I second that.
When news of financing hits the questions will be:
1. what are the terms (dilutive or not)
2. who are the lenders? Quality names or someone we never heard of.
3. How much? A couple mil we're still small time. 10 mil plus, now we're talking.
If we get quality names doing big bucks financing at favorable terms the pps will fly up so fast you won't know what hit you.
In the meantime buy buy buy before the bargain ends.
All imho,
Vic
Bought 75K so far this week avg .147. Looking to buy 200k at .12 to .095.(possible) 500k at .06 (unlikely) and 1mln at .03 Very unlikely).
Willing to lose 50k to make 500k +... 50k won't wreck my lifestyle but 500k+ would enhance it.
Please find your own comfort level and stick to it.
All imho and good luck to all,
Vic
2create, I based my 1.50 target on 33 mln bbls p1 + p2 resvs + cash flow from current ops - downsiding the Rus tax rate that may effectively make the realized $ per bbl $30.
If legit, 1.50 should be a no brainer in the next 12 months imho.
GL to you,
Vic
After having read all of the SEC filings the past few weeks, I have initiated a position here and will be buyin' large and working the bid for the next few weeks.
My low 12 month target is 1.50.
Do your own DD and good luck to all,
Vic
Thanks rrufff, you sound like a good man to keep it real around here.
Best of luck to you and all longs here,
Vic
rrufff, welcome aboard as the new moderator. Looking forward to your input in your new capacity here.
Best to you,
Vic
Pretty strong today (knock on wood) considering the beating that energy and precious metals are taking today. Always hard to swim against the tide. It is a show of very high relative strength.
Airdale, Just a little feedback on some of your questions.
They are already mining so permits shouldn't be an issue. It's the expansion of current mining they hope to accomplish.
I think they have already stated they want to go after the 2 largest properties with 3mln ounces. One of which is 20 to 25 grams per ton.
I would nix the palm greasing question. Don't ask, don't tell, LOL.
I like most of the questions. Good list.
I'm more comfortable as a minority holder in Russia than I would be as a (non-Russian) majority holder.
Jmho, past politics and all.
Vic
Because the Russians have a 75%+ stake in AURC (and NDOL), comparisons to non-Russian controlled entities (in Russia) are not relevent imho.
Access to capital from the American/Canadian/British minority holders is not a perk to be given up lightly imho.
IMO, they will make this work to everyone's benefit to ensure future access to capital at favorable rates.
Vic
OT/TREE
Take a look at AURC.PK. If they're for real could be worth up to 2.00+ per share.
LOL, I couldn't resist.
Good luck,
Vic
PS: Buyin' large next week
Mike, thanks for the update. Good to know that emails are being responded to.
Vic
RU, thank you very much for your time and efforts here.
Good job,
Vic
I've been buying like a madman from .16 all the way down every half penny. It's getting to where I am going to start putting my relatives in it now.
As soon as I saw all of those NDOL SEC filings, I knew that Gerald was legit.
All imho and good luck to all,
Vic
You picked a pretty good one to get started. I was the main MM in a Nevada Junior in the early 80's that went from .25 to 8.00 in six months, so I know what can happen here if the pieces fall into place.
I was looking at DROOY (DRDGOLD). They are a high cost producer (about $400 oz). Looking at their reserves and production and mkt cap, I calculated that AURC would be about $2 per share to be on a par with them.
Opposing viewpoints welcome.

All I can say is "WOW! It's been awhile since I've seen a gainer like this so quick. News or no news, I'll love to see how high this goes when we get the same volume or more as occurred at the lows! (4 to 5mil+ a day).
Keeping my fingers crossed AND knocking on wood that we see nice financing soon.
Good luck to all,
Vic
"how about the sellers? Where are you guys, we know you're out there somewhere..."
I took 19% off the table today at .135 avg...In the absence of news I wanted more firepower on a pullback. If it goes straight up? Well, that's ok too as I still have 81%.
If I see solid news/financing to validate the assets I will buy a LOT more HIGHER than where I sold a little.
Just want to see news to support the move.
Vic
Daily stock market timing for maximum profits (gains?) copyright about 1962 by Joseph E. Granville (out of print and good luck finding it) is the most awesome book I ever read about technical analysis. He invented OBV, On Balance Volume.
I lent my copy to a "friend" several years ago never to see it again. Bummer.
He (Granville) turned into a wacko in the 80's, but his work before that was exceptional. Anything he wrote in the 60's is VERY good imho.
Good luck and let me know if you find any of his older work/books from the 1960's/1970's.
Vic
Shab, when I find a stock I like I jump in and take a 25% position at the mkt immediately so I don't miss the boat.
After that I place bids 10 to 20% below the mkt for more in case of an MM shakeout.
That's just me. Do what you think is best for you.
Good luck to you,
Vic
Trops, good TA, thank you.
Vic
I don't have an exit point yet. If financing comes through on good terms it will add legitimacy to this. In that case I plan to buy extremely large up to .50 and wait a few weeks to see how it develops. Of course I would sell a little .75+ to get my seed money back.
With no news I would sell 10% at .15 and 20% at .20 and let the rest ride.
If no news for the next 3 weeks I will be looking to trade my way out of 50% a month from now.
Good luck to you,
Vic
""Parkin should make himself less accesable until all report's and news break's. These constant phone calls are an impediment to getting the job done and I believe he will get it done."
Wes, I disagree. The unavailability of the company would scare some investors and tank the pps short term imho.
A declining pps would be more of an impediment imho.
Vic
Mt streamer and account both say a .09 close. Nice to see PERFECT chart action while waiting on news.
.15 this week is looking very likely imho.
Several people were told last week to expect news this week. Tuesday (today) or Wednesday were mentioned as the most likely days. If nothing else, an announcement that discussions are in progress and how close they feel they are to an agreement should be put out imho.
I just don't think you should tell several investors to expect something and then put out nothing.
JMHO
Perfect chart action today. If non-dilutive asset based financing comes in as mentioned earlier on this board, the .50 threshold will be quickly reached imho.
As far as naked shorting is concerned, I knew a guy once that bought the entire float with cash and then demanded delivery of the certificates. The pps went from .20 to 10.00 on the panic covering the next 3 weeks.
Maybe we should all demand physical delivery of our stock certificates to force the issue.
Yes, it is nice. It's why I am so bullish for 3/31 expire date.
1. The converting and selling pressure will be over.
2. The extra cash that ptgc gets funds their immediate needs and we don't have to worry about being blind-sided by some financing deal anytime soon.
The real fun starts after 3/31/06.
That's when Warrants to buy 3.8 million shares @ .45 expire.
It's a false lid on the pps until then imho.
Good luck all,
Vic
Spark, sorry. It was off topic about PTGC.ob
Westeffer, how did you get the petrogen warrants? Do they trade anywhere?
Thanks,
Vic
o/s is 32.1 mln. Here is the latest 10q. It has a lot of details on their prospects and working interests.
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1057226/000109230605000567/form10qsb.txt
Good luck,
Vic
OT/PTGC For what it's worth, they have 3.8 million warrants @.45 that expire 3/31/06. After that you can expect a significant rise imho. I would not buy much above .51 before then. Jmho.
FD: I am long 20k shares @.505 avg.
Good luck,
Vic
Perfect low volume handle forming. Next week could have some very exciting upside.
Chart-wise, there is very little resistance before .15 to .20 area. In fact I would venture a guess that those of us who are on this board own most of the float right now and if we all refused to sell any, the pps would quickly rise to the .15 to .20 level.
Also from the Russian's point of view, there is NO WAY you want to do financing at these levels and get diluted. It is in their best interests to buy in the open mkt to augment their restricted shares. Finance at .50 + yes; but here? No way.
All imho,
Vic
Tree, thank you for the reply. Keep in mind that my financing scenario was pure speculation (as I stated in my last post), and is based on Aurus's last PR:
"The company is currently in advanced discussions with several funds and strategic investors to finance the production increase, whereby Aurus Corporation expects to produce 12 tons or 384,000 ounces of gold annually or today's equivalent to over $250 million USD annually as well as produce many other precious metals."
Clearly, some kind of financing is going to be done to facilitate the INCREASE in production.
If it was a profitable currently producing mine, why would the Russians bother doing a deal with Aurus?
My take is that it is marginal production going on now and they need cash to step it up to a profitable level. Access to American capital is usually on better terms than they can find elsewhere.
I still think we will see some kind of dilutive financing, whether it is through restricted stock or some type of convertible Preferred or a low interest conv note. Conv Pfd seems to be the financing Du Jour these days.
I guess we'll know next week if we have something or have been had.
Good luck to you,
Vic
I tried emailing and got a failed deliver also. When was the last time anyone here talked to Parkin?
Assuming this is legit, I'm thinking somewhere in the neighborhoodof 500 mln shares sold for starters. Any shares that are issued, restricted or not, may have to also be issued to the Russians for them to maintain majority control.
With 5 mln ounces of gold worth est $100 oz in the ground, that would be $500 mil / 1 bln shares = target .50 per share.
Just pure speculation, I have no clue how financing, if any, will end up being done.
Chartwise, .20 looks doable near term.
This is a complete crapshoot for me where I expect to lose everything or make 20x + with not much in-between. Would I recoup my orig investment at .10? Yes, and let the free stock ride.
Let's hope we all get that chance.
All imho, good luck to all,
Vic
I guess this is my last post today.
Because of the 3 post limit for newbies.
I retired 2 years ago at age 52. The MM life is a young man's game with hyper trading.
I made enough to be comfortable and enjoy my family. As to which firm I ever worked for, I signed a non-disclosure agreement and cannot say for another 3 years. (sorry).
I will tell you this: Most GOOD MM's make 100% on their capital with low risk per year. Exceptional MM's make 150% + per year for several years running. (The best trader I know makes 1 mil a month with an 8 mil limit). The MM cut is usually 20 to 40% of net profits depending on the order flow arrangements in place.
The firm puts up all the capital and you get 40% + in a no flow/ low flow situation, or you get 20% if a lot of flow is sent your way. (10 to 15% in cases of extremely high flow).
If AURC floats 1 bln shares to pvt investors at .01 per share, we will be the last to know about it.
No bash, just fact.
Still long and buying anyway. Target: 50 cents.
Good luck to all,
Vic
That's the problem. You assume that shares were issued since the last public filing, but you don't know. Nobody knows.
We're trading in the dark here. I wish I was an MM again. The % spreads and volume here are incredible.
Best of luck to you,
Vic
Mgmt has indicated about 103 mln shs o/s on 12/15/05 and 8 mln share float.
The o/s of the shell Black Rock Golf was 3.2 mlm shs when they stopped reporting.
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1012627/0000950134-98-004461.txt
So this talk of the old shell holders hammering the pps doesn't ring true for me.
The new company, Aurus corp., says they will raise new capital to develop the Russian gold properties:
"The company is currently in advanced discussions with several funds and strategic investors to finance the production increase..."
For all we know, Aurus is going to sell 1 to 2 BILLION shares at .01 to raise capital.
Pinkies and .OB's are pretty notorious for toxic financing schemes.
Full Disclosure: I am long 100k shares at .025 avg and will buy more if lower. BUT, It is money I am willing to LOSE 100%.
Good luck to all,
Vic
