Cancer - The OM piece is what intrigues me with B. Our middle daughter, now 24, was diagnosed with oral carcinoma at age 21 in the summer of 2017. It took two surgeries to remove tissue of a small cancerous spot on the side of her tongue to get to a clean margin - with no need for chemo or radiation following. Awesome!
Then she had a surgery later that fall to remove lymph nodes in her neck- checking potential hot spots detected from a post op PET scan. Clear report comes later on the lymph nodes tested after 5 hours in surgery that long day. Cancer free. Thank God.
Fast forward now to March 2020. Oral carcinoma is back, again, same area. Took 2 more surgeries at age now 24 to get a clean margin on her tongue, finally- I get to sit in the parking lot at the hospital for both surgeries because my wife is the only one that can go in to the hospital due to novel C.
Our daughter is again cancer free, thank God, but for how long???
If the carcinoma comes back again, will Dr. want to do chemo/radiation to try to knock it out for good- with the potential side effects of OM...that a B oral rinse might help?
I’m all in- invested for many reasons - C being one, cancer being the other.
Go get them Leo.
