Do you think that RVBD will pause when it gets to it's all time low of $13.60? TIA
What's up with RVBD? Just keeps dropping on no news.
What makes you think, or can prove with facts that MRVL mgmt doesn't care about making money whether it is theirs or yours? You are now exposed as the asshole you really are.
Point is stagflation has NOT cycled with the dollar and therefore is not correlated to the "relative" value.
Re-read my earlier post. You evidently don't get it. Dollar has cycled forever.....has stagflation? NO! There goes your myth, out the window. You don't know what stagflation is.
I have been seeing the comparisons of the markets with ugly starts from previous years. They have been up an average of 10% by the end of the year. Could it be? The last 2 quarters will tell.
You don't get it. Oil is denominated in dollars so the exchange rate doesn't matter. There was a time around then where the dollar was just about 1:1 though. Just food for thought.
It's doesn't matter. EURO didn't exist then and oil is denominated in dollars anyway.
Partial answer. Oil reached $36/barrel in the 70's. That is never mentioned because inflation adjusted oil in the early 80's was higher. Oil then dropped because the wage/price controlls of the 70's were recinded by Reagan which resulted in putting supply and demand back in equilibrium. To me, the wage/price controlls in the 70's were the underlying reason for stagflation then. That is not the case today, hence no stagflation.
I don't know, but its days like today that make me believe that January will be a slam dunk. This is like the nervous nellies looking for a reason to sell so lap it up. JMHO
I hear you. The problem is that she always claimed that M(the leader) was after her. I don't see homicide bombers as part of his arsenal. She was more of a threat to the Islamic extremists, which is one things that they had in common.
How do you know that he was in Afghanistan (even then)?
Yeah, well I don't want to dwell on BC's screw-ups. It's NOT a BUSH thing. Another board for this stuff.
If you are/recommend buying here, then I misunderstood you and apologize.
You don't seem to understand. The anti Bin Laden camp is now galvanized. That's a GOOD thing.
I highly disagree. Forget the TA and Elliot wave and whatever like you say but...it is screaming at you to buy.
Yes, I do believe S2 in that the first trading day of next year you will regret if you don't buy now.
Bhutto death.....what the hell does that have to do with MRVL (or the market in general)?
Consumer confidence was up last month.
I'll assume that it is wrong. Thanks for the reply
S2, does this scenario pretty much jive with what you are thinking?

I own RVBD (along with BCSI). Great sector to be in right now as they are the "forgotten ones" and are ready to run. JMHO
No doubt in my mind that most of Lakers's DD may finally be seen on MRVL's bottom line next Q (without a doubt on the transition to Taiwan).
You failed to answer the question a second time. Maybe you should grow up because you are NOT a good predictor of who I am.
You failed to answer the question.
You are now exposed. Live with it.
"Here you go again "Adolph"
When was the first time? It is now put up or shut up time.
If nothing, back to the Yahoo BB with you.
I agree! Maybe he should go back to the Yahoo BB where his garbage is appreciated. He and a few others here is why I don't pay attention here much anymore. Lakers.....great DD. What we all do with it is our concern. You know what they say about opinions.
BIDU was red AH and PM after their last earnings release. Went up big the next day so don't over-react.
S2, you don't seem to be too crazy about McClellan right now but do you feel that his call about the 40 week cycle was accurate (early but accurate)? TIA
S2, at least hand this board over to someone who cares. Any takers?
Thank you for your elaborate reasoning.
Should I call you jb or what?
I hear you, but even employing a pilot and co-pilot is at least $200,000 per year. The rest is flying time at some major cost per hour. There should be some travel by employees, if not so be it. The point is, $1,000,000 is nothing for a up and coming company.
I'm sure that travel back and forth to the far east (setting up Taiwan Semi)is not cheap.
It is minor in the way of expenses.
Anyone here going to the shareholder meeting on the 19th? I'll assume that alot of PR and such should come out of it.
Lakers, you post like it's a done deal. Is it?
Bingo. We have a winner
I'm still long and strong and with you Lakers. I agree with S2 about the Xscale overhang, but hopefully the job cuts will make up for it.
That's one of my main worries. There is still a Wells notice out for Sehat and wife. An indictment could happen at any moment and put the stock into another tailspin. Other than that, I would be looking to load the boat.
I forgot. What is CSO? Chief spin officer?
Just kidding
Interesting. Again more Apple labeled chips. Wonder if they will section them (or do you already know who made them Lakers)?
Pretty funny S2. The next time I get MRVL officer/board info to vote on I'll write you in.
It's sad that the microprocessor is still referred to as being made by Intel. They aren't the only ones writing that. Just venting
What are you hearing about other components besides the Xscale in iPhone2? What others did Marvell get? TIA
S2, your buddy Gary Kaltbaum is calling for a DOW retest of 12600 in September. Do you see that happening also? TIA
