did the career thing long enough.

take heart, gang.
i've had a modest 'buy' in since about 1pm Eastern at 1.21, and although it's been there a lot in 2 hours, it won't fill.
not much sellin' going on here.
ignore any reports which focus on earnings for this outfit. they are clueless about what will move the price in either direction.
shame on Zack's.
the launching pad is on a golf course????
looks like Loof needs to prepare for re-entry
many here affected...friends, relatives...
don't get crazy about Avid. Other than PPHM, they have 1 customer generating 97% of their activity according to the latest financials.
That does not create value on the open market...at all.
The value at the moment is only in the potential value of Bavi, since 1 person (ok, maybe a few people) could probably whip up all the Cotara they'll need given it's light volume projection.
stox...that $1.50 is NUTHIN' if they have the goods.
do they or don't they?
everything else here is drivel.
George...
i've been a long time holder (about 10 years) and i sold everything between 9/24 and 9/25, at an average of around $1.40 or so. I was nauseous every time i hit the sell button, but sometimes I wasn't fast enough. yeah, it was sickening news.
Against a basis of around $2.40. yeah, ouch.
Like SO many of us regulars here, the magnetic attraction of the science told me we weren't done by a long shot... Couldn't stay out.
I'm a little more than half-way back in at a basis of .90...
want to buy more...and i might.
i didn't get burned yet when I dumped as you have suggested, because this thing is still far from a sure thing. In the meantime, I softened my situation by quite a bit by tens of thousands.
I'm ok with those of you who have ridden it all the way down and part way back. I can't afford to take the elevator down to the basement again.
who is Sierra, and can she/he please be right?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????/!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the cheap atm shares likely went to friendly parties in an orchestrated move, i.e. ayer et all. that's life in the fast lane.
either the stuff works to a statistically significant extent or it doesn't.
soon, we'll know who the *ssholes are, one way or the other.
PW...
that response could be interpreted to be consistent with the wording in the medical writer job description in terms of...optimism.
they keep dragging us along!
not expecting anything significant today/tonite.
no reason to expect the share price to move up at all until/unless at least NSCLC results are validated or partnership dollars flow for something.
significant downside risk remains highly likely again if one of the above doesn't happen soon.
don't shoot me for the truth.
would love to eat crow within 24 hours.
you guys are drunk
can't stop thinking about the "as we prepare to revolutionize patient therapies for brain, lung and pancreatic cancer" and "We would look to your experience for the production of high-quality clinical documents to help our rapid approval process with the FDA" lines in the Medical Writer job posting...
those almost need a disclaimer if it's not accurate.
so goodjohn...
who bought 25,000,000 shares the last several days at substantially higher prices than the stock is at right now?
i can understand IR not responding to freaking out, hysterical, retail bulletin board shareholders.
i cannot understand their silence when a well-known entity like The Street beats their brains in, making the accusations they do.
why do they never play any defense?
our old friend Mr. Manipulation is never out of town for long.
tarvacin..
it's meaningless that cotara news came before NSCLC clarification.
One nice PR can change your concern.
Adam Feuerstein ?@adamfeuerstein
$PPHM -- You know things are really bad over there when they have to dust off the Cotara program.
i guess King won't win the 'worst CEO' award now...
nice timing, AF
ayer isn't dart
just hope 12/3 doesn't feel like 9/24
i'm happy for Nateeee. i'm sure he got out of his short position and loaded the wagon at 1.04 the other day
got to give major kudos to management.
they did say 2012 would be an exciting year.
leak is likely, IMO... this volume is probably too much for speculation/momentum play by itself on a stock with this one's history.
a leak could have been non-specific and still be behind this move since there are several potential catalysts in the relatively near term, and everybody knows there's a possibility the drug works despite the messed up trial....
Frustrated..
there's ample room to be realistically optimistic about pphm's prospects.
are you ignoring the rapidly growing body of research on the immunological effects of PS by folks not under the control of
Peregrine?
we will be moving up. don't know when, don't know how much, but it's happening.
uhhh...where did this volume come from? i said i was back in, but i didn't buy a million shares....
dammit, i'm back in.
will i never learn?
Fox...if they have results, and they're clearly good (statistically significant or not), wouldn't that be material and require a filing even in the absence of the legal matters being resolved?
oy. sure wish this could show a little life while I still have some.
glad i didn't fly out. only the food fight would have been satisfying
all he did was turn the clock back a year or two
smells like dead money
didn't sound to me like the bad info will support P3 after re-work
tradero...we're on a shoestring budget..
curve.... there should not be disgust about the dilution. there was no doubt it was happening or coming after last month's mess. the fact remains that, should meaningful results be salvaged from the trial, the price will still move up sharply and there will still be partnering. there's no need to trash PPHM's move...it was the only option given the circumstances, and the company is still breathing.
man, i hate these 4 decimal bids & asks.
they don't pass the smell test.
the only dilution issue is about whether, if you think the trials will be validated enough to be able to close a partnership in the fairly near term, should you add shares around the current price or wait till it drops to the .30s after dilution, before any partnership?
that's a game of chicken i decided not to play.
i may lose half or all of what i just forked out, but the flip side is that i won't totally miss a big move up if that happens in the same fairly near term.
it's cheap enough now that there's no point holding out over pocket change.
was that yet another fake run so some folks could get out ahead of another big leg down?
would not be any big surprise.
(definition of insanity applies to me)
