Yeah. Shoot the guy and get the girl. LOL
That's correct, but I think L2I can induce the Company to release some information if they feel there is a fiduciary
duty on the part of the Company to give us an update.
BTW, Carol told me that Christine is putting more time into the work she is doing for Aurus.
Farkin' Parkin.
Very insightful, Carl. It's funny that you used the same expression I did today, that we need something to "hang our hat on". I also asked her to throw us a bone to chew on. And in an email I sent to Mme. Lagace I said their silence was hurting her company's reputation.
I have a feeling I might hear from L2I tomorrow, and I will try to reach G.P. as well. Of course, I'll report any bone they throw my way.
That's a great idea, bishop. It's been a while but maybe he'll remember me when he hears my French accent. I'll call him tomorrow. Thanks.
Benz - I, for one, would like to see you stick around.
I like your Rammstein videos. Please just take it easy on the
information you post from unnamed sources.
Benz -- I believe you are sincere, and that you got played by your source.
SR -- I thought I would mention that Lagace and Legault have been in business for eight years and, according to Mrs. Lagace's secretary, the company knows all of the scams, and L2I has never been scammed by anyone. Carol also said L2I would never have taken Aurus as a client if they had no real assets.
Carol told me Mrs. Lagace was away for three days last week
and was back in Montreal today but not in the office. She said she would bring my email letters to her attention since it sounded to her like an urgent matter.
Keep your eye on L2I -- I imagine Mme. Lagace knows more about what's going on than anyone here, except maybe emilyrobert who thinks Christine is stupid.
The rumor is that she won't call me back but will take action behind the scene.
Yes. I spoke to Carol today, Christine's secretary. I have sent the text of both rumors
by email to Christine and also left messages for her to call me. I was insisting that they give us SOME information about what is going on. I think Carol will let her know how urgent it is that they share some news with us at this point.
And don't PM any nasty rumors.
Benz -- If you don't want this to go sub-penny, why did you post this rumor again
this morning? It had already been posted by DOS. You MUST want the pps to drop.
I think your source is Emilyrobert.
Benz - Stop playing games and name your source. There is too much at stake here for many of us for you to withhold the name of your source.
Benz - Before you leave, state your source.
Benz -- Unless you name your source, this will always remain a nasty rumor meant to bring AURC to sub-penny. You seem like a nice guy, but your rep is that of a manipulative exploiter of innocent and less experienced investors. Please name your source so others can verify the information you continue to post as though it were true.
Nice to see AURC holding up so well after one hour of trading
(.04 X .042). The bashers are back in action this morning, but no one is listening.
Assumung the Company has decided to go ahead with the share dividend, a shareholders meeting and the buyout, I consider it quite reasonable for them to seek out a totally reputable transfer agent to work with. Apparently, Moe didn't fit the bill.
Joenatural's conversation with Martin Grancharoff should dispel
any doubts that a buyout offer of .55 was agreed upon. It's been three months since that conversation took place. No one has any idea where the buyout stands right now, but it is not uncommon for buyout proceedings to take six months or even longer.
My advice is to keep your eye on L2I. They are legit. They deal with microcap companies all the time in North America and Europe and they know how to watch out for all the scams that go on.
Christine Lagace communicates with the Canadian side but her contract was signed with the Russian side of Aurus. She is an astute businesswoman and will not waste time with a Company that has no assets.
The last message we heard from Christine was that she was waiting for Aurus to assign a reputable TA so she could go ahead with planning the SH meeting. She indicated that her contract will most likely have to be extended beyond three months.
The rumors are just a distraction. Real news is coming!
Personally, I am not giving credence to either rumor.
I believe the offer to buy Aurus at .38 was real. I believe the negotiated price of .55 was real. Kartix brought the parties together and Kartix is real.
Aurus paid their state taxes. That's real.
L2I is very real and so is their contract with Aurus. Moe's agreement with Aurus was real and their reluctance to pay Moe
was real.
L2I must wait for Aurus to assign a new transfer agent they trust before announcing when the shareholders meeting will take place.
Once a reputable transfer agent is in place, Aurus can exercise the 10% share dividend. True.
Aurus wants to appoint a new North American representative now that Jeremy Krause is gone. True.
Prediction: A new transfer agent in the U.S. will be selected. The date and place of the meeting will then be announced. The agenda for the meeting will be sent out to registered shareholders. The L2I contract will be extended as required.
The meeting will take place, probably in Burlington, VT. The share dividend will be distributed before year's end. And the buyout...
I believe the Board of Directors voted for it.
Not so silly.
Sorry I wasn't clear enough, to profit. I didn't sell any
AURC shares on Friday. Never have. I only sold some MCCY
shares after the bounce to buy more AURC shares after it dropped. I may do the same tomorrow if Friday's price movement repeats itself.
to profit -- I did something very similar on Friday. I sold some of my shares of MCCY in the last ten minutes of trading to buy 150,000 shares of AURC. I think I'll do the same thing tomorrow.
"AURC has some bills to pay, but has been producing Gold all along and we may get a cash divvy and the one for ten share divvy and at least the .55 per share. This will all happen at the end of the mining season and be over with by the end of the year."
Thanks for posting this information, DOS. Now we just need to get confirmation from the Company. All in due time.
Benz -- Is it true you would like to see AURC go sub-penny?
Or was that just another rumor? Please give me a straight answer.
This post of yours is just more venting with no factual news to report. Why do you waste your time and ours? When was the last time you called Lagace and Legault to do a little due diligence? Your description of Mrs. Lagace is rather insulting. I'm sure if we compare your business success with hers, you would be lagging far behind.
Wrong. Do you deny that Aurus has a contract with L2I?
This is a fact and it has been confirmed in a press release,
by phone calls and by email.
There are many such facts, but you choose not to deal with them.
Let's try to stay on the topic of AURC. A rumor can be news that has not yet been released, it can be an exaggeration
of the facts, or it can be completely fabricated nonsense.
By having an open discussion, we can come to an understanding
of what is true, what has been exaggerated, and what is false with regard to AURC.
Is there any information you would like to share about the rumors that have been circulating?
We want to know if the rumors are substantiated by facts.
Benz -- Maybe you can share with us what you know about these rumors.
DP -- My opinion is that the rumors should be posted on this board so they can be discussed and put to rest (if they are false). Secondly, you should let everyone know who started the rumors, and that person should tell us his sources.
If you want to defuse a rumor, bring it out into the open and see if there is a consensus on whether the rumor may have some validity. Someone must know something, and gradually the truth will emerge.
Part of the rumor that was being circulated today is that the SEC may investigate Aurus Corp. I don't believe the SEC is considering bringing any charges against the Company. I'm sure they have received many complaints from shareholders about the way the Company is managed and about the lack of news concerning the buyout, the dividend and so on. It's possible that the SEC may have contacted Aurus and, in response, Aurus is now taking steps to get its house in order by paying state taxes, seeking a TA in the States, seeking a North American representative, hiring L2I and calling a shareholders meeting.
If anyone has information about the SEC looking into shareholder complaints, please post whatever information you have. Due Diligence means we deal in facts, not in rumors. TIA
Some say post 66666 was the devil's work. If DOS had stuck to the facts, he would have been doing the right thing as Mod.
It was true that Moe was resigning as TA, as DOS reported. Anyone could have confirmed that with a phone call to Heritage, and several did.
DOS went too far in post 66666 when he added his speculation about Parkin's involvement and a suggestion to meet Parkin in a dark alley, as well as other unsubstantiated conclusions.
He ended up having to defend himself against all kinds of personal attacks, a scene we just repeated today.
If DOS is buying or selling, that's his business. If he wants to share that with the board, he can do that as long as it doesn't cause others to sell off their shares in a panic based on unsubstantiated rumors. IMO
Axel, the "good rumor" DOS referred to in an earlier post has to do with confirmation of some old news, that a buyout is going forward at .55, that the share dividend will be distributed and that there may also be a cash dividend. However, the "good rumor" didn't keep DOS from selling and I don't think it will induce many to buy.
We need to hear all news from the Company, and there are many things they have to clear up before the pps goes anywhere, at least anywhere in the upward direction.
DOS is a good guy, but, IMO, a Moderator should not repeat or even imply there is negative news if it has not been substantiated. Just report the facts. You can PM whatever you want to whomever you choose, but as a Mod, you have to deal in facts. You can interpret those facts and derive conclusions from the facts, but you must be very cautious not to create panic based on rumors.
That's right FastEddie. I was just following in your footsteps, buying up some cheapies in the last ten minutes of trading, ignoring the rumors.
Good move, FastEddie. I like your style.
Emily is right. The price dropped because the meeting
details were not announced. Even though Parkin is gone from
management, we still seem to be on Parkin time, disappointing to all but the most stalwart Aurus fans. On Parkin time, the meeting could be as late as Oct. 31, and L2I will require an extension to their contract to complete their mission.
The problem is in finding and engaging a transfer agent in the U.S., paying them, and bringing Aurus's corporate paperwork up-to-date. Then the meeting time can be set (they've probably already decided on the city), the announcement made, and the meeting's agenda sent out to registered shareholders.
Hold onto the shares you bought at .038. They'll probably be worth a lot of money after the meeting.
I think Malyshev really wants to uplist. He better be ready to elevate his administrative organization to a whole new level. I've seen the Company's financial statements and, in terms of presentation according to GAAP, I have to say I would expect more from a second year accounting student.
As I see it, he has two things going for him:
There is income from the sale of oil by NWOG.
He is close to completing the deal to acquire SNGF.
Combine this with top quality reporting standards and you
will hit .30/share by the end of 2007. Stay focused, Maly.
Keep your eye on the ball. And don't forget A-L=OE.
Je vois que tu peut speculer en francais et en anglais
egalement. Felicitations!
