Ok thanks!
Hi Front, few questions... and Reeper if you want to throw in your theory/opinion regarding the O/S please do... why do you want the O/S update so often? When do you think the O/S will stop increasing, and why is it increasing 20-50 million a month? Is it because of the K&J deal or other convertible notes to accredited investors? Is this directly tied to the selling that's keeping the price under .02? Do you think we won't see a big run until the O/S stops increasing? Do you think SGMD will still need funding going forward or can they spend BZRTH profits to grow the business? Thanks.
Revised filing, 10 billion, not 100
Yea, why 100 billion? Why not 10 billion? That's already astronomical. Is there a clear reason for the 100 billion increase?
Made this estimate yesterday when there was 12m volume.
"Maybe 17m volume today, 25m tomorrow?"
16.8m yesterday, 22m today. I have no idea what volume might be like tomorrow, but I do think we will at least hit .023-.025, or almost .03.
In my opinion, we will only reach a dollar after a year or 2 of growth, after they reduce/buy back shares and when lots of money comes into the sector. I don't think much money will come into the sector until MJ is federally legalized.
Maybe 17m volume today, 25m tomorrow?
Guarantee big buys coming in before market closes, or sooner.
Any pro opinions on the revised payment of all this stock?
8k says closing acquisition before month's end, with promissory notes instead of cash, guess they are getting it done they way they can!
Hmm, is SGMD the cheapest penny stock that isn't a penny stock? I like the total current assets over 3m.
Well they probably already have a large chunk of that $5M. I keep thinking about the last thing they told us in a PR : We are prepared to close the first part of the BZRTH acquisition. So that brings questions such as: Do they have all or most of the cash required? Do they only need a portion of the total $6m to acquire BZRTH in parts somehow? Could there be an ammendment to the original agreement that allows a partial or full acquisition without having to pay the total $5m right away? They are working on it, and I have a feeling that whatever news comes out about the acquisition will be a surprise. If it causes any excitement whatsoever that means closing soon, we will probably pop up 50-100% from here.
Actually the 5m is just to close Bizrite, which has 30-40m annual revenues. 70m is the total of Biright and other company (sky unlimited I believe) with 30m revenues. 30m revenues was already accomplished by bizright the previous year, 40m was projected for this year for bizright, so total revenues after the 2 companies are acquired should be around 70m.
What date was it when they announced the BZRTH audit was complete and they are "prepared to close the first part of the BZRTH acquisition"? Maybe they found a way to complete the acquisition in pieces and are having trouble with that or will announce soon?
I'm pretty sure the acquisition is happening one way or another, only uncertainty is the how and when and what is the lowest the stock price will hit before it's complete.
I don't know why, but today is the biggest down day for pot stocks I've seen in a while. I mean, every day is a down day, but today is huge. I can't list stocks on this post as an example or it will get deleted, but I can put it this way... on my watch list of about 110 OTC stocks and 5 NASD/NYSE stocks all in the cannabis sector, only 15 of them have any green at all, with the most green being only 15%. The other 90 stocks are down. On a similar note, many of the stocks that I personally like and have been trading for quite some time are at new 2 year and 1 year lows.
Don't know why people care about the 10k, won't show any increased revenues.
Form NT-10K was filed 9/30 @ 5:21 PM
We need a news drop about the acquisition. If they were "prepared" to close the first part of the first step of the first phase of the Bizrite acquisition almost 2 months ago, why haven't they done it yet?
New HoD - .0127 and still low volume.
Look at my recent post, the article. Everything said here is true, and you should stop and think about it for a minute. I have said repeated times that the entire sector is down, well here you go. SGMD is a picks and shovels company. Look at other companies that have done acquisitions and their market caps. The potential is here but we are down low just like most other stocks.
I now have a million shares in my personal account! Plus about 700k in other accounts. Waiting for the next announcement about the first acquisition of BZRTH.
Interesting article:
"Investment legend has it that the best money in the California gold rush was made selling picks and shovels. Fertilizer and real estate are equivalent bets on the volatile pot boom.
Shareholders in cannabis stocks have lost money lately. Companies that "touch the plant"--those that cultivate and sell pot, such as Cronos Group and Green Thumb Industries--have shed up to 50% of their market value over the past six months, as worries grow about profitability in the sector and the resilience of black-market sellers (https:// www.wsj.com/articles/pot-industry-underestimates-old-school-dealers-11566214441) in legalized states like California. Big corporate investors are among the casualties: Tobacco giant Altria(MO)'s 45% stake in Cronos is now worth 10% less than the $1.8 billion the Marlboro maker paid for it last December.
Even after the selloff, cannabis names are pricey. Shares in Canopy Growth(CGC), the loss-making pot company (https://www.wsj.com/articles/canopy-growth-co-ceo-bruce-linton-leaving-the-company-11562160655) in which Corona brewer Constellation Brands owns a 36% stake, fetches 13 times next year's projected revenue, according to FactSet data. Companies servicing the cannabis industry look cheap and less volatile by comparison.
Scotts Miracle-Gro(SMG) is a 150-year-old company that for most of its existence made money selling lawn fertilizer to domestic gardening enthusiasts. More recently, it has been supplying cannabis companies in legalized markets with the equipment they need for indoor growing--everything from horticultural lights, plant-growing trays and air-filtration systems. In the three months through June, the division that supplies its cannabis clients--which represents about a sixth of revenue--grew 138% compared with the same period of 2018, although some of this was due to acquisitions. Its stock is up over 70% so far this year.
Property is another way for more conservative investors to get exposure to the cannabis industry without directly shouldering the regulatory risk of buying stock in a grower. BlackRock Fund Advisors and Northern Trust Investments(NTRS) are among the top shareholders in Innovative Industrial Properties(IIPR), a real-estate investment trust that specializes in facilities for growing cannabis. Almost 60% of the company's shares are now owned by institutional investors--a rarity for pot names that rely heavily on retail shareholders.
Cannabis REITs are booming because pot companies can't get regular mortgages while the drug remains federally illegal. "The REITs are filling a current void in capital markets where banks would traditionally be," says Harrison Phillips, vice president of cannabis investment bank Viridian Capital Advisors. A sale and lease-back of the real estate on their balance sheets offers a way for cannabis companies to free up cash to fund their growth plans. IIP typically makes a rental yield of 15% on these deals--double the U.S. average for industrial property--and its NYSE-listed shares are up 96% so far this year.
Not all companies that service the pot industry have been good investments. Shares in packaging companies like KushCo Holdings, which are considered more directly exposed to the problems faced by growers, have been battered. And other industries face their own specific risks: If changes to federal laws make it easier for cannabis growers to get regular mortgages, for example, IIP's attractive yields would come down quickly.
Still, companies that sit on the sidelines of the industry may often be a safer bet than the plant itself. Even ignoring the thorny question of regulation, cannabis, like gold, is ultimately a commodity, and producers have limited scope to differentiate their output in a way that would generate long-term returns for shareholders. Investors who have been burned should take a broader view of the cannabis ecosystem."
Last 3 days blood red
New Hod - .017
Why I said "so far"... it jumped back end of day, almost equal selling vs buying today. Nice setup for sector rally tomorrow
So far today, the sector is down again, about 4x or 5x more selling than buying. But we are at a new high for the week. 2 days in a row we are not moving down with the sector sell off, we might be moving up right now, this week very good chance of hitting a 1 month high.
Sector is down today big time, like 10x more selling than buying over 110 otc stocks
Yes, but news or not, this is moving up, there's no way it's not gonna be much higher than .012 in the coming months.
There have been huge blocks traded here in the past hour, 3 times. First 2 were 1 million share trades. At 3:51 PM, 2.5 million shares traded in that minute at .011. Wonder what's going on and why this volume isn't moving the price either direction?
I'd say right. The sector is up today, over 2x more buying than selling. Let's see if the MM's make us close green like a lot of others.
Sector is down big again today, many stocks hitting new lows and sub-penny, again. Very doubtful that we close above .0125. But at the same time, we have likely already hit bottom so unlikely to close under .01.
Play it as you see it- I think you feel that makes your uneducated and emotional comments seem smart
I didn't answer you post, you didn't ask a question. You really have no idea what you're doing or what you're talking about regarding anything.
Why are all your posts either emotionally negative, or insulting to someone you don't even know, followed by "play it as you see it", as if anyone is going to listen to your "advice"?
The sector is having a huge down day, about 10x more selling than buying. We will likely close red.
Sector was up today, more than 2x buying. No coincidence we are up.
.0139, boys!
1) It is only just now hitting more newswires. Was only released to my news feed at 11:46, 5 minutes ago, DJ realtime news and Globenewswire.
2) News hasn't been causing any stocks to rally lately. It's the sector, good news, good revenues reported by so many companies, and prices still decline. I have noticed certain times of the year when news releases cause stocks to rise 20-50% in minutes, and other times when nothing goes up on good news, right now is one of those times. I recommend you should accept that stocks are controlled by market makers, and stocks won't usually move in the direction you think they should at the time you think they should.
1 million on the bid at .012, looking good here for holding over .01 forever.
HoD - .0127 - The pre-pre rally has started. Next is the pre-rally over .02, before the rally to .10
