I like the news about the upcomming agreement with bio--- i wonder if it will be a buyout? merger? what exactly is going on? I also noticed that every day the past couple of days somone has bought 1m shares consistantly, and one specific time period. Also, notice the chart pattern we have forming a double bottom. I think its a great time to buy in, as only great things can come of these two instances concurring with one another. Also look at our accumulation ;)
I'm out of AURC--- Here's why
Everytime we go up, we get sold into, and another CEO resigns. Enough said.
Google "Disney" "Stan Lee"=540,000hits .21sec
Are we producing products and services for disney since they are going under a major restructure? Is that what the deal really is? It did say exclusive. Maybe thats its.
THoughts?
BOOOOOOOYAAAAAAA!!!! HERE WE GO!!!
that means were gonna jump today or tomorrow IMO--- they are trying to shake weak hands loose with silly MM games such as seen with your trade. Bidwacking I believe it is called.
yes sir me too! If it goes to .25 today I will be exstatic.
if you dont understand how this could turn out to be a 30+ stock then you dont understand how stock prices work.
streetsmart again says were up .0001,, wtf
Excerpts Leading to my THeory
Take this PR--- I'll bold what i think is relevent to the theory that pow entertainment will take over all forms of entertainment production for DIsney.
BURBANK, Calif., June 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The Walt Disney Studios has entered into an exclusive multi-year first look deal with "Spider-Man" creator and producer Stan Lee and his production company POW! Entertainment, it was announced by Dick Cook, chairman, The Walt Disney Studios.
Under the terms of the agreement, Lee and his production company will develop and produce all forms of entertainment.
"As the father of such renowned comic book heroes as Spider-Man, The Hulk, X-Men among others, Stan is considered one of the most creative and inventive forces in the industry today. His innate talent of tapping into the human qualities of his super hero characters has certainly struck a chord with generations of audiences and readers around the world," stated Cook in making the announcement. "We are honored to be working with someone as formidable as Stan and his production company and welcome them to the Disney family."
"It's like the realization of a dream. Ever since I was a young boy, Disney represented the best and most exciting film fare to me. And now, many decades later, with movies such as their incredible Pirates of the Caribbean spectaculars, Disney is still at the forefront of family entertainment, excelling in live action, animation, TV, theme parks -- whatever it takes to bring fun and fantasy to audiences everywhere. I look forward with indescribable enthusiasm to being a part of that world and contributing whatever I can to keep the legend alive and growing," said Stan Lee, chairman of POW! Entertainment.
Oren Aviv, president, Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, added, "Stan Lee is a living legend in the world of pop culture and his characters and stories have been the inspiration for some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters. We're very excited to be working with him and his talented team in creating some incredible new motion picture experiences. Stan has so many fantastic new ideas for films, and we can't wait to get started."

In fact, it's hard to think of another individual who has created as many memorable and appealing characters. We're thrilled that Stan has decided to make Disney his new home, and feel very fortunate to be collaborating with him on a wide range of new projects for all divisions of our company. His track record is impressive by any measure, and Home Entertainment is sure to benefit from his creations."
Gill Champion, POW! Entertainment, COO says, "There can be no better opportunity to perpetuate the Stan Lee/Pow! brand for all media than to be associated with the Disney Studio. No one better understands the incalculable value and importance of Developing, Producing, Distributing and Marketing new global franchises. We are incredibly impressed with the professionalism and valuable input from the executive and creative talent whom we now so eagerly join."

REcent release from DIS
(related) Walt Disney Co. (DIS) confirmed that it plans to unify several divisions within its TV and film operations and form a new unit to distribute movies, TV shows, and other entertainment around the world.

There you have it. Release from disney stating they are restructuring the TV/FILM operations to form a new unit, to do exactly what they commented on above "
Under the terms of the agreement, Lee and his production company will develop and produce all forms of entertainment."
FIrst look deal my ass, this is a buyout. I can smell it from a mile away.
this one too admin
repeate please delete
IF you read the article about the first look deal with disney, in the above IBOX, you will see alot of things that suggest POW entertainment will produce all forms for disney as suggested in your article. GO ahead and try and piece it together before I layout my highlights so I can see if you pick up on the same clues...
This is a fact: DISNEY IS SNEAKY. THey wouldn't outright disclose the terms of the agreement because then it would show exactly what is going on. Just like hunting for mouse ears while your in their parks(Most dont know about), disney is going to play games. Thats why the PRS are in control by disney. They like mystery, even in their investment opportunities.
IF we are right, and pow will produce all forms of entertainment for disney studios, we are sitting on a $30.00+ stock. That means huge returns for those savvy----- avast scally wags, your plunder has arrived.
how about a PR related to financials that weren't disclosed??????? Thats bs to keep the shareholders in the dark.
WE NEED A PR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
streetsmart again says paimp up .0001 today. 0 volume however.
Indeed! I figured its about 15 trillion possible converted @10000:1 rate, so thats nearly half of the OS of 40 trillion. That only leaves 25 trillion TOTAL OS, but in public float form which total is 22 trillion, leaves only 7 trillion left. I own 125 million which turns out to be about one tenth of a percent of the total public float, which means if there is a scramble for shares, and only 7 trillion shares are available, my .1% is going to matter. Like you stated, we can call the prices if thier is a mass cover @ the end of 35 days from the declaration date of the law, june 13th 2007. That means the last day to cover any illegally shorted account, that is outstanding, must be paid in full by AUG 2 2007 if it is 35 BUSINESS days, and JULY 18 2007 if all days considered business and non. We will know whether or not paimp has been affected by phantom shares by the end of these dates. At least its in the near future, and not 2011 like the CD's lmao
haha mr odiaz you will indeed control the price. As for me, my peuny share amount wont amount to much. Only 125m--- I recall your position in the B's?
News out.. Yeah right
my streetsmart shows paim up .0001 today, on 0 volume... THUS yesterdays Ah TRADE was legit, and it IS indeed short covering likeyou say... Maybe we'll get some action, we need to call our brokers and get them to lift the trading restrictions so we can free trade into the buyin--- haha too bad the brokers are the one's buying in, why would they let us sell into it?
Paimp traded as a result of the beginning of the Phantom Short Share Cover Escapaada
OT:I like pudding, but I dont like jello.
I SMELL AH PR
ok so we have alot less out standing shares, however, disney has been around for a lot longer, as well as it has been traded longer. Pow is still a baby, and could very well offer splits as dividends, forward splits, etc. Great investing opportunity!
low float, and its DISNEY... if we produce all forms of ent for them, basically acting like a replacement for their studio, for multi-year as stated in the PR..... WOW is all I can say.. I dont have any numbers to work with other than disney is trading @ 35 dollars per share with a simmilar share structure... POW wont be as big as disney obviously, however, if they start to produce everything for disney it will be as if POWN is DISNEY; acting as General Motors producing Chevy's, or as DaimlerCHrysler producing Jeep's, Ford as Mercury, etc...
For every 116m in market cap gains, we will go up one dollar.
so is lee producing DISNEY products for Walt Disney? From what I've read, it sounds like Pow Entertainment is going to be disney's new company that manufactures, produces, creates, all forms of entertainment for disney. Although, it could be a deal inwhich LEE has something DISNEY wants, and DISNEY is going to let POW produce, create, and manufacture all involved with that specific entity.
Here's the possibilities:
If scenario one happends, any investor in POWN will be very well to due.. I would guess we end up somewhere in the $25.00 range
If scenario two happends, any investor in POWN will get a small return, probably end up in the 1.00-5.00 range
Either way, you will make money.. Its just a question as to how much. We will learn this when they release some kind of information, hopefully the financial information, about the deal.
I agree with you 100%, and I am very interested to see how this turns out for immediate shareholders and long term holders alike.
So if we are under the radar, and according to TV guide he has first dibs on productions out of disney, when the financials come out it will be on the news "Disney bla bla bla POWN @ .25"--- these fireworks for shareholders will be greater than any park closing activity disney could imagine.
What it sounds like to me, according to what I've read thus far, is that Disney is going to use Pow ent as their main production studio for all forms of entertainment. Whats the $ value on something like that???? I really donknow... Im curious as to the transcript that the tv guide has on their current issue.. If anyone has it, please type it in for all to read... Thanks
i believe stan worked for marvel at the time when he created the characters, therefore, the characters are a property of marvel. Also, stan does get 10% royalty for every dollar marvel makes from his work. New fantistic four movie brings in lots of money? He gets 10%..... Now the ? is, does he get the 10% or does POWN get the 10%???
so for every 116.9M dollars that comes in, our pps goes up $1.00--- think the disney deal will be worth more than 116 millioN?
Contract $$$ = +$1.00 pps
What amount of contract money do we need to see to raise the pps by one dollar? If theres 250 million total OS--- thats 250 million contract dollars IMO... any other #'s?
Disney signs deal with pown.pk $5++++
disney bought pixar for 7.8 billion, how much is stan lee's company worth if they get bought out? I would think we can realistically see a $30.00 buyout pps in the near future. We'll probably get up to 5.00 from disney, then a dollar more for each more 'paris' style anime they come out with. e
whoa keemosabe
i think we'll get AH PR
I can't believe we made it on MSNBC thats chaos-- im surprised the rush hasn't started yet.... We are all waiting on the financial terms of the disney agreement, which must be large because they weren't disclosed on purpose. Fireworks before the 4th can be found @ pown
I WANT PR!!!! $$$$ TERMS PL33Z
im down like a clown with pown charlie brown all around the town and even back around
Im the anxious shareholder
i did.... LOL
will paim.pk naked shorted shares transfer over to paimp at 1000x due to the dividend?
Paimp.pk IS a SESS POOL!!! TODAYS PR SAYS SO

SEC Approved Regulation SHO Governing Short Sales - The Protective "Grandfather" Clause To Combat Short-Selling Abuses - SEC Votes To End Short-Selling "Grandfather" Protections
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission voted yesterday, June 13, 2007, to {b}amend certain Rules under Regulation SHO - rules that govern the reporting, monitoring, and closing requirements for Failed-to-Delivers or short sales. Most notably, the SEC voted unanimously to remove the "grandfather clause" which has allowed unscrupulous parties to engage in manipulative stock trading practices, particularly naked short selling. The grandfather clause excluded from reporting and monitoring requirements short positions on stocks prior to the time these stocks were included in a threshold list of stocks with substantial short positions.

Short selling involves sales of borrowed securities, producing profits when prices decline. The practice is legal and is viewed by many to play an important role in market efficiency, but the SEC's Regulation SHO sought to curb abuses of the same, particularly so-called "naked" short sales, in which short sellers don't borrow securities they sell, a practice some view as akin to counterfeiting or selling "phantom" shares.
Regulation SHO, which took effect in 2005, imposed stricter requirements on locating and delivering shares that are sold short but excluded some previous short positions through a "grandfather" clause.
The Securities and Exchange Commission voted Wednesday to approve a change to tighten rules intended to curb manipulative short sales, most importantly, "naked" short sales.
The change eliminated an exception that protected existing short positions from requirements to deliver hard-to-borrow shares within 13 days of settlement. Once the change takes effect, short positions previously protected by the grandfather clause must be closed out within 35 days.
SEC Chairman Christopher Cox said persistent failures to deliver shares sold short seem to be due to the grandfather protections, which the SEC included in 2004 to prevent stock-market volatility. Critics complained the protections undermined efforts to clean up abuses involving "naked" short sales.
Short selling involves sales of borrowed securities, producing profits when prices decline. The practice is legal, but the SEC's Regulation SHO sought to prevent "naked" short sales, in which short sellers don't borrow securities they sell.
SEC officials said delivery failures have declined about 35% overall since Regulation SHO took effect and have fallen about 53% for hard-to-borrow stocks defined as "threshold" securities.
Furthermore, PAIM believes that since 2005 it has been a victim of naked short selling and applauds this latest action taken by the SEC, but is concerned that the new rules will not be vigorously enforced. PAIM also believes that institutions that are responsible for reporting short positions are not following the rules, and therefore the monthly reports are inaccurate.
***************************************************************
IF paim believes that it has been a victim of naked short selling since 2005, that DOES include the pfd distribution.
Also, notice alot of people are converting their pfds into common shares, reducing the OS of the PFds.. If there is less OS to go around when the phantom shorts from the 1:1000 have to cover, the price will go up because of simple law of supply and demand. So if your one of those that converted, please keep converting :D
