I’m not sure 10x is a reasonable valuation but I do know (as you also note) how hard it is to arrive at an appropriate valuation with such little information coming from the company. Telling us earnings will be out “by the end of the month” is a bit like me telling my kids “we’ll get there when we get there”. Both true statements but not the most helpful...
Strong volume for a Friday. Looking for a strong finish to the day. Have a great weekend everyone.
There are a variety of ways to value this company. I’m in the camp that says it is undervalued at these levels. However my estimation anticipates upbeat news on new contracts, partnerships, and initiatives. Without positive guidance you may be correct and find it fair valued here. Hard to say regarding the news for this quarter since we don’t hear much from the company in-between results. But I’ve owned this stock for years, and based on the meager bits of news we have seen, I expect to hear upbeat info on future operations. In the immortal words of Dick Richie in True Romance, “hope hope”.
Can’t wait!
Has there been an announcement on the date earnings will be released?
Guesses on when we see earnings? What’s the over/under?
Eyes peeled for the USDA's monthly orange crop report, SRNA earnings, and anything that rascal Schumer does.
Wonder why they want the earnings release to be a surprise? I could probably use some more excitement in my life given the lack of travel, sports, concerts, and occasional black-out-drunk-call-me-an-Uber night at the local bar BUT it would be nice if they gave us a hint. Didn’t they file an extension last time? Reminds me of the investor relations discussion we had a while back - why not announce when they’re going to announce? Would give me something to look forward to at the least.
Apologies if this is a stupid question but has an earnings date been released?
Thanks for posting the Villanova article.
Unusual premarket activity.
I’ll try and figure that out. I’m (perhaps the only remaining person) not familiar with Reddit. Incidentally, I think the most recent exchange about srna’s valuation was great and wanted to echo the sentiment that the company really could be more investor friendly.
Amen!
HOLD THE LINE!!!
Surna is well on it’s way. Great article. Thanks for posting.
What he said! My sentiments exactly.
These guys can sound a little dour at times but generally I read this as good news. Sometimes I wish they would ac-cent-tchu-ate the positive a little more, however. That they were able to hire everyone back to full time status is great, for example, and as we all know, the industry as a whole is growing. It’s not like Surna operates in the VHS rental space after all. Onward and upward!
It would be nice if they announced when they’re going to announce.
Amen.
Ha! Actually laughed out loud.
What am I missing Mick? What’s the point of your post? Apologies to all if it’s something obvious and I’m being an idiot. Just seems like old news and I can’t figure its relevance.
When do we think earnings get released?
Ha! I know what you mean. I thought it was me.
Looks like the sub .019 selling stopped. I was wonder if it was simple day trading activity or maybe someone selling shares received through means other than conventional trading. Hope this period of a truly, incomprehensibly, low valuation is over. Still, if there is anyone out there willing to sell shares below .02 I’m happy to buy them all.
Absolutely unreal. That’s the reason I started looking at the trading history. Especially these days, when valuations are often multiple multiples on super optimistic future revenue projections, this company seems to have a negative or break even valuation.
Is someone keeping the stock down? Don’t mean to jump on the conspiracy theory bandwagon rather I’m wondering if there is some insight to be gleaned from this (potentially) unusual activity. Seems like every morning someone is selling shares at .017/8/9 cents. Why? Looking over the data, at least what I can see, it doesn’t seem like a large amount of shares were purchased at a price that would make sub .019 cent sales very profitable for the seller. Sure, if someone bought a million or two million shares at .015 and now they’re selling at .016, .017, .018, etc then they’d be making a couple bucks but, again from what I can see, no one bought a large amount of shares below .015 - .017.
