We may reach 100k+ in pre market before open.....my oh my.... someone is trying to tell us something
HDG... I wish you and all longs the best as we are certainly closer than ever before in watching Peregrine finish what they have started many years ago! We've made the trip before from sub-dollar and we will do it one final time
Dont be greedy....you stated you made 90% thus far. Skating on mighty thin ice out there as many bears are running off the ice and into the woods. PR any day....any morning now
GLTA! Today has awaken many bulls ready to run
1. First we will get news confirming Dec 5th bavi moa talks
2. Second...we will get positive news of internal investigations...
3. Third... there will be new announcement of loan
4. Fourth.... all is summed up in Dec 10th monday earnings release...All
5. Dec 11.... we start the hype and buyout talks...partnering talks plausibilities once again...
All in my opinion
The chart is looking mighty impressive overall since our pull back from $5. This is not some head fake we are looking at and everyone knows how this stock can move as we have all seen in the past .... in my opinion we will be testing $2 this week
Good luck to all!
Has anyone exercised call options using Fidelity? I spoke with a rep and they claim that if call options are purchased and in the money.... they "auto execute" and your shares are automatically reflect in your account and I just wanted to confirm that since I have this is my first time playing with options that could make it "in the money" ...
Only wanted to make sure since I most likely would want to keep the shares and I do remember someone on here saying before that some brokers automatically sell your call options once expired?
I'm glad I bought more calls under a .50.... but can someone please explain how? options are being bought for under .50 for Jan 19 $1 calls when we are above a $1 at this point or maybe it just needs to settle in above a $1 for a few days
Buying $1 calls for Jan / April seem a lock at this point
We are closing in on some in the money $1 options.....wished I had picked up much more
Traders (shorts) are skating on thin ice starting tomorrow. As we all sit for an announcement .... is more like ice skating on that pond in late winter with a stretch 50 degree days as the ice melts.
The results of the internal investigation are about to be revealed very shortly...and those accumulating and holding are not the ones that are going to be at risk of skating on thin ice.
GLTA
.92 AH.... So we are about to get the news? ...that the company thought would take weeks.....and not months. It feels like we were on a little school vacation and class is just about to start again.
The band is a tightening....and I am ready and waiting for the snap upward
close to the move up would be nice.... April $1 options I thought was the best play but Dec and most likely January seem to be in lock as of now
I picked up a few more.... but anytime a large order gets in the pps moves up pretty quickly. Chart looking good and I'm looking forward to see how this will rise with the next PR
I sense an itty bitty break out on the horizon... we've been wound up and plateauing on this field for quite some time. Sellers have sold and traders have traded.... we will land above a $1 within one week is my prediction. Time to get into position before its going to cost much much more to even take a position here in 2013.
ok... here we go, lets all look to many positive swings up from here on out
next most likely news.... will hopefully be an official statement of 1st patient being treated
The volume will be back... for a phase III being initiated and plenty of cash on hand we are sitting at levels where once accumulation begins, the pps will run up fast
Price Upgrade.. $3.50 to 4.50 from Vista Partners .... its only a seemingly matter of time before we make the push up atleast to the levels between $1 - $2 and maybe a nice surpise for us to push closer towards the new price target
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/vista-partners-updates-coverage-on-adventrx-pharmaceuticals-inc-raises-target-price-to-450-2012-11-06?siteid=bigcharts&dist=bigcharts
Next most likely news... will be a price target issued....or buy rating. Holding for the ride back between $1-2
I will be adding tomorrow....was not expecting another little drop after Ph III announcement
3.5 year low..... and most likely a 3.5 year high in buyout possibilities.....
Good timing on the reloading ... all sounds good from the conference call this afternoon.
I want to think we should float between $1-2 after the FDA stamp of approval but after my last let down with PPHM being held back recently.... will hope for the best.
"ANX-188 is not a drug just for sickle cell disease...its a drug that improves blood flow"
Other indications (other than sickle cell disease) will be announced in 2013
As of June 30....43 Million
As of Sept 30.... 40 Million
PH III trial cost = 15-18 Million
The most compelling statement from the conf. Call was "....other sources of money could come from regional or global partnership....."
Call is still ongoing....have to get back to work
"Culley says that the drug hasn’t yet demonstrated its full capabilities, and an upcoming Phase III trial at ADVENTRX, expected to initiate by year’s-end, will improve on older testing strategies. Discussing the development history of ANX-188, he says, “It was very interesting to us to see that in a study that was underpowered and really not optimally designed, they still very nearly reached the threshold of success which is needed for FDA approval.” With better financial backing and advanced manufacturing methods, Culley believes ANX-188 will move to the market with a strong IP portfolio to protect it. The only FDA approved drug for treating Sickle Cell Anemia, hydroxyurea, is sold by Bristol-Myers Squibb (NYSE:BMY) as Hydrea and Droxia.
The discussion touches on the company’s other pipeline products and ADVENTRX’s financial position. Culley also discusses expanding indications for ANX-188, and explains how recent hires at the company bring valuable clinical and regulatory expertise to this development-stage biotech."

Someone made off with a good amount of shares.. cheap shares with that stock loss picking this morning. Goes to show you that its not a good idea to have a stock loss order sitting by for someone to take off the table and costing you much more to buy back in
Oh yes...I do see that low of .56
Stop loss pickers it seems
I would have loved to see prices in the .50 cent range again....would be buying more. Doubt we will see prices down there again. May see some spikes down trying to pick off any stop losses....Heading to phase III I would cancel any stop losses.
looks like we were thinking phase III news just at the right time! First... this is positive that it seems to show that phase III was accepted by the FDA and all is a go to move forward.
Should bring us between $1-2 during the trial.... and maybe even spike to $3 towards the end of the trial awaiting trial data.
I'll be happy with landing over a $1 for the time being
Ph. III Data not till 2013 I believe... the good news is the amount of cash on hand and maybe we will see some interest from other BP's
No matter if we partner/buyout or move along thru Phase III ... its worth more than the current levels we sit idling at
Give us a close @.85 over the next couple weeks...and we will be off to run a little bit : ) Would be nice to say good bye to these sub $1 prices
I agree and would love the insiders to have purchased more in the recent year.... though Peregrine does seem to have a sufficient # of stock options that the employees can exercise and were part of over the last couple years. We already know that the upper management will again be receiving a large amount ( believe someone stated that no one person can receive more than 500,000 shares? )
of shares and I think that will be announced very soon.
I am not sure of how legal it is for them to announce a resolution to the coding issue... as they announce/grant stock options a few days before? so my educated guess is stock options awarded and then give it at least 30 days before any resolution is announced...
Going to be an interesting few months of PR's
Thanks for the ASM update FTM...and I am glad to hear you will continue to post! : ) Very much appreciated!
I hope she can make a slow move upward for the next month or so.... should be getting the final go ahead clearance from FDA for phase III and that should bring us over the $1
I added a little today.... and the weekend is almost here! Lets hope for some good news Monday morning!

ANX-188 Poised For Pivotal Role
Adventrx is on the verge of initiating its all-important pivotal Phase III study of ANX-188, a product that has the potential to become the standard of care to treat severely painful ‘crisis’ episodes in patients with sickle cell disease. The key requirements are now in place – manufacturing and CRO contracts have been secured – and assuming the FDA has no objections to the trial design, the study should start by end 2012. Advancing ANX-188 into Phase III, and clarity on the study design, represents a significant milestone and potential catalyst that could lead to a re-rating.
Looks like our little ANX was not going into the weekend without a little activity today but no news can be found.... hoping this is just setting up for the next week or two
Still trading under value for the cash on hand...
Thanks for ASM update! Hang in there is all I can do eom
This type of "special medical use" label the FDA is considering.... just seems like a phase III trial for the most part.
Lets say Phase III was set up for NSCLC if coding issues are all resolved: they say the phase III would look similar and the total # of patients would be ?? 300-400 ?
Now Lets say FDA actually gave a company such as Peregrine a "special medical use" pass with Bavi for NSCLC and now its up to the doctors to allow a patient to use Bavi? I would think they could find 300 patients within the same time frame ... maybe even the same group of people that would be interested
The question it comes down to is money... a Phase III NSCLC I would think Peregrine or us shareholders are paying the bill for the trial vs. this "special medical use" labeling if used. Now... the money Peregrine could have charged after they did their own Phase III and FDA approval would be much higher vs. the cost that would be charged under this "special medical use" labeling but who would have control over that cost? I think thats where more politics become involved because before the FDA gives a drug that label they will want to know the cost and I would say the cost would be driven down big time "BUT" it would be enough to at least pay for the trial I would think and it acts like a Phase III trial where if all goes well....
Would FDA then give the final FDA approval so Peregrine would and could charge much higher costs? The money part is what I'd be interested in because it could just be selling your soul now to get your drug to market and have no control over costs later... or having FDA say "hey... we gave you this special label and you must use this drug under that label for minimum of 5...6...7 years?
All things to consider.... but we have to keep thinking out of the box
The FDA doesn't do anything on their own... most certainly faster approval processes such as allowing much smaller scale trials ... all for unmet needs and we are quite aware of the large unmet need on oncology drugs that exist that Peregrine can offer with Bavi.
This is my exact point yesterday... talking about having the right networking connections... political connections... because to allow much smaller scale trials are being talked about for big bio... its directed squarely at small bio techs such as Peregrine.
My question.... whom is influencing the FDA to come out with this statement now? Does Peregrine have a back door plan ?
Thanks for your input from the ASM! eom
Thanks for the ASM update!
We all want Bavi to succeed and be welcomed by the FDA...I believe its worked perfectly all along but we are now being asked to be patient a little longer and there are too many IST's ongoing to not have some constant news flowing our way.
We just need to remain focused on another strong year upcoming for Avid. Imaging moving forward.... and I was shocked to hear that adding a couple positions to BOD was "close".
Educated guess tells me it was all part of the partnering deal....whomever they were closest in talks with wanted 2 friendlies on the Peregrine BOD...possibly for future backing in any buyout....etc.
Overall.... Bavi works and I wanted my return on investment much sooner and I will be taking care of home financials to dig into this stock deeper and bring my average down that much more.
We were close....and its still within reach.... lets keep an eye out for when the next set of newly passed stock options get priced in at....and keep an eye on the options being purchased. IMHO....if we get close to 100,000 call contracts....then we are close to some mighty heavy material event news.
GLTA!
We wait for further trial data and more importantly....we still have to think out of the box.
1) Any party that was part of partnering talks... how long do they have to wait before they can start buying shares...and or options? My best guess would be they may have to end discussions and wait 60...90 days?
2) April call options are already high....is there a cap (peregrine outstanding shares) that exists which no more options are sold? For example....if OS is 120M...do they allow more options to be sold than shares exist? I have seen lots of twists and turns here....and I dont think Bavi is a bust at all.....just being held back for reasons to be determined later.
