pretty funny :D thanks for sharing.
is this board dead or what?
HELLO!!!! ???? Anyone home?
I'm starting my DD on this company and am excited by what I've read thus far...
A few questions for any longs out there?
1. Did the patents come through for the waterless reactors?
If so, this is a big deal... did you know that water supply will be a major limiting factor in the biodeisel industry... just look around at the ethanol plants being built and the ridiculous amounts of water they use... Nobody realizes just how limited our water supplies are becoming! Biofuels are accelerating this process.
Therefore, a waterless reactor would be a huge advantage in the long term.
2. What is the current O/S?
I saw they were voting last year (2006) to push to 400 million... sounds pretty small considering the share price and the big contracts mentioned on this board.
3. Any other dilution going on? Loans from financiers, etc?
Okay, I'll search for these answers too and post em if I find them.
peace to anyone who actually reads this (i'm not sure anyone will)
Gbathat (pronounced Gee-bat-hat!)
I would say from first glance that they are a weak competitor without a chance against lthu, although their scenarios for battery use are pretty advanced.
there is nothing on their site indicating that they have a good battery technolgoy like that of lthu.
going to that site does give an idea of the great possibilities out there for lthu.
From what I can see (which is everything except the tiny font at the bottom- thanks for a very nice scan!), the add says to take a test drive at www.spooztoolz.com and does not mention a specific release date.
it is a really cool add.
haha, ask size is 0.00 with no askers:D Does that mean nobody is selling anymore? I hope so!
gotta say, pretty exciting to hear the buzz about the earnings potential... that would have kept me up last night too
with regard to the website edits, just email the spooz crew... I found three last week that were a lot worse, and they fixed them as of yesterday.
seeya'll after work
Gbathat says... June 26th!
Need a whole four days to manage the launch, one crazy monday to double check everything... Sounds like they're putting the final touches on this week.
see previous posts about this...
I'm not too particular about the specific release date. I just want an announcement stating when it will be.
I don't know if any of us can explain or predict what is going to happen exactly...
What we do know
1. No more dilution from the company
2. Last dilution was somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 million shares
3. We've been moving enough volume recently to see those shares disappear soon (sounds like people on this board alone have bought 10% of them!)
4. BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE COMING!
Bottom Line: The current large supply is dwindling fast, and demand is expected to go up a lot with the announcements, which means... share price should increase, hopefully by a lot.
Let's get the word out this week!
Hey all,
I've personally been really impressed by this board and think we should increase our efforts in raising awareness about spooz and the valuable info on this board.
I've taken this liberty at another board I frequent, stockwire.com (actually following in the footsteps of bobadilla over there).
If you all could do so at other boards, it could help build the ihub community even more and increase the visibility of spooz at this important time. So go on, start a new post about spooz and this board somewhere.
thanks for that info wildman... i think you're right... Paul probably has nothing to do with this, just the financiers changing strategy.
New Theory
As I noted before, the selling approach changed drastically today, succumbing to low bidders to a higher degree.
Previously, the ask price was continually around 0.0033 throughout the day. Today, it drifted with the bid price.
What if Paul had some sort of agreement w/ the financiers to limit their rate of sales in such a manner that the stock price would not plummet? What if then, after realizing they would make a killing off the forthcoming announcements and snuff out any runs, he gave them the green light to sell away, just to increase volume and get the dilution over with... he may have thought the buyer base would be able to absorb this... but then the buyers got smart due to our message board and started bidding lower and lower, knowing well that the financier would cater.
So, to some degree, the strategy is working in that the volume shares sold went up. However, the share price was not as robust as anticipates.
I'm still excited about this stock... now officially in the million-shares club.
What worries me is that the price dropped and the demand for low cost shares seemed fairly small (relative to the extent of the drop) compared to what we've seen in days past... as if people out there aren't aware of the company's bright future. Perhaps that is our fault for only hanging out on this board and not getting the word out more.
different type of selling today...
The last few days the ask has been consistently at 0.0033 most of the day, with occasional bail outs to lower price and resulting huge volume
Today, the tactics seem different, with the ask generally just .0001 above the bid... kind of interesting.
Financiers changing tactics? Or are they now off the map?
Or are the mm's moving in because they smell the forthcoming frenzy?
still waiting on Thursday's PR!!
in the future, please don't post such info without sources
excellent! you are right... sorry i was just doing it from memory... which apparently is not very reliable:D
okay, maybe my ticker is just not picking up the volumes today for some big buyers, because my volume chart is showing much higher volume.
i'm using scottrade.
What is going on with the low volume? I wish I had more money so I could buy more shares at this low price....
are people not seeing the value in this stock?
Their conservative projections for revenues are a few mil this year, a few dozen the next, and about 1.5 hundred mil the third. I think they'll crush those projections!
$2000 / ( 0.003-0.0028) = 10,000,000 shares you must have dumped yesterday to save $2000
Hey everyone, popeyes is the financier! =D
0.003 is average sale price yesterday, 0.0028 price today
don't worry about the share price
the ask was mostly at .0033 all day, just temporary cave-ins by the financiers... usually they let it go back up at the end of the day... maybe their getting close to being totally sold out and just don't care about the closing price anymore
if that's the case, that's great for us so they won't snuff out any rallies like last time
does anybody have an idea about how we could estimate the number of shares that the financiers still have?
-----------------------
Warning: I have no idea what the heck I'm doing... subsequent posters please correct my efforts
If I recall correctly, I saw numbers on the board like 600K... were those referring to dollar amounts?
Based on that, assuming 0.003 per share, they would have started with 200 million shares.
At an average of 12.9 million shares per day traded (last ten days average), assuming 10 million are coming from the financiers, that would put us at 20 days. Any volume spikes would obviously accelerate this.
Okay, that's probably totally wrong, and hopefully someone can straighten it out and give a better estimate.
article about toyota's lithium pullback
interesting editor's note at the bottom of this article... makes you wonder if lthu's prius was far superior to Toyota's! Maybe they'll want to strike a deal with lthu! That'd be sweet.
article from http://news.windingroad.com/safety/japan-report-toyota-postponing-lithium-ion-prius
Toyota is postponing the use of lithium-ion batteries in the next Prius, according to Japan’s Nikkan Kogyo newspaper, citing safety concerns.
Lithium-ion batteries are big in consumer electronics: compact, light, and packing a sizable storage capacity, they can also bring trouble. Remember the exploding PC battery scandal that rocked Sony last year?
Compared to the nickel-metal hydride battery pack in the current Prius, lithium-ion would be the neater, more technologically advanced solution, and in Toyotaspeak are “close to the level at which they can be mounted in cars.” But, the paper says, Toyota has put caution before innovation this time round… and being mindful of Toyota’s quality issues and soaring recall rate of late, maybe that’s a sound choice.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Interestingly, the news coincides with Lithium Technology Corporation’s announcement that they’ve retrofitted a current-model Prius with plug-in lithium phosphate cells, giving the car a mileage equivalent in excess of 125 miles per gallon. Read more about it at the link below.
lthu has patented processes for manufacturing, so i imagine that complicates the sub-contracting a bit
I am glad they are taking on the productions side as well. Other companies in the battery industry offshore their production since their processes are much worse for the environment.
it will go back up starting at 3 pm.. just a hunch...
not gunshy... i've already bought more shares than I planned and have limited funds left... just want to maximize my resources... I know, annoying to the longs, sorry!
we should get one more chance around 2 pm, unless the PR comes out, then we'll just have to make do with what we've got.
hey, i was going for that!! ;) HOpefully we'll have another chance.
I have an order in for 150K shares at 0.0029
trying to get into the million-shares club before this thing blows up
if i don't get my order filled by 2 pm, i'll probably up my price
if that announcement comes out though, i definitely won't get the order filled. i'm still banking on those financiers to be dropping shares, which is pretty dumb of them at this point, but maybe they owe the mob some money.
thanks for all the nice posts... it takes me 15 minutes twice a day just to read them all! and I enjoy it!
On their way apparently, if you read the address.
It's good that they got away from Cornell... anyone know anything about those other financing companies?
This is about what I expected at this point.
I'm still optimistic about a deal with an auto giant, but only time will tell. Perhaps that cannot even be discussed until they increase their manufacturing capacity.
sorry to all who sold out... hope you got back on the bus before it took off! Next stop, $2!
I've noticed a wierd trend in the stock the last week or so (not counting the last PR day)... seems to start off okay, then dip towards midday, but then miraculously climb back up to near the starting price before close.
This suggests that the dilution is being done with the shareholders in mind. It is also refreshing that people are willing to drive the price back up at the end of the day.
I guess I should look at the volumes to correlate with this...
thanks!
sweet, i picked up 250K more at 0.003... are people nuts or is this still dilution going on?
thanks for all the good info lately
definitely... and some will get burned when the next news comes out and they can't get their shares back.
mm's scared people down I think... easy to do after such a big surge
i just don't see how people can be so foolish with such a promising company.
interesting definition of elaborate, but I can wait two days and find out for myself I guess!
Thursday's PR??? please elaborate!
Should you buy wwat stock?
hmmm... let's see...
http://quote.barchart.com/texpert.asp?sym=wwat&code=BLION
wow interesting jump and fall in share price today... can you say panic selling?
Hey people- this one's a hold!!
