EAGM on the move again! back to penny land for this one!
yep .. MGMX attracting alot more investors ..
there should be many days like this .. MGMX only needs a few consistent days like this to get its good rep back .. then we will start pushing back up to penny land
vasco .. have you had any feedback about your spreadsheet yet? just think if we had 5, 6, 7, or more projects like this ..
MGMX looking great today ..
EAGM would be a good play today .. its ready and would move fast with some momo i thinkz
jonny, can you clean up the board? and ban eso loco .. gracias
LOL ..
where in the world did you read that? most colombianos are not big people .. considering the work these guys do day in and day out, even though they are small, they are strong people .. in my opinion the pictures seem to be small on the website .. i wish they would allow us to see the pictures with better resolution.
did you sign up already? once you have logged into the group, click on Photos in the left hand side menu, then choose the Colombia - MGMX Photos album.
for now the Yahoo Group serves its purpose ..
that does not make sense .. i took the photos i have them here on my computer .. my question was how to post the pictures here in IHUB. i will check into it myself. GL
where .. how?
Yahoo Group is only for posting the pictures .. if we could post pictures here in IHUB I would.
All, I posted a few more pictures in the MGMX Yahoo Group. The following people are included in the pictures I posted;
1- Gilberto Zapata, minero y accionista
2. Jairo Lopez, Tecnico minero
3. Jairo Giraldo, CEO
4. Diego Gomez, Geologo
Please read my previous posts for more descriptions about my visit at the Feria.
Here is an update on research that I am working on;
I spoke to a friend today who will attempt to get information from the chamber of commerce here in Medellin regarding MGM. Once I have the papers (not sure how long it will take), I will take photos and post on the Yahoo Group.
Also, I will plan a trip to the MGMX office. I will also ask when I am there if they can give me any pictures of their mines to post in our Yahoo Group. I will also take pictures of their office.
I hope everything I am doing is helpful to everyone. We still dont have specific information that we are looking for (details about the companies progress) but at least we are able to see this is a real company.
esooooo!!!
I did not speak with him very long .. it was a very quick and formal introduction .. he was with alot of people but when i was introduced to him (as an investor) he stopped what he was doing and spent some one on one time with me which was nice. i would imagine when i get a chance to visit their office he might give me some information like that? By the way, remember the new Geologist Diego Gomez they hired recently? He was also with the CEO and was able to speak to him briefly.
All, I just got back from the "Feria Internacional Minera" in Medellin. It went very well and I spoke to several people from MGMX who were there today. It was a pretty big event, lots of companies there and lots of people (including investors) from all over the world who are here in Medellin for this event. I will post a couple of pictures I took in the MGMX Yahoo Group Kermit setup however I will wait to post the pictures of MGMX people until I have a chance to write up something up regarding who is who and what we talked about. One thing I will say is that the CEO happened to be there today and I spoke to him (very) briefly .. for those of you who speak spanish .. el es un hombre muy formal .. he spoke to me briefly about how they are in the process of improving (growing) their office here in medellin and invited me to visit it this coming week (my schedule it tight next week so not sure if i can make it). Also, he mentioned he is very happy with the progress they are making and said they are very busy. I did not speak very long with the CEO, I spent most of my time with one of the mine owners. Great guy, very knowledgeable, showed me around the Feria and talked about alot of mine stuff in which I did not understand :) The guy lives in Segovia and has around 30 years experience working in the mines out there. Anyway, I will write something up tomorrow or Monday and post the pictures I took of them.
ok .. already joined the group .. thanks
folks .. got a call from someone today and informed me about this www.miningcolombia.com "Fiera International Minera 2006" which is open to the public tomorrow .. they said someone from MGMX would probably be there .. anyone want to bet where i will be tomorrow? i will post any pictures on the yahoo group kermit setup .. i am also working on a couple of other things .. i will try to visit the MGMX office soon and take some photos .. also i am going to try an get someone to visit the "Camara De Comercio" for me here in medellin and get what ever papers they can for MGMX. I will continue to work on these items as time permits .. its just i also have alot of other projects going on with my day job :)
ok .. i should have some time tomorrow .. i will try to get something
thats a good idea .. i will work on that
you hear from me because i have redundant internet connections (in medellin) and i am always checking into my investments .. the only reason why i continue posting on this board is because i am here (in medellin) and hopefully can someday provide some kind of value which will help the pps go up .. at this point i have not been able to do much other than confirm that the company does exist and appears as though they have alot going on .. i wish who ever is bringing down the pps would go away so the real value of this company will come out (and i can get my money back and maybe some profit).
i dont like the lack of communication (which includes their website maint because its a major part of communication to future investors) but i dont think this is a scam at all .. it just seems like they need someone else in charge ..
guess you never been to colombia because this place is advanced .. the slowness is the people .. not the technology .. its like this in almost any country outside the USA .. people from the USA are very punctual .. everyone else its when they get around to it. .. in regards to redsky .. it will be interested to see what he comes back with .. he sent me an email last tuesday and i replied letting him know i was not around .. i just arrived back in medellin last night but do not have any messages from him ..
no .. i have been traveling on business .. it would be interesting to see whats up with him ..
jonny, i think thats a given due to the fact they had to re-group soon after the first round of meetings .. it appears they are overwhelmed with negotiations and logistics with their endevor to get one of their mines producing at higher levels .. however it seems as thought they should be able to multi task and continue projects with their other mines .. im off to the airport again .. i am currently in miami .. sure wish i had some $$ to stay here until the weekend ..
thats true .. but i am just going on what i had read in one of their PRs .. i dont want something they stated (in a PR) they would be doing, to drop of the radar .. however they could have new priorities based on what has been happening as of late ..
also it would be nice an independent geologist report .. they had promised this would be coming soon .. but no word yet ..
does anyone have the contact info for their broker heritage trust? i have not been able to find it
lol .. that photo is better than my level II jumping goldfish
yes thanks .. so Jonny, whats up with the board moderator, assistant etc..
I would agree .. I happen to be living and working in Medellin Colombia, and also invested big in MGMX (based on a recommendation from a Colombian friend of mine) .. one thing I am working on is how we can verify mining licenses etc.. with the local government .. I figured this would be someone individual investors can do on their own .. they do however have some licenses and an official letter from the goverment posted on their website which all appear to be valid .. it should be easy but people can be slow to respond down here .. sometimes a simple reply can take weeks .. these guys work on colombian time .. not USA time. I am currently traveling but will be back in Medellin this week .. as soon as I get info I will post it .. but now does seem to be a great time to load up on shares so hopefully we will get some new investors as well as others averaging down .. GLTA
i am having internet problems ...
me too :)
makingsomegravy .. AGREED %100 on your comments .. the nature of how they communicate with their shareholders is very aggravating .. at least have someone at least send a courtesy response.
I will ask a friend to check into check into where we can ask about their mining licenses however I do beleive they have posted at least two on their website, but for validation purposes we can dig futher .. at least for the folks who speak spanish they can call on their own .. as soon as I find out something I will post it.
Also, anyone have the number for their transfer agent (Heritage Trust)?
I met with Fernando Parra when he was down for the meetings last month .. he had just come back from Segovia and showed me a few pictures he had taken .. very impressive .. I am assuming some of the pictures will end up on their website (I had expected that they would have already been posted) .. I also had an opportunity to meet with the owners of the Las Malvinas Mine .. great guys and seemed to have alot of knowledge .. so in response to jam_cracker .. Segovia is over 8 hours away from Medellin, and based on all the information I have received here in Medellin, I am not interested in making the trip .. send me a private message if you are interested in contacting me. I have had 3 phone calls in the past month from people here in Medellin, asking how they can invest in MGMX .. they got my name and number from friends of mine who know I have invested in MGMX. Obviously I do not have much information for them because I dont know how that works here, but whats interesting is once people catch word of this they are all interested .. everyone knows about Segovia. I feel sorry for anyone who got in when I did but I have been able to average down alittle and hopefully this thing will pay me back for my patience.
idahoseb .. yeah probably,
he is probably the only ken lamb in the world so what ever your google search pulls up for ken lamb is probably most definitely him .. keep up the work .. let us know what else you find ok .. lol
hey idahoseb .. i hope you dont hold your breath too long .. you might turn blue .. hey if you happen to be in town (medellin) look me up at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana
i agree also .. i am seeing progress .. and i can understand how this will not be an overnight thing .. i dont know why so many people are trying to find something wrong with what MGMX is doing vs talking about the potential here .. in regards to pictures and their website, i have been trying to get in contact with fernando parra in order to find out why they have not posted anything yet however since i now realize that the new mine has just officially opened up, then end of week sounds reasonable to get some pictures up .. hopefully he will get back to me .. i actually spoke to him when he was here in medellin recently for the meetings .. nice guy and very excited about what MGMX is doing.
