1) No one believes you that you held those shares.
2) All of your points have been proven invalid. By me.
Impossible. I agree that late 2016 is NOT happening. When I spoke to management at Cannabix, they said that there is no word whatsoever, to the public or to those working in the marijuana breathalyzer industry as to what Hound Labs is doing.
"The proceeds of the financing will be used to develop a hand marijuana breathalyzer and related products."
What kind of related products might we see? FAIMS itself is not going to change, as the technology is what it is - i.e. the core of any hand-held is the same, hence the reason that a breathalyzer for Breathtec is the exact same device internally, it may appear different on the exterior for cosmetic reasons. The related products mention here could be a hint at a future merger with Breathtec? Or another company who will produce something to go along with the breathalyzer?
RELATED PRODUCTS...
"We are in the process of filing intellectual property applications to protect products that will be developed based on this patent and FAIMS technology."
It is promising that after ~8 months, they have come up with a product that requires protection. The new IP suggesting they need to protect a new, novel device with internal FAIMS components. The acquisition of patent rights is even more instrumental, because that means that they have a product that they want to have full rights to SELL, not so much as protect. The IP and new patents can protect something, but having full rights to the FAIMS technology is necessary once they have a working device to sell (pre-trial testing, it's no different).
"We are also evaluating other technologies and collaborations that will further strengthen Cannabix’s leading position in the field of a marijuana Breathalyzer and will provide updates as they occur.”
Hounds Labs (not likely), Lifeloc (they've been quiet...), GMBH or BREATHTEC? Could there be a partnership in the works? One thing is for certain, that whether Beta is complete or not, they NEED to have it tested by a independent third-party, as that is the data government will need (unbiased -> third party only, as the in-house testing thus far is great for product development, but not court purposes) so that they can approve this for use. As Shell3 has pointed out, Yost has connections in government now, and he has been through this process before and is WELL-respected.
"Cannabix will be renewing its agreement with the University of Florida to continue development of its FAIMS-MS based marijuana breathalyzer."
At this point it is clear they have a working device, so it's nice to see they will be funded to do so. If everyone looks back to the financial documents this company has prepared, their original timeline (which we also cannot see because the new corporate presentation is not yet available) suggested that the next big cost (< 1million) was for trial testing.
It is my opinion that this money will fund the trial, and once the PP is closed, we will hear some news as to who the partner is.
"The team has made consistent and impressive progress towards the development of a FAIMS- based hand held breathalyzer to accurately detect trace amounts of THC. The superior design developed by Dr. Yost’s team improves resolution, sensitivity and consistency using novel methods, with industry standard mass spectrometry being used for characterization.
I think the new "method" will be unveiled at Pittcon with Beta.
Corporate Presentation as well.
Nice summary.
It's possible it has been purchased entirely by executives and associates and that all shareholders who attempt to purchase will have their money returned. Just because the offer was sent out, doesn't mean we can access.
I think the moral of the story here is that there is nothing wrong, and you could infer either way on this one. To hard to say, so no point in arguing one side or the other... mere speculation.
I was looking for a definition of a private placement. I asked him a question, not you for an answer.
I think it's obvious to this board that most investors would have been upset had management waited 6 months without providing a NR, then release news about acquisition of the patent rights, likely leaked information before the NR (given the massive inc. in shares traded), and then didn't offer any of the PP to shareholders.
No?
Correct me if I am wrong, but: you are suggesting dilution, at the expense of the shareholder, so that family could benefit from what would basically be insider trading? I think it is obvious why this needs to be public.
You will be watching as the stock price never returns to the price you hope to buy back in to cut your losses that your are trying to make up for by posting here!!! AHA
On a serious note: Despite the shorts and a potential quick rise with those who will try and cash out, I don't think profit taking is smart at this point, given that when the PP closes, it is possible that a trial could be announced - a trial that would be used to provide the data the courts need... i.e. third-party testing. Whether that is right now, or after Beta is released (e.g. Pittcon and IP filing complete), we could have a corporate presentation release which could provide us further direction!
Good point. Looks like we are going to see some movement!
I think that without considering the shorts, the news releases alone suggesting new IP has been generated, should garner some interest in holding - things are getting interesting.
Yost has published papers and patents (all of which I have read inside out) detailing how FAIMS works, and which support my points. The company has expressed that they have a real-time, accurate device.
You're attempts at trashing the company are obvious.
Then your timeline would suggest that your conversation with management prior to October 2015 is irrelevant now, given that the company is working on a completely different product.
They are building a device to be used by law enforcement. It will detect THC in the blood and give an accurate real-time reading of THC in the blood which can be used in court to support charges.
You're posts don't even make sense.

My beliefs:
I think that come Monday, we won't be seeing share prices likes this anymore...
It is highly likely they have built a working marijuana breathalyzer and have opened up the private placement to friends and family and existing shareholders. I completely agree that the fact they have
1) acquired patent rights - suggests they have built a device that needs protection
2) Need money - because they now need to trial their new device
3) Opened the PP to friends and family - because they believe unequivocally they have the device that will change the world
4) Kal in the video - said they will be FIRST to market, and they have acknowledged Hound Labs proposed timeline and STILL think we will be FIRST
5)They have claimed "IMMENSE" progress in their recent news
6) They are seeking COLLABORATION - i.e. time for trial testing
7) Seeking new partnership and new devices and products - !!!
They are going to determine the exact nanogram of THC in the blood at the exact moment in time when the breath is tested. It is not simply yes or no. They will have a real-time accurate measurement and the government will use that to determine level of impairment (where a level has not already been set... some states have the values set, but would be subject to change as case law does).
That makes no sense. Obviously it's detecting the blood level. It's the blood level that is related to the level of impairment.
You might as well be suggesting that rubbing a joint on someone's skin and then testing that is enough to determine they are high.
You don't understand the science; you should read some literature on FAIMS breath analysis and how the fundamentals work.
IN THE BLOOD, How THC is Measured:
There is no left over storage molecules, so before you mislead this board while everyone is happy, I will provide quick medical/chemistry lesson to help clarify your comments, as the video was misleading. The video was made to be understood easily by the layman, providing lay terms around how breath analysis works - in doing so, you end up using terms like "stored in the walls" and such, because people don't quite understand how it works if you describe the physiology of capillary networks and how THC travels. So, here is the science and the answer to your question:
When you smoke marijuana, the smoke enters the lungs, and the active component that was vaporized from the plant is carried into the lung as in *gas* form. The gas molecules go through the bronchi, into the small alveolar sacs of the lungs. They look like little honeycombs. They have a huge surface area and the gas molecules can reach the tissue which is highly vascular (meaning there is a rich network of blood vessels. Normally, you breath in oxygen, and the oxygen reaches these blood vessels in the tiny alveoli and cross the "wall" or the barrier, diffusing into the blood. The tiny blood vessels that allow for this gas exchange are called capillaries. While oxygen goes into the blue blood, CO2 goes the other way in is then exhaled. This blue blood coming into the lungs is oxygen DEPLETED, meaning the blood is blue, and it sucks up the oxygen and then proceeds to the heart, for distribution to the body.
Now for the THC: Imagine the THC is carried as a gas molecule to the lung barrier, and it goes along with oxygen and diffuses across the capillary membrane and is taken into the blood stream. It is then you are intoxicated, as the blood goes to the heart, and then to the brain, where the THC acts on the cannaboid receptors in the brain, causing you to get "high". The blood however is always circulating, so the levels are still high enough within two hours, that the body hasn't purified the blood yet. It goes to the brain and to the body and then back to the lungs, where THC diffuses the other way, with CO2, into the lungs. It is then exhaled. It is the you get it detected with Cannabix's Beta device.
Make sense?
I just got a Breathtec ad on youtube. These guys are going in!
I would agree with that comment. Very promising indeed.

WOW, incresible find ILuvBlo2. COLLABORATIONS!?!??!
Just found this one also! Seems they are on a news blitz.
Awesome to see our adviser and lead scientists in the same video.
Great point. The key to allowing for this to be court worthy will rest in the devices ability to provide an EXACT, REAL-TIME nanomolar reading!
Hopefully we will see the two start to work in synergy and use each other to rise! After this PP, they will both be financially set to do so!
Everyone should go to http://www.cannabixtechnologies.com/ and take a look at that video.
This is very promising. Pay attention to the wording choices, suggesting INSTANT detection using the preferred technology (mass spectrometer), the plan to be the first to market, referring to the device in such a tense, as if it already exists. The renderings are similar to that of Breathtec, which they should be, given that the device is the same! In combination with the choice of wording in the recent new release, it sounds like they have something special in a new Beta with improved accuracy, an improved method* for detection (i.e. the way they utilize FAIMS to detect the ion in the miniature chamber*) and new IP!
AMAZING.
This is really nice. This video should be circulated to various media outlets, advertised on Facebook and other social media sources, advertised on the news, etc!
Corporate Presentation.
I think many investors are starting to realize that the credibility of this company did increase when Yost and his world-class team were brought on board, but even more so when the company took the time to trial out a partnership by allocating a grant to Yost, without pumping the stock publicly, and finally acquiring the rights and showing investors that this is full steam ahead.
The recent news release specifically states that new IP has been generated (i.e. a new patent to cover Beta). Furthermore, a unique methodology has been developed (i.e. a new way to use FAIMS to find THC in a miniaturized device, Beta).
Breathtec is well funded and Costanzo is working on the exact same device with Boock, so, technically, that Breathtec money is getting put to work for Cannabix too.
What will differ, is that after Beta is produced, Breathtec will be trial testing on different molecules, and as such, will have a different time line (much longer...).
Exciting times. Everyone is going to get a wonderful surprise when Cannabix reveals their media and new CORPORATE PRESENTATION.
A couple things:
Hopefully everyone on this board can see GOLD DIGGA is trying to talk to this stock down. Mostly buys today. I also have refuted all of his previous posts.
I personally think this is a good sign. I think that some of the Breathtec investors are starting to realize that Cannabix and Breathtec are going to rise together.
Geodcan, there is a reason I say ^ this. The main reason: the devices are not so different as you allude to. The Breathtec and Cannabix breathalyzer will be the same device.
Management has scored big with two different companies that are going to offer the same product (the only difference being the charge range and time of flight of the ion they are looking for... which in one case could be THC and in the other, could be organic breath biomarkers for disease, such as liver byproducts and molecules indicating someone could have Parkinson's disease).
At the end of the day, these guys are going to be well funded to take the device forward to trial.
If these guys are serious about the 100% (can't be so sure), then we could expect Beta as soon as the Private Placement closes, or at Pittcon.
MARS BABY.
He's not quoted in that article, so therefore the validity of the statements made in that article are no different than anyone posting on here.
How exactly do you see me to be "pumping". I provided rationale debate to all of the points he made, exposing what is likely to be his incentive to do the opposite of pump, so he can acquire cheap shares.
>80% Accuracy was achieved last spring with Alpha alone. Management has stated that this has been greatly improved with FAIMS. I would not rely on news releases or radio, I would rely on the information circulated via Cannabix website. I analyzed the wording a few posts ago.
At this point in time I want to remain objective on this board, given the negative view points being expressed by certain posters, but have personally heard of the current accuracy level.
lngnstrng just proved your claims that manage was lying to be inaccurate.
1. You have failed to read the Material Discussion and Analysis from some time ago that clearly states that they would likely need to do another call.
2. You can't separate out Yost from management, because they are now all part of one company. Yost is building the device.
3. You speculate that his associations would influence his character. Not based in any sort of reasoning or fact.
"perfectly time"... obviously it was intentionally timed. Perfect is not the term to use here. It is clear that they have worked with Yost to determine if they could increase their sensitivity and accuracy, which they clearly have (based on the recent news release), then they release their acquisition news at the *correct*, which is neither poor, nor perfect. This company has kept shareholders informed through monthly postings to the CSE and also through the recent news which was a fair amount of time (5-6 months to determine feasibility in this way is expected in this field).
You continue to talk negatively about management and come up with no proof of any wrongdoing.
Furthermore, there has been absolutely NO pumping whatsoever. The call for funds is completely normal and expected, and logically followed an update so shareholders remain informed of timeline and why they should invest their money.
Lastly, you cannot question the validity of the Yost group, who would not associate with a pump and dump scheme.
I could list a million reasons for why the investors who use this board should be cautious of listening to your posts which contain no supporting material and lack reasoning.
Why do you bother posting here if you are so fed up. Clearly you are motivated to see the stock price drop so you can acquire shares.
Anyone from the public can write an article on the internet. Unless the information includes a citation or quotations, then it cannot be attributed as being directly stated by that person.
So, yes, really. "Low, wow" as a response would suggest you have nothing to add to strengthen your argument.
What you can be sure of, is that there has been no official record of the company stating an accuracy reading since the time of Alpha.
The companies recent statement says that significant advancements have been made, both in terms of resolution and accuracy.
In this field, companies don't acquire patent rights and call for funding unless they have a working device ready for trial.
FAIMS is the most accurate methodology utilized by mass spectrometer detection system in the world, hence Raj's recent "Gold Standard" comment in the news release. Even molecular tagging, as is the case of Hound Labs, would not be able to exceed FAIMS in terms of accuracy. Though they might be close (part per billion range).
1. You are still incorrect,as that news article published unquoted material and as such, it is nothing more than speculative, and could have been written by anyone.
2. I am not coming clean, as I have never lied, or hidden any fact pertaining to the claims about having >90% accuracy. I have said from day 1, that I heard that the device was >90% accurate by word of mouth, not factual published article.
You are incorrect, 80% was achieved with Alpha. There has been no report of accuracy with Yost, aside from the recent news article posted with the acquisition of rights. I have scanned all news articles just as you have. You have no support to your claim of 80% with Yost, as nothing has been released yet.
>90% has yet to be reported, you are correct there. I personally know that to be the case though, as I heard that myself, though I have no proof for this board.
ILuBlo is right - 80% was achieved with Alpha over 6 months ago. That wasn't enough, so they brought in Yost. They had >90% back in 2015.
What Kal said, is that they will likely have the device on the road in 18 months.
A trial takes 12 months. Legal approval and having the device written into the law will take at at least 6-12 months, unless they start as soon as Beta is ready (or have already, but have not told us).
So.....We can expect Beta any time soon if he was being honest with his timeline.
A few months ago
