Thanks for this Clancy. I too want to buy into the company more, and am working on raising some funds to do just that. If I could have done it to get in on the dividend I certainly would!
Great minds think alike tjak, have just done the same!!
NHS news....
It might not be the full monty, but it's definately the start. News from the NHS on how they view this and the fact that they will be issuing their statement on Monday.
Inside track is that the agenda for today's meeting was wiped by the chair to discuss procedures for something completely different. My contact has said that everything is agreed for Monday and they just need the rubber stamp from the Chairman. I'm really relieved that this latest statement is from someone we know is involved in the process and is an NHS staffer, not a Medify one.
I believe.....
Thanks fella,
You too...
Lem
I'll happily do some more digging and see what can be unearthed.
I'll let you know as I go.
Just a thought for you all....
We're all talking about JB. But Ian has taken control recently. In that time we've seen a massive move forward with the NHS, the system go live, 7 trusts in the sales pipeline (one in actvie field use, the other has ordered.) And now we are speculating about a possible bid for the company by someone else in the supply chain. There has been a recruitment. We are sat waiting for an imminent announcement by the NHS to approve the product for NATIONAL use. They announced a dividend and are on track to deliver it.
In the past month Medify has started to act and move more like a proper company than ever. I know I'm seen as positive about the product etc, and haven't undergone the pain of some of you, but judging by the events of the past couple of weeks I think something could really be happening here. Fingers crossed we get the NHS PR tomorrow as this will really kick things into motion if there is a potential bid in the offing.
I hear that one....
Think $5/share is a little low.
Based on potential revenue on acquisition of an NHS contract (and remember that the product is nationally approved and pipe upgraded on NHS say-so, rather than being pushed out trust by trust as per the original Medify plan).
Surely potential annual revenue is significantly higher than $20M?
We'll have to wait and see, but I'd be disappointed with anything less than a double figure offer/share.
JMO
Non Disclosure does refer to NDA Clancy, you're right.
As for a buy out, it makes sense consdering the activity around the product in the UK. Getting national approval from NHS would make this very attractive to some of the bigger companies in the supply chain. It would make sense for one of the telecomms providers to acquire this rather than go through all the growing pains of developing their own system and then getting it approved. After all, it's taken two years for Medify to get the system approved through all the NHS red tape.
Additionally, the NHS would probably be more confident, and therefore more likely to issue a national contract to a bigger company.
Just my thoughts
Don't know who will issue it Lem, just know that it's all approved, and should come through their normal comms channels.
Direct from my BT contact in response to a question regarding the PR....
Formal approval received from the Strategic Health Authority by the PCT. Tomorrow's meeting is to rubber stamp at Director level and to approve the PR written.
Doctors have given the green light to proceed across the board ASAP.
This is directly from the project Director at Doncaster.
There is something else happening but he can't get any details. Anyone got any info?
GH
Hi T,
The only thing I've heard is that it may be Scottish linked. That's why I wondered if anyone had heard from Darryl about this. The obvious link is with Atos who are making big moves in that region.
Just my thoughts...
New on the website.....
Medify Solutions Investor update 29th November 2006
In order to keep the investor community informed of all developments at the earliest possible opportunity during these exciting and dramatic times, the management team would like to clarify a few points. The board can confirm that it has signed an NDA with a major corporate NHS outsourced supplier partner in preparation for commercial discussions; beginning next week. Due to the sensitive nature of these discussions, and in order not to jeopardize the outcome, the company will exercise restriction in communications to share holders concerning these negotiations.
As previously stated, the NHS will be approving the formal news releases for distribution on Thursday 30th November. The news will then be distributed directly from the NHS as soon as their internal processes have completed. As illustrated by yesterday’s announcement on new sales, this slight procedural delay in issuing the national NHS news is not hindering the company's immediate route to market.
The company will continue to update shareholders on a regular basis regarding the NHS communications and the commercial progression.
Herbie, Lem, I know Emis operate in Scotland. Have you got contact details for Darryl Cox, maybe he can find out if Medify are involved with this?
Cheers!
Hey T
Well.....
The latest here is VERY interesting. But not confirmed. But very possible.
There has been an approach on behalf of a MASSIVE UK business. As in a "we might like to buy your company" approach.
Now, before my inbox fills up this has taken quite a lot of digging, and I'm not revealing sources. And I mean shedloads of finding the right people to talk to. I hate to think what my mobile bill will be this month.
So you can choose to believe it or not. I certainly wouldn't want anyone buying a ton of shares cos I've typed this. Trading is your business and should be kept that way.
So, if this is true I'd expect to see some significant movement on the pps end of this week, beginning of next week. The latest position on the NHS is that the final signoff meeting is set for Thursday and my BT source says Ian is tearing his hair out (what's left of it) and pushing to have this news to the market on Thursday afternoon (UK). This confirmation is thought to be the final step needed for the interested party to start takeover talks. (Again, not substantiated yet).
If they are interested then obviously people on the inside will start to move and we SHOULD see a pps rise. Coupled with this is the dividend which should also spark pps rise, particularly if people know this corporation, and it's representatives are on the move.
In terms of new business EMIS have plenty of enquiries. Doncaster and West Norfolk are well down the sales pipeline with product in use at Doncaster. Nottingham is well down the road, and four other PCTS are queued up ready to talk. Medify are really pushing to get the new Sales and Marketing bod on board and up to speed to sort out the PR and comms, but also to help the sales process along.
If the business sells then I would expect to see Voice to Voice come under a lot more attention too.
As I said, this is all the latest RUMOUR and your trading business is exactly that, and nothing to do with me.
Best Regards
GH
Same thing was sent through to my mate. Norflok is being put online as we speak and the final NHS meeting is supposedly scheduled for Thursday morning. He doesn't think there is any more processes to go through after that, but who knows??
Medify Solutions Limited (Pink Sheets - MDFY) – announces NHS second stage order and NHS rollout sign-off
Medify Solutions Limited (Pink Sheets - MDFY), is pleased to announce that West Norfolk has confirmed it’s order as the second NHS locality for installation of MedifyRemotetm today. This consolidates Medify Solution’s position of first to market with the NHS and EMIS offering secure mobile access to patient notes.
This announcement coincides with the confirmation by the NHS Strategic Health Authority (SHA) today in London that it approves the MedifyRemotetm solution for NHS use.
Formal announcements will be made directly from the NHS once the communication programme has been officially signed off through its director and legal signoff processes.
Darryl Cox. Project Director EMIS, commented, “The news that MedifyRemotetm has been signed off at Strategic Health Authority level is significant and good news for all who are involved in the project. The fact that the programme is now accelerating is further illustrated by the confirmation of additional PCT sign-up and we are looking forward to the formal launch announcements from the NHS later this week”.

Hi
As far as I can tell (and having checked with my contact) this has nothing to do with the Medify system, and will have no impact on the success of the product.
Phew!!
Cheers
Quiet so far here tjak, but am sure the news is due to drop this week. It's probably surfing it's way through the mounds of NHS paperwork as we speak. It's gonna be a good week....
Thanks purple. I agree, Monday would be the best day for news...
Hi Tjak
NHS Executive is kinda like the board of the NHS. It's composed of all of the top people and if Medify are meeting with them it means the NHS view the project as significant. The news that another PCT has signed on today backs this up.
As per the Euro float, as far as we can ascertain, the delay is mainly due to stabilising (and increasing) the current PPS. Medify are looking at European business and as the UK business pushes forward and builds then this will become a priority. Therefore we just need the pps to rise and this will trigger a European float, with the associated bonuses for shareholders.
As for other government entities I think that once the NHS is sorted this will act as solid gold stamp of approval for the company and it's products. If they want the system, you can bet that others do too!!
Hope this helps!
GH
Latest we've been able to find out....
Medify were with NHS Executive today to sort out final sign off on the communications programmes (so all PR's are now going forward). Unlikely to get news out before Monday though.
However, orders placed for the system by yet another PCT (Nottingham), so that brings up to 7 within 3 days of the system becoming live!!
Really think this is the launch of something mega. I know you've suffered (some more than others) but I feel it's going to be a Very Happy New Year....
Lem, still here, still keeping eyes and ears open. I know there was a progress meeting at Doncaster today, will let you know if we can get any info.
Everything else this side is all green, systems available, more PCT's interested, new guy starts in a week (must be Sales and Marketing bloke), looking very positive on all fronts. Just wondering whether or not to raid my Xmas piggybank to buy more to qualify on Thursday.....
Hang on solid, no one is telling anyone to buy anything. No one has ever made anyone buy anything.
I'm merely pointing out how I view the news this week. Apologies for still actually believeing in this and feeling that I may have a chance of making something out of my investment.
Hey Diver
Didn't really get much through today. Like most government organisations the levels of bureaucracy and the PR can only be hung up in the chain. My contact was told that the release was due today, and Medify were informed it would be going out on the wire today. He feels that the way it was discussed was they really believed the NHS would be shouting today, as everything is complete and the first surgery is using the product. I figure they must have been confident to issue the dividend news today.
Doubt that they will put out anything now this week, if it was me I'd wait until next week to get more impact. We shall have to wait and see. My mate is off tomorrow so I'll see if he can find out anything more on Friday.
I think it's a step forward. I understand it doesn't particularly reward long termers, but maybe that will come in the future. However it works, if you buy 100,000 shares now on the 1st of December you'll be due an extra £25,000. Which is $7000ish.
Which isn't too shabby.
Hi Lem
Dividend announcement is apparently due around market opening, and NHS should be out today too.
An update re:Dividend
It seems that we won't be getting a like for like, but for once this isn't the fault of Medify. Due to SEC regulations and constraints the maximum the company can do is a 25% dividend (ie 1 for 4). My mate dug a little deeper when talking to them earlier and this has come back as the advice from the US legals.
However, he was told that this should be viewed as an extra bonus and not a split. More is likely to come as the PPS lifts.
So it's not as great as we initially thought but it IS a dividend that supports the people who have supported the company and it's finally going the right way for us. At least O'Reilly is making sure things happen correctly!!
Hey Herbie
Thansk for the warning. But I just feel positive about this and refuse to be negative about something that has obviously taken some time to come good.
As for pumping? I'm not making people buy or sell. It's just opinions/information that I've been passed.
Have fun!
Y'know, not be ungrateful, but I might just move over to your brand.....
No worries solid.
I'm sorry I don't know if it's before or after split. My mate didn't really consider asking that, it wouldn't have occured to him. He was too busy trying to be polite to get off the phone and let me know!!!!
I guess we find out tomorrow....
GLTA
Is her name Monica?
Thought you might be pleased.......
I think I like Mr O'Reilly....
And tomorrow, I might just have a cigar too!
bvdog, you're gonna love this.
Are you ready?
Sit down before you read this one.
It's all gonna happen. I believe.
My contact, as part of his chats today was told that they are well aware everyone is hacked off about the divided. So they are going to sort it out. Tomorrow.
Details will be announced tomorrow and will actually delivered by the end of November. Rumour has it will be a 1 for 1 and that JB and his millions of shares have been excluded from this. All of this will be confirmed by Ian a couple of hours before the NHS news hits.
Dividend and NHS release tomorrow? Medify management listening to what we want?
I think I may even have a beer......
Some very big news....
Now, based on what's happening and why there's bugger all happening with share price, and we haven't had an NHS release I pushed my contact a little harder this afternoon. And he's been talking to JB and IOR.
And the whole dividend situation is what's really annoying people right?
So, ask yourselves, wanna know what he heard today (and I know you'll like this, and I know it'll all come true in 24 hours).....
Hey solid
Not a problem my friend. I heard about it from my contact at BT, who is co-ordinating the integration of Medify into the NHS. A few months ago we were talking about PDA's and he said that he was bringing in something cool to the NHS on it.
I had a look, did some research and made my first share venture (a true virgin!!). I'm happy and confident that this is definately the way to go and know how much of a big deal anything new into the NHS is over here. Because it's a civil service getting supply and approval into it is massively lengthy process, and for a company to have got this far I figured it had to have more than a 60& chance of making it. Now I know it's live I'm just waiting to see how high it can go.
The only problem is it gives you a taste for this kind of thing......
See the reply to Lem.
Just my thoughts...
Becuase somebody somewhere knows the NHS must be ready to back it...
Hi Lem
I understand what you mean. It's weird that the momentum isn't building. I think I can understand one reason though, and it's been rectified in the recruitment announcement.
Up until now everything is basically being handled by two people. They are doing the whole lot and haven't really committed any time to standing on the rooftops screaming about it. There's not been much press over here (although to be fair, I'm not a regular reader of medical press!!)
For me the most important news recently is the appointment of Ellwood, the marketing guy. If he's any good he'll be screaming to anyone that will listen that he has not only found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow but is also willing to share it.
The NHS announcements will be important too. To be in partnership with BT, Vodafone, Oracle, EMIS, Blackberry is big news, but to be endorsed by the national NHS is absolutely solid gold. They are under pressure to deliver fast effective information flow inline with the governments directives. MedifyRemote can do all this and more. I am sure they will be 200% behind the product and therefore massively boost our investment. This is why I', happy to stop crapping on the management for a couple of months.
I also don't think we help ourselves. Any potential investors reading the board will run a mile. I know people are p***ed, and understand that, but if we wanna get out of the hole we've ALL got to make the company attractive....
No worries lem.
Activity is really starting to hot up there. From the website they have recruited people, which means they must have revenues lined up to pay them.
EMIS are quoting that they have enough interest to keep Medify occupied for a long time. NHS release IS due in the morning (Mate was told demand on the system will start to climb rapidly over the next two months).
The first surgery is actually using the product.
NHS upspecced the pipe for information flow.
Top of the NHS IT arm (and I'm not mentioning names) were personally pushing hard for the big pipe and delivery of the system nationally rather than by trust.
Any one of these things is big news for a young company. Reading this lot together has got to be positive. I also have a lot of faith in O'Reilly. You can't survive at places like Caudwell or win Business Awards over here for being a numpty. I think the guy has really taken control of things and is going to push hard. No-one is excusing the appalling mistakes of the past, but maybe it's time to give the "new" management a couple of months breathing space? Or maybe that's just me.
Even the most jaded have got to admit a hell of a lot has happened in the last two weeks.....
