POS is currently trading at $32+ on no volume. Hope you got in a while ago...
If he bought a Bentley when Cash Flow wasn't a problem, the company was growing and making money, and the assets were valued at $100M+, honestly what's it to you or me or any of us? I know that if I ever build a company up to that size I will not be driving the car I'm driving now and would probably move Ocean front. Might not happen for me this side of heaven, but I have never had a problem with a CEO or COO reaping the rewards of a job well done. Now if they bought the houses and cars from selling shares and not running a profitable business, that's another story and hopefully they will be held accountable (probably not though). I might even suspect that, but not being an internal auditor for Phoenix, I certainly can't know that for certain.
I just don't want to come off like some that sold and come back and rub noses in the current situation. Sorry if I do. As for the baby, well she can say "no" now. I am sure the word "why" is right around the corner, as is baby number 2 God willing.
Okay, got to go. Here's to this stock hitting $.015 again. If it does and some of you bought at the bottom, do yourself a favor and SELL SOME! ;)
Just be careful that you know for sure that "the way it is," is really the way that it is. Based on the track records of all parties involved, there are professional confidence men at work with this company. I just can't tell which ones are for sure yet. Even if I thought I knew I would be reluctant to say.
I sure hope for the sake of those that sent in 40M shares of common in exchange for preferred that they find out the truth sooner than that.
Also, FYI to the board. Some might think I am posting out of bitterness. Actually, I have been quite releaved since I sold. So really no bitterness. It's just hard to not post on a board that you have posted so much on over the past 18 months. Plus, I'm home today and it's raining and the baby's sleeping so kind of bored...
Absolutely. Even what I say should be taken with suspicion. No one here knows the real truth except for PA, CA, and RB. And I'm not talking about the "truth" they tell others about. I'm talking about the real truth of the entire situation. I just pray that those who invested time and money in PBLS will someday know the truth.
Nope. Didn't get it wrong. And it's not a rumor I heard from someone else. Hayden told me himself as if it were fact.
Dad always used to say that "it's always easier to remember the truth." Folks with a strong propensity to lie can typically never remember their own BS. Part of the reason I won't waste my time calling JH.
I will say one thing Chilar. You are playing a dangerous game by choosing a side here to believe. Hope you are not being used. Not saying I don't trust you. Just saying that I don't trust any of the principals involved in this saga.
Ren
Is that the same John Hayden who started the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolee rumors who used his "Hollywood Contacts" to Product Place a Best Jets Lear in a upcoming summer blockbuster?
Sorry. I'm just so frustrated. And Shelby, good for you for staying positive, but don't we have to take everything Ron says now with suspicion? I mean he's told multiple shareholders that I know well that their dividend was coming this week or next. That was in Sept.
Thanks Kairos and Coy. Have a little cash sitting in the account to pick up something, but if HMGP drops more, might need to move some money around...
I know that everyone's attention seems to be on HMGP this morning, but Coy do you have any thoughts on SPZI? Seems like the chart is breaking down. I expected a sharp pull down on it after the extended sideways trading pattern, but now it looks like it might roll down the hill back to where it started...
I thought that the cash flow issue was created by expenditures related to setting up for KOMEX (ala MR and VP)? Wasn't joking. Just trying to make sense of it.
Loan was interest only, collateralized by engine inventory not "PBLS co." It's not hot dogging. It's the way business is done if you know you can make the monthly interest payments.
Not plain stupid if you can test enough engines to more than offset the $80k a month you have to pay out in interest on the note. Of course we don't know, just have to trust that it is. "Cash flow problems" don't help that trust.
I'd like to buy an "A" Pat.
...Wait, where's Vanna?
Probably ran off with Cowboy...
I tried to give my 2-year-old daughter a "swiffer" duster the other day. She just hit me in the head with it and laughed at herself. Must have learned that from her mother...
Can't speak to that one. Don't know anything about it. I've probably already said to much as it is. I just want to see this turn around for everyone here. But I stand by what I said earlier...only way that is going to happen is if they take their medicine in the short-term, come clean with the dirt, and start running a truly transparent business. Do they have to under Nevada Revised Statutes? Of course not. Do they need to in order to maximize the pps for the sake of all the stakeholders in PBLS? Absolutely.

Did you see the buying move in hard on UTYW around 11am? Must have had a large order going through since yesterday afternoon. I still think something is up with this stock in the short term.
I think there were profits. I just don't know how said profits were used.
I do know that John Hayden was busy this summer raising $4M for "Purpose: Operating capital, launch of new engine test cell, absorption of recent acquisitions, etc." It was a promissory note that had a 24 month term that paid interest monthly at an APR of 24%. Said note was collateralized by "Jet engine parts inventory with a retail value of $8M." I thought that the $7.2M "Other Income" line item from the 2006 unaudited financials was from the one time sale of jet engine parts (per Ron). I hope that it was just a coincidence that the jet engine parts seemed to be worth close to the same amount.
Either way, they've been borrowing money in other ways than just supposedly selling shares. My question since this summer has been, why do they need to borrow if they are profitable? I guess the KOMEX contract is to blame?
Ren
PS this is not based on opinion or mere conversation. I was approached to participate in the $4M promissory note.
Really like the simplified iBox Pnew. I think Shiz wanted to go that direction but didn't have time to take care of it.
Perhaps, but part of the Progas problem is failure to repay interest due on promissory notes (LT liability). They gave out promissory notes to build the test cell (ST liability). They used a promissory note as part of the condo financing (LT liability). There are plenty of LT and ST liabilities but most of this stuff isn't recorded so it's hard to know what they paid for what and what they owe for what. Either way, it's better for the company for them to use debt financing than equity financing. Much cheaper to service debt financing and much better for your pps.
Based on the story they have told us, they have spent quite a bit to come to this point. The trick now will be turning a real profit from those expenditures. I hope they pull it off for the sake of the employees and the shareholders (especially those that took the Preferred exchange).
If my house is worth $400k but my mortgage is for $395k, am I worth $400k? If my business does $5-10M a month in loans, grosses about $75k in fees but has $70k a month worth of expenses, is my business worth the $5-10M annualized or the $5k annualized?
Doesn't matter what assets they hold title to Shiz. Fair Valuation on the company can only be done on a "net worth" basis. They might own $100M worth of assets, but what if they have $100M worth of debt/liens against those assets. Case in point is the test cell. Might be worth $4M, but they borrowed $4M to build it...
Lots of potential here, but to reach that potential now, PBLS is going to have to operate above the level of a mere pinksheet. They certainly don't have to, but its the only way that they will be able to get a fair valuation after so many empty promises. I hope they do for your sake. The question is, will they?
Ren
Either way, nice volume today so far...
FWIW I bought some ARGY maybe a week ago at .05. Like Real Estate I am beginning to separate my stock plays into quick flips and patient money plays. As the ARGY chart looks to have finally bottomed out in late Sept and with the potential run over the next 30 days from ARGYs time spent on the RegSHO list, I put a small "patient money" position in it (like $1k). I personally think that right now it's in a short term consolidation and might move up higher by eow, but I'm definitely no TA expert.
Ren
Shhh....they don't know I'm lurking because I'm still an addict to the story...
Honestly, it's hard for me not to root for the Wildcats this year too, though I am a die hard Gator. One of the kids from my youth group is Johnny Williams, #51 for Kentucky. I'm extremely proud of him. He's a great kid who had a difficult childhood. He could have chosen to be just another thug. Instead he took care of business and is about to graduate with a free college education.

Jake has poor eyesite. It helps him see the post.
ONE NICE THING ABOUT BEING THE UNDERDOG IS THAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO TAKE THE BIG RISKS. AFTER ALL, EVERYONE ALREADY EXPECTS YOU TO FAIL SO WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE?
I JUST HOPE THAT URBAN MEYER WATCHED LAST NIGHTS GAME AND TOOK NOTES ON HOW A SUSPECT DEFENSE CAN LIMIT THE PRODUCTION OF A QUALITY QB. THE GATORS ARE GOING TO HAVE TO PLAY GUTSY DEFENSE TO BEAT WOODSON ON HIS HOME FIELD. NO SOFT COVER 2. THEY NEED TO THROW MULTIPLE BLITZ PACKAGES AT HIM ALL NIGHT.
YOU THINK TENN IS GOING TO PULL OUT THE WIN AT ALABAMA? YOU'RE A BRAVER MAN THAN ME. BEING A GATOR WHO NEEDS A TN LOSS IF WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A SHOT AT AN SEC EAST CHAMP, I'VE GOT TO PULL FOR SABAN AND ALABAMA (NEVER THOUGHT I'D ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO DO THAT).
CONGRATS ON THE RUTGERS WIN LAST NIGHT BUDDY. LAST 5 MINUTES OF THAT GAME WAS GIVING ME ULCERS...
Strange PBLS news just out. PR from assistant to CEO?
Now that's a chart I'd say just fell off the cliff. Looks similar to May 2007 though. Might see it bounce back to .30ish if they can resurrect some hope (I have no idea what the story is with the stock, just looking at the chart). Just an opinion.
Wow. Never once called SPZI a scam. Said this rumor was a "red flag" and that's just to me (and probably a few others). Whether SPZI is a scam or not remains to be seen. I find much fewer red flags with it than several other pennies I own but that still won't change how I trade it.
Now please let me be at peace here on this "Friendly" board. You have plenty of friends on other boards to chum around with that I am certain will not post such threatening posts about SPZI as I to have posted.
Sigh. eom and good day to you.
Regardless, I hope it bounces for the few quality folks over there.
BTW what is L2 showing for HMGP? I only see the last trade at .17 but the bid/ask at .155/.165 on Scottrade...
Question is, once the fool always the fool or can a fool learn from past mistakes to become wise? Guess time will tell.
What do you do if you are a moderate libertarian, charismatic Christian, left brained analytic that delves in penny stocks as a gamble?
Seems like real estate investor is a good fit? That or Carny maybe...The problem is I just can't get all the voices in my head to ever agree.
Thanks.
Can't believe the line on the LSU/Auburn game is -10 for LSU. Auburn plays LSU tougher than they play the Gators...
No, didn't spot the normal tooth fairies, they were all off promoting politics or other stocks yesterday.
I did meet a few folks who seemed to attack you even if you dared to had a doubt-filled thought float through your head even before you posted said doubt-filled thought. They don't seem to like anything negative or even a question for some reason.
Is that common on these stock specific boards? Help a brother out, as I can't think for myself... ;)
When does the opening line come out? Monday?
I stand completely by it. SPZI has a management team that has a great resume that is verfiable online through multiple sources. That's a big difference to most pinks. I think you must have missed this post http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=23811629
I think what you having trouble understanding is that I don't buy everything a company says in a PR or a poster posts on a message board. Based on pass reductions in the value of my trading account I've learned to be unemotional in my decision making and somewhat skeptical about "the story" and so now I actually make some profits on trades.
Anyway, we're clogging up this board and need to keep things Friendly. Feel free to PM during happy hour later. I try not to post much on the SPZI board as I don't want to be infected with market psychosis (I'm prone to doing that you see and it's an expensive illness in penny land).
