I may be nuts, but I don't think I wrote about anything you had(?) Who has multiple aliases????
With this stock/company, anything is possible. I was referring strictly to the recent free shares. By themselves, no, I don't think they are motivation enough. I met with Dr C and KB at their NJ offices and, my impression, he was not interested in selling low. He mentioned he didn't want Fresenius to get too cozy by getting all of the distribution. That it would make them have too much of an inside track and his hope was someday to have multiple suitors. It was there that it was said that $100 mil in 3-5 years was expected. It was said "We see no reason yadda yadda yadda". So you could be right but it would surprise me. And selling now without FDA would be gifting it to somebody else. What price are we getting without approval? Not what some think, not in my eyes. In some ways I hope you are right and I don't have to follow this anymore LOL.
Do you think the relatively small amount of free shares they got would make them want to sell out, leaving jobs making hundreds of thousands a year and the rest of the perks? I don't. At what price? I just don't see it but I'll admit my predictions suck.
I apologize. Was not meant snarky. fantomphan2001@yahoo.com feel free to communicate. Thx
Is this problematic? Was said to my face in person.
To me, the share price for CTSO is reacting strictly to the continued extension of timelines. Time is precious. If this were simply about waiting another year, I would be a lot more comfortable. Delays of any kind can lead to competitive risk, somebody a lot more powerful than us coming up with a better mousetrap, or even an equivalent mousetrap. And that stronger company having the ability to jam their approvals through. "We don't see any reason why revenues won't be $100 million in 3 to 5 years" said in early (very early) 2019.
I haven't seen anybody say that people shouldn't get paid(?) It's the bonuses and BS free shares etc. that have people with big money tied up here scratching their heads. I was in banking for 40 years. You got a bonus when big things were completed. Done. Finished. Their completion had profits coming in. You yourself list a bunch of things that need completing. With that list outstanding, the level of free shares is pretty ballsy IMO, especially while we are all sucking wind with our shares. Famous coach Bill Parcells credits his Dad for saying to him as a youngster "There's no medals for trying". There's winning and then everything else. I have been involved in several "story" stocks where people got hurt and hurt badly. In each case, folks would show up on message boards like this to try to shut down the so called "whiners", folks who in fact were actually loyal investors who were just frustrated. The similarities here are eery at times. So do some of us hurting longs (I have never sold a share) a favor and keep your "move on and sell" shpiel to yourself. Everybody knows their options. I don't think the rules here require positive posts and only positive posts. As I wrote the other day, Chan had better be loaded with something really good to say. With that said, I really appreciate the work of the few here who come up with fantastic information, information that has kept me here and in the stock.
Different strokes for different folks. I'm a big sports fan. Love my teams with a passion. However, when they play like sh#t I reserve the right to be critical. That you choose to be silentdoesn't make you a kool aid drinker, but going after folks with very big red numbers next to this investment isn't quite kosher to me either. Chan had better have something good to say because, I for one, am done staying silent. Peace.
Hemopure thinks you're a big whiner. Apparently no share price entitles anyone to be upset
A summary of today's CTSO message board......ZZZZZZZZZZZZ
There's no in between for you? Blind faith no matter what?
They earned those free shares? Interested in your opinion. I am long the stock. I come here for honest accurate info, neither bashing nor cheerleading. I don't agree that people have to have a smiley face when you look at the losses, albeit on paper, of the past year. That's where I come from.
Boy that one year chart is a beauty! Free shares for all of management for a job well done!
It's not a commentary on the oversight. It's on the varying expectations because who really knows right now what will be?
I bet on this board alone if you asked everyone to define "high volume sales" the answers would be all over the map.
Dr. Chan told me that it would be an option for those with temporary renal failure, but not for chronic individuals/cases where regular dialysis was/is necessary.
Would sure love to have this week end on a high note. Too much to ask for this to be green again today?
Amen. Did any of the information "diggers" on here ever come up with an explanation for the late trades Friday?
Forbes.com Why Bill Gates Partners With Rotary To Eradicate Polio
Hoping this gets to the right people there. Gates has teamed up with Rotary International to eradicate polio. Every time we think we have done it (I'm a Rotarian) it pops up. Only exists in a few small pockets now.
I agree, but Chan's credibility has taken a hit and I find myself hesitant to believe until I see it. That's a real problem when folks who have been all in, like you and me, start to doubt even a little.
Bingo, in a nutshell you nailed it! Where is news? It seemed like we were continuously adding countries. Now? Silence. I have held every share I've purchased, but if you're not questioning yourself even a little bit right now, you're not being honest with yourself. I am accepting that this is still a speculative play but this drop is keeping Tums in business.
I'm really surprised in all of the discussions on TV about David Ortiz, none that I have seen have focused on his risk of an infection. When you get shot through intestines and your colon, a ton of "bad stuff" gets into spots it doesn't belong. Huge risk, but the news is all about what the shooter motive was/is.
Looks like someone threw the towel in this AM. Is it me or has there been a dearth of news recently to support the sales price? No new countries added etc?
You realize that reading this quickly/not carefully could have given a CTSO investor a heart attack?
Merck's probability of a 60% decline is slim as is its' possibility of exploding to the upside. This is a speculative investment requiring an iron stomach. You know that. Please compare apples to apples. I've defended Chan because he exercises options and just sells enough to cover the overall costs. He holds the rest. The others who exercise and sell the whole bunch, I don't have as much compassion for. It seems to happen on sp spikes which makes me scratch my head. There are times it doesn't look good. I also wonder if Bloch's purchase signals no really big news was/is imminent(?)
To clarify, it was the one and only time I spoke to them. I'm not connected but I sure wish I was LOL.
I live in NJ, drove to the headquarters, and met for a good hour with Bloch and Chan. They were very cordial and gracious. I was actually impressed with Chan and told my pals privately. It may have been regarding distribution, but they do not want one company getting too cozy with us, hampering others from getting into the mix when the time comes. I don't mean to be vague but it was a while ago now and I just remember that point. Possible they said that Fresenius actually wants a bigger slice but they are cautious to hive them too much. One note that may mean nothing. I arrived at lunch time and the lunch room was packed, and the mood was nothing short of festive. The camaraderie seemed huge. Where they sat me to wait, I got to observe this for about 10 minutes. I thought "Hey, these folks are motivated and love it here". Could it be possible I caught them at a good moment as opposed to this being the norm? Yup, but it didn't look like that. I liked what I saw and heard. Very cool to get to touch/hold the filters. Great visit. I'm anxious to hear what it is that will give us the biggest quarter ever.
One would hope. When I met with them in early winter, I definitely got the impression that they were bent on creating a situation that would someday lead to a bidding war to take us out. Trying not to put all of their eggs in one basket making that company comfortable in being able to control us. They didn't want that. For all the Chan bashing, I believe his vision is for a share price way way north of here. It seemed sincere to me.
This would indicate no big news anytime soon as it would scream insider trading if there was. What am I missing? Yes, I'm glad somebody else is plunking down some cabbage.
Thanks Bertha. Great news.
You left out eliminate cars and planes in 12 years.
Vice Chairman is a bit bigger than just serving on another Board but I agree with you anyway, that he is not distracted by that connection. I've met with him and I was very impressed and believe he has a complete grasp of what needs to be done (yes patience are needed) and that he's laser focused.
Call in Thursday afternoon
Back in the good ol' college days we used to sing a song in the bars. It was famous. The first line began "Were you born an a$$hole, or did you work at it your whole life?" I can write more of it, but the point is made I think.
cytosorbents@lucyturpin.com.
There was also one on FB about a webinar on 2/28 regarding endocarditis. I saw it this morning.
I have read and reread your post that I am responding to. I cannot for the life of me figure what you are saying. Sorry. I am long the stock and believe in the company. I think you do too. I come here to gain any little bit of info that might help me with this investment. I don't come here to have an argument. If you've read my posts, I have survived endocarditis. Without 4 very specific drugs, I would die within probably two days. That's the perspective I come at this from. I was offended that somebody would post that the FDA only approves drugs that kill people. And with that, I'm done commenting. Good luck to all of us and let's make some big money. Peace.
My comment was to the absurd post by Good Sport that the FDA only approves drugs that kill people(?) I wasn't talking to you, or are you a double named poster? That's a ridiculous statement by Good Sport and I'll stand by it. No, I'm long this stock and wish approval would happen yesterday. But the reality is, they are hopeful for something maybe late in 2020, but are not going to over promise/under deliver and will stick with 2021 (smart in my opinion). I spoke to them. Try it sometime. Everybody wants it to be as quick as possible including me. My comment was regarding a ridiculous (there's that word again) post that you didn't make, did you?
Your first sentence is ridiculous.
