completely agree ragmuff, i did a google search months ago, unlike kats seach that came up with 1.2 million/billion hits, mine came up with a more reasonable 1200. found two canadian companies, one had a new driliing method, the other had a new dht {down hole tool},carefull here a dht is anything put down a well that will do any kind of work!!!! i know, got one of kats mega hits on a google search. anyway the 2nd company has a tool put into an oil well that heats any water in the well, creating steam pressure to force the oil out. the 1st and 2nd companies look to have joined forces. oh, the 2nd companies down hole heater was tested on a well, the process increased that well's production 600 percent. the drilling company was very basic in that they drill another well near an older well, the older well is used to create pressure/however way you choose/the additional well is now the escape route for the oil and/or gas. HOLD EVERYTHING, i forgot to say what this has to do with regions, again from one of their vague pr's, how far can one go?????? anyway, i found these methods interesting, does anyone know how many wells already have water in them? also pizza and talked about this months ago, he passed the info on to jerry.

i would think with the 1 billion pr a year ago,and added leases since,jerry and the board know exaltly what the net value of the company is. after they hired people to price the transactions....yes????

see my post#28564,that is info our company already has on hand,and can furnish the market with at anytime! how much oil and gas do we estimate we have in the ground and what is the value at current market prices????? what do we own, and what is its NET VALUE??? i'm not asking for trade secrets. what is the net value of my company???? i'm tired of watching any market maker place 50/100 share orders and driving my investment down 20% at the stroke of a keyboard because my company won't provide the shareholders and the marketplace with a minimum valuation. jerry, without ever drilling a well, what is my company worth?????

i only bring this up because i was in another company about 5 years ago that the only thing going for them was their leases, third party evaluation said they were worth 4 cents a share just for their leases!!! anyway,same day as that pr, i bought at 3.5 cents,it went to 4 cents a share and bounced bettween 4 and 6 cents for almost two years/but never went below four cents again based on net assets!!!! GO REGIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

dear sir,
i completely understand the company's need to keep certain things close to the chest. however, i fail to understand my company's need to keep from shareholders the bare minimum asset valuation of our company, based on the value of our lease holdings. "x" amount of estimated oil/gas on our leases times the x/price of oil/gas would give us a net asset valuation to our share price, thus supporting our share price at a minimum. you and i both know there are oil industry standards for this type of valuation. this would not reveal any secrets/i.e. flow rates for oil and or gas/which could increase the value of leases we may want to purchase. Mr. Griggs,my gut tells me my company is worth more than 2 cents just on value of leases alone. why is our company not supporting even the 2 cents a share the market is placing on our company? it has been said that engineers/geologist/3rd and fourth party reports are all done before the company purchases a lease. here is just a guess on my part/anyone in the oil industry in oklahoma and texas already knows thru the grapevine what/where/how much oil and gas/price/etc etc etc. regions has aquired any leases for!!!
yet, here the shareholders sit waiting/wondering what the bare bone minimum value of their company is worth/1 cent/2 cent/10 cent ???? Jerry, i can't think of any reason why our company hasn't supported the share price with net valuation while we continue to aquire assets.
