Possibly even a very high premium due to the size of the market and available market share- 100%
Exactly.
Do Acquisitions Benefit Shareholders?
There is substantial empirical evidence that the shareholders in acquired firms benefit substantially. Gains for this group typically amount to 20 percent in mergers and 30 percent in tender offers above the market prices prevailing a month prior to the merger announcement.

Good night all. Wow...
Bro, how much have you had to drink tonight?!?!
Yep. 100,000:1 !! JK
I agree. This whole last hour of conversation should be deleted so as not to be mistaken for insider trading/tipping. JMO
Reccomend to the Admin of the board that they remove any potential posts that may be misconstrued as insider trading, as a precautionary measure.
Everybody should just drop it at this point and leave it for what its worth.
Not looking good for somebody...if its true. Question is, has a line been crossed?

I will give you the benefit of the doubt for right now because if your making it up, that would be horrible for your name from a marketing standpoint. Talk about backlash...
Come on man, obviously it was a typo; take out an e...
Very true
Vikingzskillz,
Thats just the thing, you can't expect everybody to be forward thinkers and see the big picture; most only see the chaos and uncertainty that is going on right now which skews investment decisions. If everyone thought this way, demonstrating a keen business sense and ability to spot trends/discover new niche markets, 98% of the population in the US would be millionares, as opposed to only 2%.
Very true.
The last hour of trading as a sentiment measure:
When a trader or investor thus decides to avoid the risk premium built into the overnight trade, this could be taken as a sentiment measure: a sign of risk aversion. Similarly, a persistent buying in the last hour of trade might reflect aggressiveness regarding the ownership of equities.
Another reason why where going up (;
Like I said, the majority are probably in this for the long haul. However, some flippers are good for the stock also to create psychological buy points for those on the sidelines when they think their getting in low...
This is an "investors" stock, not a flippers stock. I think this is evident from the trading action over the past few days. The majority of the people attracted to this stock see the future growth potential of this company and plan to hold until the new medical MJ supply-side industry is established and the boundaries for growth are defined; this is why it will continue to climb (;
Possibly a pre-arranged buy set up in advance with the MM so as not to affect the bid/ask. Happens all the time usually right before the close or after; this is usually why pps unexpectedly jumps or drops right before the end of the trading day. This is actually a good sign because this would normally indicate some type of institutional or insider buy. IMHO
FYI, if you are looking for more current info on Geely, Yahoo.Finance message boards for GELYF has a good following with updated information. This board is about a week behind on its information stream! See ya there!
Contacted BNY Mellon, the depository bank that will carry the Geely ADS's.Here is their response:
Mr. XXXX,
I received your message below regarding Geely Auto and would like to respond to your inquiry.
You are correct, there is an unsponsored DR program in place for Geely Auto, but until at least one Market Maker makes a market in the security, it will not trade. Unfortuntaely, since BNY Mellon is not a Market Maker, I do not have any indication as to when that will take place.
Finally, you will never see a press release regarding the establishment of an unsponsored DR from BNY Mellon. You will however see a press release when a sponsored DR is established or an unsponsored converts to a sponsored DR.
If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.

GELYF, GELYY (the new ADR) and 0175.HK will all track each other.
Most US institutions will not touch a OTCBB stock because of the volatility and risk, but they will buy an ADR due to the price stability and liquidity.
Once US institutions begin to buy the ADR in large blocks, GELYF will also rise to match the % increase equivalent of the ADR.
This is how BYDDF (BYD company that Warren Buffet owns 10%) was able to go from $2 to $10 dollars in a year gaining Buffet a $1 Billion paper profit. The ADR made it possible for Institutions to invest.
A great article to better understand ADR's and how individual investors and institutions benefit:

Geely to launch ADR- GELYY

This is what they need to attract the institutional investors. Expect a significant jump once the ADR begins trading(;
