Are you saying that this drug can't be used for compassionate use purposes this year?
Is anybody going to watch this stock this week?
MD Anderson has an MRNA candidate for pancreatic cancer that they're very excited about. I was told this week that it is non toxic. The problem with most MRNA cancer medicines is toxicity according to them. Sunshine's MRNA candidate would be the second non toxic that they know of if Slilaty can prove his claims.
I think we have a great week ahead of us. This nonsense will be an unimportant memory soon.
I contacted the actual author of the article and he won't respond. You know when people like this know they have made an actionable error- everybody completely clams up. If this had been a reasonable mistake they would have apologized.
Shareholders need to call our IR firm and demand that Benzinga is fired and that all money paid to them so far is returned.
This disinformation campaign about the new offering was orchestrated. Benzinga people were in on it. Fucking criminals.
It is amazing, isn't it? These people are no different than thieves who might steal your car. These people are no better than the folks you see walking into department stores and walking out with handfuls of clothes. They are scum.
Today is an example of why I don't trade. The game is fixed. The price today though won't make any difference to my future. People can lie and steal to make money in the stock market but a cure for cancer won't be stopped. Today won't affect the price in 3 months or 6 months. Just hold and let these degenerate scumbags make their money. They won't matter to what is bound to happen for this company.
There are quite a few people lying about an offering all at one time this morning. Lol, I guess that is one way to cover a short position.
Patent news next week will be big because the world will see Slilaty's genius.
Listen up- there will be no buyout. This company is not for sale until the offer is over 100 billion. That is where we are headed imo.
There can be no buy out. Slilaty controls the voting shares.
The truth about the cancer shot is that has little to no toxicity. That has already been tested. Once the patent is filed, THE SHOT IS READY FOR COMPASSIONATE USE.
You may see a life saved in 3 to 6 months. If that happens, we are headed to a Moderna like valuation.
Here is a little mental exercise for you all.
Could Sunshine's mRna shot be as big as Moderna's mRna shot? I don't know the answer, but let's say YES for the sake of this exercise.
Moderna has an outstanding share count of 400 million and they had a share price of almost $500 at one point.
Let's use those same market cap number and apply them to Sunshine. With 15 million outstanding shares (meaning that all warrants are exercised), that gives us a share price of $13,333 a share. With a 1 for 200 forward split that gives us our shares back with a price of $66 a share.
Could it happen? It might.
I invested in the first Aegis offering. They could not tell me who the other investors are. It has to come out on a form 13.
Do you know who the largest shareholder is here? Aegis Capital wouldn't tell me the name of them but they did tell me that it is a $5 billion dollar fund run by doctors. Do you think a fund of that size run by doctors would be the largest shareholder of a scam petri dish wonder company?
Nobody is buying this company out. The principles believe that this company is worth hundreds of billions of dollars and they are not going to sell their life's work for a pittance.
If this shot works and it defeats chemo resistant cancer, how do you put a price on that?
Did you cover your short position last night? Just so you know, I have seen several posts on Twitter where people are moving money from Gamestop and AMC to Sunshine. The reddit crown might come into play here. Good luck to you.
This won't just go to $100. Where is Joe to explain this, lol??
If we get to $100, that means the cancer shot works and we are going over $1000. There won't be any in between. Either the tech works or it doesn't.
Preclinical data on two newly designed mRNA molecules from Sunshine Biopharma Inc., of Montreal, showed they are effective at killing cancer cells grown in culture.
Tests were performed on a variety of cancer cells, including multidrug-resistant breast cancer cells, ovarian adenocarcinoma cells and pancreatic cancer cells, while toxicology studies using normal human cells showed that the mRNA molecules had little or no cytotoxic effects.
“I believe we’re one of the first companies to speak about using mRNA in treating cancer,” Steve Slilaty, CEO of Sunshine, told BioWorld.
The company began developing mRNA molecules about a year ago. Before COVID-19, Slilaty said, people didn’t know that you could use mRNA to express proteins directly in the human body.
“Now that we know you can administer mRNA to humans and get an effect as shown with mRNA COVID vaccines, we decided to apply it to cancer,” he said.
Sunshine’s next step, he added, will be to treat mice with the mRNA the company designed.
Adva-27a, a cancer DNA topoisomerase II alpha inhibitor, is the company’s flagship cancer compound. The company said it expects to enter a phase I trial for treating pancreatic cancer and multidrug-resistant breast cancer after completing GMP manufacturing and formulation of a 2-kg quantity for injection. It will be working with Jewish General Hospital, part of McGill University in Montreal, in the treatment’s development.
In July, Sunshine said it inhibited activity of Nrf2 using mRNA vaccine technology in a selected cell line. The company expects enhanced performance of cancer drugs and better overall therapeutic outcomes in cancer patients using mRNA injection before or after chemotherapy. It showed enhanced anticancer activity of etoposide (fourfold) using a small-molecule inhibitor of Nrf2 in multidrug-resistant breast cancer MCF-7/MDR cells.
Sunshine also is collaborating with the University of Arizona to determine in vivo safety, pharmacokinetics and the best dose of three university-owned PLpro inhibitors. Efficacy will then be determined in MA10 mice infected with SARS-CoV-2.
The company mapped mutations found in the delta COVID-19 variant and the other variants of concern it had identified, determining that the majority of the mutations are in the spike protein and only a few fall within the genomic sequences that encode nsp3, a multidomain protein that includes the PLpro enzyme. No mutations were mapped within the domain comprising the PLpro catalytic core.
In March, Sunshine closed a securities purchase agreement with certain institutional and accredited investors. The company issued about 2.301 million shares of its common stock together with investor warrants to purchase up to about 2.301 million shares of common stock, and about 1.302 million prefunded warrants with each warrant exercisable for one share of common stock, together with investor warrants to purchase up to about 1.302 million shares of common stock. Each share of common stock and accompanying investor warrant were sold together at a combined offering price of $2.22, and each prefunded warrant and accompanying investor warrant were sold together at a combined offering price of $2.219. Gross proceeds were approximately $8 million.
The company received $900,000 from RB Capital Partners Inc. last July in the form of convertible debt, with a conversion price set to a premium to market of 30 cents per share.
The Montreal-based company’s stock (NADAQ:SBFM) more than doubled on April 5, with shares closing 148% higher at about $5.61 each. Sunshine began trading on Nasdaq on Feb. 15, with shares closing at $2.39 each.
Founded in 2002, but refocused in 2009 on drug development, the move to Nasdaq was a defining moment. “That’s the major change to the company,” Slilaty said.
No, it happened last Oct. 6 and the stock price on the otc was slaughtered. Getting to the Nasdaq has saved this company and given them the cash to move forward. It may be one of the defining moments in the overall fight for cancer. Slilaty is a freaking genius and he deserved a bigger stage.
lol, I guess you weren't around for the first mRna PR when we were on the otc. It was so bad that I believe Slilaty was pushed to the Naz. In fact, Slilaty just said in an interview yesterday that getting to the Naz was a "defining moment" for the company. Read more about this company's history please.
I honestly don't think the price means a thing right now. When the shot is being used for compassionate use our share price will be measured in hundreds. This price is the equivalent of 3 or 4 cents presplit. This is literally nothing compared to what will be.
Nope.. investment funds won't put money in most otc stocks. It is because SBFM is on the Naz that we are now getting this love.
"IMO the company will soon release a company evaluation done similar to the one done in 2017."
I agree 100%. I feel very certain this will happen. ;)
a float of 6 million and a potential cure for chemo resistant cancer???? SBFM is making me laugh right now. This is going to be a very fun ride. It may not be today. It may not even be this month. It is coming though, and it will be historic.
where do you think we close today? I admittedly am not a very good trader. I have only made money by buying and holding for long periods. I am interested in opinions and reasons why.
I think you are 100% correct. It is coming...it won't be much longer. The patent news will be big. Notice of compassionate use bigger. If Slilaty announces that somebody who was bound to die with pancreatic cancer has been cured then there will be many, many millionaires made here.
I think Health Canada and the FDA will bend over backwards for this shot and we will see compassionate usage in the next 3 to 6 months.
I believe Dr. Slilaty has the goods. The market does not believe yet. Most of the volume yesterday was computers trading back and forth between each other and market makers manipulating a small float to make money imo. I believe that Sunshine will prove to the world that they will be a great company in 3 to 6 months. Until then it will just be trading games.
You left off a zero imo.
I wouldn't be surprised if we closed at $5 today. It doesn't matter. The price still doesn't matter because the technology hasn't fully been released by the company. I am more bullish with this latest PR than I have ever been on the company. I am still holding through 2022 and I feel great about Dr. Slilaty.
BioWorld.com interviewed Dr. Slilaty and Camille today. Register on their site for free and you can read the article. Check it out- https://www.bioworld.com/articles/517639-sunshine-biopharma-continues-its-move-into-mrna-cancer-treatment
Joe, I just checked, and the OS did not change today.
Yeah and I have been here for almost 2 years too. Not on this board, but I have been a shareholder. So once again, with all due respect, the idea that this company would sell for a billion dollars is just plain stupid. You don't understand what we have here. I beg of you, resign yourself to the idea that you need to hold your shares one more year and you may become stinking filthy f****** rich.
With all due respect, I don't think you understand what we have here. This company will not be bought out. This company will be buying other companies out to add marketing and production. If this new MRNA shot against cancer works then you are talking over 100 billion in market cap easily.
How do you determine the market cap for a company that has a shot to prevent chemo resistant cancer? If this shot works, and we will know in 3 months, this stock will appreciate like nothing we will ever see in our lives again. This is bigger in terms of potential than I actually realized. Anything that you think you lost in the reverse split you gained back today and added additional value. Good luck to all of us.
They said they aren't diluting. I think the computers that trade the stocks almost go into an AI frenzy trying to make one to $0.05 profits per share. That doesn't sound like much money a trade but it sure adds up.
