Hostile takeover talk is interesting...but I would call it a leaked buyout offer made by the opposite BP...whomever is going to step in and make that final last buyout offer will make sure us shareholders are aware of the price so the pressure is back on the BOD to defend themselves and the company. Lets say BP A ... or BP A and B...put offer forward for $50 buyout and leak it out... now the BOD and CEO need to disclose and give the reasons why we are undervalued at $50the pps buyout. Either way... shareholders ultimately will win and again...who the hell is going to short this stock going forward!

We...PPHM are in a position to move forward and clear the "going concern...." officially on our next cc. Further ...I see the slightest possibility that once our deal is seemingly sealed, what BP or 2 BP's would step forward and make one last final offer to buy out the company? Its not out of the realm of possibility

The possibilities may be infinite... one scenario would be something that parallels penicillin.

A mini-Bavi shot that would go thru your system and target the onsight of cancer ... and stop it in its tracks. ( I wonder if they are experimenting with this at all.... I am not even sure if its possible to inject one set of rats with the smallest amount of cancerous cells and give them a low low dosage of bavi ... or something along these lines ?

...hard to say anything about the phase IIb trial data? I hope you cancel explain and halt all progress of the BP who is possibly going to fork over big $$$$ for upfront payment to Peregrine....they will be saving lots of money ....unless they find it critical that the MOS is the bottomline that patients are concerned about to extend their life longer than any other treatment that is FDA approved as of now to : )

Lets just say the the FDA will be basing their approval with much...much....many mucho much more on MOS than what you are concerned with.

I guess we will all find out over the next three months!

Great to hear Merger/Acquisitions at 4 year high for the bio sector! We're already over 25 Billion in 2012... vs 10 Billion in 2011. It gives me more optimism that just possible PPHM is in play for a buyout if the price is right. I know that buyout figure gets higher as the trial data keeps improving and just maybe... there is one BP that will make that move before one of their competitors.

I disagree...we are much further than 1.5 months beyond MOS...lets think logically here, I believe that having held meetings with 15 BP's as of last conference call ... tells me there is much more going on than you think

I got in at 2.64 today..... brings my breakeven to about $3.20 but I would have much rathered find this diamond in the rough now to buy instead of averaging down the last 5-64 years and increasing my blood pressure! You are sincerely saying that you believe trials are not scientific? And Garnicks statement "most compelling ph II or III results he has seen"... and this is one Dr. that has brought 17 other drugs to market...most notably Avastin. I believe after their last conference call that the nay-sayers are becoming more convinced that PPHM is in the right ballpark on the goods to fight cancer. This stock will not be held below $20 with two more months of the MOS being extended and one more conference call like we just had.

very true! Watching PPHM drop to historic lows while many of us knew the upside potential was devastating to watch! Ironically... those who believed in the science were able to increase share positions and at least reduce their break even point. More interestingly... I was finding it difficult to find my break even point due to the rolling over to a ROTH IRA which has reduced my taxes big time in the long run! Every $1 increase is more like a $1.50 - $2.00 increase when you take into account that you can take it all out tax-free at 65 years old. The tax savings allows me to watch my break even point surpassed today!
