I got out of in time...last December at about .0065 when the CEO at the time had their shareholder meetings in NC. What a joke that turned out to be, along with the spin off company. This board helped me get the info to make an informed decision to sell.
