Mr. Obama stated that if re-elected, those Govt. programs that are slated to help bring manufacturing jobs back home (i.e. our 825K$ grant check) which have been temorarily put on hold until after the election (per my conversation w/the ceo @ LED's America) will be pushed through if re-elected. Please tell me I'm not the only one who noticed that little two or three sentence statement that may profoundly change our fortunes?

Just got off of the phone w/ LED's America CEO. Apparently, the federal government is holding off on that grant check of 850K until after the election. Once the new/same cabinet is revealed, the finances will be sorted out w/ regards to this grant (and others) as to whether this grant program can still move forward due to the financial strain our country is currently under. Otherwise, yes..the Bettendorf, IA and Washington D.C. mfg. plants are real and are going to happen, and yes... VPER and LED's America are forming an alliance to manufacture LED light bulbs at those two plants. Sounds like that guy has sunken everything he had into trying to make this happen, and just like many of us here, has his fingers crossed that the grant money does go through come Dec./Jan. Hold fast folks, we are either going to be filthy rich, or at worst, are going to stay here at the bottom....
