I'm long on this one thats for sure. It's just sad how some people get jollies out playing the "who made more money" or "who lost money" game. Then they or someone else loses money then we play the "who can we blame it on game." For sure if they make money it is based on their own merits and how smart and wise they are...!
I suppose you are one of those people that has never lost a penny in the market. I wasn't aware these message boards were used to post competition in dollars...I thought the purpose was to share information. Apparently because you don't believe in stem cell research you get a kick out shaming people that lost money. So are you saying anyone whose account is in the RED should sell and that there is no hope for this to recover?? Apparently that is the same attitude you have towards people that are suffering from a terrible disease that stem cell research could cure or help. It must be nice to not only make all the right decisions on which stock to invest in and not have any dreaded disease whose only hope is stem cell research.
Hi Serf I am so happy to meet you......
Kapone... Astra also validates your original post that Trilogy is an IR firm and a M&A....they have connections for M&A nationally and internationally according to her. Look at the Trilogy bio's they look good.
Good for you...that is nice.
Other people losing money would NOT make me feel better that is why I decided not to post after I sold. I am only posting because my name was connected to Harris in a false manner. I have never met the man, don't care to meet him and certainly do not have any side deals with him. He promised me my shares of FHAL/CSHD would be worth $15 a share between July 28th and August 1st....that did not happen so I sold and lost money. Yes...my decision.
Well I sold and for good reason. I'm not trying to influence you and I respect your position to stay if that is your choice.
Let me know when you are ready to work on that movie I'd be glad to help....maybe I could recover a few dollars I lost. Only I'm not a little old lady and refused to be portrayed as one.
That was taken before I lost my money...LOL.
If you have a $100,000 for me please send it. I'm sure that would make me feel better after losing $10,000 in CSHD.
txprincess is in Texas and not connected to anyone in the FHAL/CSHD group. I am not a member of their fan club. I lost money I didn't make money. Wish it would have been the other way around.
You only got a couple of facts correct.
1. Yes that is my picture.
2. Yes I live in Texas
3. Yes I am Republican...don't agree with Bush on Stem Cell
4. Yes I did take the funds I was able to salvage from CSHD and put in another stock....hoping to recover what I lost in CSHD.
5. My Dad passed away January 3, 2004 and he lived in California. He never was in the stock market as he was very conservative.
6. I too am compiling information and would like to see whoever is responsible for this mess exposed.
7. If legal action would recover my investment I would pursue it.
8. I did not sell because of other posters on this board I sold because I became suspicious that Harris and company were not on the up and up.
9. I respect the fact that other posters have a different view so after I sold I stopped posting.
10. I have never influenced anyone to buy or sell it is a personal decision.
11. The only person that influenced me to buy or sell was Rufus Harris.
12. If anyone has solid information regarding CSHD and would like to share it with me they can send me a PM.
13. I have no desire to get into any posting battles with people that have a differing opinion as I have no desire to influence you one way or another.
14. I only replied to this post because it is posting false information about me.
Serfdom if you have any other questions feel free to PM me but I can assure you I am not a member of the Rufus Harris fan club.
Check PM
Hi Cindy glad to see you here and your medical background will prove valuable. Please share any information you have on this subject. I'm long on this one as I know how very important research and science are first hand. Two bouts with cancer and three sisters fighting the same battle. I'm hoping my grandchildren/neices and nephews have more options than I did. I am Republican but disagree with Bush on stem cell funding. Any funding that assists our research teams should take priority. I am old enough to remember the battles over the fetus when the polio vaccine was discovered. It was the same debates as now. Science wins in the end. It's my guess our President and his children all had the vaccine and I am sure many others that religious faiths did not approve of the research also had the vaccine. Our doctors and nurses can only offer us treatment based on what the research teams do in the background. I don't think this is the ordinary penny stock or an ordinary company.
To my knowledge Trilogy was not involved with ACTC when the news broke about their discovery. I only learned of Trilogy after the pps had fallen. In todays world fortunately or unfortunately there are "middle men" and we can look at it in a positive manner or negative. On the positive side Trilogy has the structure to assist with partnerships which according to the CEO of ACTC on the CC call that was their next interest. Conducting IR in a professional manner can be a great help to a company. As far as protecting my investment at this point I would say Trilogy will benefit my investment. The fee that Trilogy charges might very well be another positive otherwise would a company go to the expense and trouble of hiring a company such as that. The employment of Trilogy could turn out to be a benefit for the company, shareholders and Trilogy...it's a possible three win position. In business many times I had to hire "the experts" to meet a goal.
You had a lot of comments so will try to give you some facts...
1. I don't work for Trilogy but they are now going to represent ACTC so I think good DD says find out something about the company and what they do. So far it looks like a good company to represent ACTC and ultimately what they do or don't do will effect my investment.
2. If you do a google search about stem cell/fetus and the history with other discoveries you will find the article on polio. If memory serves me correct it was first printed by the Des Moines paper. The article was NOT furnishd by Trilogy I found it myself.
3. I am a grandmother and it is my savings not my grandchildrens that I invested. An investment in a stem cell company such as this may accomplish two things...make a good financial return and could save my grandchildrens lifes someday.
4. IMO if someone is looking for a one or two day profit here they are probably in the wrong investment but for myself I see this as a long term and feel comfortable it will do well. Yes I am one of those late bloomers got in at 2.30 but have been able to average down so I do appreciate where they are coming from...that's where I started.
5. I don't encourage anyone to buy or sell that is a personal decision.
Dragon this is an interesting article....
Basu: Would Bush veto polio vaccine?
BY REKHA BASU
August 13, 2006
Remember polio?
It was forced back into my memory the other day as I got vaccinated for an upcoming trip abroad. Polio is one of the illnesses I'll need protection against.
Though it's been half a century since the United States faced an epidemic of that crippling virus, parts of the developing world are still susceptible: Worldwide, 815 cases of polio were recorded this month.
The difference, of course, is access to the revolutionary vaccine developed by Jonas Salk in 1955. In countries where vaccinations are routine, the illness has been eradicated.
It's unlikely that incredible breakthrough could take place in America today.
At the height of the epidemic in 1952, polio infected nearly 60,000 people. It stole the use of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's legs, and left actress Mia Farrow in an iron lung for a year. Then came the culmination of years of research, and by 1979, widespread use of the vaccine had eradicated polio in the United States.
Why bring up that old news now? Because what you may not know about the polio vaccine is that it was developed using human fetal tissue.
With his veto, President Bush recently banned federally funded medical research that uses not even fetal tissue but simply stem cells drawn from frozen embryos that will otherwise be discarded.
I wonder if Bush thinks the polio vaccine was a bad idea.
The vaccine is made from the actual virus, which had to be grown in large quantities. Medical researchers at the Rockefeller Institute discovered in 1936 that they could grow the virus quickly in embryonic brain tissue. By 1948, three other researchers, John Enders, Thomas Weller and Frederick Robbins, using embryonic skin and muscle tissue, were able to prove that the polio virus could infect tissue other than nerve cells.
That discovery doesn't appear to have generated picketing and presidential bans. Instead, it earned the trio the 1945 Nobel Prize.
There's an exhibit at the Smithsonian museum in Washington, D.C., called "Whatever Happened to Polio?" A friend of mine who visited it described pictures of long lines of people around the United States waiting for their vaccinations. There was even one from The Des Moines Register in the early 1950s, showing "a man in his farmer overalls standing on a ladder to peek in at his child in a Des Moines polio isolation ward."
That was the face of the tragedy to which tens of thousands of Americans were condemned, and some people in developing countries still are consigned because of a lack of access to the vaccine.
Hundreds of thousands of other people continue to have their lives disfigured or cut short because of spinal-cord injuries and neurological diseases. And the stem-cell surgery that continues to be their primary source of hope has been blocked by the U.S. government.
"I wondered if the polio vaccine could have developed in the current political climate," wrote my friend after visiting the exhibit.
I think we already know the answer to that.
Most of us have learned to regard the polio vaccine as one of the most pivotal discoveries of the 20th century. Imagine if the same kind of momentum and resolve were being used today to eradicate Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis and other incurable illnesses. I don't know what new medical breakthroughs might be chronicled in the museums 50 years from now. But I can't imagine history judging our current inaction too kindly.

When I talked to Trilogy I asked them if they were going to respond to the Philly article and I was told "yes" after the quiet period.
Regarding the different opinions on stem cell research it is interesting to find that the development of the polio vaccine was based on material used from the fetus. I'm old enough to remember the years of fear and the trauma of that disease. The public had the same reaction to use of the fetus as they have to stem cell research today and look what happened. Today polio is an obsolete disease. Science moves forward even with differing opinions.
Many articles printed today will have a political agenda behind them. Some are for stem cell and some are against. As JJ said in an earlier post this is the one stock that will have both a negative and positive slant to it depending on your personal views. Still science will move forward and bio companies are projected to have massive growth in the coming years. When the pps was flying sky high last week I am sure many that don't fully accept stem cell research had no problem investing and making a buck. IMO the same will happen when this stock starts climbing again.
The Trilogy firm seems to have vast experience in M&A....this is part of the bio on Mark Beychok the Vice Chairman of Trilogy. Looks like a fabulous team to me...
In his role as Vice Chairman and Director of Business Affairs, Mark is a key part of Trilogy’s business development efforts. He brings more than 20 years of business and sophisticated finance and securities experience to identify potential portfolio clients that are well-positioned for high growth. With both a technical and practical understanding of the equities and securities markets, Mark provides unique financial insight to assist Trilogy and its clients in their capital decision-making processes.
Mark is also founder and principal of MBA Holdings LLC, an investment banking concern that specializes in the structure of innovative financing for innovative scientists, engineers, inventors, entrepreneurs, academicians and the like who are seeking to leverage capital markets. Mark’s extensive background in strategic planning, financing, and mergers and acquisitions enables him to develop creative and effective financing solutions.
Yesterday there were differing opinions about Trilogy and there field of expertise...some thought they did not handle M&A. In reading the bio on the CEO I believe they certainly do handle M&A. Here is part of the bio on the CEO of Trilogy A.J. Cervantes....
Over the last twenty-five years of business, A.J. Cervantes has accumulated extensive experience in diversified businesses with a proven strength in corporate finance and communications which spans numerous industries and products. His experience includes strategic planning, corporate branding and positioning, mergers and acquisitions, business development, reverse mergers and reorganization of middle market companies. A.J. also has a comprehensive understanding of securities and corporate law.
IMO ACTC has hired a first class firm which is capable of directing a company into and through a great partnership for ACTC. The CEO did say in the CC their next interest was a partnership. He also said their long term plans included a higher exchange.
I copied the email just as they wrote it. Write them and get added to the investor email listing and you will get all their announcements or PR's.
Let's hope for the really positive stuff coming our way.
Kapone with the "warrants" is it standard procedure to have a "quiet time?"
rheddle I was thinking on the same lines you are but I hestitate to post that because I didn't want to be accused of spreading false information. We can hope can't we...unfortunately I am out of funds so can't average down any further but I would if I could.
I had sent her an email plus made the phone call...this was the answer I got from her regarding my email.
Thank you for emailing me. We’re working as hard as we can to get this financing closed quickly. Until the financing closes, ACTC cannot put out any news or information – none at all. Once we get the green light from the lawyers we can start putting out news and information. Since you are on my email list, I personally will notify you once that happens.
Sincerely,
Astra Thomas

I just talked to Astra Thomas and I asked her how long this "quiet period" would last and her response was their attorneys are working as quickly as possible to get things concluded. She did not explain what the attorneys were working on??? She said all investors that got the original "quiet time" email will get followup information as this moves forward.
You can't possibly be as old as me...no one is?? I don't look that old so people say but that is what the old birth certificate says....maybe it was forged??
I beat that dreaded cancer twice and if anyone knows the importance of research and new discoveries it's me. the firt time I was only 29...they gave me three months at the most. I fired the doctor...first things first then fought like hell. When I hear things about the stem cell I remember all the people I met going through that dreaded disease and how they were praying for a break...just a chance to live. People like Dr. Lanza give us hope. Once we find out we are not exempt from that awful news we adopt a totally different attitude.
Jannie kick azz...I beat it twice and you are going to do it too. Have faith and don't give that damn disease one more day than you have too. Now I will make a confession I don't like to make but to make you feel better I will. 33 years ago at age 29 they told me I had stage 4 and maybe three months. The first thing I did was FIRE the doctor. I went 23 years clear then it decided to take another try with me and I beat it again. You can do the same thing....I want you out of bed and shopping in three days...you go girl. Really I'm only 26 I just lie about my age so I can fool around with old men....reverse the numbers and what do you get..another day younger.
The world does adjust to new science and sooner or later we all have a loved one that can benefit...or ourself...when it hits home we realize how important this research really is.
I thought that was fabulous news (hiring Trilogy) and I agree unless there was important news and a bright future why pay out that kind of money and give that kind of stock warrants. Did you see the Trilogy Website...they do a very professional job.
JJ here is an interesting article from jagnotes....
Dr. John Faessel - On The Market 2
Let's keep in mind that the use of stem cells is now
part of everyday treatment in certain types of
cancer therapy, and many people are alive because
of it.
Some history: Remember the bone marrow
transplants from donor relatives used to replace
bone marrow that had been depleted by cancer
therapy? Well, since 1986 umbilical cord stem cells
have been safely and routinely used to replace bone
marrow that had been depleted by cancer therapy.
The key point here is that un-matched stem cells
were (and are now) used in these situations; since
then, hundreds of thousands of these therapies
have been carried out.
In sum: (ACTC) is a mini-cap ($11 million)
development company now trading on the bulletin
board with an exceptional story. The potential for
their technology to aid mankind could well be
tremendous, and there is a mega market potential
for their new breakthrough science. It's definitely a
compelling stock to follow.
*The article describes a method for deriving stem
cells from human blastomeres with a single-cell
biopsy technique called Preimplantation Genetic
Diagnosis [PGD].

You got the wrong person I totally believe it will be green soon and I haven't sold....think you got me mixed up with someone else.
Princess wasn't pumping...I never asked anyone to buy nor suggested they sell that isn't any of my business. I have a right to believe in stem cell research and a right to believe in the discovery ACTC has made. I still believe the pps on this stock will come back so plan to stay with it...if you don't then make your own decision. I in no way tried to influence you or anyone else.
The key word is "if." "If" it gains 300+% I won't have to worry either....so either way the end result is "I won't have to worry."
It's unreal how these folks think we need their permission to invest our money. I can't imagine attacking them because I don't like the stock they invested in or their enter/exit point. There's a nice ring "to each their own." As a newbie to trading I didn't realize the first step to investing was to run a voting poll to see if I could put my money on an investment. Learn something new everyday.
What is your point?? If you don't believe in the company why are you invested? If you aren't invested why are you bothering to push your negativity? I didn't ask you to invest or anyone else for that matter....it's my money. I didn't know I needed your approval to invest???
