My current feeling for certs on GSPG is NO. Few reasons. ( keep in my mind I just thought of em a few mins ago they arent realy researched or substantiated)

1: we are still a penny stock
2: If there is a bailout I would like a swift oppurtune to get out
3: What is the benefit? other then us not having our shares manipulated.
6:We are a SEEMINGLY up and coming GOLD MINE, with proven history of gold and recent history of GOLD findings.
4: I have lost all of my fav links and am working to recover them for GSPG, as well as other investment companies/personals, but I do remember 2 or 3 weeks ago GSPG wasn't naked shorted since july. A true concern for sure, But a concern to be dealt with through management , not shareholders.Hopefully this will be adressed (at the BBQ or a CC) ASAP and put behind us.
5: I would never make a move, from a recomendation from another person/peoples without first stepping in there shoes. To get a true view of there recomendation. So unless he/she is your neighbor/family member/ friend, Dont trust em, take what they say to complete your own persanol overall picture of the company and make your own evaluation of a cert execution.

Good question MT. I have been curious about these certs as well. and at one point tried to put together a pro/con list regarding them . But wasnt confident in my results as they were gathered from just some web browsing.I personaly trade for fun (ISRG BE PNHL QMNM NEM GORO GSPG are my current playgrounds, and I feel a bully was let loose in the yard.. I gonna tell on him first chance I get, GSPG is the only playground without a bully in the yard IMO, For my portfolio)

Remeber Yahoo board has no moderation, For every one good post there are 5 in rebuttle. I feel bad for the ladies/gentleman there who have actually made out of pocket expense trips to the mine and report/share there trips with others. The reward for bankrupting our major financial companies. Is a nearly 1/2 milion dollar dayspa treatment. They must be getting there nails painted in gold.

I am not sure of our Mr. Winfiled's current financial postion. But if he is such an investor to afford one of these dayspa treatments ( I assume they are the norm of rich people). He most certainly can afford to keep GSPG running towards production.

I finally broke down and bought a new comp. Looking at recent madness in the markets I kind of am regreting doing it now, Ignorance is bliss.

I am currently in at .021 with nice chunk and have a bit set aside to buy in in case of another dip. Looking at the candles, I think I see signs of upward consolodation. We may have finally hit bottom.

I am very surprised to see GSPG hold up as well as it has during all this panic in the markets. People are pulling there money out and just waiting I think after tommorrow when short selling comes back in to play, The markets will setle a bit. And GSPG will get some trickle down buying affect. If they put it off to the 17th then who knows.

Looking at recent Releases, Interviews,Filings and the Video clip. Reaffirms with me that our Management Team will not let this gem go to crap, Without a fight. Faber and Golden are like Micheal Douglas in Romancing the stone. At the end when the gator bit the guys hand off with the Gem . True I have found myself in a rush mode. because of Scottrade many times.I have only ever used Scott. so I imagine the grass to be greener on the other side of brokerage country.

But what I do enjoy mostly from Scott is that they have employess half my age answering the phones and are fun to mess with. I scream SELL!! or buy!! into the phone when they answer with emotion, and see how long it takes them to ask me which symbol I am referring to or my account number lol. I have had a few say I'm TRYING!!. Priceless, lol. I imagine they are asleep at the wheel most of the time.

Penny stocks are by nature poorly managed companies. This is why they are penny stocks and usually collapse. Some have good management teams and are just bad ideas. We have great management with great track records ( dont forget to do some DD on our board members not just the company). As far as idea.. why not try and reopen the land That has changed the world in many ways. with it's enormus amounts of gold and silver. Are you familiar with the comstock loads reputation?

When volume spikes on a pennystock. they restrict it and make you call in the order, No extra charge and they dont say anythng special. they just want you to call it for some reason.

Nice find RB, ARCA has looked crazy trader for some time. I noticed him sitting at 2.00 this morning with that big 99000 block for a few mins. He has been all over the place latley. I noticed a few times he would sit at the bid with huge block making it look like nice support then when his ask came up he would remove the bid block. and price would fall.... I am not sure if this was covered on this board yet. I havent read it in a bit, but I just noticed this is on the cannot buy list . It appears buying is restricted on this stock. I called scottrade broker and he said he is not sure if it is industry wide but it is scottrade wide. Then he said it might be because of non filing but he is not 100% sure.

I still hold a bit of this at .0007 and am hoping for another run sometime this year. but not being able to buy it all may make that a bit difficult.

Lets not forget the market has monumentaly/historicaly changed today for pennystocks.
Naked shorting must be fullfilled by EOD trading or you lose privelage in the stock you failed to deliver in time. No more waiting for a MM to fix his short over days. They must be filled by days end or gap up next day.. at there expense and they have 6 1/2 hours to correct.

Finding a lie from our management team is quite challenge in it's self. They have made many goals and have at least delivered a portion of there goal to some degree. Getting a company off the ground ( or under it .. in our case) can face many challenges. and to say we are going to wait and see what happens will not bring confidence to prospective shareholders. So our team pushes ahead with full confidence, Heart on sleeve, and in my eyes every intention of making this gem shine.

They have also mentioned that because of the high grade ore found, Which was more then expected. This is the reason behind prolonging the start of production. to further optomize our refining capabilities.

I am on the fence to make a comment about how our management team will react to recent PPS actiivity. But like most aggresive situations (good or bad) strength must be reaquired. More so,! On a positive run.So it shouldn't take much to find soon a constant PPS again.

I have found many times in pennyland that companies are bashed, then about the time it is setting up too run. The attitude changes and most will say I think this time he wont rip us off. Then I just look at there prior resistance and if it is profitable i'll scalp em just below. I feel most use this strategy.
This is not the case for GSPG.Our team does not have this reputation.

I was hoping for a golf tourney myself, instead of BBQ.

I do agree that start of production will make this PPS move, our recent rise in PPS was due to the option of this occcuring as well as the 43-101 hype. But if you can recall some of the recent comments from Mr. Golden he said we can start production tommorrow if we wanted too. we are just trying to optimize our mining plan before we do so.And feel this will benefit our shareholders the most (not daytraders but our shareholders (longs)).I wont be surprised if GSPG starts mining early , stemming from frustration. But I must say that money men like MR. Winfield dont get frustrated. They have no emotions. These sorts of people run the markets because they understand the impact of fear and greed, Not what they feel like.

I expected a lull in PPS after august. I have said in past. But didnt expect lower PPS then .018. and still dont. We were at .018/.015 range early this year waiting for production/43-101. If we get back into this trend with more assetes and defaults secured I will be surprised. but truely not shocked since we are still pennystock. Subpenny would be a dream come true, But most likely wont happen because we are evaluated between .07 and .11 cents.

The last few days of crazy selloff. I believe are directly related to the cray swings in gold and the major markets. All the non producers got hit. and the producers got green. Today some of the producers went red. and the shift in currency will soon come back to the minors as they are the true future of these producers. It is a shame that because of the shift to majors it may apear as a bailout and fear/panic takes hold creating a abnormal selloff.I sold at .03 a few days ago when RB posted his last chart ( much respect for the charters) and I noticed it dipped below .031. I am partial back in at .025. I woke up late today and kicking myself for missing the oppurtunity to buy at .01 (grats to you guys), I undrestand the value of this company and will sell some if I see profit to be made, But will not abandon GSPG until buyout or a true valuation of GSPG can be made (which may be 5 to 10 years) I admire the fact that GSPG was quick to release a PR saying nothing has changed. and the BBQ anouncement shortly after says any questions/concerns you have about the future of GSPG, can be addresed between 10 and 4 on this day. A true sign of confidence from our team.

Very curious to see what tommorrow brings.
My jaw is still on the floor. Crude barely moved today and POG skyrocket biggest move in history.... Should be corrections soon. But good sign where people are leaning now to keep there money safe (GOLD FEVER). Investors seem to have shifted from potential miners to actual miners. Also Bob with over 40 years experience in mining is now on the board . fresh from getting newmonts biggest mine off the ground. Without structred evidance. It is hard to entertain the idea of secret codes being given in such an obvious manner. So MM's who are fighting to get the best prices on share prices are telling each other what there strategies are? I have been watching the L11 for GSPG almost daily and per tick since febuary and may have seen 2 or 3 trades at 100 since then. I have been somewhat busy last 2 weeks but I do run the L11 all day and review it when I return home. I may have overlooked any recent influx of secret codes. but I can guarentee that the last 7 1/2 months (prior to last 2 weeks)for GSPG has had very few of these sorts of secret trades. If you could snapshot these codes being sent and there affects, It would be structured at least. Or maybe find someone who has done this. If I have noticed anything strange on the L11 latley it has been all of the Sold Out Of Sequence executions made.. and yes it has been only over the last 2 weeks for the SOLD O.O.S.. Maybe it's new hire, A farsighted MM who reads the screen codes too slow.. lol.

These low trades could even be as simple as someone teaching one of there children to invest.?

IE; Little johnnies ten dollar allownace might get them 5 shares of WAMU. but why teach your children to invest follishly in a sinking ship. or a blue chip with 8% gains .. If your lucky for the year. Instead have em invest there $10.00 in a company that may shock em with 2000% returns over a few months. and they can buy there own overpriced shoes with pride.

It is true garbage. Almost comparable to the boogieman.

If you watch the L11 closely. You wil notice the only trades made like this are made with a PPS change ( they are just closing the price(( as well as the round trip trades ((( but thats another issue))) )) ).They also are as rare as Yetti sightings. Most dont realize the MM's do not feel threatened and could care less about beating the shareholders. They are at war with each other.to get the best price's to execute.

IE. Make a trade with an abnormal amount like 999 instead of 1000.. you will notice if you do this 3 times you will not see your 999 amount traded on the executed list every time. the MM's are middle men, as well as market movers, Only executing orders as best they can to make a profit in the small amount of time given to them, All or none orders are usually combined with someones order who didnt click the button to fill an order before the PPS closes. so your 999 order may have an extra 1 from someone else's order to create 1000 making it even number for a better cahnce to get there order through and make a comission, And to close a PPS. This was asked a few weeks ago on this board. I was curios as well and did some digging on this. I did find some pretty cool stuff about which type of brokers to use (Because some types of brokers are required to sell when you buy and buy when you sell, Directly against your order so they can get a instant gain off your trade) But I didnt find anything I thought to be respectable enuff to post a link or discuss here.This is a popular rumor ( I feel it too be just rumor still untill proven otherwise)... But I think I am more concerned with the boogieman peekin on my passwords from the closet then MM's speaking some sort of childish grade pig latin to each other. 100 200 300 400 500 ... You would think if this was a secret code they wouldnt make it so obvious..

GREAT DAY by the way. I am guessing monday and tuesday will be even better.I got the death grip on my shares again . And have a few thoughts about the comparisons between the conference and the summit coming up. Bullish thoughts but should be fun to discuss if I can find some time. GLTA!!

Love the blog darby. It makes me very happy to be able to discuss so many various angles on how to invest in GSPG, In an honest manner. I do believe most that post here are honest and realize you cant swing this stock with discussions. RBkiss and/or DR Penny said it best a few months ago . charting is like trading with a safety net.

That being said... (here comes my pump lol).

During the presentation, GoldSpring’s President and CEO, Rob Faber, and Chief Operating Officer, Jim Golden, will announce results of the 43-101 resource report. The report, which was prepared by Telesto Engineering, an independent mining engineering firm, will include results from 57 drill holes, including 19 additional holes that were recently drilled. The preliminary report, which was released in June 2008, was based on the existing data plus GoldSpring's 38 drill holes and indicated a resource of 4,926,000 tons grading 0.080 ounces per ton gold containing 392,000 ounces at a cutoff grade of 0.030 ounces per ton.

I had a friend read this. and asked em how many drill results do you think they will have.. he said 57 +19 is 76 right?. I am not a english major .. nor minor. at best. but if it werent for the comma after 57 drill holes, I would say they have an extra 19 holes to disclose. I then showed em how 38 + 19 = 57. He agrees with me that there should be 57 holes discussed.. I do believe this too be correct but my first impression upon reading this was 57 + 19. I am curious if anyone else read it like that. Its fun money but I feel that quite a few are about to dump some serious money on the rumor run. And this puppy will run like a Bull, In a China Shop, In buffalo, During Wing Night.

I mentioned prior that we kissed the 50 ma at .o4ish ... I noticed soon after my post that the 20 ma is .042..therefore I am predicting .042 our post summit support (because of direct corelation of the prior .042 target). I have no idea what this will shoot to pre summit report but I am looking for .064 or .078 to test. for selloff.

I am usually wrong, But I learn more this way so I feel right... GLTA!!

We kissed the 50 ma. at.04ish. Would love to see us get back on track with the 20 day. but this is fine for now. I filled the rest of my investment in GSPG at .037. With a loss of about 5% of prior holdings. I should have been stronger, stuck to my guns and just held the bag a bit longer.I got carried away with my savy/poor attempts to increase my holdings and wound up with a Free Ride violation (still no margin account yet).Aperently the penalty for this, Is a call from your broker saying stop it,lol.

The MACD is turning up nicely,


Hopefully the summit will attract as much excitement as the red chip conference. combined with reserve report. I feel safe buying back in now (fingers crossed). GLTA.

ARCA was sitting on the ask with 50,000 at .0375 . What an idiot ARCA is (lol). With higher volume the MM's have little affect on PPS. I do believe they are just doing there thing regardless and when volume slows they stand out long enuff to be noticed (watch a blue chip L11 and will be better understood). I'll post L11 tommorrow when ARCA pops in so those without it can see what is being referred to.

I'm back in 50% at .0362.hoping to get back in on strength time will tell. I am waiting for the wedge to break before I throw the rest back in.

108 Companies total so far, 15 of which are private. Ranging in price from $0.036 (GSPG) to $77.49 (EQIX).

The only other miner I can find on the list is IRBAY which is now IRBGY. Although I cant seem to find any boards or info about IRBGY. This should give us some main focus for any investor's interested in PM's.

Higher lows, Small rising wedge forming from the last few days. MACD starting to round up. Maybe even a convergence at the 0 line. POG hangin around 800. I would like to see more volume but I am sure the eyes are upon us waiting to jump back in. And when volume comes it will be like a dam breaking.

The preliminary May 2008 resource calculations Includes historic drilling plus 41.5 of the fifty revers holes driled by Goldspring since November 2007.The total number of drill holes involved in the resource totaled 487 as of the end of May 2008.The total number of gold assays (drill intercepts)involved in the resource calculation totaled 18,437.Silver was not modeled in this interim report.A total of 54 holes have been drilled in the comstock mine;In the area of Hartford Hill thru the end of May 2008.Assays were pending for the balance of 13 holes.

I reread this, And was not happy that I didnt notice this earlier.

I still like GSPG, but am all out untill PPS settles. The old assays where RUMORED ( I said RUMORED (I said)) to be sugar coated. That realy shouldn't afect GSPG today but since they are using the old assays I believe this is noticed by most shareholders. and will affect PPS for a bit.

41.5 fo 487 holes drilled from over 8 years ago .. Shouldnt really put us at .10 .. I am thinking we may go back to .02 soon preredchip conference style trading for this one. Then move up accordingly after the 43-101 to get back in the .07 range.

I am a horrible chartist. But with little T/A I work with I am guessing .028 and possibly .025 in near future.

I feel bad for my friends I told to buy in at .052 .. but screw em I told em origanly to buy in at .015.. next time they'll listen. They arent selling thuogh We all feel we will be back to this PPS within some time. It is not a loss until you sell.

I sold 1/3 position at .035 . If we can close over .036 i'll throw em back in. If we dont I plan to wait for .03 again,.. I believe it is our next support line . Hopefully that one holds. If not I'll sell another third and wait to see what happens in the mid .02's support line.

The Telesto 43-101 resource report will include an additional 19 holes as a result of increased exploration activity, and will be based on GoldSpring's 57 drill holes plus numerous historic drill holes largely drilled in the 1990's. The remaining geologic and assay data has been forwarded to the engineer, and GoldSpring anticipates receiving the report this month. The final nine holes added in the Telesto estimate are summarized in the table below.

I did some digging to try and find those old results, Cant seem to find em. I am GUESSING they will add much more value. But on the other hand I have heard RUMOR's that they were not properly evaluated from the RB board.
