Very unpredictable in penny land. eom
How about a late afternoon run? eom
You can add me to the list, 1.5 million.
.0063 x .0064, a little resistance between here and .0065. Would love to see it get past 65 to close the day. Could quickly get to 7 after that.
Someone posted yesterday that SVFC did well considering how the market performed. There is no connection. In penny land you can ignore the DOW, S & P, and the NASDAQ. The problems in China, or whatever the issue happens to be on any given day, has no effect on pennies. Look no further than today as proof. SVFC looking to finish the week strong!
Then what exactly is your point? You aren't concerned about the financial wellbeing of other posters. Have seen too many like you. You're posts are self-serving. So have fun and bash away my friend! Surely you can't think your posts will actually cause someone to sell their shares.
Because you want it to. eom
Solid. Just what you want to see after yesterday. Some normalcy, form a new support level, and then set up for the next run.
.0048 x .005, seems to be stuck in neutral. Anything but a fade to the finish today would be good. Above .005 would be great. Need to stop the hemorrhaging from yesterdays healthy correction.
.0049 x .0051, better eom
Get that bid over .0048 eom
Ideally you would want to see the PPS finish above yesterdays close to start a new bullish trend.
Is it just me or does anyone else like the pattern so far today. Is almost looks like a new bottom is being established with heavy volume. The trading has been in a relatively tight pattern compared with the last few days. I think it may be good going forward.
Not in your dreams. Welcome to penny land my friend.
Relax people. A pullback today is actually a healthy thing after yesterdays activity. Notice I said pullback and not a complete reversal. Higher highs and higher lows...good stuff.
After yesterday to be expected, just some profit taking. You'll get it back. It will be like riding a roller coaster.
Have been waiting on the sidelines making sure this wasn't another one of those pump-n-dump stocks. Didn't like the reversal on Friday. Today is much different so I am in, 1 million @ .0068. Something is definitely going on here, and yes, I have done my DD. Even @ .0068 there is plenty of money to be made if this is legit. Still wouldn't be surprised to see some profit taking in the last hour.
You're not alone. Have seen this many times in penny land. Usually comes down faster than it went up. Staying on the sidelines. GLTA
Not necessarily. AH trades often mean nothing unless connected with news, earnings, etc. Trading AH or before the open is usually not a good idea. I have no position in SVFC but I would caution all that this is still pure speculation play. From the posts I'm reading it sounds like most investors think they are guaranteed to make a fortune. Be careful guys! It's not that simple in the world of penny stocks. If it was we would all be millionaires. It may very well run up and then drop back even quicker. Hype and momentum can change rapidly. Have seen it too many times. Again, be careful and only invest what you can afford to lose.
May as well take your money and go to Vegas. Nothing but pure speculation here. GLTA!
I don't think we'll learn anything of significance until the second quarter. I believe that is when things start happening and will reflect in the Q2 announcement.
Investor Jon, again what shale region do you work? If you don't want to answer the question then all of your statements can be considered bogus.
odogbmf, that's nice to know but what does Best Buy or Nokia have to do with Nuverra? Have you done your DD or are you convinced that every stock you buy will double?
odogbmf, you're sure? Based on what? I am long but I do not see any scenario that would cause the stock price to double. $25 would be a reach IMO. Too many obstacles need to be cleaned up before any significant increase will be seen.
Investor Jon, you make a lot of statements as though factual. What shale region do you work in?
I think we have us a real live "scrooge" on our hands. Investor Jon, really, you had nothing better to do on Christmas morning than to bash Nuverra? Are you shorting NES? Just curious. It would be very hard to believe you don't have an agenda since you are new to this board.
No scott88, it wasn't impressive in overall numbers. However, it is still a bullish sign and can't be ignored. There would be great concern if insider selling occurred instead of buying.
Yep, the insider buying is a good sign. Hey, maybe Nuverra will participate in a Santa Clause rally next week...assuming there is one. I still think the tax loss selling is pretty much over.
I expect some volatility but I don't see anything to sustain the PPS upwards until a favorable TFI sale is announced. Then more positive news will need to follow...preferably a decent Q1 and then a real solid Q2. Remember, they already told us Q4 wouldn't be very good so I figure that is already baked in to the current price. I mean, after the Q3 debacle what bad crap could they possibly hit us with during the Q4 CC? I think they got it all out at once. At least let's hope so! There were some positives in the Q3 CC that shouldn't be ignored.
I'm a die hard Packer fan so it was a good weekend!
Well, I did had a gut feeling the Lions were going to choke last night and they did. But that's what Detroit does! They come from the same cookie cutter as the Cowboys. Sorry fredugsi, no other gut feelings :(
I posted last Monday that we may have seen the bottom. It was nothing more than a gut feeling. Late last week we saw insider buying. I am starting to give that a little more credence after todays action. Maybe something is brewing with TFI sale? Hmm... I believe the tax loss selling is done for the most part. There could be some more volatility but things may not be as bad as feared. Glad I didn't sell.
Gapped down but recovering some. May have gone down anyway since sentiment is as bad as it is. I agree, however, what else is out there? We need to hear something positive for once. I don't know why but I am getting the feeling that we may have seen a new bottom. JMHO.
esteem, with all due respect keep your assumptions about my investing tactics to yourself. I don't need you, of all people, advising me how to make investment decisions. I am doing just fine without your help. NES is a small part of my portfolio. That's all you need to know.
I watch comedians for laughs. EOM
fredugsi...it looks like you and I are in the same boat. I totally agree with everything you wrote. I feel exactly as you do. I am extremely frustrated at this point and I only wonder how much further this will drop before we see a NEW bottom. Like you wrote, why buy now?
marcpw, I appreciate your optimism as I continue to hold. But think about this logically and not through rose colored glasses. What is so compelling for institutional investors to step in at this time. They, more than uneducated investors, will stay away from a falling knife. I wouldn't expect any heavy institutional buying until Nuverra can show they have turned things around and that could take at the very least 2 quarters. I expect this current trend we're in to continue. The only way is stops is if NES comes out with unexpected positive news that can really move the stock price upward. When was the last time that happened? Again, I am holding on to my shares. Not a bear, just a realist.
marcpw...I expected the drop today. So we are back to $1.61 pre-split. Nothing surprising about that. Why do you see the R/S as a positive? They usually don't work out well for investors. Companies use them because they are most likely out of other options, i.e., getting de-listed, etc. Nuverra says one of the reasons is to attract institutional investors. That sounds great. My concern is that it won't work. NES is at least 2 quarters from turning the corner and the stock price could be shorted down significantly by then. Don't think it could happen? I have been bullish up until recently and continue to hold my shares but as they say you don't stay married to a stock. I'm tired of watching my money disappear.
fredugsi...board members do not have a fiduciary responsibility to you, me, or any other investor to purchase shares. I too have added shares on dips in the past but not since the Q3 announcement. I too believe that within 6 months we will know which direction Nuverra is going based on the information given to us from the Q3 announcement. I am holding my shares. I have enough. I am not going to potentially throw good money after bad. Nuverra has to prove itself to me. Insider buying isn't enough at this time. Blame Heckmann if you want for past performance but the future starts now. Let's see how the market reacts to the R/S. Typically not good and that is why I am not particularly bullish in the near future. I expect further declines before we HOPEFULLY see the PPS go back up with some announcements or news from Nuverra. Sentiment is not good and that can't be ignored. Wishing the PPS to go up never works.
