I purchased a 2006 dodge 2500 mega cab 4x4 with the 5.9. mid 2007 dodoge (and all other manufactures) went to this new low emissions motor. the new dodge's went to the 6.7. stay far away. they also need to burn the very low sulfer diesel fuel. the 5.9 in the pre 2007 can burn just about anything. I don't understand the government thinking. change the emissions requirements for what? now the same vehicle get 3MPG less. and cant burn bio-diesel without modifications. so where is the benifit?
Hey truth I'm still here. been on travel with work quite a bit in the past month. I was just wondering., I just purchased a diesel truck, do I get a tax credit for bio diesel if they pass the bill? had to move up. that gasser I had was killing me in fuel costs.
is this thing on? is XPGH still alive?
if you are referring to H.R. 6, the 2005 energy bill that contained $14.3 billion in subsidies for energy companies. However, a vast majority of those subsidies (all but $2.8 billion) were for nuclear power, energy-efficient cars and buildings, and renewable fuels research. In addition, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service, the tax changes in the 2005 energy bill produced a net tax increase for the oil and gas companies, as reported time and time and time again. They did get some breaks, but they had more taken away.
I am no fan of big oil but facts are facts
From the REG inc. website,
For more than 10 years, REG's biodiesel has been the biodiesel trusted most by fleet managers, transportation managers and diesel vehicle operators across the U.S. So, what makes REG's biodiesel different…?
Biodiesel beyond ASTM is one reason REG leads the biodiesel industry. Biodiesel from the REG network is produced to more strict quality standards than other fuel on the market. Check out the REG-9000 biodiesel product line-up to learn more.
Renewable Energy Group®, Inc., is thefirst biodiesel producer and marketer in the United States to announce product specifications for B100 that exceed ASTM D 6751 biodiesel specifications, regardless of feedstock.
The company’s biodiesel specifications which exceed ASTM specifications include 1) reduced free and total glycerin levels 2) a reduced acid number and 3) reduced free water and sediment.
Renewable Energy Group, Inc. performs internal tests for specifications not currently required by ASTM including: tests for monoglycerides, diglycerides and triglycerides, tests for total biodiesel moisture and a cold soak filtration test which indicates how well REG biodiesel will perform in cold weather. As part of the quality specification, Renewable Energy Group, Inc. also introduced a new line-up of three REG-9000TM biodiesel products; REG-9000-1, REG-9000-5, and REG-9000-10.
•REG-9000/1 has a cloud point ranging from -2-2 degrees C and a cetane level from 47-50.
•REG-9000/5 has a cloud point ranging from 4-6 degrees C and a cetane level from 50-53.
•REG-9000/10 has a cloud point ranging from 8-12 degrees C and a cetane level from 53-59.
All three products offer improved oxidation stability and enhanced purity compared to other B100 biodiesel in today’s marketplace.
HONOLULU — The state Public Utilities Commission has given Hawaiian Electric Co. the green light to purchase renewable biodiesel from a subsidiary of Renewable Energy Group of Iowa.
HECO announced in January that it had signed a two-year contract to have the company supply 3 million to 7 million gallons of renewable biodiesel per year.
The fuel processed from used cooking oil, known as yellow grease, and waste animal fat will be used at Hawaiian Electric's new 110-megawatt combustion turbine generator unit at Campbell Industrial Park on Oahu.
In another ruling, the PUC approved a contract for HECO to buy 1 million gallons of palm oil-derived biodiesel from Sime Darby of Malaysia. The fuel will be used by HECO subsidiary Maui Electric Co. for its biodiesel demonstration project at the Maalaea Power Plant.
"We are moving forward in our quest for locally grown and processed biofuels for our units," HECO Executive Vice President Robbie Alm said Tuesday.
"We must pursue every renewable resource available — sun, wind, our land and oceans — and take advantage of our unique ability to substitute 'green' fuels in place of 'black' oil-based fuels in our new and existing units," Alm said.
The PUC approvals allow Hawaiian Electric and Maui Electric to recover the cost of the fuels, transportation, storage and related costs in the energy cost adjustment surcharge, HECO said.
The utilities make no profit on such fuel costs, it said.

I know this was discused before but I don't feel like looking. besides the audits, what else will be required in moving this thing off of the pinks?

Climategate: the final nail in the coffin of 'Anthropogenic Global Warming'?

If you own any shares in alternative energy companies I should start dumping them NOW. The conspiracy behind the Anthropogenic Global Warming myth (aka AGW; aka ManBearPig) has been suddenly, brutally and quite deliciously exposed after a hacker broke into the computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (aka Hadley CRU) and released 61 megabites of confidential files onto the internet. (Hat tip: Watts Up With That)
When you read some of those files – including 1079 emails and 72 documents – you realise just why the boffins at Hadley CRU might have preferred to keep them confidential. As Andrew Bolt puts it, this scandal could well be “the greatest in modern science”. These alleged emails – supposedly exchanged by some of the most prominent scientists pushing AGW theory – suggest:
Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims and much more.

now THAT's funny!
Im with ya. i would be adding now but with things the way they are and Christmas around the corner.......I will have to just hold what I got for now. but, I think things are looking good even if we at still at .25 not going to retire with this one this year
To Infinity and Beyond!
strange, I have TD and they unrestricted all my stock without me even asking. no consistency. go figure.
hello, Hello, is this thing on?
thats all im looking for.
what I am saying is...if its true, then great!. but I always read between the lines on these PR. look at this one..nothing says "has done, did accomplish, completed," everything says "planning to do, hopes to do, in the future,"
BLA, BLA, BLA. I will belive it when it happens. Period!
BLA BLA BLA
but thanks for the post.
Im still lurking and holding. just took a small break. glad to see this back to .3 looking good.
cents,
you would think so. I don't know what to think anymore. for a little while there I thought that we had a good thing going but now I'm just wondering if I should have sold at .40. Since I didn't, I will give my support to Cheap and keep lurking. Everyone enjoy the rest of their summer.
agree.
Unions destroyed the Auto industry in this country. all they do is take and take. how long did you think GM could stay alive paying employees who no longer work there? paying someone $30.00 p/H to put in a headlight? full benifits and pay to retirees> how long do you think that really could have worked out? CEO's get paid what they are worth. Period. it is supply and demand. you can't do thier job. maybe that's why you hate them so. I thought this was a free country. if it is, then a private company has every right to pay the CEO what they want. they also have every right to pay the employee what they want. and you have every right not to take the job. it not the CEO's fault that he get paid 250 what you do. it's you fault that you never worked hard enough to aquire his skills. my thought is that you want to live in a fascist country. good luck to you with that. be sure to give all they profits you make on this company back to the employees or maybe to all the people who lost out in XLPI. Reagan is the best thing that ever happened to this country.
JMHO
whats killing this country is our out of control corprate tax rate (third highest in the world) and the fact that americans want to purchase everything cheap and no longer care about quality. Who cares if it's not made in the USA....it's cheap. thus China. and lastly unions!
JMHO
Yeah! you go cheap. man you can type/
so, what does everyone think the reports will say in ten days? what will the report have to state in order for this one to stay at .31? if its good news, will this thing take off or just stay where it is? is this a due or die report?
Very good post truth! I agree 100%. I never expected to get rich with XLPI but I always ran slick 50 when it was around so I took a chance. that being said, I never put money in that I could not lose. but, I had high hopes. I like xpgh but being around theses stocks for soooooo many years I have become very pesimistic. all it would take if for XPGH to hit .65 and I would break even and call it a good time.
have a great weekend.
Joe
Easy? Easy? too Easy. how much money and time does one person have to give to a company before it is not "easy" I have more time and money in this thing and never conccidered it easy. LMAO.
this whole company and PPS is a joke but easy is not the word I would use.
I think we need to get these products to the new Discovery Channel show (Pitch Men). Billy Maze can sell the hell out of them.
I don't know. this all seems a bit confusing to me but the PR stated "XcelPlus Global Holdings also expects to announce revenues in its next quarterly report at the end of June"
so I don't think this stock will move much until after that anouncemt in June.
what do you think
no, I believe you to be correct.
Great info guys. I'm not going anywhere. I have been here too long to quit now. the only place for me to go is UP!
Then I will have to trust your instinct since I have never talked to or interacted with Bill. If you are right, then it's just a matter of time. what is you thoughts on why this stock is still at 7 cents? when should things start moving?
Cheap,
Lets say that your assumptions are correct. or even one is correct, than why is this thing still at 7 cents? either I really have no idea how these things work (which may be the case) or something is not right. I have been down this road too many time in the last 5 years with this company. I have faith in this company but my gut says something else. I just feel that something is not right. something will come out like, XPGH really is not supplying anything they just have an agreement to work the contracts......I hope I am wrong. I want to see a product sold and made by XPGH burning at Old Castle. at this point a contract I have not read means nothing to me (not any more, maybe 3 years ago)
Makecents that makes cents. (see what I did there).
should have known that. must be too early.
I work for the military and a lot of time they list the amount of fuel in pounds instead of gallons. Most of the time it is pounds when talking aircraft. don't know why. but a gallon of JP4, JP5 weigh about 7.2 Lbs per Gal. I would assume that Glycerin is about the same.
just my O2
looks like it. I just hope that some day it will trickle down. who knows. i'v owned both these stocks so long that I guess it really doesn't matter any more. I'v lost too much money to just ditch them. It's kind of like the brother you have that you hate. can't do much about it....he is still your brother.
