We'll tolerate JJ as long as you stick around ;)
Can I ask you to post a fresh "Penny_TA Annotated Chart for CMTN" for all of us.
Accum/Dist has been impressive lately as well.
I think we all deserve something nice to look at besides what had become the norm.
Thanks In Advance, and GL!!
Ohh, here's a good one!!!
FYI, Dr. Leatt is on the Medical Advisory Board for the MSA, and has been for years. There is a strong relationship there.
The FIM (Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme) is a HUGE sanctioning body within the sport. If any large group were to mandate the use of Neck Braces, it would be the FIM (or less likely, the AMA)
Dr. Leatt has hinted that he has had some very positive dialogue recently with the FIM, and just to prove the correlation...this from yesterday!!!
"FUNCHAL, 27 August 2007 – Youthstream and MSA (Motorsport South Africa) have signed a five year agreement starting from 2008 until 2012, for the organization of the FIM Grand Prix of South Africa, to be held at Alkmaar Raceway, near Nelspruit.
Nelspruit is 30 kilometres away from one of the entrance gates to the Kruger Park; there is an International Airport at Kruger Park, which means that the bikes can be freighted directly from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to Nelspruit. This of course also means that officials and teams can either fly from Johannesburg to Nelspruit directly, or for those who want to drive there, it is about a two and a half hour drive. There are several daily flights from Johannesburg to Nelspruit. With Nelspruit being situated so close to the Kruger Park, there are many hotels and accommodation will not be a problem."
“I want to thank MSA, and especially its Managing Director, Mrs. Beaulah Schoeman, for their investment, will and valuable support in stabilizing the FIM Motocross World Championship in South Africa.” Youthstream’s President, Giuseppe Luongo said. “This is the safest solution: by having the contract made directly between Youthstream and the National Federation, we are able to guarantee everyone a high level of organization and secure the future of Motocross in South Africa.”
“I am very happy that South Africa will be a venue of the FIM Motocross World Championship for the years to come,” Dr. Wolfgang Srb, FIM/CMS President, said. “I wish MSA and Youthstream good luck and a lot of success for this most important project.” “MSA is extremely happy that the future of the FIM Grand Prix of South Africa has been secured for our country for the next five years – especially as this event is the only World Championship motorsport event in South Africa,” Managing Director of Motorsport S.A., Beaulah Schoeman, said. “We have always enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Youthstream and look forward to the challenge of continuing to host a round in this prestigious FIM World Championship series.
MSA extends its sincere appreciation to Youthstream for their confidence in MSA and work has already commenced to ensure the success of the event.”
Good buy - way to show patience!!
Company is stronger than ever.
See, I disagree there especially here because they Are doing something that has not been done before.
We'd like to make sure the business model is successful before applying it elsewhere, no doubt, but at the end of the day, if they and their investors are confident in their research, they might as well grow into the biggest sport in the world.
What would really suck would be if someone else beat them to it. it is smart for them not to let that happen.
Mr. Bell obviously has heavy soccer contacts and a passion for the sport.
He also has the money to do whatever he wants, and he wants to do this.
Go Get em!!!
Seems like still very solid Bid support at .30, and More MM's there, as well.
I just don't want any goofy gaps that we "have to fill" later ;)
For those without L2, BxA = 3x.30 - 1x.40

From RacerX Magazine: "Ask Ping" section:
"Hey ping,
Does it seem to be getting worse out there? Almost every day there is some type of major injury in are sport, but over the past 2 years it has gone threw the roof. I broke my neck and back in September ‘06 (c1-to-t10). Every parent or rider I see I stress the Leatt brace. They say its too much money. I think it should be mandatory to ride at a track. Also, I don’t see you wearing one what’s up with that.........?"
Dear ?,
There have been an alarming number of serious injuries over the past few years. Motocross has always been a tough sport; if something isn’t broken or torn then it is bruised or sore. That’s just the way our sport is. But the recent string of neck and back injuries is startling and I hope people are taking notice. The cause could be the faster, heavier four-strokes that have consumed the sport. It could be that there are more riders than ever before and that is increasing the number of injuries. Maybe it’s got something to do with riders going faster than ever before at a young age on tracks that have become more Supercross than motocross. Or maybe the world is just a smaller place and we hear about injuries all over the sport instead of just our own areas.
Whatever it is, I hope parents, recreational riders and pro riders continue to use the best protective equipment out there. The Leatt Brace seems to be a good start and I do wear one. In fact, it’s gotten to where I can’t ride a motocross track without one. It has become just as important as my Asterisk knee braces. If you saw a picture of me without one on it is either old or from a supermoto race. The protective equipment of supermoto doesn’t leave room for the brace but we are working on it. Thanks for the letter and I wish you the best."

A video for wings for life foundation, fyi.
It really just takes a little imagination and foresight.
The sport itself will help alot - People are passionate about it.
There are ideas everywhere.
I am Really looking forward to the upgraded website.........
(With a forum, maybe???)
Cool Idea!! (the budweiser, too - lol)
I would be very surprised to see even .28 again, let alone .25.
If that happens, I would wager that it'd be a designed shake out.
Here is a link to the report again, btw.
http://www.otcbb.com/asp/tradeact_mv.asp?SearchBy=issue&Issue=leat&SortBy=volume&Month=7...
I used scottrade b4 with no problems, but not since they lost representation.
I use Eturd, now - not real happy with the service, but they let me trade LEAT with no problems.
My buddy had the same problem with ameritrade - I told him to buy just before the big run, and he was PISSED he couldn't.
Sorry for the delayed response - and I do understand your concern.
As someone who has followed this company since well before it was even released in the U.S., I will tell you what I have seen.
BEFORE THE SEC SLAPPED them with a bogus suspension, this company was at the forefront with information. Their financials were prompt, consistent, and relatively well publicized. They kept investors up to date with PR's (about) bi-weekly, and were very proud of their growth.
SINCE, the suspension, I have been very surprised at how much:
A), their product has grown worldwide, and
B), how quiet they have been about their situation.
I think (my opinion, of course), that they were so taken aback by the suspension, that they were initially afraid to look too good without confirmed documentation.
It also seems as though they were offended by the "American" SEC, and they at that point knew how well their product was doing, that it was almost a "I'm taking my ball and going home" mentality.
At this point, they don't need us.
They have not diluted, they spend money wisely, and are at this point flush with cash to spend on growth (at least their comfort level of it).
They have NEVER had a problem securing enough financing through large private investors. What do they need U.S. Penny investors for? (They did at first, but not now)
Many companies want investors so they can dilute excessively and/or screw the investors over, correct? Neither is the case here.
At this point, they seem content to take their time and do things right, so the SEC or no one else pulls any crap.
Probably not what you want to hear, I know, BUT.....
The fact remains that they have sold A TON of braces since their last reporting date - at 400-600 dollars a pop.
If you look at the just released numbers, they show something you rarely see in this realm - GROSS PROFIT.
And that is nothing compared to from March 31 til present.
All of these things will sort themselves out - the SEC, the Q2 and beyond numbers, and the expected (continued) growth.
I am surprised at this point that they are keeeping the good news quiet, but I am hoping (hate that word) that they are holding back for a big release of good info - including SEC resolution.
And as far as 100k available - I wouldn't worry about .2% of the float. Bigger money than you or I have been buying like they do - without raising the PPS. They know a good thing.
This, my friend, is still a rare opportunity, and I hope that you are a part of it when folks take notice.
Good Luck - sorry for another book ;)
I am wondering the same thing - Avondale has a Market Maker ID (AVON), but according to share reports, they have not "traded" any shares of CMTN or SPNI way back to the middle of last year.
Here is a link to a site I use alot for this info, btw:
http://www.otcbb.com/asp/tradeact_mv.asp?SearchBy=mp&Issue=AVON&SortBy=volume&Month=7-1-...
Anyway, they seem to have gotten their shares "off-market", and it does make me wonder what is the real story.
Sad thing is, we may never be able to figure that out, ALTHOUGH - since it has been disclosed it is certainly a fair game question to ask Curtis, or Bob, or the "IR guy" du jour.
Everyone knows how much I love the company here, but just tossing my thoughts in the ring.
This is still a great price to accumulate, IMO.
Most important, though, are messages like this one:
"Just wanted to share my story.
My son crashed yesterday during his final moto of the day. He rides a Polini X1 in the 4-6 class. Anyway, nobody saw the crash but the flagger in that area. It was one of those crashes where they don't even grab the yellow flag, go straight for the medic flag and take off running to help the child. Apparently my son came over a jump and landed wrong, going over the handlebars. Cart wheeled multiple times, flew through the air, landed on his head and then the bike came down on top of his back (almost 30 ft from where he started).
All I knew at the time was he didn't come around the back side of the track behind the kid we knew he was directly behind. Dad and I started walking to find him, figured he slid out and the bike flooded or something (it was muddy). Well, then we saw all the medics running and coming from all directions on foot/4-wheelers etc, so we ran too. Hunter was SCREAMING "I can't move my arm, it hurts, don’t touch it, it hurts", huge tears coming down his face. We assumed it was the collarbone.
After the medics checked him over, we headed to the ER for an x-ray. Nothing was broken and no concussion, just bumps, bruises and a little road rash. On the way home from the ER my son said "Thank you for getting the Leatt Brace, My head bumped all over and I could feel it stopping my helmet". This from a 7 year old! This morning he has even more bruises, one of them being an almost perfect impression of the brace down his back and around his left shoulder.
My son was wearing: boots, knee/shin guards, elbow pads, kidney belt, chest protector with rib guard, the Leatt brace, helmet with the LockJaw (also a great investment) and of course goggles and gloves.
Make your own opinion, but I'm convinced the brace not only protected his neck while being thrown around and landing on his head, but also protected his back/shoulder from the impact of the bike landing on him. The Leatt Brace is definitely an investment I'm glad I made."

Don't know any more than you about those - other than the fact that they should be big ;)
The "Moto GPX" neck brace (www.leatt-brace.com) has really caught on in Southern California, especially in the off-road motorcycle racing scene.
There was recently a spinal injury in Nevada, in which the motorcycle rider was wearing the brace, and sustained a spinal injury to his lower thorax, resulting in partial paralysis. Word spread that he did not suffer any neck injuries, and ever since, the braces are flying off shelves.
This is the latest in a long line of neck-protection devices, which up till now have been marketed as "neck strain relievers". The Leatt brace was invented by a medical doctor, and claims it "helps reduce the risk" of spinal injuries when engaging in motorsports. This claim is backed purely off computer simulations and limited lab tests (no statistical research or injury data has been published).
My question for you folks is two-fold:
1) Do you EMT-Ps and others believe this product is effective?
2) How the heck do we provide spinal stabilization for patients wearing this device?
Any thoughts are appreciated, as my team will likely be seeing more patients wearing these in the coming months.

Beginning March 10 all 65cc, 85cc, and 150cc Youth classes will require neck protection either a neck roll type device or a LEATT Brace. REM will have neck rolls available for racers who do not have them. Should a racer in these categories choose not to wear neck protection a waiver will be available for parents to sign stating that they do not wish their child to use such a device. REM recommends that all racers of all ages use whatever technology is available to lessen the severity of injuries. It is entirely logical to think of a future where this type of equipment is mandatory for all motocross competition.

TheComediaCorp.com is updated.
It is on there a couple of places.
Did you see how many jobs they have posted on 11on11.com?
They are hiring like everywhere.
Trouble is, they want to pay you in Stock Options.......(just kidding ;)
Call 'em up!
Let's get this show on the road!!!
So, whuddya think, they need like an Oscar-Mayer Weiner mobile, but instead shaped like a Football?
Just rolling across Middle America....
Awesome - They won't be in Baltimore 'til October 17 so you'll get the first crack at 'em.
They'll be through on a Wednesday, Hmmmm, that'll be interesing...
Well, at least the Ravens Smashed up on the Iggles on Monday.
Final score : 29-3
The game looked like Men playing against boys - kinda feel sorry for those Philly Fans this year - we put a hurtin on 'em.
It's an omen!!!
I wonder why they decided to put this PR out so early in the AM - The others have been at around 9:30 AM.
They must be really excited about this one :)
3:05 AM Pacific Time?
It will be great that they are getting out there and shaking hands - remember the long list of football greats and coaches that are already involved here?
When the likes of Barry Switzer and Roger Craig (and all the others) are going back to their respective schools and even conferences on a local, personal level - you know people will be excited and want to be a part of it.
I guess that may be true, but honestly, have youy seen any evidence of the company using 30 mil in advertising as of yet?
The plan seemed to be all along to utilize these appropriated funds "when all the pieces are in place" so to speak.
As the website comes online, and (hopefully) offers an entertaining venue for these footballers, AND as Football season is fast approaching, I would certainly think that this is the right time.
48 States and who-knows-how-many Football events run by knowledgable AFA Reps is not a cheap thing to pull off.
This IMO has to be "The Grassroots Campaign" that was set to utilize these funds. I am certainly hoping that is the case.
Heck, you deserve it after yesterday's call...
Congrats!!!!
FYI, Your old friend CoMedia (CMTN) - (Remember the SPNI R/S fiasco?) - has News out today!! Thought you might have some interest. The Chart may be screaming double bottom, but I'll let you all be the judges there...

CoMedia Corporation's Subsidiary American Football Alumni Hits the Road
Wednesday August 15, 6:05 am ET
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CoMedia Corporation's (Pink Sheets:CMTN - News) wholly owned subsidiary America Football Alumni ("AFA") is launching its grass roots marketing campaign with a national tour beginning August 23, 2007. The tour will travel through the contiguous 48 states, reaching over 100 cities prior to December 8th 2007. Our football rep organization, AFA, is sponsoring meetings for players and coaches city by city, throughout the country with the goal of accelerating growth of our membership base and augmenting the reach of our web-based digital marketing.
Mr. Curtis Watts stated, "Our data shows that approximately 17 million tickets were sold by the NFL for games in the 2006 season. During the same season, 225 million tickets were sold to High School games. That's where the people are and that's where we are going." Mr. Watts added, "We are going state by state, city by city because AFA is more than just a web site. Unity of purpose wins games and our business model is powered by the size and voice of our network of members. We know we cannot meet the 30 million former players and coaches that are our market, but to bring value to our members, we plan to meet as many as we can. By knowing our members, we are better able to bring them value which in turn will drive the success of our business."
The goal of this first AFA "Road Trip" is to provide American Football Alumni the opportunity to reach out to smaller communities. We want to introduce the benefits of membership in AFA. Beyond the shared experience, AFA will offer its members important life services such as our insurance programs tailored to families of players and former players and other exclusive services such as travel services offered by the Players and Coaches Association (PACA) . AFA plans to be everywhere they play football from visiting with Coach Doug Brown of Idabel High School in Idabel, Oklahoma to tailgating at the Florida vs. Florida State game in Gainesville, Florida.
A full calendar of locations and dates will be available at www.TheComediaCorp.com site. Update and video clips from the stops along the way will be posted at www.11on11.com

I guess 30 million in ad budgeting will get you an All Expense Paid Trip All Over The Country - to meet with your peers face to face and grow your business The Old Fashioned Way.
I Really Like It - Makes alot of sense to do it this way. at each stop along the way, make an online group for that stop (high school, College, etc.), and as people join from there together, the thing grows like wildfire.
It really is no big secret that the MySpaces and classmates.com's of the world grow so big and so fast because it is human nature to socially interact with those with similar interests.
People are PASSIONATE about football - the best American Sport!! What a great Football Season this should be!!
Bring It On - Gainesville, Ann Arbor, South Bend, Austin, Oklahoma City, Happy Valley, Boise - ALL OF THEM!!!
They are Ready For Some Football!!!
WOW. Very Sobering.
Back to Chris Blais - His wife posted this TODAY -
"Again, thank you everyone! We have so many wonderful friends and people praying for us. Thank you MaryAnn & Barry. We know it's really hard for some to even know what to say sometimes. Everyone handles things in their own way. Some want to come and see Chris, but they just can't right now. We totally understand. Dan, it's great to hear from you. We saw your dad at Slash X a few weeks back. Of course Chris was giving him some mechanical advice!
We have had 4 people tell us in the last couple days that they've purchased the Leatt Neck Brace. Any money that we have left over from all of these wonderful donations and after all our medical bills are paid will be given back to our racing community. Chris and I have already been discussing ideas about becoming a dealer for Leatt and also purchasing braces to give as donations or prizes, and also teaching more about them to people and how they work.
We have been in contact with Dr. Leatt and are sending him Chris' brace along with Chris' Xrays. This will help in the further development of the brace. It can only get better."
Talk about belief in a product!!
Surreal.

GET WELL CHRIS BLAIS!!!
Yes, I have seen this as well - looks like it will debut on the 20th of this month.
Funny how if you read this thread, it seems as if the owner of FRO (posting as Mook) insinuates that he is aware of Leatt's strong patents, but he is going forward in the face of them.
Seems like the thread itself shows malicious intent.
Of course, the main thing to worry about is someone getting hurt after thinking they are safe because of a "backyard" neck brace.
I would put the years of BMW/KTM/Leatt/Red Bull testing up against anything else at this point.
And our patents as well.

Since you have seen those things, I am assuming you have seen what happened to KTM Dakar Rider Chris Blais?
I have been following him for a long while from his Dakar performances, and he and his family have always come across as great people. He is easy to root for, and he surely has my prayers.
This from a post from his wife.
"THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU! Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. The positive feed from all of you is helping us get through this rough spot.
Chris is amazing. He is keeping me positive and I'm trying to do be so strong for him. The first thing he said was he has no regrets. The second thing he said was that maybe some day he will save someone else's life by being a good example by wearing the Leatt Neck Brace. He truly feels this thing saved his life. Cyril had asked him on Day 1 of the pre-run if they should wear the braces (because he didn't know how fast/slow they would be pre-running) - Chris said "We need to wear them always. We are setting an example." Cyril understood. The next thing he did was give David/Quinn a handheld radio to carry with them and also one for himself/Cyril. He saved his own life!
Basically what happened was Chris was in silt and hit a square-edge. He said he was only going about 50mph. He did a nose-wheelie for quite a ways trying to save it. He went over the bars hitting head first then his head folded to the left, breaking his collar bone and the neck brace. It takes 1500 pounds of pressure to break the brace. It did it's job. The next thing that happened was that the bike landed on Chris, crushing in into the ground stomach side up. This is probably what broke his T7 vertabre. Some of the fragments of bone from the T7 were "resting" on/in his spinal cord like splinters causing the leg numbness. He never lost consciousness while down on the ground but said to Johnny and Quinn "I need a helicopter". Johnny and Quinn would not let Chris be taken out of the desert any other way (because at one point there were talks of driving him out to the highway by the EMT's and others from what I understand).
This all happened about 30 miles north of Tonopah, NV. This is a very rural area and also part of the problem of us trying to get the help Chris needed. Nobody's fault but just saying, things could have gone way more wrong and thank God for all of the people that were there with him and from what I understand, there were quite a handful of bike guys and truck racers. THANK YOU To these people!
The surgery took 4 hours and the splinters were removed and the T7 was fused to the other vertabre. The surgery was done immediately on Sunday night by a very known specialist here in Reno. He said the surgery went perfectly and it could not have gone any better. Thank you Mr. Song!
Now we wait. We wait for the swelling to go down and for the healing to continue.
Chris has been doing great the whole time. He is not hooked up to any machines at all at this point. As of last night, he was moved from ICU to critical care where he has his own private room. Yes he's sore and yes he's ready to jump up but just can't right now. He's been sitting up for hours at a time and is able to do many things by himself. They are pushing him along and he is doing everything that is asked of him times 10. He wants to get to rehab to start the process. They have never once said that his leg numbness is permanent - never once."
In the past I have read about horrible stories like Andy Caldecott (RIP), James Marshall, and countless others. These stories are so much better.
This Brace and this company is WAY bigger than just a stock.
Very good finds Stu - Leatt has built a brand at this point, making it easier to grow into new markets.
Here it is tied to mountainbiking, as well.
