Exactly!
I think someone reminded you of bottled water
But all kidding aside, I do agree with your thoughts on the race horses. A very big business (and I believe) with the need of MMR services..
3F you keep saying this,
"The fact is that people are having a hard time coming to grips with the idea of spending money on something they have always gotten for free....medical record storage."
and I keep saying i have never been able to store my own records. You keep talking like a hundred is such a great amount of money. Yes there is a portion of the population that will never afford MMR, unfortunatly. They don't go to Doctors or dentist or own pets. But the average family man with 2.5 children ( ) and fido will swing (in due time) a $100. Two less trips to Mickey D's a month (maybe)
But with the "always had it free" already. Work on the horse thing.. All is good
Damn I lost the bet that you would have jumped on this with-in the hour it was posted..
It's always a good feeling to see a CEO put his money where his mouth is..
Your a trader? Oh that's right you told us that (about a hundred times) Yawn!
Z
I agree with your "strength" comment...
No, actually it was his comment to you that I thought was EXCELLENT!
Fox and Friends are getting ready to do a piece on these clowns in the next couple of minutes..
I hear that!
If it's working for you, great. I have learned over the years that you get what you pay for. I may be a little anal with the security of my documents/info but i do not mind spending a little money for that peace of mind.. It's all good..
Yeah that's what I was trying to say..
Good post, thanks
I remember filing my discharge papers after retiring from the service and everyone said file it with the county clerk's office so if you need a copy it's there. They forgot to tell me it then became a public record for anyone to see. I now have a copy in my account (safe and PRIVATE!) GLTA
Sent..

I'll pass it on tonight during happy hour
OK
I'll stick with what i have thank you.
Just a quick question, do you have all your sensitive documents stored in any of those zillion FREE services? Just curious
Okay
I don't see it as such a piece of cake, but what do i know, I'm not 26 anymore (my son is older than that) and oh by the way he has a subscription for him and his family, he sees the future.. To each it's own... GLTY
So the Dr office burns down because the pizza shop next door burns down, poof you paper records are gone.
So I guess we'll have to wait to see you when you grow up. Babyboomers are in the demand right now... See ya soon..
Do you have a paaport, drivers license, insurance policy, pictures you will one day charish?
Probably not on your mind right now, but one day you may say, "why didn't I...."
You talk about medical rcords, I see that and more... GLTY and all
LOL I don't normally agree with you but I will give you that one...
Again i don't mean to come off a bit slow here, but what was free all my life?
If I may use Pilot's life experience with his son.. If I remember he was able to pull up his son's medical recorda in two minutes in a different Doctor's office, which had a great impact on the treatment provided. We never could have done that years ago.. Years ago I didn't even know we could ask for a copy of our records.. Again I'm missing your point but I will conclude by saying I sleep very well at night because I got introduced to this concept of MMR's.
** Pilot I hope I didn't butcher my paraphasing of what occurred to badly.
3F
who knows maybe that may be one of the patents we are waitin g on, no? (186 pending if i remember correctly)
sorry I'm just an average guy, i can't afford paid service here..
Back to lurking, I'm doing good today, no deletes so far. I don't want to push my luck...
I have never gotten the security I have today with my account "for free" I don't understand what you mean?
I'm not saying abandon all other ideas and just go with the average person. Go Big!! I agree but don't forget about the average patron who will go in the drug stores and start there education. Months ago I thought advertising on the Weather Channel would be benificial..
Opinion on billion dollar companies: that's was the problem, BILLION dollars. I believe they thought they could throw money at it and the use of their brand name would make it a success.
They didn't sit down years ago and think up hunfreds of patent ideas, they didn't reach out around the world and so on...
Well just to keep the discussion going here, the people living paycheck to paycheck aren't buying anything ie.. car insurance, life insurance, a night at the movies (unfortunately). Trust me, the people i referred to are average, darn sure not Hollywood types..
I think most of the struggle is from the general public not being educated. As we discussed last week, many people in the mid-west would have signed up had they knew both the capibilities of MMR and the destructive weather. Education is one of the keys and i think the drug store idea will help towards that.. IMHO
I don't know if I agree 100% that nobody will pay for this. Allow me to explain;
Two week-ends ago I had a cook-out. There were approx 10 couples there. I was talking to two of the guys while their wifes were mingling. We were talking about the bad storms throught the mid-west lately. I brought up MMR. Both thought it was a great idea. Long story short about 30 minutes later two couples came up to me wanting me to explain to them what I had told the others. The last I heard, five couples were signing up, and two of them were also getting a subscription for their kids families. Granted these people do know where their next meal will come from, but they didn't bat an eyelash at $100. for all that MMR does. (not sure about the two hundred you mentioned) It's just not a medical record holder, i find the other folders are just as importatnt, if not more. Now that im pretty well set up with my account, I still visit it on average of once a week. It another insurance policy to me. it insures I can retrieve any document I need, at any time, from any place. No brainer...
You keep making statements like that, Bob will own that tire store and you will be working for him.
Good to hear, thanks
"Bob Lorsch wants out and is doing all he can to get out."
You know this to be a fact?
I'd bet there are many many people in the mid-west that would have gladly paid $99. in order to save all that they had lost.
The sales team needs to get the word out so the folks involved in the next storms have the chance to save their medical records, important documents and family photos..
Yeah, Tiffer is probably on his roof top dancing the jig!
Again a very good start on sales..
It's a good start..
Ouch! So it's safe to say he's not on your christmas card list...
Well if BL doesn't answer you question what makes you think you'll get an answer on a message board. Guess you are just not going to get that question answered so, asked and not answered, so move on to the next question Counselor..
3F that's my thoughts as well, if it's determined $3mil (which we would all probably die off before we saw all of that) instead settle for 2 payable in 30 days type scenario. But I agree that's not the cake of this company it's just some icing.
would you mind going a little deeper in the weeds with that response?
That should put a couple extra bucks in our piggy bank!
I see your point and don't totally disagree with you. He does do his blog quite often. Always respect you views, but was just a little confused on that last one. All is good..
I'm confused, why is it BL's job to teach. I want him to run a company. I'm a car salesman so i have to teach my customer how to drive before I sell him a car? You want to catch fish, you better know what you are doing before you go out on the water.. JMHconfused O
Good to hear 3F, we'll keep a good thought out for him..
Tiffer, S7, Frank, Tulaz and many more have gotten into the weeds of some of these offerings and over all they say that they just don't match up. And like Recon says alot of them may be infringements for the most part. I think the more we advertise, the stronger the company. The public will catch on when they figure out they can save valeuables from disasters. But we (MMRF) has to scream the message from the highest mountains! I love the company, hate the stock (at the moment) but i believe things can turn over on one deal/judgement! Added to my stash today, never thought i could buy at these prices. JMHO.
It goes back to old school, You get what you pay for..
