How dare you question authority?
Just bow. The phrase be brief, be bright, be gone, does not fall upon many.
Leo selling off his 11 cent options?
Bivi(BioVie) recently posted via sec(4/18/19) that they severed ties with Aspire Capital(Mr Martin). There are a couple Ehrlich’s affiliated, or have been, with both ipix and bivi(never mind the other(s).
LR,
I must say, you have a long memory(or source). Appreciated. Thanks for them(memories).
Though he may not of won a Major since 2008, he did finish in lower tiers and made money since 2008.
Tiger won his last major(not Masters) in 2008. IPIX was founded in 2007 I believe.
Tiger's stock has returned dividends. IPIX is a candle in the wind.
How dare you question longwind.
You make good points based upon another poster's points.
" It's what a "Dad" has to do sometimes when money is tight."
Is "Dad" Leo, and is money tight?
How many here grew up with their Dad/Mom(or a friends Dad/Mom making even the equivalent of$8900/mo) today, yesterday, or ever, compared to the present day Dad(Leo) making $8900/month? Seriously, $8900/week for no results? Who pays that?
I suspect SOME answeres mays meander in.
None
Agree MackG,
IMO his past accomplishments can't be, nor shouldn't be ignored, nor should be todays win. Caught the end of yesterday and heard the result today. Glad for him, and Golf(I threw my clubs at the trees a few years ago).
When it comes to golf, I'm the king of slice and hooks. No one knows the woods better(I consider myself "the environmental golfer" given the amount of time I spend amid the tree frogs. And no one knows the water better either. Forget the Dockers and Nike cap, I parade around the 18 holes in my bathing suit(wet suit in the off season when in New England) and have become a certified alligator wrestler as a result.
Congrats Tiger!
seek the light(and LR),
Thanks to you both, for your thoughtful considerations and analysis.
I find it "dis-arming" of some here, who question others here, who simply oppose, and question, curious questions, and statements.
imho

Petemantx,
Understood. I’m not familiar with start up bio’s that need ~12,000 sf of space. From my experience, lab work needs not a lot of space. Manufacturing, on the other hand, does, depending on the output(I suspect a General Motors plant may require a larger footprint than Table Talk Pies). 100 Vehicles require more space than 100 pies, and 100 pies require more space than 100 pills.
Steve Jobs(and Bill Gates I believe) started in a garage.
Idk, hopefully they’ve leased out the lab space as you’ve noted. I know they declared last year that they were looking for smaller office space. I emailed management, at that time, that I have a close relative affiliated with MAJOR commercial real estate development firm in Boston and offered ipix their ear-to no response.
Last I spoke with the captain was last October, and will say he tolerated my voiced frustrations, suggesting at the end of our discussion that I call back in a week. I never called back as the sp continued to slide, and sits quite below the day of our last talk.
I know-let’s hope.
Imo
Pmtx,
Thanks for putting things in perspective. I agree, 3 main employees as noted, as well as one or two others(I think it’s more like one(whose from the north shore and was working two days a week in Beverly as of last October, the other I believe is now in CA).
Whether it’s one or two, or five, why pay $19,000 per month for an un-needed office? Cummings Properties has ample and spare office space at 100 Cummings Center that can be had for a couple hundred per month, leaving over 18k per month to pay a “phone answerer” and “maybe” even some in the bank.
Blanka,
Thanks for the the response.
“Only invest in the Science and the People Who are Behind the Science... “. Not only that, I invest, primarily, how those people transmit that scientific information. Ipix has put out to pasture the scientist(Menon)who drew me to this investment. Unfortunately, i’ve never been able to contact AB or JH(i’ve tried).
One person controls ALL elements of this company(office secretary, IR, CFO, CEO)which does not sit well with me.
Perhaps you find comfort in that sort of management, I don’t.
SS,
I am concerned with this investment, yes, and have questioned multiple parties((including management(in Beverly)), but have not sued. Only being proactive to protect myself and family which,I learned over time, is wise.
I hope to not feel the need to sue.
I don’t think he heard you.
I don’t think many, if any, have gotten goofy. I would use the word “glad”. I get your point about “recently”(the last time we hit today’s range was 3/6/19 on ~1M shares.), but between recent pr’s and past company statements it gives hope that things may be finally aligning, and that’s from one who has expressed frustration with management.
After the Enron debacle, and reading The Conspiracy of Fools, I decided to actively communicate my concerns, with any nvestment directly with company officers.
I do hope for the best with this investment, but consider their”means of operations”, particularly within the past two years, to go against business standards, and odd.
The ceo has not returned all my calls but, to his credit, my emails.
I sometimes feel(hope i’m not the only one) that I’m in the twilight zone.
Gita,
Rod
Says a lot about you.
Nice job.; and
Your “definition” twas’t my point. My point was(is), someone must answer, and convey what is important.
It’s tough to exchange information if no one answers(if ipix “products” are so earth chattering, why has nobody answered the phone to commit? Staff is shrinking, funds are reducing, the share price declining, even George has bailed!)
Ikn
You classify a secretary as a “phone person”? Where have you worked? Good secretaries are indispensable and key to a well oiled, and functioning enterprise. You unwittingly nailed it. Appparently the ceo needs 9k per week just to get by. Are you suggesting the fat man would starve on ~8k a week if he had to support a secretary at 1k per week?
https://courses.telegraph.co.uk/article-details/217/duties-of-a-secretary/
I'm now of the belief it (truth) has been laid bare. I believe there is a reason they(IPIX) no longer answer the phone, and will continue to pursue taking them to task.
"There was an Aspire Agreement in place and cash in the bank that could have been applied to that end but management opted to pursue Kevetrin, other Brilacidin uses and finally Prurisol, which died along with any cash that might have been used on B phase 3 for an OM. Again a Phase 3 is - too much money, but this time it's REALLY too much money."
The governance of funds by this company is astoundingly poor(by the accountant in charge). The above quote, presented by a member of this board, exposes the soul of "management", in my opinion.
Sway those you may, but certainly not me. BUYER BEWARE!
LR,
After too many years, my thoughts about this company have not been realized, based upon their(company statements) own words.
Thanks for an accurate summary of managements past proclamations.
Yep. And another (tweener)was going to buy “another” 50,000this week! Sure.
If that’s what you think then so be it. Your opinion can not, apparently, be swayed by well reasoned responses. FYI, nobodies cheerleader. I’ll sink to your level and state you appear to be a cheerleader of the ceo.
Idk, but will guess your battleship(argument) is about to be sunk by LR’s next incoming statement.
Thanks LR. That’s a lot of space.
What’s the square footage. Off the Beverly office? Must be close to 10000 (100’x100)sq for 20k per month.
Who “schedules” a meeting without assigning a date and time?
What will occur first, P Interim or the EMA meeting?
Based upon the past, I’ll only believe it when I can confirm it.
Should see a spike today I reckon,. Followed by a form 4 filing exercising 11 cent options?
Not yet have “managements words” tallied with their own statements.
Yes, or no?
I believe most would argue with winning powerball, based on past performance of ipix.
Jmoi
We’ll see, but after all these years I consider that another “forward looking statement”. Only two or so people know the accuracy of those statements, which, apparently, have not swayed the experts.
Will wait for the dot the i’s and x the t comments.
Thanks LR. Clear and concise I’d say, well put.
Mystiying to me, don't know. Worst case, lead by acquaintances, best case, by dunces.
"It's almost impossible to pitch a $0.11 OTC biotech with a few months of expenses (if that) in the bank."
Agree.
They had plenty of time before 11 cents,PLENTY, based upon their own pr's. Appears to me, they funneled the funds.
"we just to have faith that he comes through".
Can't argue with that(that he comes through, for retail shareholders this time), which historically has not been the case if one couples the price chart to pr's, and where ipix sits today.
He would have been long gone in ANY private company, irregardless of what type of business, simply based upon so many misfires, and give aways.
Why does he not reconnect with Don Seiffert, managing editor of the Boston Business Journal, with whom he's corresponded with a few times before. Pick up the phone and get the word out, Bain Capital has an office in Boston, along with many others. He appears to prefer to share company info with retail investors only.
I think jazz has always been nazaq listed. In 2008 they went from a high in the $15-$16 dollar range to a low of~90cents during q4 2008. That was a tough time for markets and economy. Their lowest quarterly high in 2008 was$2.10($5.52 in 2009) while lowest low in 08 was 91 cents(52 cents in 09).
There were a lot of cheap stocks in 08/09. Other than jazz being temporarily under a dollar on occasion then, they’ve been generating revenue since at least 2007, the same can not be said for ipix. Jazz and ipix do not compare in in my view.
I don’t think the issue is spending 2 minutes on the fda study site. I think the issue has more to do with being unable to corroberate the research with management, much like potential partners have, apparently, been unable to complete negogiations. Takes two to communicate. When one does not pick up the phone, the other stops calling.
