All positive news last few days. Looking to double from here!
One has nothing to do with the other
IMO criminal cases are different. It's quite obvious the government is taking advantage of the legal system and using it against its citizens in an unethical manner.
Oooh, good idea
Oooh, good idea
I'd love too see that happen, along with people going to prison. I'll visit them and rub freedom in their face too.
The only reason the government is playing this game is because they have an infinite amount of resources to wear down any opponent. There ought to be a cap on what they can spend on cases so it's a fair fight. And the kicker is all of our tax dollars are paying their lawyers so we're essentially paying our opponents to fight us.
Good. Let them keep insulting her ability to judge . That only works in our favor because she's probably already pissed off.
FWIW:
Most of you know I live in Italy. I just signed to buy a second home last week. I was able to get a 30 year loan at 3%. As far as I know, they don't have a GSE equivalent here (could be wrong). However, people saying the 30 year mortgage is only available in America because of Fannie and Freddie just isn't true.
Now I will say that it's much harder to get a loan so the GSEs probably provide more liquidity and take pressure off the banks so in the event of a market crash, the banks aren't on the hook. Here in Europe, it will bring the banks down with it.
So while not necessary for the 30 year mortgage, it helps the money flow so the economy can grow.
I don't know for sure, but I believe so.
You stated more eloquently what I meant :)
Here's a question: with the government not complying with Sweeney's order, who exactly is in contempt? I'm wondering if they're not afraid of the order because there's no particular person or persons responsible. The only threat I can see Sweeney making is to rule in plaintiff favor if government doesn't comply.
Polling is a self fulfilling prophecy. Ask any psychologist how it works they'll tell you the same thing
Polls were always used to sway support, not provide data. It's proven that people will vote for a known majority so they easily rig polls to say what they want. Unless they poll the entire population , they're inaccurate
Lol, couldn't be further from the truth. Nice try though
Excellent post!
The biggest slap in the face out of all this is our tax dollars are paying the government lawyers to fight against us. Talk about twisted...
Lol at the comments.
This is interesting. It could be anything from new CEO to release. With all the lawsuits and discovery, a release would be in their favor. I'm sure they're hoping no criminal charges will be pressed so release would make it all disappear.
Not legally possible. Nice try at fear mongering though.
What are they getting sued for? I didn't see it in the document
Wow, I'm surprised they even got a light sentence. Great find
Don't count on it. When was the last time a member of congress was arrested? They all do this crap unfortunately. The lawmakers are above the law in most cases.
Rekusdoo, Obiterdictum,
What kind of lawyers are you and what are your thoughts on starting a class action suit of our own with you guys as the lead council?
I believe that if enough lawsuits are filed, the government will release the GSEs in order to avoid a big loss in the courts. All it will take is for one judge to rule in favor of the shareholders and the rest will follow. While no one person is bigger than government, many united are. I wonder how many lawyers the government employs anyway? I am beginning to see where our tax dollars really go.
Wow, thanks
, That's a nice compliment, seriously.
I seriously doubt the judges are taking the election into consideration. If they are, that means the government has some influence in the courts and if that's the case justice is not possible. ... A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
Excellent questions. I assume because a settlement legitimizes shareholder rights and that's the last thing the government wants because it basically unwravles their entire asinine claim on the GSEs.
JMO
Those are some scary numbers. I'm not sure what the supporters of current administration look at when they say BO improved the economy. And like you said, that's with stealing FnF so it's actually worse. This is why we need a businessman, not a politician running the economy.
You posts are full of gross assumption, imagination, and projecting. This is so ridiculous, trying to explain the fallacies to you would be pointless
Sweeney doesn't want to be the one responsible for the election of Trump. The Government documents (59) and (11,000 plus) are damning and show them being caught red handed stealing from shareholders (citizens) and not honoring our amendments. Why would Sweeney rule now? This is how scared most people are about having Donald Trump as President. Women are coming out of the wood work yesterday and today about his behavior towards them because during the 2nd debate, Anderson Cooper asked Trump if he ever acted on his "locker room banter" (on a bus during a work interview) about sexually assaulting women... Trump said flat out....NO.
As frustrated as Sweeney is with the Government, she gave this extension for 2 reasons:
1. She doesn't want to sway the election
2. There WILL be settlement talks
Hmmmmm, a BS artist job that pays $1,500/hr? Where do I apply? Haha
I don't disagree, and technically we can pass the blame all the way down to the president who authorized the Fed Reserve.
Lol. They are very good at that it seems
How about blaming Bush for the debt he caused for starters? I have always suspected Obama supported the robbery of the GSEs because he can't balance a budget and needed the cash.
Interesting point. I don't understand a lot about the legal system. If they needed more time why not ask for it at the onset of the order? It's like showing up late to work and then asking the boss to change the showtime so you're not late.
Unbelievable. I don't understand. SMH
We already have a narcissist running the country lol. Where've you been?
What was he exposed for?
Is there any info available?
