keep up the good posting. it is educational and informed and shows good due diligence. i am part of the cheering club hoping that we can achieve our business plan. getting a scientific outlook from a shareholder helps me to understand what i don't know. You purvey good rational thought.
clearly you have a different opinion of my postings of conversations i have had with BLO's management. I have some questions for you: Were you there during these conversations to know what was said? Were you privy to our conversation by means of a conference call or spyware? I am heavily invested (by my standards) and will do due diligence. I don't record the conversations but merely relate my opinions. They have my phone number if they want to dispute my postings and this hasn't happened so far. I accept this as a longterm investment and I believe this is an idea that will come to fruition. Somebody will get a working model to market and I hope it's BLO but there are competitors and I consider this a race. I have concerns about mining promoters that jumped to the greenrush and kudos to Cannabix for not trying to grow pot but promoters promote and their job is to generate capital to keep projects alive. In their promotion there can be embellishing statements that border truth and reality imo. I am staying long because it is still a good bet. glta and dyodd
i am not an attorney. just a concerned investor doing due diligence. There is no dispute amongst most investors that this Breathtec start-up might be cannibalizing our cannabix deal. Surely i am not the only one with that concern and everything i post with reference to my conversation with Cannabix is my honest perception. glta and dyodd
he changed my mind too when i talked to him. we need to skip over the bs news releases and get focused on thc mipps. I think he is giving way too much weight (and money) to fancy monikers and the cbd market is full and growing which spells less profit. The Canadian market isn't a big issue and focus should be on getting a thc product on the shelves in Colorado, Washington and all the other rec legal states. It's already a go in the US. First the States, then North America, then the world and finally the universe. Lost focus for a minute like our CEO and team. glta and dyodd
Inventions cost! Hound might be getting ready to launch an ipo and dangled a teaser out there to raise awareness. They haven't proven a thing to the best of my knowledge except the market runs on fear (and greed). Malhi is a promoter that ran with a good idea. They did the best they could before bringing in the big guns (Yost) at the u of f. When that happened my personal opinion is that it added a lot of credibility to Cannabix. Yost has a reputation that he doesn't want tarnished and I think he has Malhi's hands tied. When I talked to Malhi he told me he has launched 10 or more companies. It's no surprise to me that Breathtec would piggy back on a new style breathalyzer and I raised the issue of conflict with him and one mention of IIROC and the SEC got him very defensive that he wasn't crossing any lines. It doesn't hurt to keep them on the straight and narrow. This is a good idea. Somebody is going to build a thc breathalyzer and all we need is a thc breathalyzer to reap some reward for shareholders and who better to build one than the Yost group who have points for building a blood alcohol breathalyzer. Police will want it and trucking and transportation companies won't have anybody left to drive when drug testing becomes mandatory for all public driving jobs. We already have swabs and ptests that are yes or no devices but subject to lab delays and lab expenses. THC is a unique drug that requires a definitive answer whether somebody is safe to be behind the wheel. We have the objective. Now a device!? glta and dyodd
This whole THC breathalyzer maybe needs to be focused on whatever molecule in the THC makes you high. If it takes about 2 hours to process the high but the THC is still readable in fat cells and hair and urine and blood we might have to dig deeper. Common sense tells me that it's not just THC but something more minute in the THC that gives the high. I know people that smoke pot all the time that don't show signs of impairment to me but they must smoke it for a reason. Personal experience from my youth gave me enough knowledge to determine that I wasn't safe behind the wheel but that was back in the days when the thc levels were a tenth of the strength that they are now. It seems to me that THC that has been processed for a couple of hours loses the impairment factor so what is it in the thc that we should be looking for? glta and dyodd
i can't wait for the mipps and oil sales to hit the market. My crystal ball tells me that we will have to go to storefronts for the rec products. The laws they need a changin and then watch revenues spike. Consumers like to be able to see, feel and choose products, especially rec products. glta and dyodd
I think most of us knew that this would be a red or black bet from the first time we heard of this new invention for the times. A good idea will generate a lot of interest and some participants. This latest Hound news release has put some fear into investors and investors that are scared will exit and sheeples will follow. I always felt that there could be somebody like hound showing up out of the woodwork, working behind the scenes and coming out with a momentous statement to announce their presence. This announcement was vague and seems to be un-accountable. There are some very good posters on this board with a lot of experience and some brilliant posts that give food for thought. I wonder if this tag molecule that has been mentioned would give a reading on its own? Even I know with my limited to non-existent science back ground that this is not a slam-dunk invention for anybody. When I invest i try to learn as much about the team as i can and i invested in Malhi's team because it was a good idea. I gained confidence when they recruited the Yost team and U of F who are accomplished and respected in this field and have generated 30 billion dollars worth of inventions. Yost was instrumental in developing the bac breathalyzer which is as close to a track record as we can come imo. The other contenders didn't seem to be motivated until Cannabix made their move towards the development of this idea for the times. I still maintain the barometer is inside sells in public for people to watch for before they bail on what could be one of the best investments they will ever be privy to. I haven't seen any since we became Cannabix Technologies. Be brave. Everybody has the same obstacles to get by and unsubstantiated news is just rumour. glta and dyodd
Welcome to race day. Cannabix is in the lead, Lifeloc stumbled and WS is bringing up the rear. What's this??!! There is a dark horse coming up from the rear so fast that I think he could lap us with his bac/thc breathalyzer. Cannabix shows a lot of promise holding patents and this race is far from over. We know this is not a slamdunk because all the hopefuls in this race seem to be having problems fine tuning their devices. The patents might hold weight and there is always patent infringement and royalty's to consider. Cannabix's management has lost their voice or are pre-occupied with the new baby. Anybody in this race has the same hurdles to get over and it's funny that we are just hearing about this company now! glta and dyodd

Google Hound Labs THC Breathalyzer
The medicinal cannabis scene is strong and growing in Canada. The recreational is doing well in the underground market but i suspect is weeping into the pharma market through compassion clubs and dispensaries. Supply from licensed producers is capped by Health Canada and the Vancouver market place has flourished through loopholes being supplied by permitted growers to fill their shelfspace. What makes this all work is that the Police have more serious crimes to punish. Canopy Growth is squeaky clean and above board legally and politically. They have a much larger plan judging from their aquisitions and this canopy of companies has contributed large effort in shaping the medical market and educating the public and government (Health Canada)to bring safe medicine to the consumer. The latest election has opened the door to legalization and recreational use. There is good reason for government to set up a safe distribution system for both the pharma and rec market and that is taxes! The Vancouver market ,from what i understand is being supplied with untested product through quasi legal suppliers. The rec market holds great promise for Canopy Growth's bottom line and the other licensed producers (google up Health Canada licensed marijuana growers) to supply safe tested med/rec product to the consumer. The rules as they stand are stringent as are the testing requirements by HC. We could very well be a model for the world. Canopy has partnered up with several companies to gain their edge and the business plan is good. I've always felt that their will be firesale buyouts available as some growers will fail and that may be the case with Peace Naturals as the next aquisition, to get their patients and grow facility. I also see international sales on the horizon because that is just too large a market to ignore and our partner Nutritional High has made inroads into the US. This will take time but it is a race. California seems to be the holy grail with 30 plus million potential consumers. Existing liquor distribution systems would fast track distribution for recreational and the pharma system would be a good fit for medicinal product because of the subsidization to patients by their hmo's. Just my thoughts. glta and dyodd
Canopy growth also announced a "partnership" with Nutritional High in regards to going to them for oil extraction expertise. It seems to me that CGC got some good benefit but not much was said about renumeration. My guess is that there might be some reciprocity of grow expertise in return sometime in the future so that that quality product is made available in the US. The CBD's can move freely with some paperwork internationally and maybe EAT is using CGC oils in their health line of product. Canopy has shown its intention to sell marijuana infused products and may contract EAT for mip supplies rather than tooling up to produce their own. This is a rapidly changing industry that is waiting for the politics and legalities to do catch up on both sides of the border. Nutritional went straight to the idea of mass producing quality products for the bigger American market place while CGC is breaking out to also include the recreational side while adjusting to the new rules in Canada that are changed to legally allow other than bud forms. The politics don't allow THC across the border and it could be years for this to happen but the know how can be shared. EAT is such a good fit for Canopy that I can see them being next on the aquisition list. If Nutritional High is as far along as they are implying then we are close to the same league as Golden Leaf, just not the same price yet. At the 5c range for EAT this could be a penny popper. glta and dyodd
i don't know how i forgot to mention that. it doesn't hurt to remind people to keep there eye on insider sells in public.
Blo or Blozf, i'm ok with a one trick pony THC breathalyzer. That's all we need to launch this product. It needs to be small, portable and able to do what it is designed to do. Nothing else. I agree with medchem that trying to determine if you have cancer while driving stoned is crossing some kind of line. I'm sure that we are all aware that there are already instant tests available in the form of swabs to detect drugs in a person but that test incites the dna problem which the legal community have worked hard to keep this out of the hands of law enforcement. Spit separation is suggestive of spit concentration which spells body fluids which no officer wants to handle and any other body fluid test require lab time and money. The medical profession needs body fluids. What we need is a THC breathalyzer that operates like a blood alcohol tester. Nothing more. Necessity is the mother of invention and this device is going to happen. My due diligence tells me that we have first strike advantage and I think we have lined up the right team that specializes in this field. Others smell a dollar too so there is no doubt that it is a technology race. glta and dyodd
was there any mention of the most important partnership imho of Nutritional High C.EAT? Is CGC distancing itself or is EAT going to be the next addition to the stable. There is lots of pondering over possible market share in Canada and whether CGC can be profitable in Canada alone. Nutritional High has gone public saying they "partnered" with EAT for their oil and mipps expertise and common sense would tell me that this might be a two way deal with CGC/Tweed/Bedrocan portfolio of companies sharing grow expertise or just outright buying out EAT. Don't swallow that Bullchit that Bonno is flinging around about quality and pesticides. It's my personal opinion that we are on solid ground with Health Canada's inspection process. Ceo of Nutritional High David Posner has told me personally that he doesn't want to pump the stock but I did detect his sincerity when he responded to my e-mail by phone. If EAT can get a good launch in the US they could scoop CGC's efforts and do a reverse take-over, simply because of their rapidly expanding market. This would be a moot point if CGC has first strike. In the meantime GLH is promoting and expanding which is a reminder that competition is alive and well and there could be a dark horse around any corner. I own CGC from Bedrocan and I also own C.EAT. My hedge is Cannabix breathalyzer C>BLO or BLOZF stateside because this genie isn't going back in the bottle. glta and dyodd.
What does CGC bring to the table. Reproducable, consistent quality and strength, government tested and approved, safe, pure pharmaceutical quality THC and CBD marijuana of several different strengths grown as medicine for patients. In Canada marijuana is only recognized legally as medicine but is interchangeable for rec use too depending on which way you lean. Our brothers and sisters south of the border are very loyal to American produced products but my understanding is that most of these are privately controlled and don't let the little guy invest. The feds stateside are in a conundrum about their rapidly changing perception of the marijuana business and have opposing forces detracting from safe investing and banking with investors running the risk of having their hard-earned cash being scooped as proceeds of crime. Our Canadian junior exchange has filled the need as a go-to necessity for public marijuana companies to raise capital to launch or expand marijuana related businesses. Canada is on the verge of recreational pot imho as we have a liberal government elected on the promise of legal or decriminalized marijuana posession and usage. We are clearly hand-tied because our medicinal market is limited but hold the hope of a rapid expansion if the government gets their way. A few companies have gone "international" with grow ops and manufacturing facilities in the States that are pro-marijuana. Canopy Growth is a Pharma company that I believe has an undefined relationship with Nutritional High C.EAT or SPLIF on the OTC. Nutritional High has oil and mipps expertise that CGC has partnered into and what Nutritional High gets in return hasn't been defined. My hope is that they are a takeover target because it is my opinion that CGC needs the US market or at the minimum will share their grow expertise with Nutritional High to supplement their mass marijuana infused product line with the best consistent quality and strength magic ingredient available. There may be other growers that can grow quality product but CGC is proven. Quality will never go out of style. glta and dyodd.
I think the big issue is DNA being collected through blood, urine and saliva. I don't know for sure but i'm guessing that breath won't do dna. This is clearly not as easy as it sounds but the 2 hour window seems to have merit to exclude regular smokers. The body fluids issue also requires lab time which doesn't solve the problem of urgency to remove the impaired driver. Any entrant trying to achieve this device will have the same legal hurdles and lawyers will argue anything for billable hours. A rapid detection thc breathalyzer will have to be nigh on to infallable and I feel very confident that the Yost group will crack this problem. Lifeloc took a $2 dollar beat down today sharepricewise. My suspicion is that the Yost group might be reigning in the promotion by Cannabix until they get it up to their standards. They have a pretty impressive record for developing electronic metering devices. The acceptance of a working breathalyzer will find its way to acceptance because it's the right thing to do. glta and dyodd
the barometer that i am watching is insider sells in public. i haven't noticed any since we morphed into Cannabix Technologies. If there isn't good news to support share price when the insiders start dumping into the public market they are ringing the warning bell. One of my gold stocks just got whacked 25% when the insiders exercised their options and sold them into the public market. Insider sells are more important imo than insider buys especially when they sell them publicly. T.PVG is the gold stock if anybody wants to see what insiders can do to a stock. It's also a buy imho. www.canadianinsider.com for those that want to do their own following for canadian stocks and level 2 is important to see how much balance there is between volume ask and volume sell. I don't have a good US site for insider trades. If anybody has one I'd like to check it out. Thanks in advance. glta and dyodd
I too am in deeper than I should be in this stock, mostly because I recognize the reality of the situation in the ever expanding all-things-pot market as the politicking and law making catch up to the recreational usage and most countries have already bowed down to medical usage. I drove commercially for millions of miles and followed a lot of people that were obviously stoned. I got regularly drug and alcohol tested and can see the need for a rapid detection device to check for drug use. I also saw several people lose their jobs and rightfully so. This is an invention for the times and I follow and do due diligence on this company and others. We are getting lots of attention and lots of press. So much that the price got ahead of itself but free press is a good thing and when we get a workable product this will drive the price to multiples of what it is currently. If the demand is great enough we will have to split the shares for a bigger share float to meet demand. I had a $20 thousand dollar profit in this at the high that i didn't take off the table because I, like Ingstrng are in this for dollars not cents. Our closest competitor Lifeloc who already are involved in the blood alcohol breathalyzer were flirting with $37 share price and still garner $11. This could be the penny stock play of the century if we are first with a working product but there might be competition out there that we don't know about yet. There is a good write-up on SH under C.GLH bullboard (ryan) that expands on the growth that the marijuana industry is expecting, especially California. It's quite an eye opener. I feel that this is the time to wait or if you have any dry powder, to buy some more C.BLO. glta and dyodd
Breathtec being launched was at the very least bad timing! There is a thin veneer of difference between these two companies. So thin in fact that it could be argued as conflicted but the potential is astronomical. I have concerns of the new baby cannibalizing the older Cannabix both in investment capital and brain drain. The investment group responsible for the two companies are going to take care of themselves first with options and warrants but I haven't seen any sells in public since Cannabix Breathalyzer morphed into Cannabix Technologies. People are talking on these boards of a combining of these two companies. There is no doubt about the technological synergies by this one method of testing which could be construed as one and the same. Imagine if breathtec has advanced to the holy grail of breathalyzers to be able to detect more than one drug in addition to disease recognition or if they have been able to quantify THC levels. This would be a disaster for Cannabix which has only one claim to fame IF we get to the market first. It would be a short run right off a cliff tantamount to a rip-off as they would launch their device that could do so much more. If there was any kind of an amalgamation of the two companies the principles would be sure to slop at the trough first with more options and warrants for themselves. This is a scenario that I have seen happen many times in the mining industry and I would hate to have the potential shareholder value scooped in a slight of hand deal. I'm okay with a one trick pony thc breathalyzer and there will be others to follow, just not too close. glta and dyodd
my guess is management is rubbing their hands in anticipation of exercising options when we get a spurt in shareprice. so far there are no insider sells in public. this isn't this teams first rodeo and just like most of us are hoping we have a tiger by the tail. This is a red or black bet and there are others (lifeloc, WSU) that think it is do-able. It is a great idea for the times but management putting more money in is highly unlikely imho. They already have a new baby (Breathtec) as a back up plan which suggests to me that the THC breathalyzer is going to be a one trick pony which if we succeed is going to reward shareholders handsomely. glta and dyodd
I can't find the link but I'm sure someone else saw it. nothing earth shattering by way of news, it just confirmed that police are hoping for such a device and Cannabix was mentioned. I hope there is something more substantial coming because I have noticed a little more airtime for our company.
another teaser last night on Global TV Toronto. There is a lot of interest by media and doing interviews is a lot cheaper than paying for advertising. We are definitely leading the pack in the search engines forum and the legs we get from media. Malhi is keeping this simmering and there isn't much noise from any potential competitors that I am aware of. I think there is a lot of dry powder out there waiting for an investment with this potential which could bode well for future stock splits if/when we catch fire. glta and dyodd
That's an amazing clairvoyance skill you have to be able to determine failure for the Beta model that hasn't been produced yet. If I could see into the future like you I would be buying lottery tickets. In 1900 we couldn't fly, in the 60's we flew to the moon. We are in the age of exponential growth in technology and somebody is going to produce a THC breathalyzer. I hope we are first. It's a tight race as others think this is achievable but we have first out of the gate advantage and have partnered up with some very capable people. We got a lot of bang for the buck in the promo department because the world is watching and expecting this in the near future. Everybody moving on this has the same hurdles to jump to get to market. If you are that convinced that this is going to flop I would dump my shares and move on to something else if I were you. glta and dyodd
looks more like a goat than the bull we are looking for. lol
One short media teaser and a news release got this kind of trading action. Kind of spells out the recognition of this as a good thing. We haven't really heard anything new but as I mentioned before, I think the Yost group adds a ton of integrity to this group of promoters and my guess is they wouldn't stand for a big pump and dump. I hope the big volume today is insider buying in public or non-insiders catching on to an idea for the times. glta and dyodd
just about the time i'm venting about no news Cannabix gets a shot on Global BC with a teaser about our THC breathalyzer. Maybe we're getting close. glta and dyodd
Is the new baby (Breathtec) getting all the attention. I raised the issue of conflict between the 2 companies with Malhi and was berated for even suggesting it. I think the same principles also have a connection with Bullmarketrun which isn't a bad read and seems to be knowledgeable about this group of investors. Cannabix isn't their first rodeo but the good news is there is no insider sales in public. I speculate that the Yost group has the wherewith all to bring this product to the beta stage but my intuition tells me that, with their record of accomplishment, they won't introduce it until it is right nor would they be involved with any unjustified promotion by................promoters. This is an invention for these times but some of us convinced ourselves that this was closer to reality than it was and our enthusiasm and dollars spiked it up prematurely. Our competition thinks this is do-able too. I hope we are first with a winner. glta and dyodd
insider buy in public yesterday.
Lawyers will grey-up any scenario including a herbalyzer blower to get a retainer. Cannabix is in a race to get a working THC breathalyzer over the hurdles to get it to be as mainstay as the alcohol breathalyzer. In Canada the breathalyzer just takes the opinion of the officer factor out of the equation to get the suspected impaired driver off the road and down to the better, more legally accepted and accurate breathalyzer at the station. The acceptability of conviction based on these findings is still argued in court by some but my understanding is that most are convicted. It is usually technicalities that get an impaired driver off. Lab tests are time consuming and costly and the chain of command of the sample is a big legal hurdle but if you are suspected as impaired in a serious accident where you can't give a breath sample you will be invasively tested at a hospital for blood or saliva, hair or urine which they are prepared to deal with. Police don't want anything to do with body fluids and thus the need for a THC breathalyzer. This is a case of necessity is the mother of invention as social acceptance is finally becoming mainstream but common sense depicts that impaired driving should be penalized for the betterment of society. It is a race, more so because of the dollars to be made, but I am convinced that Cannabix was first out of the gate and the Yost team has the mojo to get this product to market. I think this could hit 30-40 bucks just based on Lifeloc's share price. Breathtec, when it becomes public will probably be a worthwile futuristic investment even though I had concerns of overlap with Cannabix. The rapid expansion of technology will give us a one for all breathalyzer to detect any kind of impairment in the future but targeting pot smokers is a good first step. glta and dyodd
Once the Yost group got on board with Cannabix for the THC breathalyzer project it added a mountain of credibility to the acheivability of this invention for the times project. I don't think Yost with their remarkable track record would have touched this with a ten foot pole if they didn't think this could be done. The holy grail is a breathalyzer that will detect everything but that is so rapidly changing that the focus on the marijuana impairment is a focused and timely goal as usage gains acceptance. The common sense factor in society are mature enough to welcome this for the safety of ourselves and loved ones. Mahli and team, while closed lip, have grown this business plan from recognizing a need, to an alpha stage device. My due diligence tells me that this is not as easy as it sounds but the Yost group, I'm convinced, has the know how and possibly even an existing technology that can be tweaked to a saleable item. I am convinced of the need for this invention and I am hopeful that we will get there first. Shareholders got the stock price ahead of the reality of the situation, on the concept of it being a good idea. I think we are positioned now for a steady march forward pricewise and a considerable jump in shareprice when we get the beta model. glta and dyodd
ps. i'm staying long to the finishline.
i must of missed the newhire news. sounds like he's got the right stuff. where can i find the nr to read? Thanks in advance.
just noticed the edit button. i'm still learning.
elusive, not illusive. too long out of school
Share price seems pretty tight considering we are waiting on news. I'm hoping all the weak hands are gone. The beta model seems to be elusive but my due diligence tells me we are in capable hands with the Yost group. My guess is that when we get to this stage that it will be a top drawer product that can stand the scrutiny of the legal barrage that will ensue just as the lawyers attacked the viability of the blood alcohol breathalyzer. Technology is advancing in leaps and bounds and the Yost group is instrumental in the electronic magic for a lot of this success. Cannabix took the initiative to develop a THC breathalyzer and certainly got bang for the buck in the advertising and promo department. There are not a lot of others coming to the party and oh what a party it will be when we get to beta stage first. Needless to say, I am excited by this prospect. glta and dyodd
Thanks for the welcome. I surfed this board once or twice before but Ingstrng inboxed me that this was a good active board so here i am. Lots of good posts here and i will try to do the same. I have been on the SH board but i'm getting pretty frustrated with the sight. seems to have gremlins all the time. glta and dyodd
Hi,
first time poster here but have been following for awhile. There are some great informational posts here. We got hammered a little today but I keep my eye on the insider sells in public and there aren't any that I can discern from the Canadian side since Cannabix Technologies was vended in. I had concerns with BreathTec's arrival and raised the issue with a letter to the company. I suggested that there might be a conflict of interest because of the similarities possible through this type of technology. It didn't take long to connect by phone and I was assured that there was no concern. At the very least it was bad timing as was the fact that this stock got ahead of itself and got called out. Having done a little research on the Yost group and U of F I am convinced that this group has the potential to bring this to the Beta stage. They are responsible for 30 Billion dollars worth of electronic wizardry used by the world and while I understand that getting THC levels out of a couple of breaths is harder than it would seem I believe this team can do it. If there was any doubt about the necessity of a device like this I would be long gone. There are a couple of other companies that have poked their heads up to create a THC breathalyzer but my personal opinion is that they are late to the party. Time will tell! My guess is that first to the finish line will reap some great rewards and that should trickle down to the shareholders. Anybody on the US side that can give me a good site to follow insider sales south of the border would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. glta and dyodd
