A lot we don't know but just maybe the treating doctor based on patients poor condition prescribed another 5 day dosing regimen after seeing some encouraging numbers. With sick covid patients there are not many options.
Wow thanks for that update. Covid-19 free, it's going to take time to heal. Will keep praying. Go B
Some are just miserable even on a good day. Remember trial patients are in earlier stages of viral load and would not be nearly as bad off as those in compassionate care. B as a 3 in 1 has a chance at seeing emergency use.
Yeah where. Some on here or mm's buying time. I can see this thing ripping soon though. Let er rip.
What page dud, because I'm seeing ceo compensation remained the same as last year.
My take is they never received a great offer at phase2. If it were easy BP would have spent the money and found a treatment. OM trials are chancy and can be a slow role depending on patient pool. Success likely would mean B would be the only approved treatment. If successful there is a lot of meat on the bone.
From10k- Since September 14, 2020, we have not obtained financing through Aspire Capital.
So those claiming that IPIX is selling to Aspire are guessing wrong.
"In a broader context, demonstration of Brilacidin’s direct antiviral activity against the SARS-CoV-2 virus supports the drug’s unique 3-in-1 therapeutic potential—antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial—to treat COVID-19 and its associated complications".
They were only looking at the anti-viral activity in the RBL labs, so how much better having all three working together in actual sick people.
I think it's the part you posted in BOLD. Reads like it came from you contradicting what you have posted in quotes.
OK, Thanks.
Poster was wrong every step along the way of this covid venture. RBL tests were and are successful which went completely against posters mantra of failure. Having Successful P11 data will put argument to rest, Hopefully. I do agree though P ended in disaster.
Yes I agree if Brilacidin caused adverse reaction in compassionate use that would have to be reported.
Jumping to conclusions of a persons death is making stuff up.
"May she rest in peace".
Successful trial announcement will change opinions to reality. Go Leo
Sunlight is starting to flood in. Soon to be in high cotton.
Light is shinning through. Ah the sun...let the sun shine in. Go B
Thank you! good to hear they doing better and left the hospital.
Hoping sh's hear something from the company soon rather than reading the equivalent of the Constitution preamble by an anonymous person.
Funny. Dinners getting cold right.

JFM thanks "In related news, the Company has received individual patient Expanded Access (compassionate use) requests for Brilacidin to treat critically ill COVID-19 patients who are not responding to prior therapy".
JFM- Patient Protocol (participants) in the Brilacidin/Covid-19 clinical trial enter with moderate to severe symptoms ...THAT DOES NOT MEAN THOSE IN THE TRIAL HAVE EXHAUSTED all accepted and approved medical treatment because they are in dire straights...and could start having organs shut down, or lethal complications already developing ... which are beyond the Covid Virus infection
As Dr. Farrell has explained...when he did his residency and a young patient died in a matter of hours after extreme attempts to save him, from a different viral infection...his teaching physician explained...the virus can cause organ damage beyond the point of no return...even to the point where the virus is no longer the issue or even present...its damage to vital organs is enough to kill...NO ANTI-VIRAL is going to conceivably reverse that condition. Brilacidin may eliminate the virus, but not reverse the damage and the patient can quickly expire.
What if a Compassionate Use patient was in a coma at the time of administration of Brilacidin...if the patient dies does that reflect on Brilacidin...
Therefore...without knowing the ACTUAL MEDICAL details of the patient's condition ... nothing can be concluded by laymen explaining what they think is or has happened as a result of Brilacidin.
THAT IS WHY the FDA does not consider "Compassionate Use" outcomes in the Clinical Trials results!
I expect great results in the recently concluded Brilacidin/Clinical Trials... on the Moderate to Severe patient cases who were administered with the SOC... be it U.S. or Russian trials.
Using B now as a last ditch effort likely means so much time has elapsed that the patient could suffer some organ damage. Something I didn't think of when compassionate use was announced. Treatment to kill the virus before it has a chance to destroy organs is key
The lady has been in the hospital since mid August and not one post regarding mom's welfare prior to Brilacidin and not one post after. I also found it interesting that facebook posters just happen to all spell this new drug letter for letter correctly. Not saying it untrue just seems a bit odd. Be glad when trial results are made known.
Judys story doesn't mention her actually receiving Brilacidin.
Your jumping to conclusions. After reading the facebook story's. Shawn Wolfs mother Mickey Veverka and Judy are separate covid patients.
A pill sounds good. I'm hoping for an inhaler type to address lung inflammation. We'll see where this goes. Exciting stuff.
Ok great. Thanks
Information is not withheld from participants as in a blinded clinical trial. I think it applies.
"Brilacidin in vitro antiviral research remains ongoing at multiple universities. New preliminary data from one academic laboratory show Brilacidin is active against adenoviruses—a non-enveloped virus—complementing earlier data showing potent Brilacidin inhibition of different strains of coronaviruses, alphaviruses and bunyaviruses (enveloped viruses)".
Isn't this something new I don't remember other non-enveloped virus studies.
Some non-enveloped are GI tract viruses such as Norovirus that hits the cruise ship industry.
Exactly, now we are open label blinders are off. Scenario: My father was made well after three doses...again what was the name of that drug.
And what does people think happens when REAL WORLD doctors and nurses watch as someone takes the Compassionate Use new Drug and they recover rapidly???? Hmmmm.
With the FDA already involved with approving B for compassionate use I'm thinking the extended scrutiny could also be for giving upcoming emergency use authorization.
Excellent. Hope we have many Lazarus's in the IPIX story.
The treating physicians know redesiver doesn't work in sick hospitalized patients so they can deduce brilacidin is what gave the improvements seen in the critically ill.
News will get out on fda granting compassionate use.
In related news, the Company has received individual patient Expanded Access (compassionate use) requests for Brilacidin to treat critically ill COVID-19 patients who are not responding to prior therapy.
Following receipt of such requests, the Company has supplied Brilacidin to relevant hospitals for individual patient use, with the FDA granting the treating physician permission for the emergency administration of Brilacidin.
This is huge "not responding to prior therapy" can anyone say Remdesiver.
IPIX momentous Day. Go Leo
Leo said Everything is advancing per industry norms and standards. Perhaps it's you.
We've gained the knowledge that B is over all a great drug compound. I think value has been built upon it self with these many trials and good covid results would be the start of many good things. Yes it's a long time coming.
Last patient July 30, 2021 so 47 days since start of count down.
