I love this stock, but...

Here's your answer...

Hey, Monkey...there's that .125
Ummm, what? I didn't miss the cheapies...I've been here a long time, I have a large number of shares, and I want this uptrend to continue. I just don't want to get ahead of ourselves. That link I just sent you was the minimum requirements for uplisting. Did you look it over? It's not a matter of agreeing or disagreeing; the fact of the matter is that we have a long way to go until we'd be eligible for an uplist to a higher exchange. All I'm saying is that there is so much good stuff going on with PHOT, that there's no need for daydreaming. The actualities are super delicious on their own. We're on the same team, friend. I was just trying to keep things rational.
While I like your enthusiasm, it'll be awhile before that happens. The facts and actual possibilities of PHOT are more than enough for now...

One last thing...it's all explained really well on the interview on icannibas radio you can see up in the news feed. I recommend listening to that to get a feel of what they're up to. Very high risk/high reward.
The 40 million is basically to be used as money to finance third party grow operations (to navigate the federal illegal road blocks, of course). The share count is there for now, but will actually go higher as the 40 million was obtained through more convertible notes issued. It's risky. The company is banking on huge profits from the money they loan out to the grow operations. I think there are 7 stores, but it could be 5...I haven't looked in a bit. The revenues they've made the past year are basically from these stores, but the company sees more potential with this financing. Simply put, they're fronting growers and distributors and expecting giant profits as these people make money in the new legal market.
By the way, I appreciate all you do over at TRTC (I'm heavy into that one also). Don't let all the rudeness here scare you off...everybody is just kind of high and feeling snooty because of how much it's gone up. One more thing that has made this go up and up is the fact that PHOT is fully reporting with the SEC and has been for over a year. Everything it does is transparent and ready to view without fear of subterfuge. Cheers.
Hey man. I'm not surprised you haven't done the DD here yet, as you're the man over at TRTC and probably haven't had the time. I'll help you out...they just brokered a finance deal worth 40 million which they are using to fund growers and distributors in Colorado and Washington. It's called the GIFT program if you want to look it up and do more intensive DD. This is in addition to their 7 brick and mortar stores (more to come).
What a great day. Time to go to the beach. See ya'll tomorrow.
This is getting serious. I haven't seen an L2 like this during lunchtime all year. Wow.
Yes, where are the dude and the mullet? I get a little nervous when those two aren't parroting their one note birdsongs. I really wish they'd come on in and tell us about the hydrogen pigs and the scams and the what not.
Wow, a convergence of genius as the dude commiserates with the mullet. I am humbled to be privy to such elevated dialogue.
This one goes out to my savior, the dude. Iligence, thank god for you...
If I remember correctly, dude, there is one. And there's a millionaire's party going on there AT THIS VERY SECOND. Now if I could just remember which one it is and where I heard about it...
Bravo, Dude! Bravo. I knew you could manufacture a shiny new metaphor. I give it a B+. Would've been an A, but you missed last week's deadline, so I have to bump you down a notch or so. By the way, how's the millionaire party over at HSCC going?
You're right, crimson. They're banking on those kinds of revenues and beyond. It's a big boy bet, all in. I'm willing to put up my money that they pull it off because if they do...you know. If they don't, crash and burn. I like it that way.
It is Friday before the bell. I hope mullet's presence doesn't reverse its usual course. Regardless, there might be some tasty deals before close. Let's see how far down...I'd be surprised if it broke .08, but if it does, I'll add some more to the pile.
On a bright note, I think I just inadvertently came up with a great name for a country band...the mullets, the dudes, and the empties. Copyright!
You're right. It was just kind of a slow day and I...done. Thanks, Monkey. I keep forgetting that whenever the mullets and the dudes and the empties show up that it means we're golden. I should just revel in their idiotic presence and watch my account get fat.
Like how you dumped all your hard earned money into SKTO and AEGY? How empathetic and chivalrous of you. Shoo, fly.
Let me guess, boner...you got bored over at your usual stomping grounds (SKTO and AEGY), both of which have tanked badly (and will continue to do so) and you pulled whatever pittance you had left from those and decided to come over here and knock it down a bit to get a decent entry. Sound about right? Too late.
Agreed. The pullback happened. Things move fast around here. You missed your chance at .06's and .07's.
mirv, thanks for your due diligence, for sure. Glad we have people like you on here that don't land on either the cheerleader or the bash side...just looking to be informed and sensible. Cheers.
You are absolutely correct, but it's a huge gamble on the part of the company that the GIFT program will be so lucrative as to supersede all adverse effects of dilution. As always, it's a high risk, high reward move. If the GIFT program works, the rest is noise. They finally have the capital to see if they're right. It's on.
Completely. They alluded to the fact that this might be a bit painful in the initial stages, but in the long run...my god, the revenues could be completely ridiculous.
So a guy with a lot of money (Anthony J Ciabattoni) looks at what PHOT wants to do with the GIFT program and thinks he can make a boat load of cash by investing in such a great idea. However, he's a respectable investment guy who might want to invest the capital, but kind of from the shadows. So, he starts up a little company and puts someone else in charge and gets himself a whole lot of PHOT shares in return for (for him) a small outlay. Makes sense for all parties involved, Spiv. Do you really think that growers aren't going to take advantage of the GIFT program? Also, where else, pray tell, were Rob and Sterling supposed to procure the funds necessary to implement their plan? They saw the opportunity and took it. Is it perfect? No. But i don't think it's sinister or even as shady as you're implying.
DUDE...you could combine your pretty new avatar with this audio...
Hey dude...i found your new avatar...

Dude, I thought you left!!! Thank god you're still here. I was already missing you. Hugs.
Goodbye, dude
just woke up and now i'm singing this...
Just for perspective, one thing to remember...regardless of fundamentals or rationality, Colorado and Washington are a few short weeks away from opening the floodgates of a frontier marketplace. Media outlets will be on this like flies on stink and there are going to be thousands, even millions of new eyes on this sector. So many people are going to ask the same question we all asked ourselves in the recent past, namely, "wait, there are pot stocks I can invest in?" Look back at the infamous irrational deluge of new money back in February...it was fabulous and a lot of us made a lot of money, but I think it's possible that the new flood in the first half of 2014 will make that frenzy look downright tame. Just to maybe hone the scale a bit more...the entire OTC crashed a couple of weeks ago for almost an entire day and there was virtually no news about it. Seriously, did they even mention it on MSNBC while it was going? In other words, it doesn't take much to cause a crazy flux in these parts. I know that it seems like such old hat to some of us who have been here awhile, but the fact that pot stocks even exist isn't a known fact to 90 percent of the population, including regular investors who don't swim in the OTC pond. So, with all that said, if you were a noob coming across all this for the first time in the next little while, who would you pick as your pony? Let this thing get bloodied and bashed the next few days, weeks, months, for there is a day in the very near future where it'll all be moot. Couple all this with the fact that PHOT is an actual company with an actual leadership team that is working extremely hard to do everything they can to build a functioning, profitable business. I say bring on the carnage. I have a core position that nobody can have and I have a trading position that I ride up and down and up and down. Good times.
All good points. Healthy skepticism and vigilant inquiry will be of the utmost importance through these next few months. I'm glad that this company is transparent and easily accessible via email or phone. I'm hoping (and banking) that Rob and Sterling have the cajones to pull it all off...you can't doubt their ambitious nature. If not, well it's the OTC and I'd still rather crap out here than in a casino. From their tone, it sounds as if they're working long and arduous days to get it all done. Regardless of outcome, it'll be fun to watch.
Ummm...fail. Total fail. I understand everything you're saying. You say the same thing all day, every day, so I'd have to acquire a head injury to not understand what you're trying to say. Your argument is, has been, and always will be duly noted. I'm just bored with your limited metaphors. I expected more from you. Try again?
Dude, if you're going to say the same thing in perpetuity, will you at least come up with a fresh metaphor or two? The pigs and the helium were tired weeks ago. Your grossly repetitive point is duly noted, but at least show a semblance of creativity. One, two, three go...
True story. And I do.
You're absolutely right about hemp and there has been legislative change there, but that's not what we're talking about. And your doubts about profitability aren't unwarranted as the marketplace is a shifting and treacherous place. I think that Rob and Sterling are good and getting better at the navigation of these choppy waters. I also think ol' Derek over at TRTC has a few nice years under his belt too, and is pretty adept. I guess it comes down to who each investor thinks will sail them to the promised land.
Alan, the head of 420investor, is pragmatic and knowledgeable about investing. By the way, he was a guest on the icannabisradio.com interview and was allowed to ask several questions of his own. He loves this company. He obviously is down to ride the volatile waves as an investor with a few of these mmj plays.
They're not. This is high risk, high reward territory, but we're all aware of that. The GIFT recipients will be selling, growing, and/or distributing something that I think we all agree is lucrative and in high demand. In addition, Rob and Sterling both talked about tireless due diligence in selecting whom will qualify for their financing. I have confidence that they can discern who will make them money and who would potentially be a shirt loser.
