Tsafi, can you please answer a few TA questions for me?
Always trying to learn more, and I have some rookie questions about "playing the gap". I am Very interested in your opinion.
1. Do you believe that "the market abhors a vacuum and all gaps will be filled"?
or
"Exhaustion gaps are typically the most likely to be filled because they signal the end of a price trend, while continuation and breakaway gaps are significantly less likely to be filled since they are used to confirm the direction of the current trend."
Can you think of any examples of each that I can review the chart on?
2. What is the best way to classify the difference between exhaustion gaps and breakaway gaps? Is it volume? High volume should be present in breakaway gaps, while low volume should occur in exhaustion gaps?
3. Does a candlestick "tail" count when filling the gap, or does it need to be a full-bodied candlestick fill?
4. Do you believe that once a gaps starts to fill, it will not stop, since there is no immediate support or resistance?
(I am interested in hearing all opinions on the subject, if anyone wants to jump in here)
not quite Cheev's...

Tsafi, Whaddya think about a short position on UA?
Insiders sold almost 4 million worth at $64.36 - $65.57 already this month.

Dilution Machine. You might catch a little bounce but this co is a serious POS. DANGER!
Good call on GRRF, looks like the Q is gonna be Ugly...
"Due in part to an increase in sales of base station RF parts and components, we believe that our revenues for the three months ended June 30, 2007 exceeded revenues for the three months ended June 30, 2006. As of the date of this prospectus, we estimate that we had revenues for the three months ended June 30, 2007 of between approximately RMB195 million and RMB220 million. As a result of lower gross margins, arising from market competition and increased sales of lower margin base station RF products, and increased operating expenses, including increased research and development expenses, increased marketing expenses and expenses incurred in connection with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance work and other professional fees, we expect that our net income for the three months ended June 30, 2007 will be substantially lower than our net income for the three months ended June 30, 2006."

Cool, shouldnt we be looking for it to fill that gap to $10?
GRRF
Cool, let us know if you get any response.
Somehow I doubt you will.
Looks like many of us here should have followed your investment philosophy more closely...
Investment Philosophy: Don't Hold Pinkies!
LUM Halted.
How can they put out a "Corporate Update" and not even mention the most important issue?
When will we have our MM?
Have they even filed the application?
On June 14th they said...
"The company is on track for Market Maker representation, which we feel will result in the company being at the proper level of share price. "
We havent hear ANYTHING about our MM since....
Thanks, watching closely for now...
Boots & Coots earnings fell. Reported after close yesterday.
Tsafi, what do you think about GRRF down here? Never been this low before. How low can she go?
Q coming on Aug 14th, second quarter is typically one of their better quarters of the year (other than 4th Qtr).
(I know your going to tell me to wait until after the Q)
I just dont really understand the impact of this recent PR, can you explain what this means?:
GRRF, "announced after the close of trading in New York on July 30, 2007 that the secondary offering by two of its pre-IPO private equity investors of a total of 3,296,114 American Depositary Shares ("ADSs") was priced at US$9.65 per ADS. The US$31.8 million offering represents a sale of approximately 13.18% of the Company's outstanding ordinary shares. China GrenTech will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of the ADSs by the selling shareholders."
It looks real tempting down here, she hit new lows this time last year before turning around in Sept...
GRRF bottom fell out....
When the first store opens and the place is packed and they can show revenues, THEN I believe you WILL see "prominent black or white celebrities stumbling over each other to invest"...
Amazing pics!
Im still looking for a good entry on those, I really like that gap to fill on GRRF and the PPO/ADX squeezing nicely...
I got preoccupied with flipping LEND on FRIDAY and couldnt concentrate on anything else! Wow, that was exciting!
huh? budskie??? WTF does that mean?
agreed, just plain rediculous!
No buying since 9:36am....
What was with that late day run yesterday and then nothing today?
Just over 200K shares and less than 6000 dollars took this thing from .02 to .035 yesterday.....
ANY significant buying today and BOOM!!!!
These all look like good entries from here....coming off the bottom...
