The comment is out of character for eric. However, there's more to it than you know. Another investor on a private Google group has mentioned on that board that he's had "heated email exchanges" with eric recently. Basically it boils down to this investor immaturely ranting at eric for not meeting this particular investor's expectations. I think he finally pestered eric too much when he sent eric an email shortly after friday's PR telling eric how the PR wasn't received well. I get the sense eric is fed up with the hand holding he's had to do, all the while he's working his tail off to bring value to us shareholders. I don't blame eric for a moment of impatience with this particular investor. Eric is an accomplished businessman with 30 years of experience who deserves to be treated professionally and with respect when communicated with. This particular investor seems to come across as if eric answers to him.
All this to give you the context of his "idiot" comment...
Hokie, here's an excerpt from the Ravenwood 8K. It seems that there's only 12 million shares issued and outstanding, and those have been returned. But the A/S is 300,000,000. Continuing the theme of speculation, if Hannover would merge into this shell, they still have plenty of shares to add, no? And I know, I know, to those reading this, this is just PURE SPECULATION. The disclaimer is no one knows what's going to happen. Just killing time while we wait:)
I know, it's just all speculation, but it helps to pass the time while we wait. Very intriguing to say the least though. No one knows for sure.
Yeah, I've poured through that 8K and saw that. Wonder what would happen if some people tried to buy the stock. At the .45 level, it may not be possible to get shares. I'm sure the market makers would have to short the stock to create liquidity which could be very good. Monday will be very interesting to see if there are any prospectors brave enough to buy RVNW as a spec. play, since that's really all it is at this point. But the dots are connecting very well here.
I think volatile may be an understatement for the next few weeks. Prepare for all sorts of twists and turns. I wouldn't be surprised to see massive swings both ways as people jockey for position pending the news. Some folks still think they're being fleeced here sadly enough. My response to that is if you think Eric is conning you, he's spent 30 years working up to this one con. He either is the master of all con men or he's really telling the truth and will be rewarding those of us who stick it out. I choose the latter as I, and many others, have vetted this guy's past. He's been a class act his entire career, and since going public, he's demonstrated that he's a first class CEO.
I wouldn't count Dean out of the picture entirely yet. Remember, there's still the PRO (Producer's Releasing Organization) that Eric/Hannover are tied to. Wonder how that PRO will fit into the equation here?
That's the same and only info I've come up with. The pieces of the puzzle are becoming a little more clear now that you've posted the first major piece of the puzzle about Bedrock acquiring a shell. Nice work. Wonder on Monday if RVNW starts getting some action. Who here is going to try to snag some RVNW?
Interesting. I'm going to dig around there. Might have to buy some shares in that new venture as a pure spec play...
Maybe that's why Eric hasn't disclosed who is doing the off balance sheet financing. Fotis is a bad word to many because of the past, and maybe Eric didn't want the new films being released attached to Fotis' name. If that's the case, guess he didn't think that through when the posters were being printed for Twelve. Now maybe we know who the secret financier is?
As long as they give Fotis a TV show that adds value to TDGI I'm okay with it...
I'd bet it would be Eric in control of both entities. Why would he leave Empire, reverse merge into a shell, then transfer assets to a new company and leave value behind without any control?
Do we know if Eric and Fotis had a relationship prior to the shell? Any oldtimers here know anything about that? May be why Eric bought the shell?
Clarity is coming very soon, Rain. Expect news as early as next week. We know Eric's intentions are to build value for the common shareholders of which he is the largest. Possibilities are endless at this point. What we do know is Eric has shown integrity and a desire to add shareholder value. Those not willing to wait to see what it is will be missing out on the biggest development to date in this company IMO...
Only problem I have with the whole he's part of the money is that he's had financial problems. It's a PDF, do a word search for Fotis:
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CBIQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fchrb.ca.gov%2FMinutes_Santa_Anita%2FMinutes_SA_10_04_11.pdf&rct=j&q=fotis+georgiadis+veterinary&ei=VbsJTO23L8T7lwez8PC1Dg&usg=AFQjCNETcdi3GxkQ9rL7I9LSsUdGleClNA
No problem. Check a recent post of mine. Fotis was in on Hounddog too. What do you know?
Another film with Fotis' name on it: Hounddog
http://millennium.ci.pleasanton.ca.us:90/search~S5?/aDow,+Ellen./adow+ellen/33%2C-1%2C0%2CE/frameset&FF=adowell+raye&1%2C2%2C
Wouldn't make any sense, he's not in the film industry at all that I know of. Interesting to say the least. Anyone know who Jeffrey Costell is, also listed next to Fotis' name and before Eric Parkinson's name?
Too much here for you to wrap your mind around. Very telling that that's what you see in today's PR. I see opportunity. I see the assets of Hannover becoming properly valued, i.e., a higher share price. I see a CEO trying to add value to the common shares - of which he is the single largest shareholder. I see a CEO not wanting to shoot himself in the foot by diluting as you suggest. I see a company and a CEO thinking outside the box to bring shareholder value to a rapidly growing company.
All you simply see is *sigh* dilution. I feel for you...
Thanks for the link. So the question becomes why would the old shell holder's name be placed on the movie poster? And who is Jeffrey Costell? Interesting. Spill it arsmal, what do you know?
Really, you ought to know better than to post a message like this without a link. And why do you keep harping on Fotis? There's no verifiable connection between Eric and Fotis except for the fact that Eric bought Fotis' shell. Are you playing the schoolyard game I know something you don't know?
It's not me that knows, it's tom8toes. And that's just my two cents on his earlier post about not selling any shares. He's intimating that he knows something and we shouldn't sell any shares. Duh. But I don't know that there's anything to know that all of us here don't already know. We're just waiting for the good news to come our way. It will...
Sounds like someone knows something...
Thank you. I'm off the life support now.
Thanks. I think you're going to find out that there is a specific reason that they haven't been filed. That has to be the case here. Last two PRs, taken together, really dropped some hints. It's a trust game at this point. Those of us that are in now will make a huge premium to those who are "waiting" for the financials. There's zero question this is a real company, so I'm not sure why all the folks are waiting on the sidelines for them...
I know it's cliche, but I'm thinking maybe a monster run? One can hope, right?
Great post, and I agree, none of the 200 million debt shares are still there. Nowhere near enough volume for that to be happening.
Not a dumb question. Hannover would have to have all the rights to a movie to reap any rewards for the toys and trinkets, etc. Since Hannover is only a distributor, that won't happen unless they morph into a powerhouse some day.
As to your jinx comment, we've all felt that way one time or another in any stock we've bought. Just reread the due diligence documents, read the boards and try to be patient. You'll be glad you did. Remember, you don't lose anything until you decide to sell.
Great observation. You have to spend money to make money, and it really is miraculous that a pink sheet company has found such favorable financing at this early stage of the game. Imagine if they're on a legitimate exchange and transparent. I'm guessing that's the name of the game here.
He has no intentions of checking/answering his questions. Differing viewpoints are a great thing. Many of us here have learned quite a bit over the past 5 months from all sorts of viewpoints. These ridiculous claims never lead to anything constructive and offer no further knowledge about TDGI. They serve one purpose, and I think we all know what it is. I've made my point, not only to him, but to the thousands of people who silently troll this board every day. He's been given ample opportunity to prove his outrageous claims, yet he chooses to dodge the question. I have no further posts to this guy. In fact, I'll never even see his posts again :)
Are you still NOT going to answer the outrageous claim you posted recently about the company "dumping shares"? You can't just ignore that. You made an outrageous claim, and I've posted at least 4 messages to you to back it up. Final chance, then you go on ignore. Let's see your concrete proof that the company is "dumping shares" here and that's why we can't go up and why we're stuck in a channel. I truly don't think you even believe what you posted and are probably too embarrassed to admit it. It's okay, we all make mistakes. Fess up and all will be forgiven. Otherwise, you're on permanent ignore, and I HIGHLY suggest the regulars here do the same.
The floor is yours, we're waiting...
It's good to hear all points of view. I concede that Racing Dreams isn't lighting the world on fire. But it doesn't have to. Yes, some folks went crazy with their projections. But they were just that. Not one person here that I've come across invested in TDGI based on how well Racing Dreams did or didn't do. It's the collective body of work that TDGI is putting together for FY 2010 that has us waiting here. Your weekly observations of Racing Dreams' poor performance is duly noted. Thank goodness we're not a one trick pony, right?
Why don't you answer your question in this post?
Hmmmmm....so why doesn't the pps break this channeling and go up??
Because of the "Stinky Pinkie" status???? Uplist to Nasdaq "soon"?
You came here and made the claim. People have stated facts in answer to your outrageously false, borderline malicious statement. You have not stated any facts. You're now dodging your assertion like a slick politician dodges a question. Back to YOUR assertion, that they're "dumping shares" here. Where is the proof? We have the proof that they are not diluting. Can you enlighten us and let us in on why you *know* they are "dumping shares" here? I'm trying to be polite and give you the benefit of the doubt. I assume you must have inside knowledge that all of us collectively here don't have -- as well as the transfer agent for TDGI. So please share that concrete proof with us.
Great attention diverter. Actually can be an effective tactic, but not here. Now back to your original argument. You came here and started posting under the guise that they're "dumping shares" here. There's no merit to that, it's completely, totally 100% false. You are trying to deflect from your original argument by posting other charts and are now talking about channels on a chart.
Please, provide proof of your original claim that they're "dumping shares" here which is why this stock "can't move up." We really can't move on with you and hear your other points unless you have proof of your outrageous claim of "dumping shares." We here deal with facts when it comes to dilution, etc. Your bold, untrue statement can't be dodged. So let's see the proof...
Do you really believe what you posted? If so, post some proof. This isn't the Yahoo boards where you can post that kind of nonsense and let it pass unnoticed. Too many good folks here have done way too much due diligence to be fooled by your emotionally charged, agenda ridden post.
So, are you gonna back your statement up or will you just post more charts and dodge the question? You made the assertion, so back it up with proof. We all can prove there's been no "dumping of shares." A simple phone call to the ungagged transfer agent tells us that daily.
We're all waiting for proof of your bold statement:
When will they finish dumping shares?? Can't go up until/if that happens, IMO....
Nice post. Thanks for your contribution here.
Nice, I like your style. Way to stick it to 'em... Thanks for taking one for the team. Here's hoping we get some much anticipated news, and soon. Just musing, wouldn't it be great to get something major like right now? Oh, the pain for those that may have flipped for partying money for the long weekend...
Now that the market's closed for the next three days, will Eric release some nice, juicy info?
Thanks for your service to the board...
Nice snag, Gordon24. You will be well rewarded in due time.
Nice paint job of 500 shares at .0443. Gotta love it, another day in paradise on the pink sheets! Again, really good time to be loading up if you're waiting on the sidelines.
