Anyone still around?
Hope you are doing well with your investments with Astellas or other investments.
Do you folks miss this place?
"Step right up folks and try your luck-for only .0013, you can buy the undiscovered stock of the century with potential and patents so great that just purchasing a few thousand shares(for a total of $2.60) will make you wealthy beyond your wildest imagination!!!"
Signed,
Donald Trump lol
I wish I had just $1 for everytime I have heard that prediction/optimism which didn't come true with all of the stocks I have owned over the years.
The only ones smiling are those who shorted he sh t out of this thing when it started to plummet.
All masochists will be smiling at the end with the only drawback/sadness being they can't lose any more money because the stock price is ZERO!
I am not disgreeing other than to say that when excessive hope supercedes objective analysis, the latter loses its meaning.
I believe that that is the case here.
I mean there are pleny of savvy and knowledgeable investors eith deep pockets, and yet with this alleged bargain price of of a lifetime and with the company with so much potential, then one has to ask themself why today and for that matter many days the volume is zero or next to zero.
Are all of those other investors out there that stupid and/or uninformed so as not to be buying now?
Are the people in this forum the only ones in the world who see this alleged potential?
Personally I think it is a misnomer to use the word "potential" with any stock which has lost 99.99% of its value and in this case whose stock price is sitting at .0013.
For that matter and using that logic, I or anyone else has the "potential" to win the next PowerBall drawing.
The words "wild dreams" rather thsan potential would serve better that "potential" in both cases.
I am not sure what you mean.
For the record I do own the stock am down around $2500, which and not to brag, isn't even lunch money for me.
It is a good stock???? How so and based on what???
Yeah it is a "purrrfect" lotto ticket all right, which means by my way of thinking that if a PowerBall ticket costs a couple of dollars, then yeah sure, take a chance for $2.00 and buy one ticket(or in this case invest .000000000000000000001 of one's investing income).
However once someone goes much beyond that and invests a totally disproportionate amount of money to one's investing capital to the point where it becomes an compulsive obsession with no end, a serious problem exists in that the investor has lost all touch with reality.
I am sure that the dire consequences of this kind of reckless investing/GAMBLING are obvious.
This stock is a masochist's dream!
Essentially there is no difference between what my cat deposits in her litter box and this company/stock.
Personally I think a distress/barf bag would be more fitting and in order for those investors who in some cases have lost 99.9%+ of their investment.
The stock is at .001, the low for the year, and yet some people are holding out hope that it is the buying opportunity of a lifetime.
Imo one would be better served to sell what they have left in this stock and "invest" it in multiple Powerball ticket combinations when the jackpot is high-your chances would be better than they are here as last I heard some chance is better than ZERO which is the case here!
I lost a couple of grand which isn't even lunch money for me compared to the worth of my overall holdings.
I feel bad for those who hav put 25,50 or in some cases close to 100% of their investing money into this.
Based on over 45 years of investing experience, the chances of this doing anything positive other than bouncing for a few pennies is almost existent.
My deceased father who was extremely successful in the market and made seven figures overall warned me on a number of occasions to stay away from penny stock garbage because even if you get lucky once or twice, overall "investing" in total unproven/speculative garbage like bably as your principal form of investment will put your deep in the red and that you will never ever recover your losses.
See next post.
Its more like smart hands are selling, trying to salvage what they can out of a company which is soon to officially go bankrupt!
Imo the term "weak hands getting out" never has and never will apply to a atock selling at .0011.
You want bad news?
How about bad news that the stock price has gone from 1.76 to.0156, which is well over a 99% drop, a company which hasn't turned a yearly profit in eight years, a company whose stores are deserted because no one is interested in buying their out of style/uninteresting clothes and a company which has already declared bankruptcy-how much more bad news would take away the boredom??? lol
ps The only "bad news" remaining is when the patient officially goes from comatose to dead.
Imo it is pretty far fetched in view of the slaughter recently of stock price in Macy's, Dillards, Kohls, etc., all highly established retailers, that Pac Sun, a rinky dink company with clothes which are out of style and favor and which no one wants, can be the exception here especially when bankruptcy has alreay been declared.
What makes anyone think if Amazon can murder the companies cited, that Pac Sun will be one of the few left standing?
Anything is possible, but for me at this juncture, investing in this company other than for a possible lucky and short lived bounce is a total waste of money and a poor choice.
Do you think after investing for over 45 years I don't know that? lol
Newbie-yeah right!
Click on my posting name and see how long ago was the first time I posted here.
You are probably right about not being too many newbies here unless of course they enjoy "sniffing the garbage truck."
I fully blame myself for not doing enough dd when I bought this garbage a few years ago rather than relying too much on the hype and bs surrounding it most of which was written by a former moderator.
Thankfully I invested only a tiny pittance of what I could have if I wanted to, which would/could have been a six figure investment at least.
Still hyped garbage is hyped garbage, and most importantly it needs to be pointed out to newbies.
Imo bankruptcy is not far away, and that the "stock dinosaurs" will have some new company very soon!
Just reporting what I saw in a large market.
I am not saying one can't flip this for some quick money, but imo based on the news, historical fact in situations like this one and other factors, this company as we know it is going to assume room temperature very soon.
I promised about a week or so ago that I wouldn't post anything until/if the stock closed at .06 or higher or .02 lower
Well it was not hard to figure out which would occur first. lol
Sidelight-my wife and I just got home from vacation in Ft. Lauderdale.
During our vacation we visited the world famous Galleria two times.
What is of of interest is that we passed by the Pac Sun there a total of five teams.
During three of the passbyes there were no oeople in the store and just a couple of board sales people folding clothes.
On one other time there was one person in the store.
On our last pass by lomand behold there were four people in the store.
My wife and I decided to go in the store on the last passbyes.
To cut to the chase, let's just say that the clothing was totally boring, unimaginative with dull colors.
To sum it, it is completely understandable why this company hasn't turned a profit in eight years and the stock price under $.02
That's it-back at $.01 or around .035.
Good luck!
ps and yes one of those days we visited was on a Saturday in the middle of the afternoon.
If anyone cares, I am through posting anything here until/if stock closes at .02 or below or .06 or higher.
Good luck.
You forgot to mention the "minor stuff"'such as eight straight years of yearly losses. lol
I don't get your point, sorry.
I have a seven digit net worth not because my main investments have been in the Pac Suns of the world, that's for sure!
I hear you. lol
Seriously, the other thing which hurts them is the tremendous amout of competition in specialized clothes.
Lots of these stores arealso hurting, meaning that it will come down the survival of the fittest.
"Blind" as in your posting name is the appropriate term as it relates to overly optiistic views of this stock.
600 stores all selling stuff that virtally no one wants.
Not turning a yearly profit in eight years speaks volumes!
You and I are on the same page.
Imo anyone who wants to gamble with this stock for a quick flip ought to put their sell order in as soon as they obtain their shares;it doesn't pay to get too greedy with this manipulated stocks like this one.
I get the feeling in reading some of the posts that impending bankruptcy, the fact that the company hasn't turned a yearly profit in about eight years. that its clothes are out of favor and not desired are nothing more than a surface scratch and that the company's stock has fallen by over 97% in less than a year are no big deal.
Ok-sure-right on if you say so. lol
If there is a 10000 to 1 reverse split, there is chance you might see $1.00 again.
The "we" doesn't apply to everyone including me-I sold all of my shares a few weeks ago at a lot higher average than current price.
If that floats your boat, go for it.
For me at this juncture I have better things to do with my investing time and money than to bother with what is probably petty penny ante at best.
It sure looks like the final death spiral is fully in effect here.
Yes I lost like just about everyone in here, but fortunately it was a controlled loss meaning that I invested responsibly used discretionary money only with this stock meaning relative to the size of my overall portfolio it wasn't that large and I was able to easily absorb what I lost.
And yes I know the feeling also and can point to many other companies where I lost also-thats show biz, you win some and lose some and hopefully come out ahead after all is said and done.
I wish you the very best with this stock and all of your other investments also.
If Psun does come back, I will have no regrets as I did what was best for ME under the existing circumstances.
ps I will come back and buy this stock if there is any news to justify so doing.
delwcu-I lost money on this stock like just about everyone else and got faked out when that manipulated rally took place right before the collapse.
I regret not selling a lot more than I did during the rally instead of getting relative peanuts later.
Hopefully for your sake and others still holding and adding I will be wrong and you will at least recoup what you invested.
You are probably correct as it is disrepectful to make fun of the dead.
The new symbol for this company should be PSUNK and not PSUNQ as just about anyone invested in this soon to be corpse of a company has seen his investment sink very badly.
Over the long haul investments the only "plus"of stocks like this one is to allow one to offset losses with hopefully gains made with good investments. lol
Sure you could double your money or more, but you could also see $0 before this happens.
In any case, I would still take my chances with rolling the dice/in this case spinning the roulette wheel one time for all of the marbles if I had to make the choice.
If someone gave me say $1000 and told me that the requirement to keep it is that I must either invest al of it in Pac Sun or bet the entire amount on one spin of the roulette wheel at the casino on red or black or odds or even, I would choose the roulette wheel 100% of the time for the simple reason that I would have almost a 50% chance of winning as opposed to almost zero with Pac Sun.
