KAT still holds South Lucky, Rusty Ridge, Handcamp and Colliers....
Quite a lot still and only needs to hit on one! :o)
I believe Ken is still working on moving the properties forward.
Waiting for news from the company. :o)

Waiting to hear from Kat.....
Sorry to see the cancellation, but without any information we just don't know what's going on, or what could be going on behind the scenes with this cancellation.
I will continue to wait, Kat Gold still has some great properties :o)
Curious to see what VALE will do with their properties. Reports for these 2 are due 03/06/2012. VALE will either submit a report or cancel them.

GO KAT!
Gump, I believe the next filing due is the annual report....and it is not due until the end of this month....
Yes, the Pope has been in contact. :o)
Gump, I still don't see why you call the N. Lucky property an old dog...
First I have shown where the N. Lucky, was only staked by one other company (Falconbridge) in 1981..and they spent ZERO money on it after losing $81Mil that year..... See post: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=69109692
Second I recently checked the historical claims near N. Lucky, where the newly discovered Bull Arm Volcanics were found, according to Normore. (2nd Paragraph of ABSTRACT) http://www.nr.gov.nl.ca/mines&en/geosurvey/publications/CR2010/2010_Normore.pdf
Here are the 3 historical claims from the NL Govt GeoAtlas map. Also, linked here is the work report from 1989, by Cominco, who staked them. Interesting read. They say several areas warrant follow-up work (Conclusions and Recommendations). Also, says:
LOL :o)
GO KAT GOLD!
More great DD....Must read Shorton's posts!
Thanks
GO KAT!
Great DD Shorton...Thanks....Keep up the good work! :o)
Newfoundland Govt paid John Hinchey to go half way around the world to present the Bonavista data to the scientific community (and back)!!
This spending was not done IMO, because a "SNIFF" was found. Who would think such nonsense? :o)
And remember John Hinchey took the Bonavista area down under to Australia: "GIANT ORE DEPOSITS"

He also has additional info coming out this year... 2012 (see quote)

Wrong Gump! ...... :o) .....
Let me see. Voisey Bay deposit is worth at least 60 Billion (ore prices were much lower when that was pr'd). Discovery by "Prospectors
Now another find has been surrounded by Giant Vale (Kat Lucky). Is there any large deposit Vale uses as the feed for it's large mouth in Newfoundland or Labrador that was discovered by a Geologist?..... My DD says no, at least in Newfoundland and Labrador. Everything Vale eats is discovered by prospectors.
You say, "Just Ken and Tim at the wheel"....But I think recent DD shows that both John Hinchey and Leon Normore are currently working together on the North Lucky (as well as Vale). Hinchey and Normore have their pay check cut by the government of Newfoundland! Ken is getting the best (FOR FREE)!...and Kat shareholders receive the benefit. This looks to me like a better deal than a non-dilutive option.....and we have one of those with Vale, where as Vale pays for all the work done on the Lucky. As for Vale dropping the Luckys....Some may have bought in to that theory...had it not been for Top Govt. Geos taking the Bonivista results down to Australia on the governments dime.
wshaw...great link....
Awesome pics there too.
Do you mean info like this?
Doesn't it sound a lot like the whole Bonavista Area???
Lucky and Rusty Ridge
Great Post Shorton! Did VALE say......
Shhhhhhhhhh to Leon Normore? Now he is silent with Ken..
Could be.
GO KAT!
Agree Homevendor, Shorton is doing great DD....
http://www.nr.gov.nl.ca/mines&en/geosurvey/publications/CR2010/2010_Normore.pdf
"NEWLY DISCOVERED"
2nd Paragraph of the ABSTRACT
And beginning on page 296 of Normore report read about "DYKES"
Agree...Thanks mappo...So much great DD!
I also believe lots going on behind the scenes with all this silence!
GO KAT !
Great info Abraham! Thanks...:o)
Check out what was written about the Bonavista Peninsula....
WOW!
Comparing the size of the Bonavista Peninsula to 3 known SSCU Basins:
Zambian Copperbelt
Kupferschiefer
White Pine
http://gis.geosurv.gov.nl.ca/geofilePDFS/ReceivedBatch13/NFLD_2900.pdf
Pages 191 and 192
Take some time to read this entire report.... :o)
Maybe VALE does not want to start playing the symphony...YET!
VALE is the conductor (operator of the Options)
VALE doesn't want others getting in on the beautiful music!
GO KAT!
Nice DD Shorton! Massive SSC deposit... I like that. :o)

Gump...you know exploration takes time! :o) Be patient! I believe VALE will get around to it sometime...
Cornerstone, that Ken co-founded, is still working this whole huge area, been doing it for over a decade...
Along with many Newfoundland geos! All the reports Shorton has been posting...they are in a current study of the Bonavista Peninsula.
Thanks Shorton! Great find! I like this part
