Agree about the frustration. That's why I've stopped following the stock everyday and any news that isn't about secured funding I deem as insignificant in regards to boosting PPS. There's no doubt the PPS is currently being manipulated with all these artificial increases in PPS only to return to previous PPS within a few days. Like beating a dead horse, but until secured funding news comes out this will be the world we live in. CHEERS!!!
Like clock work. This happens every time. You can almost set you calendar by it. Secured financing will be when we can know the increase in PPS isn't a fluke. Until then we can continue to expect these type artificial increases.
It's either some positive news or another shelf offering. So here's to POSITIVE NEWS!!!!
At this stage of the game about the only thing that is going to get the PPS truly moving north again is an announcement of secured funding. PR announcements about another hot shot hire or exclusive conference they are attending means absolutely nothing. They could announce today they've hired Jesus Christ himself and we'd see a nick bump initially then by week's end it would be back to where it was. Potential investors sitting on the sidelines want secure funding. Until then we're at where we're at for a while.
I've got an additional .23 on top of yours. So be thankful. Others' journey is longer. I truly feel for those who were unable to average down and are stuck at $2+.
The day I get back in the green I'm buying a bottle of Johnnie Walker Scotch and celebrating.
I hope, as do we all, that it's something legit behind the move. Do you think they would do another shelf offering this quick after just doing one?
Amen brother! I've been under water in this thing since the timeline change in 2014. I did everything I could to lower my cost per share. Finally got it under $1, compared to starting off at a buy in of $2.25/share. I'm ready to start seeing some green in my investment account.
I had my first taste of scotch a few weeks ago and loved it. Johnnie Walker Double Black. Tasted somewhat similar to Crown Royal Black but with a "woodsier" flavor. Had almost that same bite on the back end as CR Black. I'd like to try some Johnnie Walker Blue Label at some point.
I wonder if this is an indication of a potential R/S or an indication of wanting the PPS to rise organically so we won't have to do a R/S?
Is it possible the company had more cash on hand than we figured? Here we are March, when most thought we'd be completely drained or running on fumes with cash. Now it's being suggested we make into April before financing news.
I'd be curious to know if the shareholder letters were received as well by McNally has they seemed to be with Mr. Barker.
Maybe they just go and plug it in once or twice a day to ensure the foot pedals still light up.
The stoppage had nothing to do with money. They continued work without the supposed "money they were owed" being paid to them or the future payment stipulations being satisfied. I find it no coincident that work started back up when Hargrove resigned.
Anyone surprised we've heard nothing in response to the last "Shareholder Letter"?
I am of the same belief. I just don't believe they have any intentions of taking this all the way into market. I'm sure that means we won't get as much on the buyout (compared to being in the market THEN selling).
If they do plan on going all the way to market and they decide to do it via a partnership. How does that work and would it impact our shares in anyway?
I agree. It is very frustrating but we knew at the end of last year they had enough money to "get into 2017". I would say most of us estimated that probably meant at some point in the first quarter they would run out of money and HAVE to do something. We don't know how far into the the first quarter they can go before making a move. But I'm completely with you. It is very frustrating.
What are you suggesting that signifies?
Agreed, my comment was assuming it wasn't another shelf offering. Another shelf offering would definitely screw long term holders.
It is THE reason the PPS is "stuck" where it is. They've made good enough personnel moves with the hiring of McNally, cleaning house etc to put investors at ease over the competency of the leadership. The last component , which is now the most important component is the funding. When/if that gets in place I suspect a substantial up tick in PPS.
This. I just don't see them hiring this salary level position and not having some form of funding security in place.
Agreed, but anything in 2018 is a helluva lot better than the end of 2019.
I wonder if the "acceleration" is apart of the 2019 commercialization timeline? Or if "acceleration" implies that they maybe able to shorten that 2019 target? Thoughts?
I think the tinkering is over. From the article:
Is it the massive R/S we've all been arguing over for the last two years? LOL! I say that as humor but partly serious as well.
Jesus did the same thing. He never asked a question that he didn't already know the answer. Rock is speaking to you like Jesus.
With the new timelines basically pointing to another 2-3 years until commercialization. Are we looking at another year of suppressed (sub $1) PPS even when secured funding is obtained?**
**Assuming the plan is to carry it all the way to market.
The reality of it is no one "knows jack" about most of what's going on or what will happen with this investment. Yet it doesn't stop people from giving their opinions and asking questions. It's the reason message boards exist. Go back over the board. The same questions, the same topics and the same answers pop up over and over and over. The overwhelming majority of the content is about completely subjective things without much of any substance to back up any claims. So if you want to limit posts to "things we know" then turn out the lights on this message board. Because the conversations would run out within minutes.
I guess it's because I got into this investment to make money. I'm not sure the reason or reasons you invested. But I invested to make money. I like getting other people's opinions who are probably more versed in how something like this will go than I am. Maybe you're more interested in what color the foot pedals will be on the machine, which is fine. But I'm more interested in what type of return I can realistically expect on this investment (considering the circumstances). I don't take what people say as the gospel. Just getting a "feel" on what others (who are probably in this to make money as well) think about where this will end up. It's kind of the main point of all of us being here.
In your opinion, how, when and at what $$$ amount do you see this playing out? My guess is no later than the end of 2018. However, I'm not versed enough in robotic company buyouts to even take a wild shot at a realistic buyout figure.
McNally's only been there a month. He made some swift and not so subtle personnel moves almost immediately. I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt regarding the presentation. With all the other stuff he has probably been acclimating himself to, the slide presentation may have been something that he had to simply go with considering the conference was literally only weeks after he came on. I would hope (as he did when he first came on) if someone wasn't pulling their weight he would show them the door.
Yeah, not really a big sticker price for a company wanting to enter a multi-billion dollar industry without having to start at ground zero.
Very plausible. If that turns out to be the case I sure as hell hope he can get the majority of the $75 mm from non-dilutive funding. Because if not we're looking at tons of dilution and probably a major R/S. Which honestly would screw my investment completely to hell and back.
The latest this will go is second half of 2018. Absolutely NO WAY they go to the finish line alone. I expect to have a M/A in 2018. I just hope there aren't any R/S's along the way. That would really suck for me.
Personally, I don't think they see this through to commercialization. I think he gave the dog and pony show to focus on the robot itself and the potential for someone to invest.
I stick by original theory when he was first hired and I read his resume. It's obvious what they brought him in to do...
Is it two more years or three? The timeline showed 2017, 2018 & 2019 but if I remember correctly 2019 was going through the FDA and CE approvals and commercialization. I assume the commercialization will be on the back end of 2019. We're only one month into 2017. The math seems to point closer to three years than two, if McNally is truly planning on seeing this through all the way to market.
I am glad to finally get some form of an updated timeline and dollar figure for completion. I was a little disappointed in the 2019 date. However, I was very impressed with McNally. There's no doubt the guy knows his stuff and has done his homework regarding how SPORT works, its advantages and how it differs from the competition. Very well versed in these areas.
My plans haven't changed. I'm riding this out to the end. Because I think ultimately I will make money off my investment. However, it amazes me at those who have concluded that it is "too late" for Titan and have deemed it will fail. Yet continue to follow the stock like a scorned lover who can't let go. I really hope those type posters don't find their way to this board. But I'm starting to have my doubts about that...
I have no idea what you're talking about. This statement sounds like I turned down a wager or something. The rest of the jibberish is incoherent so I'm unable to respond.
I'm invested in the company and actually believe it has a shot at succeeding. So my frequent posting is completely understandable. Your's on the other hand....is a bit weird. Especially for someone with "plenty of things to do".
And this is what completely makes zero sense. You (and three others on this board) think Titan is going to fail. Yet you still take time out of your day to post on a Titan message board. How absolutely screwed up is that? If you think the company is going to fail. Then why in the h*ll are you wasting time on here? Do you not have anything else in life with any level of importance to do?
