I wish the move up would get started.
I won't average down but I've dry powder and am looking forward to buying at 3,3.5,4... as the risk lessens.
I think this was discussed before but my memory ain't what it was.
In the company presentation they talk of completing the Vitaros RTD development in 2014 with a hoped for life of 24 months.
Does this mean the 24 month clock till it can be ok'd hasn't started yet?
SB once described himself to us.
Most of the terms he used would be considered unflattering by many.
He seemed proud.
He recently mentioned his "east coast style".
My wife is a booking agent for a major cruise line. She says it's almost a given that an east coast caller will be bitter, demanding and nearly impossible to please. Callers from the rest of the country, pretty nice.
From an organizational point of view, I'm pleased we put them all in place.
I'm breaking a major trading rule of mine by owning such thinly traded stock but I see this companies potential as huge. I'll be very, very happy when volume gets to a higher level.
Could someone tell me the easiest way to access the earnings call several hours after it occurs.
Was talking about you.
Could someone please tell me how to use the ignore feature.
There's a broken record I'd like to remove from the Wurlitzer.
I'm thinking the vet thing could be big but that's an uneducated guess. Anyone have any thoughts?
Their earnings call transcripts are almost indiscernible.
I feel like I'm playing a puzzle trying to figure out what they actually said.
You could buy with uncleared funds and put a tight stop on an equal amount of already owned shares.
I may not mention Femprox's lack of popularity with the lesbian community?
Really?
Your posts vacillate between depressing and euphoric.
Are you bipolar?
Here's why I think the pps could go to the moon.
With guys it's binary. Either it's up or it ain't. Bragging rights if you don't need any help.
Women are totally different creatures(like y'all didn't know that!).
A woman's arousal and satisfaction have always been a case of "it is what it is". NOT ANY MORE!
Once Femprox is deemed safe and is made widely available that's all going to change. It won't take too long until the media catches wind of the fact that thousands and then millions of women are suddenly enjoying the heck out of sex(Cosmopolitan may have to do a special issue!) Women across the globe are suddenly going to wonder if in fact they're not brimming with potential and all they need is the right catalyst. Even a woman that currently ranks her arousal and satisfaction as an 8 will be dying to know what 9 or 10 is like.
I find it hard to believe that any doctor would have a problem writing a "curiosity prescription" to any and all who ask.
And no problem with the delivery system. Women love lotions and potions, just look at Walgreens or Walmarts health and beauty aisles.
I know this will sound like I'm drinking the Kool- aid, but I think Femprox could be the most widely prescribed drug of all time.
Just out of curiosity, what time our time is this thing tomorrow?
I'm thinking the vet thing has potential.
Great outside the box thinking. Wonder what else they have up their sleeve?
Pretty much the way I see it too.
I see the rsi and the macd, but no wilder adx.
Does this theory hold any water?
Partners all think Vitaros has potential. Maybe blockbuster potential. But there are some unanswered questions.
Since the licensing cost wasn't huge( and therefore not overly pressing)they decide to go the slow route. Target the guys that are already injecting and the guys for whom Vitaros is going to be the only option.Get some feedback. Do they love it? Do they stay on it?Are the side effects big or no big deal?
Let's say they allow a year. If all goes well(as we all hope),they're ready to take on the whole damn ed market. Toe to toe. To avoid having one hand tied behind their back they'd just as soon do that with room temp. So when mid 2015 became early 2016, early 2014 launches became "later this year".
Curious, why aren't you and jsbeach CEO's?
I would liken it to listening to an old married couple fighting.
SB, I'm with you on a lot of the things you say but I think you're all wet on this one.
In his own words the guy says he's stressed. HE'S the one you should be pointing toward mutual funds.
Little confused here.
I understand they removed the poison pill but is a buyout inevitable?
I mentioned buyout awhile back and the response was with the way they did the multiple partner thing thus far they hardly seemed to be positioning themselves as a takeover candidate.
I was also under the impression ex-US Vitaros royalties and Femprox upfront money would fund Femprox USA and possibly Vitaros USA which in turn could fund the development of the much better NexACT ( with a much extended patent time frame) which could then be applied to a multitude of prescribed and otc drugs and licensed to other drug companies.
That all could take 5-7 years easy. Why agree to a buyout with all that ahead of you?
I'm with you. APRI is about 8% of my retirement portfolio. It would take quite a bit to shake me out of this stock considering the potential. Hoping to sell in the 2021-2024 time frame after all they've got is baked into the price.
Not trying to beat a dead horse here but how would you have him keep his promise of launching in early 2104?
Are you suggesting the partners are ready and willing but APRI is holding them back?
In regard to the launches, let's say you had the power to fire him and hire his replacment.
Specifically, what would you have him do/say?
I also won't judge Pascoe on getting a European Femprox deal done as I think that's a lock.
The costs, timeframe, and regulatory pathway are appealing. Someone will most assuredly bite.
The terms may not be as good as we would like as we need this trial done bad and everyone knows it.
What I will be judging Pascoe on is Vitaros USA.
In advertising they say a customer has to see an ad 5-7 times before the brain registers it and feels compelled to act.
At the Roth conference Pascoe mentioned a US Vitaros deal so many times that by the end I was convinced he was giving a subliminal wink and a nod.
If a lot else goes right I might view it a bit differently but right now that's where I set the bar.
I have a bit of a hard time judging Pascoe on when the launches happen. As has been previously mentioned on this board it's COMPLETELY up to the partners at this point. Probably not a darn thing he can do about. I sure the hell hope this isn't a "you can't handle the truth" type deal as in everyone is afraid to pull the trigger. As an established partner who in no way needs a successful Vitaros launch to survive I would probably prefer to wait for the room temp. Risk/reward thing. Yes, some of the deals were made on his watch and I'm guessing the company might like to reword them. I think that's why Morton was brought in. I'm good with that.
Learning from ones mistakes is all I could ever ask from my fellow man.
But with a tight stop on these additional shares.
Not really adding to my position as much as a little speculating.
APRI didn't go to the moon with the rest of biotech I don't think it sinks to the river bottom either.
Buying.
SB, if memory serves me a while back you said you were out at $4. I don't really have an opinion on that(it being your money and all) but I am curious as to what your thought process is/was.
I'm good with calling it a misunderstanding.
One of the reasons I stopped posting on this board is DG answered one of my questions with the opening statement "it's not rocket science". and to make sure I understood my limited mental capabilities he ended his post with "again it's not rocket science".
One of the guiding principles in my life is to to avoid certain types of people and devote that gained time to others.
That being said, my secret hope is this becomes as either Eicoman or Value put it, a "darling stock" that the investing world falls in love with.
Witness Netflix or Tesla.
If all goes as planned, and that's a HUGE if, why not
$100 pps or beyond?
Is it possible Abbott is trying to optimize the shelf life to make it last longer then we're thinking and therefore have to wait for that lengthened amount of time to prove it lasts as long as they say?
I meant dilutive equity offering.
With Gray Healthcare being a 29 billion dollar company 6 million doesn't seem like a lot.
Is it possible a deal could be worked out instead of a dilutive financing?
One good thing, at least for me, is that due to this ongoing saga I think the pps slowly grinds up instead of popping into the stratosphere.
I like to average up(never down) so that would suit me just fine.
Thanks. Had trouble finding much info in Googleland.
Can anyone my question(s) in this previous post?
Eicoman, I was reading your comments in a recent SA article regarding DDAIP HCL and DDAIP PCT.
Sounds very pertinent to Apricus's future.
A few questions that come to mind would be:
Does this mean Vitaros and Femprox could face generic competition around 2020 or would just DAIIP HCL/otc products face this problem?
If Apricus reformulated Vitaros and Femprox with DDAIP PCT would that require a resubmission to the regulatory bodies?
I could think of more but these would be questions born of ignorance so if you could enlighten me on the subject it would be greatly appreciated.
As an aside, while I'm generally not big fan of message boards the APRI board has been a wealth of information and I thank you all.
