I'm rubber and you're glue...
LOL
and yet another chuckle...
that from a guy with 3 aliases....good one
I got a chuckle out of that...
Here's where I think you are missing the point on the whole short discussion....
I don't think the stock is being shorted now or even for the last 4 or 5 months...I do think that very deliberate and patient covering has occurred over the last 4 or 5 months and it was done at such a slow and steady pace so as not to cause any significant rise in the share price...
I would suggest that by now, several hundred thousand shares have been covered....how much time is left to continue to do that is the question and there in lies the risk of that type of position.... The lack of a deal has allowed for that to occur, but for how much longer will that be the case..up to this point, the strategy has worked in their favor...as dread said, this thing can go up as fast as it goes down...when it runs it will run hard and fast.....risk reward...
A bulletin board stock like TOVC, with low volumes can be a play toy for marketmakers...anyone that thinks that manipulation of these types of stocks doesn't occur, has their head in the sand..personally, I'm not concerned with the day-to-day movements or even the weekly swings on this stock because it remains a one deal launch...there are impatient frustrated shareholders of TOVC, some of whom post here. There are also people that have an agenda and alterior motives regarding TOVC.....some of them also post here...
So while you naysayers are having a fun day, I say enjoy it while you can..
Also well said Trucker...
including the point on the motives of a guy on his 3rd alias...
Well said dread......
If that's what I was saying, I would have said it...
The price has actually stayed in this range for months...it's traded in the 1.75 to 2.00 range since September..it's actually up from the 1.50 level...
no.....
that's why it is being done very slowly...I am waiting patiently for rapid acceleration caused by an event.
on the contrary...
I believe the shorts have been slowly covering for a few months....but they still have a long way to go...can't do it quickly due to not enough inventory available...I imagine that I'm correct about this topic....
Hi Leit....
I think that filing indicated that the 10K would be filed within 5 days, unless I read it wrong..that's not unusual...
My interest was heightened by the other comments in the highlighted paragraph...reading the tea leaves..I see dots everywhere..LOL
Interesting filing just popped up..

Maybe the airlines should try it..

Even the small one is the second largest picture ever posted to this forum...!!
diesel and racing are not commonly associated together..
interesting find..
Torque.....
"Where can I sign up for securities sold at market-place prices that offer a significant cummulative dividend?"

"Why would I purchase common shares @~$2.00 a share."
Restricted shares aren't for everyone's taste... there's a dividend but they have to be held for a year before they can be converted...
Check the filings on the preferred specs..
I think there have been an A and b class..both restricted, no multipliers, both carry dividends, one-to-one conversions...given the fact there is no debt service, for me the most important byproduct of the preferred sales is market valued cash to the company...the bills get paid..!!
FYI - my percentage was off on the preferred..it's not 1/10 of a percent, but it's less than a percent...an investment banker would want to structure a deal that would give them more than half the company...
Preferred dilution.........
These numbers are not exact but I beleive the company has only sold roughly 250,000 preferred shares....even with the recent addition of warrants, lets call it 300,000....thats roughly 1/10 of one percent of the entire outstanding number of TOVC shares...which is just shy of 30 million...thats hardly worth fretting over...it's also being sold at market which from the investor perspective makes sense...I was wondering how the company had been able to sell it $4 when the market was $2 for the common...now that's salesmanship..!!
The biggest dilution has come from the attempt to bring in outside management...that has cost us shareholders by far the most dilution....by a long shot....a few million share difference....
I'll take this "drip" method of cash generation, with minimal dilution, rather than being raped by an investment banker
interesting article dread...
"The company could also employ new technology to improve the mileage of its biggest guzzlers, which might increase the sticker price but would ultimately help consumers save at the pump."
Who says it has to cost more...seems like there is an answer in Pittsford NY
We saw the same thing...
This is exactly how the Torsen got launched...this is a significant development
I looked at the video a few times.....
It looked as if the 35 car equipped with the iso-torque is pulling farther ahead of the other car on each lap and was heading toward lapping the other car...
wow...speaking of the iso-torque.....!
I particularly like this part of the update...
"The video in the upper left hand corner of this screen can best be summarized by a comment overheard at the racetrack: “Quick as a bunny, the Iso-Torque car ran away from its playmate.”
As you watch and enjoy the video, remember that history often has a way of repeating itself."
Hi gap.....
Sounds like she needed an Isotorque...!
I believe that in addition to Audi and VW buying the Torsen, Porsche at one time had it in their 968...
gesundheit...
That would make 9 CEO updates since september..
I'd call that a decent amount of feedback to shareholders..
Yes....I feel totally foolish....
Thank you
That from a guy who has used 3 different aliases...
LOL...that's a good one
8-k filed this morning....
another $50,000 from an accredited investor in the till...
traveling till wednesday...have a nice weekend everyone...
That story on GM is truly amazing.....
How can that go on today...? The train we hear is the Shanghai Express....
Once again...
Agree with you 100 % as well as interpretation of Atl..
Approaching hyper-dot....
Hi everyone....
My dots are flying so fast they are approaching terminal velocity...
It's amazing watching the these giant suppliers try to make heads or tails on their P&L's....
Might I suggest that a few well timed, innovative product solutions might make some sense at the Dana's and Delphi's of the world...the fracturing of this side of the auto biz is painfull, however, the timing of it and the readiness of many of Torvec's products, creates opportunities for Torvec...there is a happy ending to this story...just don't yet know what that looks like...
Onward....
shervest...
this is same MO you used when you came on here as invest111...everyone knows what you are attempting..I just happen to be less patient with it...i don't care what you or dyna think about it...dyna's got the same plan
enjoy your day..
Hold on...
be back in a minute...gotta go clean out my garbage cans..
thanks invest
dyna...
what's with the reference to SAIC / Peng PU as the "deal with the China Man" ...very poor taste
I am now officially not surprised that you have lost a few million bucks investing in the market.....
Here's the quote from the post...
"he said that the Chinese are still waiting for the US Government to approve the Visas"
he didn't say they can't get their visas, he said they are waiting for them to be approved...
Say hi to the guys for us..
I agree 100%...
